Chapter 3: Alliance

"Well, we certainly have a more…lively group now, wouldn't you say Wily?" Eggman smirked, arms crossed in his seat as he looked across the table the two doctors had set up for themselves and their new adversaries.
"That is certainly a way to put it, Eggman. Though today is just full of firsts for me. First we solve multidimensional travel. And now I'm talking to a dragon and a turtle." Wilys eyes slowly shift away from his fellow scientist to far more savage looking guests in his base.
To his left, a downright giant turtle, at least by Wily's standards, green spiked shell on his back, yellow body, horns with red hair, sharp teeth on display as his arms are folded, a deep guttural chuckle coming from the turtle, some light smoke emerging from between his fangs.
To his right, the one Wily was more concerned by, was an even bigger entity, a towering, albeit skinny, purple dragon, boney wings raised behind its back, and a long, skeletal tail ending in a rather sharp tip, currently embedded in the floor. The beast almost seemed to resemble a pterodactyl in stature, its face long with rows of viciously sharp teeth, talons resting for now on top of the table as the dragon had somehow managed to get itself into one of Wily's seats, much to his surprise.
Well, whatever these two are, they're smarter than I would have given them credit for Wily mused to himself, not wanting to also forget about the third one the two had picked up in their dimensional travels. His attention turned back to his left, as beside the turtle, there sat a more reasonable figure in Wily's vision. A tall man with dark skin, hair a burnt orange with some sort of headpiece adorning his forehead. He wore a mix of brown and black armor, gauntlets adorning his hands and a red cape resting on his shoulders. His hands were clasped together as he sat with his back against the chair, yellow eyes seeming to be sizing up the others, not a word escaping his lips.
"While I do enjoy sitting here and basking in the rather obviously evil energy we all seem to have concentrated in here, it's probably for the best that we get down to business gentlemen." Eggman said, breaking the silence, and getting the other fours attention. He pulls out a pair of red metal boxes, a microphone at the end of each of them, and slides them across the long table, as they stop in front of the turtle and dragon. "With these we should be able to hear both of you clearly without issue. Just speak into the microphone and they'll translate what you're saying and produce the audio. I made sure to pic what I imagine would be suitable voices for the both of you."
The turtle was first, having reached down and picked up the microphone off his respective boss, thumping his fist against his chest like he was clearing his throat. The other four leaned in curiously, as he seemed to be coughing to prepare, before finally producing a sound for the device. "GRAAAAH!"
"Testing, Testing, Is this weird magic box working?" The box translated, produced in an equally low, growl-like voice. The others eyes widened, including Eggman, as he wasn't expecting such a well thought out response from the turtle. "GAHAHA! Graaaaawr"
"Man, the looks on your faces was priceless! Now, introductions are in order, right? I am the King of the Koopas, Bowser." Bowser proclaimed proudly, chest puffed out as he finished, red bushy eyebrows furrowing as he seemed rather cocky announcing his royal title, leaning back in his seat, spiked shell making the chair creak, much to Wily's chagrin. "Graaaah?" "Now, whats his deal?" Bowser asked, pointing a claw across the table at the dragon in his sights.
Well, we are about to find that out. But if its as impressive of a title as King, we might have hit the jackpot on new adversaries Eggman rationed, sights shifting over to the dragon as its talons reached down, lifting up the microphone with surprising delicacy. The four observers lean in once again, curious if they'll get the same amount of eloquence that surprised them as Bowser, when…
"SCRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" A piercing scream roars out from the beast, causing the others to cover their ears in alarm, the sound almost deafening. "Good LORD, use your inside screaming!" Wily cried out, having nearly fallen out of his chair as the translator started to bring up what the dragon was supposedly saying.
"THIS is how you make an introduction, boys. Now, you may refer to me as Ridley, Leader of the Space Pirates. We bring terror across the galaxy, and no one can escape our wrath!" The device translated, somehow making the voice itself sound like it was a few steps removed from screaming while still sounding menacing.
"Space Pirates? Fascinating…" Eggman mused, a finger running along his chin as he kept a mental note of that We were so set on conquering our worlds, but we could be going so much further if he is to be believed. "We've got a King, genius scientists, and now a Space Pirate here. Truly, this is much more promising than anything I may have anticipated"
"Scraaaaaaaaaaaaaa" Ridley retorted, deciding for now to preserve what hearing may have survived out of the others. "Sounds like a promising amount of potential in this rag-tag group. But what of you, tall, dark and menacing? You've been silent, and you don't need the tech to be understood like us" The dragon gave as much of a grin as his menacing face could amount to as the armor clad warrior slammed his fist on the arm of his chair, his other fist just below his chin as he sat up to speak.
"Ganondorf. King of the Gerudo in the land of Hyrule. You people seem rather advanced with your science, but where I'm from, it's magic that reigns supreme." He demonstrated as such, holding up his clenched fist as a ball of light began to form above it, getting some slack jawed reactions from the others. Smirking at their faces, Ganon turned his attention to a nearby Mettaur, one that didn't seem to notice his presence, as he sent the energy ball flying toward it, blasting the machine with it, nothing left of the little robot once the light clears from the impact.
"M-My Mett!" Wily cried out in alarm, before stopping. "...Eh, I've got thousands of the little guys, one is replaceable. But still, rather impressive power. And to think, today I've learned dragons are real, and can be space pirates, turtles can be kings, and magic is not only real, but in some worlds, the ultimate form of power." Wily let out a laugh, knowing a man of lesser intellect than him would have never recovered from such revelations all in quick succession, but his genius was willing to accept the otherwise outlandish from such an experiment as interdimensional travel.
"True, besides, one little Mett is nothing compared to the myriad of potential troops we could all amass" Eggman replied, getting back to the matter at hand. "As you three know, the two of us have unlocked perhaps the most powerful technology any of us have ever seen. The power to cross dimensions into entirely alien worlds of our own." He stood up while saying this, gloved hands slamming down on the table to further emphasize the gravity of what they have uncovered.
"With this technology at our disposal, and our common goals of domination, be they global, or even beyond that, we wish to propose a solution to our continued struggles. An Alliance of Evil, one that can combine our forces and unleash them upon our adversaries, overwhelming them with foes they've never seen before and will have no time to prepare a counterattack to! What do you all say, will you join us?"
The two doctors waited in silence, as the three sat there, lost in thought. Bowser was first to respond, letting out a hearty 'GRAAAAAAAAWR' of approval, no translation emerging, just the turtle's roar and a nod of his head. Ridley followed suit, standing up and nearly colliding with the ceiling, having to hunch over as the beast roared out its support as well, being merciful and keeping the screaming to a reasonable hearing level. Finally, it was Ganondorf's turn.
"You two must have gone through countless defeats to resort to breaking reality itself to get the upper hand. But I am not above those who are persistent, I welcome it. Show me this is worth the decision, and you will have my support. Now let us bring ruin to all that oppose us."
