I looked over the script. I finally got to sing a song of my own! I only got my lines, because apparently Wakko and Yakko had a backup in the song. No fair! No one backed up Yakko's World or a Wakko's America, did they?
"Alright! Places people, places!"
I was excited. I had dedicated my whole week to this song, it better pay off!
I'm cute, yes, it's true
I really can't help it
But what can I do
When you're cute, it just shows
With these two darling eyes
And a cute little nose
And a pretty pink dress
That's adorable, yes
And when they see my dimples
Then everyone says
Oh shoot!
Isn't she cute, cute, cute
Oh isn't she cute, cute, cute
(Well, the backup wasn't that bad, I thought)
I'm the one they adore
I'm sweet and I'm cuddly
And small just like Dudley but more
It's a chore
To be constantly cute
And enchanting to boot
When my lip's sticking out
In that cute little pout
Then there's just no doubt
Why the guys like to shout
She's a beaut!
Let's face it, I'm cute, cute, cute
Oh, baby, she's cute, cute, cute
Being cute's a thing I can't hide
If you look up the word in a book
There's my picture inside!
TV Guide
Has me on the cover
Don' cha just love her?
I'm simply a goddess
And isn't she modest?
I'm the answer to one of the
Questions on Trivial Pursuit
For "Who's the most cute?"
Cute, Cute
Oh, isn't she cute, cute, cute
I'm cute and I'm sweet
And I'm innocent, neat
And so trusting
If you want our opinion
This song is becoming disgusting
(Well they didn't say I'm disgusting, at least.)
I'm cute
So what!
(..)
I never am vain
She's becoming a pain in the
But I'm also real nice...
I'm a doll through and- and through
So big whop-de-do
I'm s-sweet and... adoring
And also real boring
(Why did it hit so hard?)
And that's why we're snoring at you
(Why were tears filling my eyes?)
Yakko and Wakko had concerned looks on their faces.
"CUT!"
After yelling, I ran out of the room. I didn't want anyone to see me crying! My head sat against the wall. This was stupid. Wakko and Yakko didn't think I was disgusting or boring...
Right?
I heard the doorknob clanking. "Dot? It's just us." It was Yakko. "Come in." I tearily said. They both walked in, Wakko holding a cookie. "Hey, sis." Yakko said. He sat down next to me, and wrapped his arm around me. Wakko came and sat on my other side. "What was that all about?" Both Yakko and Wakko looked at me, with patience. "If you don't wanna say you don't hav-"
"Do you guys think I'm boring? Or annoying, or disgusting?" I just had to get it out of my system.
They looked at me in disbelief. "What?!" They said in unison. I started to cry to my own detriment. "B-But, you said so!" I said between sniffles. I put my hands around my legs. "If I-I really am, I understa-"
"NO." They both said. "Dot, we would never say that. I dunno what you mean!" Wakko said. "But d-during the song!" It took them a few moments to remember before..
"Oh, Angie..." Yakko and Wakko finally noticed and opened their arms. It took all of my power not to jump into them as I just cried. "Trust me, I did not want to sing that. I begged Plotzy, but he didn't want to listen." Yakko said, gripping me tighter. Wakko nodded his head. "I don't think you're boring or disgusting or any of those horrible things. And I bet you Yakko doesn't either." Wakko said in his scouse accent. "Thanks guys..." I nuzzled into their fur. "Of course, baby sis." Yakko replied. "Now, who wants to finish the song strong!"
"For The Money!"
