Today officially marks one year since I started writing fanfics for Amphibia, most of which take place after the events of the series. This is my anniversary gift to all of you who have made these fics possible.

Today was the one-year anniversary since Anne Boonchuy, Sasha Waybright, and Marcy Wu started dating each other.

When they reunited for Anne's 23rd birthday, they realized that they had loved each other all along. The girls had been in other romantic relationships in between the end of Frogvasion and their reunion, but each and every one of them had flamed out. But once they became a triple, they were finally in a romantic relationship that had numerous things their previous relationships without each other had. And of course today, Anne turned 24.

The girls were still well-known from their roles in Frogvasion 11 years before, so when it became public knowledge that they were dating each other, the girls used this publicity to advocate for polyamory rights all across the United States.

Even though it had been only a year since they started dating, the girls' efforts quickly went noticed as many Democrat voters pushed for the legalization of polyamorus marriages of up to four people together. Many figured 3-4 people would be a good starting point, if they wanted to legalize larger groups marrying each other, they could revisit that somewhere down the road.

It was 2031, and the Democrats controlled the White House and both chambers of Congress. The bill quickly passed Congress, and it was now headed to the president's desk to be signed into law.

The girls were watching this historic moment unfold on TV with plans to dine at a fancy restaurant where they had reservations later that night.

The girls booked a table months before at Anajak Thai in Sherman Oaks. Given Anne was Thai-American, they thought it would only be appropriate that her birthday dinner be eaten at a Thai restaurant, and one much more fancy than Thai Go at that.

Anne, Sasha, and Marcy were on break from work when they turned on TVs at their workplaces – Marcy's being within the apartment they shared, which they planned to move out of in a year in favor of the house they were planning – to watch the president sign into law legality of groups of 3-4 people to get married to each other.

Once the bill was signed into law, Anne and Sasha's respective co-workers applauded for them; Marcy didn't have any co-workers.

For Anne, no birthday present that Marcy and Sasha could give her could top this, although she did eagerly await presents from her girlfriends.

Later that night at Anajak Thai, the girls discussed the historic moment while waiting to place their order.

"I can't believe it. Just one year of hard work and it's already paid off," Anne said.

"America looks at polyamory different than before because of us," Sasha said.

"We can now legally take our relationship to the next level in a year," Marcy said.

Sasha and Marcy had totally gotten into Thai food because of Anne. They thought there were so many good choices on the menu that it took them a while to decide. But the food would be really good.

As well, Anne got presents from her girlfriends. Sasha gave her a fantasy novel with a frog protagonist. Marcy gave her a Thai food cookbook that had many recipes that did not come from Anne's mother.

Anne said to her girlfriends after receiving these presents, "aw thanks, you two are the best girlfriends a woman could have."

"No problem Anna-Banana," Sasha said.

"Here's to another year," Marcy said.

The first year of the girls' romantic relationship with one another had been very awesome. Now that they could become a single married unit, they could now plan their wedding. They wanted to time their wedding to the day where they would officially move into their new house. So they had lots of planning to do.
