After a long day of concerts, photo shoots and autograph signing, Sonic, Manic and Sonia were exhausted. Being a star isn't easy.
Sonic: Man, I'm so tired. It feels like I can't even get a break for a run.
Manic: Well, brace yourself because we have an even busier week coming up.
Sonic: Don't remind me. This week was hard enough.
Manic: Hehe. Hey, where's Sonia?
Sonic: She probably decide to turn in early. [Yawns] To be honest, I'm in the same boat. I'm going to bed too. G'night, Man.
Manic: See you in the morning, Bro.
Everyone went to bed, however in the middle of the night, Sonic woke up to a scream coming from Sonia's room. And he went to check on her. When he opened the door, he found Sonia curled up in bed rocking herself back and forth.Sweat and tears rolling down her face. Sonic realized that Sonia was having a breakdown. He ran to her and sat down on the bed.
Sonic: Sonia, what's wrong? Are you ok?
But Sonia just shook her head and cried. Sonic immediately picked her up and put her down his lap. He started rocking her and ran his hand through her quills.
Sonic: Shhhh...Shh Shhhh. It's ok, Sis. It's ok. It's alright. I'm here now. I've gotcha.
Sonia: S-Sonic, I...I can't handle it anymore!
Sonic: Shhhh...I know, Sis. I know...I know. It's ok. It's alright. You're ok. I'm here.
Suddenly, Sonia's cries turned into hard coughs. She got out of bed and ran to the bathroom. Sonic followed her. When she reached to bathroom, Sonia leaned in front of the toilet and threw up everything inside of her. Sonic started slowly rubbing her back in small circles a few times as he watched his sister vomit. Once she was finished, Sonia wrapped her arms around Sonic and cried on his shoulder. Sonic just returned the hug.
Sonic: Shhhh...easy. It's ok. You're ok now. I'm here.
Sonia: S-Sonic...Sonic...
Sonic: Shh shh shhh...I know I know. It's ok. Sonic's gotcha.
Just then Manic came in to the bathroom. He heard the commotion and came to check on Sonia. When he saw Sonia he went and joined the hug. After an hour, Sonia finally calmed down.
Manic: Feeling better, Sis?
Sonia: [Sniff] Y-Yeah.
Sonic: Good. Now please. Tell us what's wrong.
Sonia: I guess it was just too much stress with all this stuff happened recently. How we finally met our father and...
Sonic: Yeah. We know. I never should've brought him into our lives in the first place. So it's partly my fault that your losing it more than normal.
Manic: Why didn't you tell us about dad before he came to try and ruin our lives?
Sonic: I didn't want him to tear our family apart. I didn't want to get anywhere near us. I...I... I'm so sorry, guys.
Sonia: Sonic...don't worry about him. He's gone now. But it's still painful to remember that day.
Manic: Well, At least it's over now. Let's just get back to sleep and try to get our minds off that night.
So everyone went back to there rooms. However, Sonia couldn't get back to sleep.
Sonic: You gonna be ok, Sis?
Sonia: Y-Yeah. I think so.
But Sonic wasn't buying it.
Sonic: You clearly had something on your mind.
Sonia: No. I just can't sleep now.
Sonic: if you want you can sleep with me.
Sonia: Really?
Sonic: Sure. But just for tonight, ok?
Sonia: Thank you, Sonic.
Sonic: Of course. I'm always here for you.
