Chapter 28
"How could this happen right now?" The Ketchum family and the Urup family are now in Alice's room, as Alice is sleeping on her bed, feeling a little pain from it.
Tox says, "It is a miracle that she didn't break her bones after falling from the horse. But there is a slight problem...I can't recognize any disease that Alice is having right now. All I know is that her body is weakening."
"I want to know, is her life in danger?" Ash asks.

Alice frowns and says, "Great...I'm helpless, just like before..."
"Alice, you are not helpless." Eve says. "You were just sick, everyone gets sick all the time and they will feel better after some time."
"But I can't get sick right now...I want to help Ash..." Alice says.

Alice can only nod, but David says, "But what about the Gym inspection now that Alice is in this kind of state? And my gym is actually the next one."

"She's also here in this region, why don't you try to find her as well?" Steven asks.
"I've been busy these days, after meeting Aurora, I am going to help my girlfriend in Fiero City." Luke says.
"You've got a girlfriend?" Steven asks.

When Ash is still staying by Alice's side on the bed, Ash says, "Alice, how about trying to think of positive things? Maybe you'll feel much better if you do so?"
"And how would I do that? Considering that all I could think of is the bad past that I've gotten from those bullies." Alice says.
"Just think about our dates, our confessions, and other stuff. Aren't those happy memories?" Ash asks, "Just please think of them."
"I'll try." Alice says, wanting to do what Ash has suggested.
Just then, Adam walks into the room and shows a letter to Ash. Ash asks, "Dad? What's wrong?"
"I've just got a letter from my sister." Adam says. "The truth is, she couldn't have any children because she had tubal cancer. She removed her fallopian tube via surgical methods, which rendered her infertile. That's why she decides to send you this letter. Ash, you're the heir to the thorn of Rota, the Crown prince."
Ash and Alice widen their eyes in shock, the Rota Kingdom's throne was supposed to be for Adam, but he gave up his throne and purses his love, which is Delia, and he decides to pick her sister Ilene as the new queen.
"But Dad, you know that I'm already the prince of the Sevestar Region. How could I be the Crown Prince of another region?" Ash asks.
"I know, I could've taken the throne myself, but then again, I already gave up the throne and it wouldn't be right for me to take it back." Adam says. "Just take your time to think about it, also..."
Adam looks at Alice, who flinches a little, he smiles, "Being a crowned prince means that a lot of people will be trying to become your crowned princess. I suggest that you go through the marriage quickly before things get complicated."
Ash and Alice can only blush as to what Adam has said before he leaves, Alice says, "Prince of two Kingdoms, huh? Who would have expected? How about marrying two wives? One for the Sevestar and one for Rota?"
"I rather just marry someone who could handle the duties as both the Crown Princess of Sevestar and Rota. I don't want to have two lovers, I want to be loyal to one, you know. Besides, I want to marry for love, not for political purposes." Ash says.
Alice is touched to hear what Ash has said, but with her current state right now, she has doubts, "But what if the person you wish to marry is not capable of ruling a kingdom?"
Ash sighs and says, "Don't let your health problems get into your head, Alice. Remember, think positive things. I'm sure that the person I wish to marry is capable of ruling a kingdom."
Alice can only nod, it seems like Ash really wants her to be the Crown Princess. Just the thought makes her happy a little, and she can eventually get out of bed because of it.
The Crown Prince of Rota?" Mark says with a gasp.
"That seems fair since you're the eldest of our family." Minami adds. "But being a princess of the two kingdoms seems fun as well."
"I just hope that nobody finds out or else more trouble is going to come to us." Ash says.
"Just imagine how much money you'll get after being the Crown Prince of Rota as well, a lot of girls will die just to be with you." Eve jokes.
"Eve, just shut up." Alice glares at Eve a little.
"Sorry, I know that Ash already has his eyes on someone already." Eve says.
With Alice staying at the castle for rest, Ash decides to take a stroll on the road with Pikachu following him. But they notice Serena and he knows that he can't hide from her once he's in her sight.
"Hello, Red." Serena says. "It has been a while since I saw you, what were you doing these days?"
"Staying by Princess Aurora's side because she's sick." Ash says.
"Her again..." Serena growls a little, but she calms herself down and asks, "I remember that she did fall off her Glastrier the other day, is she okay?"
Ash is confused as to why Serena is asking if she's okay, but then he understands since Serena is not actually worried for Alice, only wanting to know so that she can steal Ash in a time like this. Ash says, "She is fine, right now she's in our castle training her Pokemon."
"I see." Serena seems disappointed since this is not the answer she wants to hear. At the same time, Helen and Luke arrive as Helen says, "Champion Red. There you are."
"Luke, Helen. Good to see you two. What are you doing here?" Ash asks.
"We've made some porridge for Princess Aurora." Helen says, "We think that it might help her feel better."
"Though I just ran into my father, I can't blame him since I did run away from home without informing him where I had been."Luke says. When he notices the Kalos Queen Serena, he says, "Oh, I see that the Kalos Queen is here as well."
"I remember that the two of you are the Rock and the Fire Type Gym Leader in Sevestar, right?" Serena asks.
"Yes, and they are the best Jewel maker and the S-Class Connoisseur." Ash says. "I'm sure Aurora will like your soup. Let's give it to her right now."
Then Ash bids farewell to Serena as they leave, Serena laments a little as she misses talking to Ash, or Champion Red in her mind right now.
And here is the new chapter, as you can see, Adam is giving Ash and Alice the great news, Ash is going to be the crown prince in Rota, which is something that I've already written in my older version of Sevestar Prince and the Sevestar Prince Darker Version's ending. Ash is also trying to help Alice as much as he can since Alice's body is now weak because of the Violet Depression.
