Rewriting: Gwen 10 Hero AF Season 01 Episode 06
01 We see gwen sitting still upset over the loss of Grandpa Max at a spot that Grandpa Max used to go fishing all the time and had taken them there a few times as they were growing up. Charmcaster was sitting beisde Gwen trying to talk with her about loss and the two were chatting about Gwen loosing Grandpa Max and how Charmcaster had lost her father. Meanwhile the guys were trying to get their minds off it their own way.
02 Kevin was talking to Ben about what had happen mentioning that Max was a great man and they might not be plumbers today without him helping teach them when they were kids. Something Ben agreed with sighing softly saying maybe bringing Gwen here was a bad call, he'd thought that maybe it would help cheer her up in some way, but..
03 As they were talking they'd seen someone appear in a cloak Kevin yelled to get their attention and the person laughs before walking behind a tree and vanishing having left a flower there confusing them as to who that was exactly. Kevin suggests maybe she'd vanished due to teleporter, but Ben says he feels magic coming from the flowers.
04 Charmcaster points out a carving there and asks who Verdona was exactly? Though the rest of them are confused. Ben tried to do a tracking spell but the flower wilts and he sighs in annoyance saying he must have done it wrong or something. Charmcaster says that he just needs practice and tries to do it with another flower it wilting away too. Ben then joking that apparently so did she.
05 Charmcaster tells him that it's never done that before, she can't track the person because there's nothing to track.. This did confuse them and Ben says maybe they should stake out and see if that person in the cloak comes back again to leave another flower, and if so, find out why they are doing so. Kevin questions if that was a good idea since they still had the DNAliens to deal with.
06 Ben says that they'll take turns watching the place while dealing with the DNAliens just to be on the safe side, and so we then cut to later with Ben and Kevin being on watch as they were kinda bored waiting. Though it does pay off as they see the person in the cloak making another flower and the two call out to them making the cloaked person talk.
07 Ben questions who they were as Kevin pulled down their hood revealing a woman with grey hair standing in front of them. Though the woman calls them rotton kids and then tells them to go away with a pink glow of energy appearing in her hands with the woman going to knock them back with a smirk, only have her face drop when she sees that the two were still standing and that Ben had made a large barrier shaped like a card in front of the two of them.
08 The Woman says that was interesting and begins to float before flying off away from them, and Ben fixes the cracks in his barrier before laying it flat and jumping on using it like a hoverboard to give chase while Kevin absorbed the stone under him and also tried to follow after them. The Woman turns back and sees Ben chasing her on the card and says that she hasn't had a good chase in ages.
09 Ben throws electrified cards at her managing to zap the woman and making her fly off in another direction turning to see if Ben was still chasing and bumping into Kevin as he grabs her saying that playtime was over and that she was going to tell them who she was and what she was doing there. The woman then tells him that she wasn't done playing and creates energy tendrils throwing Kevin off of her.
10 The woman says that this world would be more tolerable without troublemakers like them in it and Ben says to give it her best shot. Though she tells him he's not ready for her Best before throwing an energy disk at them with Ben making a large card behind him and swinging his arms as if he was holding a bat. Which then made the card knock the disk back at her and knock the woman down.
11 Ben then Demands to know why she was there littering his grandpa's cove with her flowers? The woman, hearing this then stands up asking him to repeat that? Ben then again asks what she was doing there at his grandfather's cove. This surprised the woman before she then got excited and hugged Ben confusing them even more now.
12 The woman introduces herself as Verdona saying that if Max was his grandfather that would make her his grandmother. Ben starts to remember something and says "That's why Grandpa Max and Azmuth used to tell me I was taking after my Grandmother." Verdona then says that she remembered Azmuth, and that he had attended their wedding asking how he was exactly? Ben says that the last time he saw them they were okay, but back to topic why has he never met her before now?
13 Verdona says that she'll explain all that later at his house and says goodbye for now vanishing into thin air. Kevin says that was weird, and Ben agreed saying that they should contact Gwen and CC about what's going on. Something that Kevin agrees with as we then cut to later with Ben at his parents' house and since he hadn't seen Verdona yet he asked his parents to talk with him for a bit.
14 The two were curious as to what was going on and Sandra, Ben's mom asks what's up exactly? Taking a deep breath Ben then shows them both the Archamada Book of Spells saying that he's had it since he was ten, and that with it he's learned different magical abilites creating a large card made of energy in front of the three of them.
15 Ben's dad Carl sat down wide eyed saying "It seems he's taken after you, right Mom?" Looking over to the side of the room as Verdona then appears saying that her boys always could tell when she was near even when she used magic to hide herself. She'd then explained to Ben that she was an Anodite, someone who has such a mastery over magic that they themself have become one with it.
16 Gwen Kevin and Charmcaster pull into the drive since Ben had asked them to come there, and Verdona started again about what an anodite is, and Charmcaster questions if it's possible for her to become one as well? To which Verdona says "My dear, anyone in the universe can become an Anodite if they work hard enough at it. Though some have an easier time than others." answering Charmcaster's question.
17 Verdona then says that the news of Max's passing had been big in the universe even reaching as far as her home planet, which confused Carl and Sandra since they hadn't heard about that. Sighing Ben then explained what happened to his parents about Grandpa Max's Sacrifice, the DNAliens everything. This did leave them in shock to hear that's what Ben had been getting up to.
18 Sandra questions when something like that became Ben's job exactly? To which Ben answers "Officially? That'd be summer of last year when I went to that training thing I was telling you guys about. It was Plumber's basic training, since I passed I became an agent of the Plumbers." this was a bit to take in hearing their son was officially a space cop as Ben Kevin and Gwen all hold up their plumber badges.
19 Verdona says that she could teach Ben to become an anodite, it'd only take about oh say, fifty years or so.. Though Ben shoots that down saying that he wanted to do things his way. She then offers the same to Charmcaster who had been able to do magic too, but she also declines. Nodding Verdona then tells them very well, but she will be back to visit again saying goodbye and vanishing.
20 Ben's parents then demand to know more while also saying that they have to tell Gwen's parents about what's going on too. This made them sigh in annoyance hearing that but sadly they didn't really have a choice in the matter and Ben says that they are still going to stop the DNAliens wheither they want him out there or not, the whole world is counting on them after all and it is his job to do so.
