Heaven and Hell had been creatively dealt with.
Consequently, one particular Angel and Demon pair suddenly had the time and freedom to do whatever...with whomever...they pleased.
"So what's next, 'Zira?" Crowley asked, in a purposefully nonchalant manner.
Aziraphale replied to his question with uncharacteristic impatience, however. "Just shut up, Dear, and kiss me already!"
"Words are overrated, anyway, Angel," the demon murmured in agreement as he immediately dropped all pretenses and eagerly began making up for every bit of time they had missed together.
After all, 6000 years was a long time to wait.
