Rewriting: Gwen 10 Hero AF Season 01 Episode 05
01 The group were talking about Max and why they hadn't been able to find him. Even his badge was off the grid, so they couldn't track him that way. Charmcaster says that she could track him if they had anything of his. Gwen says there's plenty of his stuff in the Rustbucket, and Charmcaster tells them to lead the way.
02 Once there she'd been able to preform a tracking spell unlike Ben who is more combat based magic it seems Charmcaster was well rounded instead. Once she'd gotten the location the group began heading out to get to where Max was last. They'd found the place and were checking it out trying to find Max and Kevin asked Charmcaster if she could do another tracking spell to help narrow it down.
03 Trying again she says the closest thing she could sense was over in that direction while leading the way towards a diner area. Ben says it's good they have her on their side, pretty and smart, Charmcaster then teases him and says that he could do it too if he wasn't slacking on learning more than just combat spells with a teasing smug look.
04 Ben says that he was planning on getting around to it.. sorta.. ish.. While looking awkward as they'd heard something in a truck next to a diner and found a DNAlien in stasis cuffs with something stuffed into their mouth. Charmcaster says that is so disgusting looking, to which Gwen says "Tell me about it." as Kevin rips the gag from their mouth.
05 Ben demands to know what happened and the DNAlien says Max Tennyson attacked him, Gwen then Demands to know where they are? The DNAlien says the Hatchery, he was headed towards the hatchery when he'd stuffed them into the truck. Ben says good to know, and Kevin then knocks the DNAlien out.
06 The group get to the hatchery and we see Ben was using one of his energy cards to shield them from the rain. Gwen points out the weather machor must require t whatever they are using it for must require the rain and cold. Kevin questions how they get inside and then looks at some drainage lines filled with water.
07 Gwen says Absolutely not and Kevin asks if she's got a better way in, to which she gestures over to a door an says to get them in through there. Ben uses a small energy card to slide between the door and the frame using it to cut the lock open and allowing them entrance and the four of them start to look around.
08 Once they'd got inside Charmcaster tried the tracking spell again, and told them it's this way leading to a group of DNAliens as they'd been spotted by a Xenocite that tried to attack them, though Kevin knocked it away from him and towards the DNAliens that were in the area. Then they'd all had to fight.
09 Charmcaster threw out some Rock Bats while Ben threw electrically charged cards made out of energy, Kevin absorbed the stone of the wall and starting fighting the group and Gwen changed into Articguanna blasting the DNAliens with ice and freezing them in place. Kevin jokes "And here I thought they liked the cold, my mistake." as the DNAliens were being frozen by Gwen.
10 Once they'd been taken care of the group then ran off following Charmcaster and fighting their way through the DNAliens as they'd done so. Eventually coming to a chamber that had an alien door on it instead of a normal one and opening it finding Max inside. Ben and Gwen run over helping get Max out of the restraints saying that they were glad he was alright.
11 Max says they're all a sight for sore eyes, but he's glad to see them all again and doing well. He'd also told them that he's heard about what they've done helping to take down the DNAliens and that he was proud of them, calling each of them by name then pausing to look at the girl that he didn't recognize.
12 Ben then introduces Charmcaster to Grandpa Max calling her CC as he'd done so. Max teases them asking if she was his gilfriend, which get Ben acting awkward as he's not really sure how to describe it given they've only been on one date. Though Charmcaster says just that, saying they've been on one date together but had a good time at least.
13 They hear the Highbreed telling them to gather the Xenocite eggs for project DNA and the group runs to a nearby window where they see them collecting a bunch of eggs with several trucks. Max tells the kids to stop them he'll do what he can witht he Highbreed, but Ben says that he'll help with that while the others took out the trucks.
14 Gwen and the group nod running off Kevin absorbs the cable from the room and busts through the door slamming down on one of the trucks and folding it into two with Charmcaster sending out stone bats, and very large stone creatures that were humanoid in shape with them smashing apart any trucks they came across while also fighting the DNAliens.
15 Gwen changes into Frankenstrike and joins in the fight using her electiricty powers to slam into trucks and sending bolts of electricity at others around them like a chain effect blowing up several trucks at once. They then hear blasting and see flashes of light as Max and Ben were fighting the Highbreed together with Ben destorying the egg machine.
16 Ben tells them to give it up the machine is destroyed the trucks a blown to bits, the eggs are all smashed, they've lost. Though the Highbreed says Hardly their horde is still here, a new machine can be there within one of their earth weeks, and more trucks could be there in only a few hours. Max tells them there'd be nothing for them to come to taking out a null void projector and ripping the focusing lens.
17 The Highbreed says that it would destroy Max and his little group of interlopers. Max tells Ben to get to the others and shield them and tell them he's sorry for not saying goodbye. We see Ben crying but nods and he jumps out a window throwing up a barrier around himself and one around the others as a massive explosion went off all around them taking out all of the DNAliens and the like.
18 There was a quick implosion of the smoke as it all then vanished leaving only those inside the barriers behind. Ben dropped to the ground upset as Gwen questions where Grandpa Max was, and we see Ben crying as he gets angry and punchs the ground over and over again yelling about how it's not fair, they finally find him and this happens. It's not Fair, as he's hitting the ground repeatedly and his hand starts to bleed with thunder booming in the background and it slowly starts to rain, for real this time.
