There once was a Hunter who holds everything Remnant can offer Power, Wealth and Fame the man who holds this and more is a man named Gol D Roger the Huntsman King, he has brought the era of peace, before he dissapeared leaving Grimms to run free across the four kingdoms but a new generations of Hunters will raise up and one of them will rise up and take that title.

3. Chapter 3

RWBY and the Strawhat Hunter.

(Vale Police station)

"Oh, I can't believe my baby sister is coming to Beacon with me!" the blond girl hugged Ruby who gave a strained look "I can't wait for the day we go, it will be the best day, ever!".

"Yang, please stop, can't breath!" Ruby squeezed out as Yang gave one more firm squeeze before letting her go.

"Sorry, I'm still a little mad at you going to danger." she says as she gave Ruby a stern look before giving a wide smile "But I'm so proud of you!".

Ruby just shook her head "Really, Sis, it was nothing" Ruby says as they made their way out.

Yang just quirk a brow "What do you mean? It was incredible! Everyone at Beacon is going to think you're the bee's knees." Yang says with a smile.

Ruby stops and gives Yang a self conscious look "I don't want to be the "bee's knees", okay? I don't want to be any kind of knees! I just want to be a normal girl with normal knees." she says as she covers her knees.

Yang still looked confused at her, normally Ruby would be jumping in joy "What's with you? Aren't you excited?".

"Of course I'm excited... I just.." Ruby starts before she just sighs "I got moved ahead two years. I don't want people to think I'm special or anything." she says as she looks down.

Yang just gave her a side hug "But you are special." she says before hearing a commotion and laughter behind them as she looks back at Luffy and the green haired teen bantering with each other "Whose the kid?".

Ruby looks back and notice Luffy just laughed at the scary looking man who sighs at him "Oh that's Luffy." her sister snorts as Ruby looked back confused "What?".

Yang just chuckles "Loofy, really?" Yang says as she laughed a bit.

Ruby just gave Yang a disappointed look "Seriously, Yang.".

Yang calms down "Right, right, I'll behave pfft Loofy." Yang says chuckling a bit more.

Ruby waited until she's done before continuing "Anyway, he helped me with stopping a robbery, and you won't believe this but he has this weird body that is all stretchy and stuff!" she says getting Yang to look confused.

"Yeah, you're right I don't believe it." Yang says knowing Ruby does have a wild imagination sometimes.

"It's true though." Ruby says before looking back at the pair "So whose he? He came with you, so are you friends?" Ruby asked, Yang just gave a confused smile.

"Well, that's a funny story…" Yang trailed of as they both looked to the bantering pair.

[Vowing by the Sword, Roronoa Zoro's Road to the Strongest.]

(Few hours earlier.)

A ship has just docked and jumping down is Luffy who laughed with his arms out "We made it! VALE!" Luffy shouts.

"Oi, Luffy settle down you're drawing a crowd." The Green haired teen yawned as he made his way down interesting enough he only has a white katana on his side.

"Come on Zoro, we made it to Beacon!" Luffy says.

Zoro just shook his head "Moron we haven't gotten to the front door yet, at least wait until we get there." he says as he made his way to him.

Luffy just pouts "You're no fun." before he brighten up "Well let's go then." he says as he saunters off.

Zoro sighs as he follows lost in thought.

(Flash back)

"You're weak as ever, Zoro." A girl says as she looks down at a young Zoro who wore a green gi with a red crossed sword emblem on his chest, Zoro glares at the girl who is slightly older than him she is a fair skinned girl with a short, dark blue hair and large, dark eyes. She wore a light pink short-sleeved shirt with a three-buttoned placket that she left unbuttoned, dark maroon shorts, and brown shoes.

"Shit, I lost again!" Zoro says as he sits up as he glares at her "Next time, next time for sure I'm going to finally beat you! Kuina!" he says getting her to smile.

HONK!

(Back to the present.)

Zoro looks up as the car kept honking "Hey get out of the road you bum!" the man yelled, Zoro looks to the man causing him to shrink back in his car coughing a bit "If you don't mind….Please?" the man squeaked.

"Sorry." Zoro says before he starts to walk across the road with the car quickly speeding off "Huh, must've being in a hurry." Zoro says before he walked across the streets as he glance down at his lone sword 'Kuina...I swear I'll have my name be known even to the heavens.'he mentally vowed as he thinks about how he lost his other swords.

(Flash back Mistral tournament.)

A large man who uses a hammer brings it down at Zoro who dash up to the man who flinch from the unexpected charge before he was sent flying out of the ring [And there we have it another victory for our green haired fighter!] the announcer exclaimed all while Zoro sighs before making his way back to the waiting room.

"That is impressive." a female says getting his attention seeing the favorite for the championship she is a tall muscular teen with a long red hair done up in a waist-length ponytail, curled slightly into a loose ringlet. She also wore light-green eyeshadow around the far upper corners of her green eyes. She wears a brown overbust corset with a vertical strip of lighter brown in the center. She also wears an elastic, black, A-line mini skirt and brown opera-length gloves on both arms.

She wears a red ankle-length sash that wrapped around her skirt, she has small circular bronze plate on her right hip opposite two pouches with both connected to a belt. The plate bore her emblem. Underneath her hair, she always wore a brown circlet adorned with a pair of small, green, teardrop-shaped emeralds on thin chains. She also sported a large bronze gorget around her neck and a bronze bracelet on the upper half of her left arm. She has elaborate bronze greaves that started below her mid-thigh before continuing downwards into her boots as well as a pair of cuisses that began mid-thigh and ended slightly above her knees, She's equipped with a bronze bracer on her left arm and her high-heeled boots were brown with bronze trim, matching her skirt and sleeves and reaching up to mid-calf.

Zoro just shook his head "Not really, I've only used one sword there." he says looking bored at the lack of challenge.

The red head just gave him a challenging look "Then I'll just have to make you use all your swords then." she says as he gave her a confused look "You're the strongest fighter in our age group." she explained as she gave a competitive look to him "That makes us rivals, so when we fight I want you to come at me with everything you got." she says determined and even seeming to be looking forward to it.

[Next up is our very own champion Pyrrha Nikos!] Pyrrha looks up before giving Zoro a competitive look "I'll see you in the finals." she says before running off for her fight.

Zoro just raised a brow before he continue on his way to his room 'I'm only here for the prize money to buy those shitty tickets.' he thought as he kept walking it took awhile but Zoro finally found a door and once he walks through did he realize he is in another part of town "Damn it, where am I now." he looks around before he walked another directions "Maybe this way.".

It didn't take long until Zoro kept walking around in confusion and he finds himself in the same place again "Shit why is this place so damn confusing, I'm gonna miss my fight at this rate." he says as he hurried off only to run back to where he started "Damn it where is the tournament?" he says as he scratched his head.

"Oi! Your that green haired prick who beat up my little brother?" someone says as Zoro looks back and see a group of rough looking men all holding weapons out "You got a lot of nerve to be standing here, outside of the view to the public, seriously, you might either have balls of steel or you are seriously lost." a large fat man in a brown bandanna and jacket says getting Zoro to twitch a bit "But I'm a forgiving man, you see I lost 50 000 lien on my brother winning, but some bozo just, not only beat him he beat him with one slash." he then looks at Zoro with a greedy grin "So I'm gonna get my money back and insurance for my little brother's self esteem." he says as he points his cleaver blade at him "So you better pay me back, if you don't have the cash then that sword would suffice.".

Zoro glares at the men with an eerie red glow shining in his eyes causing the thugs to step back some regretting following the big guy "Huh?" Zoro looks to them causing some to runaway.

"H-Hey where do you think your going!" He shouts before scoffing "Bunch of cowards, I'll get them after this." he looks to the others "You all better follow me or else I'm gonna show you why no one mess with Bunta Pigmont." he claimed and seeing Zoro's wide eyed look, he smirks thinking he knows whose name it belong to.

"….Your seriously called Pigman?" Zoro asked giving the man a pitying look.

Many snorts can be heard as Bunta's face just turn red in both anger and embarrassment "It's PIGMONT you bastard! My family literally built this town brick by brick!" he shouts before turning around showing a pig in a brick house in a logo with the word [Pigmont brick house, no wind or Grimm will come for your chinny chin chin.] "If it weren't for my family the town would be over run with Grimm so you better respect the name!" he says.

"Heeh." Zoro says looking blankly.

"YOUR TRYING TO PISS ME OFF, HUH!?" Bunta snaps as he glares "Forget the money after laughing at my name I'll personally rip you to shreds." he snaps before pointing his cleaver at him "Get him!".

Zoro just shakes his head before unsheathing his sword and bats away one of the thugs sword only to be knocked into another as Zoro slash into another thug cutting his club to the handle before another slash cut him down, Zoro is just hacking his way through the group causing many people to be launched into walls and into windows along with one being a tavern.

In the Tavern people ducked away as a thug flew through the window and crashing into a table that was seated by a pale skinned man with black hair, a short beard, mustache and sideburns that point upwards he wears a black and red ornate clothing with a crucifix pendant around his neck. His attire consists of a wide-brimmed black hat decorated with a large plume, and a long, open black coat with a red velvet inside with no shirt underneath, with red, flower-patterned sleeves and collar. He wears light purple pants held up by a decorated belt and tucked inside overly large black boots.

The man lift his head showing the groaning man a golden stare before glancing to where he came from, standing up the man walked toward the commotion while grabbing a large sword with a black blade and walked out.

Zoro manage to fling another man toward Bunta's feet who growls at the lone swordsman who single handedly took down his gang "Damn it, enough with this!" he shouts as he and many of his group pulled out or change their weapons into guns and points at him "I notice during the match and here that you don't have a gun on you." he smirks at him "You don't have dusts or a gun mode, you only have those antiques on your hip as your only weapon!" he says as Zoro silently glares "Meaning all we have to do is waste you right now.." Bunta says gleefully as he got ready to fire before a swinging door open between them.

Walking through the door is the same pale man glaring at the group and Zoro as he stood between them.

"Hey get the hell out of here old man or else you want to be riddled with holes!" Bunta shouts out while Zoro's eyes widen at the man standing between them "Are you deaf? I said move!" Bunta says as he fires his shot gun at the man.

The man unsheathe his blade and points to Bunta and with a delicate shift redirect the bullet to veer into each other ricocheting the slugs away from him and into the walls leaving the others to looked confused.

"What happened I just shot him and all he did is point his sword out?" Bunta said completely baffled.

"He changed the bullets trajectory with just the tip of his sword." he heard Zoro say as Zoro looked at the man with a predatory smile on his face with a hint of nervousness "I've never seen someone handle a sword so gently, his control is even more impressive than the rumors.".

The man just sighs as he sheaths the blade "A swordsman who treats his blade with no control is no different than a monkey with a metal stick." he says mostly bored by the attack

Bunta didn't believe what Zoro says as he marched up to the man "Who do you think you're messing with huh?".

The man just gave him a cold look "A group of unruly brats who ruined my lunch." he says as he glares at them "And causing a ruckus, so I've come out to handle this problem before it gets troublesome." the man says.

Bunta's face just grew red in anger "Who are you calling a problem! Who the hell are you!?" he points angrily at the man.

"Hawkeye." Zoro says as the man looks to Zoro getting many of Bunta's group to looked scared "The strongest swordsman on Remnant a man who stands at the top of the world." Zoro says as he took his bandanna off his left arm.

Bunta just gave a confused look while Hawkeye gave Zoro a knowing look, all while Bunta's group starts to run dragging any unconscious thug with them "Hey where do you think your going you bunch of bums! I know where you live!" he shouts leaving Bunta, Zoro and Hawkeye in the middle of the street.

Both swordsman ignored the fat man as Zoro walks up to the man as he's tying his bandanna on his head "I've been looking for you for a while now." Zoro says as he tightens his bandanna.

Hawkeye just stares at him with a tired look 'another runt.' he thought as Zoro stood across from him "And what do you hope for when you find me?".

"To take your title." Zoro states as he pulled his white sword out of his sheath and points it at him in a challenge.

Hawkeye just gave him a bored look "Ridiculous, a weakling hoping to glance at the strongest, just looking at how we hold our swords is enough to judge how far in skill we stand." he says as he looks to Zoro who pulled out his other swords "Is it arrogance that you think you can point your blade at me, is it bravery that gave you the confidence to challenge me…. Or is it ignorance?" Hawkeye finished.

Zoro just placed the white sword in his mouth as he looks to Hawkeye with glowing red eyes "It's my ambition to beat you." he says somehow not muffled as he got in a ready stance "And it's my promise that I will achieve it." Zoro glares.

(Back to the present)

Zoro looks around before a man in a suit flew at him by instinct Zoro cuts the man causing him to fly through the walls, Zoro sighs before noticing he's in a different place but also notice someone missing "That idiot, did he get himself lost?" he said to himself as he scratched his head in frustration.

"Uh, I'm pretty sure you just walked in here." a female voice says behind him he just shrugs and walked of somewhere hoping he finds Luffy before he cause more trouble "WHERE DID YOU GO!?" he heard before making his way out of the club, not that he realized it.

(Flash back)

Zoro glares at the man who hasn't move or drawn his weapon "It was actually sooner than I thought I would come across you, I don't know whether this is fortunate or not but I'm not gonna pass up the chance." Zoro glares.

Hawkeye just looks bored at him "How futile." he says but knowing the types that challenge him he obliged the dual, however he won't be using his sword as he took off his pendant.

Zoro glares "What's that for?" he says as Hawkeye pulled the pendant apart revealing a small thin dagger.

"I'm not the kind of fool who hunts rabbits with a cannon. You might be strong but you are still no better than a bunny." Hawkeye explained but he looked somewhat apologetic "However, I don't carry any smaller knife so apologies for being too much for you.".

Zoro grits his teeth as he rush toward the strongest "Don't regret going easy on me! Or else I'll take your HEAD!".

Hawkeye just waited for Zoro to come closer with a calm look "Little frog whose stuck in a well, learn how vast the world truly is.".

Zoro crossed his blades as he focus on where he should cut "ONI…" he says before unleashing his all three swords to cut down Hawkeye "GIRI!" only for all three blades to stop from one tiny knife Zoro looked at the knife in shock as he tried with all his might to push the blade forward.

Bunta just stared in shock he knows how strong Zoro is he made it to the finals after all, but this Hawkeye guy just stopped all those blades with one tiny knife, he suddenly feels like he's in another world that he shouldn't be in "What's with these guys how is that guy stopping that punks three swords!".

'It won't budge! No one has ever countered this technique but he stopped it with that little knife..' Zoro thought as he looks to Hawkeye with a look of disbelief 'It can't be, there can't be this much...this much of a gap between us!' with a roar Zoro pulls back and rush into a full assault 'Am I really that small frog!?' a right slash, gets parried, a downward slash, get batted away, an upward swing, slid off harmlessly, Zoro's slashes become more hectic, less controlled and more wild 'Trapped in that well while he soars the skies!?'.

Hawkeye just nonchalantly parry Zoro's assault "Such heavy handed sword play…" he commented as the sound of metal meeting metal rang from the two.

Zoro kept up the assault losing himself in the flurry of his swings 'To be toyed around like a child!? I didn't come all this way to lose.' "I came to win!" he thought back to his promise as he and the girl clasp hands as they vowed "I'll defeat you and make my name be known to the heavens!".

Hawkeye just stares at him "What drives you? Why do you fight me when you know you can't win. A weakling like you should know your limit." Zoro lunge his sword as he tries to stab him but Hawkeye side steps him and with a swift move he chops Zoro behind the neck causing him to fall into the ground.

Zoro with labored breath he picked himself up and placing his blades over and behind the one in his mouth "TORA.." he thought back to those times he trained himself until a man in a straw hat appears 'Heeeeh! You want to be the strongest swordsmen huh? Than as the man who will be the Huntsman King-' "GARI!".

Everything went silent as Zoro stops in place as his eyes are hidden in shadows as he looks forward with Hawkeye's knife now stabbed into his chest, after a long pause Hawkeye gave Zoro a quizzical look "Why don't you retreat? Do you want me to pierce your heart?" he asked.

"I..can't.." Zoro coughed out as he look the man who stabbed him in the eyes "I feel like..if I take even one step back..my vows, my ambitions...and everything I worked for will vanish...and my dreams would forever be out of reach." he says as blood drips down from his mouth to his jaw.

"Yes, That is defeat." Hawkeye answered for him as he looked into Zoro's eyes not seeing any fear.

Zoro coughed up more blood but stood still "Then I can't retreat.".

"Even if it means you die?" he says seeing Zoro's eyes glowed red.

"I prefer to die than to lose." he says with a smile.

'What a powerful spirit, preferring death than giving up or taste defeat.' Hawkeye thought as he pulled the knife out of Zoro who stumbled abit but still stand firm "Young man… Speak your name." the man says as he took some steps back.

Zoro knowing this would be it one attack to see who will stand "Roronoa-" he placed his swords in front of him "Zoro!".

Hawkeye nods "I'll remember it, It's been years since I've met someone worth facing." he says as he unsheathed his black sword "I will honor your resolve and cut you down with this black blade." he says as he took a stance.

Zoro starts to spin his blade spinning it faster and faster 'This is my last chance...to win or die… the greatest in the world…or death.' he focused as much strength he can muster "Santouryu Ougi…" he says as Hawkeye lunge forward with Zoro meeting his charge "SANZENSEKAI!" both stopped behind each other after a moment of silence blood gush out of the scars he's gain as both swords in his hands shattered 'I've lost...it's over...huh?' he coughed out blood as he took the white sword out of his mouth 'I couldn't even see it…' he then sheaths the sword 'That's the world strongest sword.' he then stands up then turn around with his arms held out surprising Hawkeye.

"What are you…" he says confused.

Zoro just gave a bloody smile "A wound on the back is a swordsman's shame.".

Hawkeye smiled back impressed "Well said." he then slash Zoro's chest as blood sprays from the scar throwing Zoro back and onto the ground.

"ZORO!"

(Back to the present )

More people were flung in the air as Zoro looked around himself trying to find the exit "Someone seem to be lost, Melanie." "He's kinda cute Miltia." Zoro looks to the two to see twins one in white well the other in red who seems to blush at his attention.

Melanie is a girl in her teenage years. Having black hair and green eyes, she wears a white dress with a cyan tint in some places and white shoes with blades attached at the heels. She also wears a flower hairpin, a white scarf, white gloves, "wings", a silver belt, and makeup.

Miltia is a similar age to her sister and with similar eyes and hair but wears a red dress, gloves, and boots. She also wears feathers above her ear.

"Sorry, I'm looking for the exit." he says as he's still looking for the exit.

Miltia seems to droop a bit "Do you have to leave?" she asked while her sister rolled her eyes.

"Miltia, stop making that look." Melanie just sighs while her sister quickly stands up straighter.

"I'm sorry, Melanie." Miltia says before perking up with a thought "Maybe we can escort you to the exit." she says as she wraps her arm around Zoro with both Zoro and Melanie gave her a raised brow look.

Zoro was about to decline but she gave him a pleading look so he kinda sighs "Fine just get me to the exit." he says getting her to smile while her sister eye rolled at her twin.

It didn't take long to find the exit but a commotion called for the twins attention so they quickly left him as he made his way out and in another store he can see the walls covered in many weapons and parts 'perfect I'm still looking for some new swords.' he says as he looked over the price and gawks 'Expensive! Shit and I only 1000 lien on me.' he scratched his head in frustration.

"Oh my sir, you must be a renowned Huntsman! Are you looking for anything particular." A balding man asked as he rubs his hands together.

"Ah, yeah I'm looking for some swords to replace the ones I lost." Zoro says before glancing back at the swords on display "Unfortunately I only 1000 on me so do you have anything in that price range.".

The shop owner blinked before huffing "What so your just a cheapskate, you can look in the bargain bin." he waved off Zoro before noticing the sword on his hip "Mm? Mmm? MMMMmm!?" he slams his hands on the table getting Zoro's attention "E-E-E-E-Excuse m-m-m-e m-m-m-may I s-s-s-see that s-s-s-s-sword?" he asked stuttering.

Zoro raised a brow as he looks at the man "Whats with you." but the man kept begging him to see the sword getting on his nerve "Alright, alright just stop asking." he hands the man his sword and once he unsheathe it he starts to give his sword a weird look.

The man just looked to the blade with greedy eye's 'C-C-Calm down, It's likely this moron might've just happened on this sword, this might be a good opportunity I just have to convince him to give it to me.' he thought as he gave a hidden grin before looking back at Zoro with a professional look "It's a piece of junk you might as well throw it away, I'm willing to tak-"

"Huh?" Zoro grabbed the mans shirt giving him a glare scaring the shop owner.

"-I'm sorry, I was lying." the owner admitted immediately before pulling himself back "I know your broke so I'll propose an offer. This sword is certainly isn't a piece of junk but it's also isn't a masterpiece either but it's still an above average sword so I'll offer 300,000 lien for this sword, which means you can afford at least some replacement you want." he offers.

"What're you going on about?" Zoro questioned as he gave the man a confused look.

"E-Eh? Is it not enough then how about 500,000 instead?" the owner offers but seeing the impassive look on Zoro's face he might need to hike the price "You drive a hard bargain than I'll buy it for 650,000 lien how bout that!?" 'Now he just needs to take the bait!'.

Zoro just sighs "Listen, I'm not selling that sword no matter how much yo-" "AAAAAH! This sword! Could it be!?" a female voice interrupting them and when Zoro looked to her he froze.

The woman who is a little older is a tall short dark blue haired woman wearing a yellow buttoned short sleeved shirt with pink flower designs all over it, she wears blue jeans and black shoes, she pulled her red rimmed glasses up showing her face to be similar to someone who Zoro knew years ago 'Kuina?'.

"This is Wado Ichimonji isn't it!?" the woman says as she examine it.

Zoro looked to her "Wado?" Zoro asked he never knew the sword was a named sword not like he asked sensei for it's name.

"Wow, the blade is so beautiful and the edge you can tell it's cut so many things but there is no sign of chipping or deterioration on the edge!" the woman starts to geek over it.

The owner starts to sweat nervously "Y-Y-Y-Yes.. I-It does h-h-happen to have a name…. But it's still just a decent sword at best…" the man tries to weasel his way to still get the sword.

The woman looked aghast "Decent!? Why, That's ridiculous! This is one of the 21 great grade swords that was forged from old Mistral, these swords was used by the great warriors from the long lost capital Wano!" she even pulled out a book showing the famous blade on the page "Just look over here, this sword is far from decent and it takes no less than a few million of lien to buy a sword of this caliber!".

The owner slams the table "Damn it woman! You've gone and told him everything! I should sue you for obstructing my business!" he shouts getting the woman to look confused.

"Wha!? Obstructing your business? I'm sorry, did I say something wrong?" she says not knowing why the man is angry "I just that.. I've never seen a famous sword like that before so I-".

"You've come to pick up your "Shigure" right!?" the man cut her off as he pulled out a white katana that has a green handle and a green guard with a four-petaled design. The sheath is elaborate, with the first half being a green and bumpy design, while the second half is white and smooth. There are circular designs embedded on the entire sheath. He then tossed the sword to her who looked surprised by the unexpected toss "Here, it's been polished so take it and get out of here!"

The woman was struggling to grab hold of her sword, so much so that while she is trying to catch her sword she tripped over her own legs and trips into one of the display causing swords to fall around her thankfully they were sheathed "The heck are you falling around for!? Put those back in their place and get out!" the owner than looked to Zoro now annoyed that he can't buy his sword cheap just points to him "Looks like you got lucky because of that nosy girl, It's exactly as she says and it's a damn shame that a guy like you who doesn't seem to know the true value of that sword is it's owner!" he scoffs before pointing to the sides "Go back to those bins get your sword and get out!".

Zoro just huffs but made his way to the bin, giving a glance at the woman who is trying to put the swords back 'She couldn't be her, she's gone.' Zoro thought as he starts to dig around the cheap swords looking around before noticing something there's a creepy feeling, pulling the sword out of the bin he sees a deep red sheathed sword its tsuba is golden and shaped like a rounded cross pattée, the hilt is wrapped reddish-brown, with a golden clasp around its middle and a golden kashira pommel. The sheath of the sword is deep red and continues the design of the hilt, having two golden clasps in short succession around its middle, and the kojiri end cap also being golden "This is…".

Hearing Zoro they looked and were surprised one in astonishment at seeing another great sword while the other has a bit of fear in his eyes.

"That sword if I've seen that sword in the book." the woman quickly digs out her book and finding the page and when she did she looked to Zoro with some excitement "It's Sandai Kitetsu! You should definitely buy the sword!" she says before looked to the owner "Mister are you really selling the sword for only a 100,000?" she asked as the man just gave a hesitant nod "Amazing, that sword is worth a million lien at least, a high grade sword like that for only a 100,000, it's predecessor "Nidai Kitetsu" is a great grade blade while "Shodai Kitetsu" is a supreme blade! Getting a blade this cheap is almost unheard off!" she finished.

"I won't sell that sword!" the owner shouts, getting both peoples attention.

"What!? But why?" the woman asked confused by how strongly the owner refuse to sell the sword.

Zoro unsheathes the blade as he examined the moderately curved katana with a white edge and a distinct blue hamon that has the appearance of flames on it, he can feel a disturbing aura leaking from the blade "It's a cursed sword." Zoro stated getting both to looked surprised by what Zoro says.

"You knew?" the owner asked.

"No, I can feel it…" Zoro says not looking away from Sandai's blade.

The owner a little impressed gave them a grim look "...It's like you said. Beginning with Shodai Kitetsu, the Kitetsu line of swords were renowned for their incredible quality, but they also carry a dangerous curse! Many famous and renowned swordsman in the past suffered tragic ends after carrying those swords, many great Huntsmen and infamous Bandits were driven to their deaths by wielding those blades." he then gave them a grave look "That's why no one will willingly carry those swords, and even if they carry it unaware of the curse they will meet a horrifying death.".

The woman looked shocked by the news as the owner looked down in regret "I honestly want to get rid of that blade, but I'm too afraid of the curse, I won't even touch it in fear that the curse would affect me." the man finished.

"F-Forgive me! I had no idea it was such a terrifying sword." the woman starts bowing in apology to Zoro "And I ended up saying such foolish things.".

The man scoffs at the woman saying that she was an amateur who pretends to be an expert, awhile Zoro finished examining the blade he smirks "I like it, I'll take it." he says getting both to look at him stunned by his decision.

The owner begged Zoro from doing anything rash even trading another blade so Zoro's life won't be on his hands, Zoro looked to him "Then how about this?" he says stopping the man as he and the woman looked to him "My luck or the curse. Which is stronger?" Zoro says as he tossed the blade into the air getting both people to look terrified at what he's doing "If I lose…." he stretched his arm out under the falling blade "Than that means I was just a man that never meant to hold it." he finished as he closed his eyes.

'Don't be hasty, Young man, It's too early for you to die, learn of yourself, learn of the world and become strong.' Zoro remembered a blurry memory back when he lost his fight to Hawkeye, he remember Luffy holding him up glaring at the man 'My name is Dracule Mihawk! Get stronger! Than come challenge me again, come and take my title!'.

Zoro opened his eyes smirking as his arms are still intact and Sandai hilt deep in the ground "I'll take it." he says causing the owner to fall back as he looked stunned by what Zoro did as the teen pulled the sword from the ground "Hey! Can you pick one more sword for me." he asked the woman who snapped out of her stunned state and nods as she looks around for a suitable sword.

The owner couldn't believe what he saw, someone who willingly bet his life on a cursed sword someone of this caliber maybe he.. "W-Wait just a moment!" the owner shouted standing up and ran upstairs getting both Zoro and the woman to look to each other confused.

After a while the man stumbles back almost tripping down the stairs and once he made it back to the counter he placed down an expensive looking sword "This is a black lacquered long sword with an unrivaled blade, It's name is "Yubashiri" it's one of the 50 fine grade swords! I can attest the quality of the sword." the man presented a long katana with a black handle. It had a cross-shaped guard and a black lacquered sheath, the sheath and the handle both had thin yet elaborate gold designs on them. "Though my store may not be much, this sword is the best item I own.".

"That's a nice sword but I'm practically broke so I can't afford it." Zoro says as he looked to the sword.

The owner looked to Zoro's eyes "I'm not asking you to buy it." he says getting his attention "I'm giving it to you, and I won't ask you to pay for Sandai Kitetsu either, I apologize for trying to trick you before, it's been a long time I've seen someone who carry themselves like a true swordsman like you, a sword chooses it's owner and Sandai chose you." the man points out as he picked up Yubashiri and handed it to Zoro "So I'm handing this sword to you, I'll also put my trust in your luck and pray for your good fortune." he gives the sword to Zoro and sending him off.

Zoro wordlessly takes the sword and made his way out feeling more comfortable now with the weight of three swords hung on his right hip, he looks down at the swords and focused on Wado Ichimonji as he remembered how he swore not only to his best friend on this sword but also a man he chose to follow.

Zoro holds Wado Ichimonji in the air as he struggled to breath as Luffy looked down at him "L-Luffy… did I worry you?" he says as he coughed up some blood as he looks up to the sky "Sorry about that….I know, that if I...can't be the strongest...than I can't stand with you on your ambition." Zoro's eyes starts to tear up as frustration build inside him "So, I swear to you." Zoro grit his teeth as his eyes flickered red for a second "That I will never lose from now on! Until the day I fight him and win...I swear I will never lose again!" he shouts out as he looks up with determined red eyes "Any problem with that… HUNTSMEN KING!" he cried as he swore another vow onto the sword.

(Present day)

As Zoro is lost in his memory he walked past Yang who looked as he made his way to the alley….. "Wasn't that the guy from before?" she says as she made her way to her bike Bumblebee she looks back to see Zoro walked out of the alley and down the street….. and coming from the other side and back into the alley "What is he doing?" she watched as he came from somewhere else and made his way ….back to the alley "Don't tell me…..he's lost isn't he…" Yang shook her head and made her way to the alley maybe she can help him find his way…..right?
