A/N: So some explaining on the characters personality… He's cold blooded, if he sees you as an obstacle he's gonna remove you from the equation by any means necessary, be it through murder, seduction or money not in that order, he even goes through a little bit of back story for anyone who's into that. With that out of the way let's get on with the story.

Chapter 1: Escaping Riften!

Pov: Torone

Staring at my stats for a moment to contemplate what to allocate my spare points into, after several minutes of contemplation I decided on this.

| Name:Torone Snowpeak l Race: Nord l Lv: 1 (Exp: 20/1000) |

| HP: (120) 60 l (Scales with Vit)

| SP: 100 l (Scales with End)

| MP: 160 l (Scales with Int)

Stats:

- Vitality: (12) 6

- Endurance: 10

- Strength: (15) 7.5

- Dexterity: 14

- Charisma: 14

- Intelligence: 16

- Wisdom: 10

- Luck: (10) 5

- Spare Stat Points: 0 -

While I could dump all my points into one of my stats I would rather not focus solely on one stat seeing as I fall behind in other areas. Shaking my head I approach the dead body and begin looting, finding a pair of fur gloves and 10 septims.

= Fist of the Pugilist =

Rank: D (Uncommon)

Item Description: Belonged to a once renowned pugilist who was ousted for taking potions before his matches. Deals an extra 10 points in unarmed damage

Huh, so that's who died, oh well moving on…

Putting on the gloves I continued onwards slowly navigating the Ratways as best as I could, only to stop a notification 'popped' up.

_ Quest Received: Escape from Riften!

You were wrongly imprisoned, so it's time to escape before mourning!

Objective: Escape from Riften before mourning.

Side Objective 1: ?

Side Objective 2: ?

Reward: 1 Blessing pull, 3 common gacha tokens, 450 Exp, ?, ?

Failure: 3 Curses, Harsher Sentence, Lower Exp gain

Not gonna lie, that quest wasn't really needed, seeing as I was gonna leave Riften behind when I was ready, but it seems my system, though quiet, doesn't want that. Picking up my pace I soon hear voices up ahead.

"...don't know, Drahff They would skin us alive if they knew we were doin' this."

I crouched down and slowly approached the corner where the voices were coming from and pulled out my last two throwing knives.

"Why are you always acting like a big baby? I've gotten us this far haven't I Hewnon?"

Taking a breath to steady my nerves, I exhale then inhale before exhaling one last time.

"This far? We're living in a sewer. You said we'd be living inside a mansion the size of the Black-Brairs by now."

I lunge around the corner and let the knives fly.

"Sigh, You just worry abou- AGCK!" "Hey wha- GRRK!"

And with that two bodies fell, both knives sticking out of their throats and chest respectfully, the brute Hewnon pulled the knife out but all he did was speed up his death, the thin one Drahff tried to fight instead. Pulling the knife from his chest after getting up the dying man rushed only for me to back track, leading Drahff down the corridors to where the pugilist's body resides as I was leading I noticed that Drahff was slowing down, before long Drahff would collapse due to blood loss.

I decided to taunt him a bit to keep him going "Come on Drahff, you can do better than that, weren't you going to be as wealthy as the Black-Briar's? News flash Drahff you would have been a target for the poor, the cunning, the vile all of them after your so called wealth."

I continue to goad even when he nearly got me when he finally collapsed, falling face first to the stone floor with a thud.

Shaking my head as I reach down and grab the bloody knife before with a steady hand I reach down and slit his throat.

Drahff 90 Exp!

Hewnon 60 Exp!

As I loot Drahff's body you may be wondering as to why I'm showing no emotion in killing these two idiots and you'd be asking a good question. There are a couple of reasons for that, first is before my reincarnation is I come from a broken home, abusive parents and a shitty social life, second is when you die you become a 'little' jaded from the experience. The last one is from my new family's death and Mavens manipulations, so yeah I may be a 'little' jade and quite a bit angry.

Finishing with the looting from the corpses and retrieving my throwing daggers bringing me up to four knives. I stare at the 'haul' I got Drahff's corpse, 1 'hunting' bow, D rank common rarity, 12 arrows, a bottle of wine with what looks like stale cheese which I threw away and finally 3 bloody septims.

Staring at Drahff's corpse I scoff "Yeah you were gonna be in a mansion the size of the Black-Briars? Don't make me laugh.'' With that I walked back to Hewnon's corpse and began my looting.

From Hewnon I looted a steel mace, a C rank Common, that is too damn heavy for me to wield properly and a bottle of Skooma which will come in handy later. Uncaring for any blood on my person I walk out of the Ratway and into Riften proper.

POV: Third Person: Black-Briar Manor

"RAHG!" The sound of items being thrown about in a hidden office under the Black-Briar Manor, something Maven paid a pretty septim for, before having the builders killed after it was constructed of course.

Like all things in the Manor the office was lavish in the 'I'm overly rich and you know it' kind of way. Furniture with no blemish or flaw, paintings painted by master artists, and trinkets designed by master craftsmen all paid handsomely but what really stood out in the office was what was on the back wall, the Vault. The Vault contained all the things the Black-Brair considered valuable to their family, be it riches, items of importance such as deeds to varying businesses or bills of sale. The Vault was a one of a kind and probably the only vault out there that was actually thief proof, the owner would know she had several thieves tried and watched as they failed over and over with amusement.

The owner, Maven Black-Briar was currently frustrated, Maven was a woman in her early forties with deep black hair that frames a heart shaped face with eyes the color of topaz. She, like all Nord women, was at the height of 6 '2'', she was however rather 'gifted' in some areas of her figure then some of the other women of her race.

Huffing Maven takes a deep breath at her current failure of acquiring the Snowpeak family's recipe book, oh don't get her mistaken for not taking it when she could have, oh no it was that she couldn't read the damn thing! Apparently the Snowspeak family wrote everything down in code and the only Snowpeak that could read the blasted book was in jail because of her machinations! Oh sure you could say she didn't know but she didn't care! The Snowpeak family had tons of recipes dating back several hundred years! The Snowpeaks had prestige and when she talked with Torones father and mother, Grahlt and Risha about uniting the 'families' and while she was 'sad'(Read:Pissed) she understood when they asked for some time to think about it.

After several months she got her answer, they were willing to send Torone over to finalize the contract between the Black-Briars and Snowpeaks…

Then her FORMER husband Hemming (who is now dead btw) who didn't know they agreed to the contract sent the Dark Brotherhood upon the Snowpeaks in some hope to appease her, it didn't if anything it made her angry!

So she had him killed by Maul when Hemming admitted to sending the Dark Brotherhood thinking all of the Snowpeaks were gone, and then Torone showed up in Riften, chased by Dark Brotherhood, it took her ordering the guards to help him for the guards to do anything, lazy good for nothings. Jarl Laila took him in for a couple of nights before she managed to convince her to let her host the boy, the boy though polite was also very shy at first, it took many a week for Maven to break through his shell to ask what happened to the Snowpeaks meadery book. That she later found out was a mistake, at first he declined to tell her about it but when she wanted something she got it and Torone found out the hard way, through torture and imprisonment.

…What little that did for her, for when she got her hands on the book, she couldn't read a lick of it! She's tried several contacts that should be able to decipher it and they couldn't, the closest they got was referencing back to the Nedic empire! Which meant she had to get Torone out of prison, butter him up and get him to translate the damned book.

Shaking her head Maven grabs a quill and inkwell and begins to write on parchment before calling for Maul. Maul was an extremely tall Nord decked out in steel plate armor, Dark hair and angular face with a focused look on his face made for an intimidating figure, it was why she hired him.

Once Maul entered the room Maven hand him the letter before dismissing him, Maul who worked for Maven for years knew what to do and departed.

POV: Torones

Walking alongside the underpaths of Riften without being noticed was easier than expected given that the guards don't come down here, I stop by a shop that had a sign on it, reading the sign I know I'm close to my destination, Elfrim's Elixirs, walking across to the other side I slowly creep up the staircase looking for any kind of guard or civilian that would cause problems.

The top of the staircase was by The Bee and Barb sneaking into there was easy after seeing a guard carrying a torch up by the gate coming towards me. Waiting several minutes I checked outside and saw the guard walking over the bridge leading to the Inn, slowly walking back out I began to make my way towards the dock and from there grabbing a boat and sailing out of this shit hole.

Passing The Pawned Prawn I immediately stop as I see two guards harassing an Argonian by the Scorched Hammer. Sneaking towards the door that leads to the dock with a baited breath before breathing out in relief as they didn't see me. Sneaking about in the docks I spot several guards on patrol and at the end of the docks I see a small fishing boat with an Argonian standing by. The Argonian I remember to be Wujeeta, a known skooma addict, there were also rumors saying that if anyone offered skooma she would do anything for it.

Welp, I just hope those rumors are true otherwise she may just end up dying today, Sneaking past several guards, using crates and barrels as cover, thank the gods for my smaller stature, I get near Wujeeta to hear her mumbling "...where is that lazy lout, he said to be here early, if he doesn't show soon i'm leaving." Grinning, I look around for guards before approaching Wujeeta who notices me the moment I stand up.

"Excuse me, Wujeeta was it? How much for you to take me to the other side of the lake?" I ask, pulling the bottle of skooma from my inventory.

"I'm not talking to anyone…. Is that skooma?" her voice was grating to the ears but there was a needy tinge to her voice the moment her lizard eyes locked onto the bottle.

"Why yes it is and it can be yours if you take me to the other side, but choose quickly now before the guards notice." I'm waving the bottle in front of her now, her head was following the bottle as if in a trance.

"I, I ummm, OK FINE!?" She stammered out as I placed the bottle in her hand "Good doing business with you, milady" and with that we both got into the ship and took off. It didn't take long for us to row to the other side and disembark, leaving Wujeeta there to consume her 'well earned' skooma.

Passing by several trees I stopped when I got a notification.

Quest Complete! Escape from Riften!

You were wrongly imprisoned, so it's time to escape before mourning!

Objective: Escape from Riften before mourning: [X]

Side Objective 1: Recruit Drahff and Hewnon: [-]

Side Objective 2: Remain Undetected from the guards: [X]

Reward: 1 Blessing pull, 3 common gacha tokens, 450 Exp, ?, +2 to all stats

…Well now that's something, the plus two to all stats is nice as well as the blessing and Exp but come on! Drahff and Hewnon are naturally aggressive! No way in hell was I going to get them on my side, especially cause I have so very little wealth currently that its not even funny.

…Tapping the blessing tab on the side of the screen brings me to an entirely new screen with the word blessing on one end and curses on the other. Tapping the blessing a giant wheel of fortune appeared in front of me and began to spin, my eyes began to track several options till the wheel began to slow before landing on one option I really didn't want at this point in time.

Blessing Acquired: Doppels Body Switch!

Leaves behind one doppelganger for a short period of time, in that time frame should you reach critical health you would switch places with your doppelganger. Note, User has direct control of the Doppelganger.

As I said it before and I will say it again, I REALLY didn't want this, now I know what you're thinking. That's a good blessing! And you'd be right if it was later in the run but having this now of all times where I don't even know what point in skyrim i'm in, is the dragons running wild, did Ulfric kill Torygg, did the Brotherhood kill the emperor I need this kind of information. It's why I'm heading towards Shor's Stone, get some supplies then get to Windhelm and take a carriage to Whiterun, if there were no disruptions.

Taking a deep breath I exhale before I began the long trek to Shor's Stone, hoping nothing goes wrong.

*Grumble~*

…God Dammit…

= Chapter End =

A/N: Hey everyone! How's life treating y'all? Good? Good! Now normally I would write a little bit more but I should probably get this out there and say I'm going to be moving soon, so you all won't see an update for about a week or two after this. Now with that out of the way~

I'm willing to take suggestions on Blessing & Curses, they can be anything! For example someone could put in a curse that turns Torone into a lich or give Torone a Blessing that increases his stats truly it can be anything! But everyone only gets to suggest one Blessing or Curse, not multiple, you know who you are.

Also if its criticism go ahead! All I ask is that there are no flamers, if there is a flamer then i'll just ignore it. Have a good day to you all.
