Two Blondes in a Pod

Author's Note: Thought I want to mix things up a little, do a some Blonde on Blonde story. Reo x Eris seem like an amusing duo, so I thought I'd write it here.

Reo lies on her large bed, looking at her phone, wondering whether or not to call her girlfriend to spend time with her for the afternoon. She hasn't heard from her since this morning, so she thought she might be busy at her own home. Morning passed and all Reo ate were some already cooked meals that can be heated in the microwave and some potato chips for lunch. She bought them for herself while Mai wasn't looking when they went shopping the other day. Now, she is completely bored after playing some games on her phone that Mai recommended. She sighs heavily and sits up on the bed, dialing her girlfriend's number.
"Damn it all!" she says. "I'm so bored! I need Mai!"
She hears a few rings until she hears a click. When she is about to speak, a voicemail is heard instead.
"Hey, sorry I cannot come to the phone right now. But if you would kindly leave a message, I would appreciate it. See you later! Love you, Reo~!" Mai's voicemail says. It's all thanks to her that it was recorded on Reo's smartphone just for her to hear.
Reo is thankful for that, but even so, she cannot stand being without Mai being by her side. Mai is like her helper when it comes to doing complicated stuff, well at least to Reo when most of the every day stuff is easy to do.
"GAAAAHHH! I'm so booooored!" Reo screeches as she plops down on the bed, tossing her phone to the side. "I wanna do something other than sit there all by myself! I hate being alone!" She sighs and rolls to her side, staring at her smartphone. "Mai…"
It's not like being without Mai is the end of the world, but at times like these, it's to the point where Reo needs her more than anything. She then picks up her smartphone, scrolling through her contacts. They aren't much, but there are a few of them that she knows well and able to speak to, especially…a certain someone.
"Eris…" she says to herself.
It's summer break after all. She needs to be as active as she can, or so Mai said to her almost every single day. She's on her own for today. Time to make it count.
*Meanwhile*
Eris knocks on the door of Shizuku's home, happy as can be. "I can't wait to play with Shizuku today! What will we do today, I wonder~? Cuddle in bed? Snuggle and touch each other? Ehehehe! So many possibilities and so many options to touch my beloved Shizuku's body~! Hehe~!"
The door opens and Eris is greeted by Shizuku's maid instead. The pony-tailed blonde tilts her head in confusion.
"Eh? Where's Shizuku?" Eris asks.
"I'm terribly sorry, Eris-sama," the maid says. "But Shizuku-sama is out somewhere. She left about 15 minutes ago."
"Oh. I wanted to surprise her, too," Eris gives a sad smile. "When do you think she will be back?"
"I'm not sure," the maid says. "Do you want to wait here until she returns?"
It's tempting, but…if Shizuku will be gone for hours, she cannot just sit and be bored.
"No, it's alright," Eris shakes her head. "I'll come back another time."
The maid smiles and bows. "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience."
Eris bows in return and turns to leave. She sighs as she starts walking down the sidewalk. If Shizuku isn't available to play with, then who will? Everyone else seems to be busy as for as she knows. However…
Ring! Ring!
"Huh?" Eris picks up her phone to see Reo in her contacts. She presses the green button to answer. "Hello?"
"Erm…uhhh…" Reo sounds like she is having a hard time finding the words already.
"Reo? Is that you? Are you alright?" Eris asks.
"W-well, uhhh…I was wondering if you…are a bit busy…" Reo says quietly. "I mean, not that I'm really bored or anything, but…"
"Actually, I got some free time~" Eris says. "Are you asking me to hang out with you~?"
"S-something…along those lines," Reo replies.
Eris giggles. "How about both of us meet at the mall, then? We will have lots to explore and I will get you anything you'd like~"
The pony-tailed blonde hears a squeak coming from the other line, which she finds it super adorable.
"Y-you're not…trying to trick me…are you…?" Reo says. "Do you mean what you say?"
"Of course~" Eris says. "Though, I do have to set some boundaries. We don't want Mai-san to get mad at us, do we~?"
"O-of course not," Reo says. "Alright then. Let's meet at the mall."
"Goodie! Don't be late~!" Eris hangs up and then jumps up and down happily. She has a playdate, finally. The summer break is getting better and better for her.
At the Mall*
Reo waits at the designated location, looking at her smartphone. She looks up to see Eris wearing her usual summer casual outfit, waving at her happily.
"Reoooo~!" she cheerfully says and hugs the smaller blonde. "I'm so glad to see you~!"
"Mmmph! E-Eris! Your boobs are…!" Curse this height. Eris is tall, maybe taller than Mai even, so this is the perfect height for Reo to bury her face between her large breasts.
"It's been a while, you know~!" Eris cuddles the small blonde, hugging her a bit tighter. "I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't called me! Is this what they call a miracle~?"
"Mmmph! Mmmmmph! Eris! Get off! Get off!" Reo screeches, flailing her arms around to try and break free.
Eris finally pulls her away and giggles. "Sorry, sorry! I got too carried away there~"
"Ugh! Let's just go," Reo turns around with a huff. "I want to explore, like you said."
"Sure thing~" Eris says, petting the small blonde. "Where would you like to go? Maybe the toy section? A clothing store to find you some cute clothing? Oh, maybe buying some nice fun sized kiddie meals with drinks~?"
Reo's forehead pops a vein. Being called a "kid" is the last thing she wants to hear, especially from Eris.
"Rrrraaahh! I'm….NOT….A LITTLE KID!!" Reo shouts.
This outburst earns some onlookers, which makes Eris hug Reo tightly against her breasts to make her shut up.
"My little sister can have such a tantrum sometimes~" The pony-tailed blonde says. "Let's go before we make more of a scene, Reo~"
She drags Reo toward the mall and lets go to let her breathe.
"We can't have that now, can we~?" Eris playfully pokes Reo's nose. "If we want to properly hang out, you have to control your anger."
"Uuuu…y-yeah…I knew that…" Reo says.
"Sure you did~" Eris giggles. "Now then, shall we explore the mall…my little sister~?"
"Haaaaah….?" Reo raises an eyebrow. "What the hell is this now?"
"We kind of look alike," Eris says. "Same color hair, same colored eyes. It's almost as if we are related~"
"R-right…" Reo says. "Now I remember Mai and Kirishima Shizuku talking about us being like sisters. And I…um…also admitted to Mai that…you are like…m-my big sister…"
Eris brightens, having sparkles in her eyes. "Really!? You really said that!? Ohhh, you're so sweet~!" She hugs the petite blonde again tightly.
"NOT THE BOOBS AGAIN!" Reo shouts, flailing her arms around. "NOW WHO HAS NO SELF CONTROL, HUH!?!"
Later*
After the whole shenanigans, Reo and Eris start exploring the mall like normal people. And of course, Eris let the petite blonde buy whatever she likes, but boundaries were also set, like the pony-tailed blonde promised. They went to several stores, like a clothing store where Eris mostly has Reo be her dress-up doll, an arcade, getting some yummy lunch with dessert with Eris paying for everything, and then walking around the mall for the rest of the time. Reo sticks by Eris the entire time since she is so nervous around strangers. It's normal for her though since Mai has told Eris about Reo lacking social skills.
About a couple hours later, Eris offers Reo some ice cream cones and the petite blonde immediately accepts. After buying them, they sit down at a bench in the middle of the mall, enjoying their second dessert. Eris looks at Reo and giggles. Some of the ice cream is stuck on her face. She knows she has Shizuku to lick some food off of, but…today won't hurt to do it to Reo.
"Hey, Reo~" Eris says. "You have some drops of ice cream on your cheek~"
"Eh? O-oh, hold on, where are the napkins?" Reo looks around, but Eris stops her.
"Do not worry~" the pony-tailed blonde says. "I will be your napkin~"
"EH!?" Reo squeaks as she feels Eris' tongue on her cheek.
"Ehehe! Delicious~" Eris giggles.
Reo's face goes red, but she tries hard not to lash out at her. "Y-you idiot…"
"I'm your best napkin~" Eris says.
Reo grumbles and eats the rest of her ice cream while casting glances at the happy Eris. When they are both done with their ice cream, they throw away the wrapping and stand up.
"Well then, where to next?" Eris says.
"Erm…uhhh…" Reo looks around and sees a crane game.
Eris looks at what the petite girl is looking at and giggles. "You want one? Go ahead~"
Reo is surprised that Eris did not tease her this time. It makes her happy, but…it makes sense that they didn't want to make a scene again. She heads over toward the crane game and starts playing. Eris stands behind her to watch. Unfortunately, Reo is struggling to catch even one stuffed animal. The crane keeps on slipping, or when she catches the stuffed toy, it drops as soon as she lifts it up. The petite girl is starting to lose her patience and sighs heavily.
Although it's amusing seeing Reo all angry, Eris cannot help but step up to help out.
"Here," Eris inserts a coin and gently pushes Reo aside. "Let me handle this. What do you want?"
"Uhhhh…t-teddy…" Reo says quietly.
"Teddy? Alright, no problem~" Eris says.
The pony-tailed blonde works her magic with the joystick and easily picks up the fluffy teddy bear that is at the corner. She controls the crane like a professional and then drops it toward the prize box. Reo goes down and opens the door to retrieve the teddy. She smiles and hugs it tightly, like a little girl being given a gift.
"Are you happy~?" Eris asks.
Reo pulls her face from her teddy and nods with a small smile on her face. "Yeah…I am."
Eris smiles and pets the petite girl again.
Later*
After leaving the mall, Eris and Reo are holding hands, something that neither of them could ever think of doing, but it was just instinct. Eris looks down at Reo, who is blushing. She is holding the teddy's hand with her own.
"I haven't heard from Mai in a long time," Reo says.
"Hmmm…yeah, it's getting dark," Eris says. "I hope Shizuku's okay, too."
"D-do you mind…staying with me until Mai gets back?" Reo asks.
"Sure thing~" Eris replies with a smile.
The two blondes quickly head over to Reo's apartment and to Reo's bedroom shortly after. The petite girl sets down her teddy on the bed, as well as her bag. She is standing there, looking out the window now, waiting for her beloved to return. Eris stands by, watching. She wants to comfort her the best she can. With that in mind, she walks over toward the petite girl and wraps her arms around her from behind, in a gentle way.
"Eris?" Reo says.
"I'm not a homewrecker, but…just once would be enough right?" Eris says softly.
"What are you talking about?" Reo asks.
"I want to soothe you, that's all," Eris says. "Even after all of that, you still feel lonely without Mai-san. I want to help you feel better."
"N-no…" Reo says. "We can't do that. We cannot cheat on our girlfriends. It's wrong."
"Mmm…yes, of course," Eris says softly. "I love Shizuku with all my heart and I know you love Mai-san the same way. But…you may have forgotten: both Shizuku and Mai-san are pretty open-hearted. They approve of us being together."
"Even if…we go a bit further…?" Reo asks.
"Further? I…guess so," Eris says.
Reo turns to Eris and then pushes her on the bed. Eris squeaks in shock, her stocking clad legs dangling at the edge.
"Then…then kiss me, you fool!" Reo says. "If Mai and Kirishima Shizuku don't care about us being together, then…"
"Reo, Reo, easy there~" Eris says, cupping her cheeks. "I did say we can go further, but not to the point where we make each other feel good all the way. We can save that for our own girlfriends. For now, just a simple kiss is fine. We treat each other like sisters, after all. We should bond a bit more, you know~?"
"Y-yeah…" Reo says. "So…then…"
The petite girl leans forward bit by bit. Eris gently wraps her arms around Reo and the two blondes kiss. It's not as good as Mai's kiss, but Reo just accepts Eris' kiss. It feels good and so soothing. The two blondes pull away, gazing into each other's eyes.
"How did it feel~?" Eris asks.
"N-not…as good as…Mai's kiss…" Reo blushes. "But…it's decent."
Eris giggles and manages to sit up, holding Reo by the waist so that she can sit on her lap properly.
"I think so, too," Eris gently puts a finger on the petite girl's lips. "It was just a quick kiss. The longer kisses are special to our girlfriend's only."
"Yeah…" Reo gives a small smile with a blush.
The two remain like this for a little longer, Reo putting her hands on Eris' shoulders while the pony-tailed blonde is holding her friend by the waist.
It is then that the door opens, startling the two and Mai and Shizuku come in the room.
"EEK!" Reo squeaks. "I-i-i-it's not what it looks like! I, uhhh…!"
"Reo," Mai says. "It's about time you got along with Eris-sama for this long~"
Shizuku nods in agreement. "Seems like our plan worked~"
"What plan?" Eris asks.
"Well, Shizuku-sama and I actually lied about us going somewhere~" Mai says. "Well, part of it was a lie. We were actually in our Secret Black Haired Society group while the two of you hung out like friends~"
"More like sisters would," Shizuku says. "I even convinced my maid to tell a lie~"
"So all of that…was your idea, Mai, Kirishima Shizuku?" Reo says.
"That's right~" Mai says. "And so what if you and Eris-sama get closer to one another?"
"Mai-san and I pretended to be sisters, too~" Shizuku says. "Both of us bonded like you two did today~"
"Ehehe! I'm very glad you two approve~" Eris says. She gently puts Reo aside and joins Shizuku. "Now then, how about going to your place, Shizuku? I miss you~"
"It's only been one day," Shizuku says.
"Doesn't matter~" Eris says. "Let's get frisky in the shower~"
"N-no! I'm too tired for that!"
"Get pumped up, Shizuku~!"
"I said no!"
While Eris and Shizuku leave the room, Mai closes the door with a chuckle. She then turns to her petite girlfriend with a hand on her hip and smiles.
"So…what did you think of today?" the short haired girl asks.
"It was…fun," Reo replies with a blush.
"Hehe. You enjoyed your time with Eris-sama," Mai approaches her small girlfriend and gently embraces her. "I'm very glad you're opening up to her more and more. I'm proud of you~"
"Y-yeah…I'm…glad too…" Reo says with a small smile.
