WARNING! ️- Creepy and unsettling moments!

As my consciousness began to wake up, I felt myself in an uncomfortable position. Did I fall asleep on my desk? This is new... I never fell asleep on my desk before... And now my back hurts from leaning on it.

Strangely enough, it felt like there was hardly any space on my desk... oh wait, I don't always have room on my desk so what am I saying? I groan tiredly while I sit up to stretch my arms and back, mainly my back.

I tiredly rubbed my sleepy eyes before they slowly opened. I should get some... sleep... Uh-

My first reaction was quite amusing; I was met with a wooden board stander with drawings, dark brick walls, stuff like a coffee cup, pencils, a red and yellow ball, a lamp, a silver old fashion key, books- a lot of stuff that I did not recognize...

I scan my surroundings.

"What the hell? " I thought.

The room is dimmed which makes things seem a touch spooky. I could tell that it was nighttime.

Rotate the black desk chair in a circular motion (to help me look around better).

There's another desk behind me that has a bunch of stuff on it, some file cabinets, a mirror that's hanging up on the brick wall near my way out of this unrecognisable room... I then looked back at the drawing to notice that it was a picture of a cute, classic cartoon of a devil with only a tie and gloves. It seemed like it was on some sort of animated paper... Interesting, this character looks familiar...

My hazel eyes glance to the right to see another drawing, three characters; an angel with no wings but tiny horns and a halo, a humanoid wolf wearing overalls and the last is the same demon character...

I thought hard about how I recognised these characters.

It feels like I've seen them before...

Unexpectedly, I gasped when I finally recalled who they were! I jumped off the chair out of shock as it caused the desk chair to wheel away.

"That's Bendy The Dancing Demon, Boris The Wolf and Alice Angel! No way!.. I know I didn't draw them... Wait a minute... This can't be," Oh, it is.

I'm in Bendy and the Dark Revival, but how is that possible? I know for a fact that I was at home and doing... drawing I think, or was it something else? I honestly don't remember anything.

"... This can't be good..." Yeah, it's pretty cool to be in the game but what's so uncool about this is, possibly, I could die here- This is a horror survival game so what do you expect? I look down at myself and see I'm wearing an old-fashioned outfit from the 1970s, is that right? I was wearing a pink and white argyle pattern sweater vest with a white, long-sleeved dress shirt underneath, dark blue jeans and black two-tone lace-up shoes. Not gonna lie, the outfit turned out awesome on me! But wait... I noticed something... My hair! I quickly rushed up to the mirror and took a look at myself- WHOA! My hair is really short! I have a pixie cut though my bangs seem to be a bit lifted up to the side. As a result, I still look pretty cool but at the same time, I don't know what to feel about it. I never had this short hair before, and thank God I'm not in a dress or a skirt, I would feel uncomfortable... I shouldn't be here... And... Isn't there supposed to be the main character here? For some reason, I can't remember who the main character is... "Weird, I watched a whole live stream of this game... I should at least know... I gotta get out of here," I approached the door with the logo of Arch Gate Pictures and opened it to be greeted by a hollow hallway with a picture of some person in the distance, a bit hard to see- I really need glasses.

As I walk down I notice more old-fashioned animation set up on my left. On my right is a vending machine for cold drinks. I could take one, though I don't have money.

I kept walking down towards the large painting of a man, until the lights unexpectedly shut off from the loud BOOM sound of lightning, along with a mild shake in the building. It gave me a major panic attack because of it. I THOUGHT IT WAS AN EARTHQUAKE! I look around swiftly, that is until the lights turn back on but dimmer and the shaking stops... Oh boy... I kept going anyway.

I got up to the painting to have a careful look at it. I'm a fan of art myself.

There is a painting of a man with an almost bald head, a light or dark brown moustache, and an old-fashioned outfit. From the tag beneath the illustration, the man's name is Nathan Arch.

"This art is amazing," I whispered in true amazement.

I then snapped out of it to continue my journey.

Upon turning left, I noticed a path blocked by a table, boxes, a chair, and a file cabinet. There was also a flashing red light on the other side.

That could mean something.

"No alarms are set off... Or does it mean something else?" Who knows really.

I notice a door on my left so I continue on.

Turns out I entered another animation room. I got around the chairs and tables and reached another door, I discovered that it was locked.

I scoffed at that result.

"Ah, great! Just what I needed. Why would workers even lock doors when there are at least some people working late?" I complained out loud.

I did eventually remember that there was a key back at the desk... UGH! With a grunt, I turned back to get that stupid key.

***Time Skip, brought to you by Briar Label Bacon Soup!***

Alright, I got the key and returned back to the door.

I guess workers do get their own keys just in case anyone locks them in, and probably so no one steals animations.

While I was getting the keys, I got (unexpectedly) frightened again but this time by a Bendy cutout- yes, I was creeped out. As soon as I got the keys and headed back, the cutout vanished...

Opening the door, I was greeted with... not so seemingly cupcakes and rainbows, hallway...

"Well, it's dark outside... other than the lights that flicker and a mop in a bucket that moves by itself in the distance... Wait-" It sends shivers down my spine.

This place must be haunted.

Unless it was someone pulling a prank...

After moving quickly down the unsettling hallway, I passed the mop and the wheeling silver bucket, and noticed there was no one in sight... yeah, it's already haunted.

Anxiety slowly began to kick in as I approached an elevator and pushed the 'down' button.

I waited for about five seconds.

Ding.

The doors opened and I went in then pressed the 'down' button again.

Letting out a little sigh of relief yet still anxious about everything, mainly about how I ended up here. It just doesn't make any sen-

Bang!

"AHHH!" I squeal as I see a hand stopping the elevator doors and pushing them open.

Stunned to near death, I tumbled back but luckily caught myself on the bar (that's a part of the elevator).

Watching the figure open the door, my heart raced while my legs trembled.

It was revealed to be an old guy in (probably in) his 5/60s. He looked really intimidating as if he was one of the actors portraying a killer in a horror movie.

I swear, I turned pale at this point.

The man was almost bold like the man in the portrait but grey and had no facial hair. His right poor eye is a glowing moonlight than a regular, normal eye as his left grey one- he also has some scars crawling down his seemingly blind eye... I was a wee bit curious about how he got it but I'm too terrified to ask, of course!

The scary man noticed me and realised that he frightened me by surprise (after completely opening the doors).

"Oh yeah, I forgot janitors exist..." I feared.

"I am sorry... Don't mean to frighten you... my dear..." His voice was raspy and a bit off, by the sound of it.

There may be something wrong with his voice box or maybe something else that causes him to breathe in short sentences, and again, I won't question it.

I calmed down a bit, but still felt intimidated on some level, either it's because I am a HUGE introvert or knowing that something is off about this guy. He does seem like the type of person that women would want to stay away from- I wouldn't blame them if any of them have. I also have an uneasy gut feeling as well as feeling a little sick when he calls me 'my dear'. I know it doesn't necessarily mean more than that, right? Or am I just clueless?

I built up some courage to speak.

"Y-You scared me to death!" All the man did was stare... actually, studying.

He was looking at me as if he was trying to remember or recognise me... or seeming suspicious of me. That one would make a lot more sense than the other predictable option.

"I don't... recognise you from anywhere... in this building... Are you new?" I felt even more anxious.

"Um... I-"

"Even if you are... My name is Wilson... You're young for someone to be... working late tonight..."

"I don't-" I paused quickly to think about this. I don't want to get in trouble. For sure, Wilson will think that I broke in or something, and I'm pretty sure seventeen-year-olds can have a job here... I have never done animations before but I can draw cartoons very easily. I'll play along. "I'm seventeen, and I'm... MJ... by the way," I nervously smile out of perturbation.

"M... J... MJ..." He glanced away slightly as he repeated my name... Honestly, I could use my dead name but it wouldn't really feel right. It was obvious that he found it odd that my name would be that... Unusual... Surprisingly, he didn't question it. "Well then... A pretty young girl like you... Shouldn't be wondering all by yourself... Mind if I... step in?" I saw a small smirk perk a bit which made me scream mentally inside.

This is just showing me red flags already.

Who knows if I'm giving away the obvious 'I don't really want you here' look?

And him referring to me as a girl... I don't know about this. I kinda don't mind but at the same time, I don't... I am questioning myself, and I'm pretty sure I'm a demigirl but I'm unsure, still... Plus I don't know if this type of generation supports LGBTQ+... I guess he didn't disgustingly comment on my hair...

On the other hand, he could just be scaring me on purpose. Besides all of this, I'm not really a rude person and I don't want to do that unless it's necessary. Wilson is only just needing an elevator ride anyway...

"Uh... Sure..."

"Thank you, MJ,"- Wilson stepped into the elevator while I stepped back just in case he does anything funny. "You do look like you... could use a little... company..." The elevator door closed this time and began to move. I couldn't help but think that I fully regret letting him in already, this just feels really wrong. Is he even aware of what he's saying!? While the old man coughed, I looked around nervously, trying to avoid his presence, though he may have wanted to continue speaking to me... This is now my nightmare. I hate this already! "Why do you... choose to work here?" I step back a little, again.

"Um... just for money..." I lost full eye contact with him.

I am honestly scared of him.

"... What's the matter sweetheart?.. Am I just too scary to you..? Is it my scar..?" My mind gave me a plan.

If he really does try anything, just attack him out of defence. I would rather live a life in jail than deal with an unsettling, suspicious person. I also want to tell him to quit calling me names like that. It's just extremely off-putting to me! Especially when it's around a young person like me... Although fear prevents me from doing so, other than being too honest with him...

"No offence, Wilson... You do look like someone that shouldn't be interacting with women or children..." You should have seen the look on his face, he was so taken aback by what I said.

Yep, he would have hated me for that... Actually, that could be a good thing.

The cold creepy janitor sighed.

"I suppose I understand... My apologies... I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable... I promise you, I'm not like that..." Ok, now I feel extremely sorry.

I hurt him because of his appearance and admittedly I probably shouldn't be judging... His words are difficult for me to believe, though I could trust him on that one, I guess-

BANG!
