To all my readers: I chose to rewrite Alola because I wanted to do something different. Jordan still has Meeko, that wont change as her Pokemon partner. The different thing is Meeko will evolve into a Lucario. It will help with the Z-Crystal when I rewrite those chapters. I'm doing the franchise, from Kanto to Alola. The only region that I havent decided on is the Galar region, that's the only region up in the air right now. Before anyone asks, I'm currently at an in-between place for writing the movies right now and that includes the live action movie, Detective Pikachu.
I have already picked out my OC's Pokemon for each region already and if you don't like the way I'm writing each season, then you don't have to read it. I'm not going to force anyone of you to read my stories. Also, if you don't see any episodes that aired in Japan, it means that they didn't air that episode in the US.
Straight up, I get it, no one likes negative reviews, but I prefer positive reviews over the negative ones any day of the week. I also want everyone to know that I don't like being rushed. "I'm sorry, Ash, Jordan." said Professor Kukui as he stood on the porch. "I really wanted to show you the shopping mall. I was even hoping to grab a quick bite to eat together, but some fellow researchers suddenly asked me to come over."
"It's okay!" said Ash. "We'll do some Pokémon battle training. Right, everyone?"
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Good! I can help Ash and Jordan train, too!" said Rotom.
"(Laughs) I'm sure you can." said Kukui. "Even though it's my day off, Pokémon researchers love to debate."
"I'm all in for some training, Ash." said Jordan, looking up at her brother. "I'm just worried. You never watched me by yourself for more than an hour unless we were travelling together for the other region leagues."
"Aw, come on Jordan." he tells her. "I'm promise that you'll be fine."
"Cario." said Meeko, doubtful about Ash.
"Pika. Pik." said Pikachu.
"Remember the first time that you watched me?" Jordan asked her brother, who then blushed at what happened. "We were camping in Professor Oak's lab with Gary and I wondered off towards one of the fire type Pokémon who then burned me."
"We said we were sorry." said Ash.
"So you've both said." said Jordan.
"I'll call to check in, if that makes you feel better Jordan." said the professor. "But I have to admit, since I'm one of them too, I guess I really shouldn't talk. (Laughs) I'll see you two later, alright?"
"See you later! Bye!" said Ash and Jordan.
"Pikachu! Lucario!" said Pikachu and Meeko.
"Bye-bye!" said Kukui as he and Rockruff left.
Narrator: Ash and Jordan are spending their time in Alola, living at Professor Kukui's house while they attend the Pokémon school where the professor teaches. However it looks like Ash, Jordan and their Pokémon are housesitting by themselves today and there could be trouble.
Jordan: Yeah, most of the trouble is caused by Ash.
Meeko: Cario?
Jordan: It was that bad. I wished you and Pikachu were there when he first babysitted me.
"So how do you want to train?" Ash asked Pikachu, Jordan and Meeko. "Of course, catching some Pokémon might be good too!"
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu. On the top of the bookshelf, Rowlet was sleeping while Leilani was picking at her feathers when suddenly Rowlet falls forward.
It wakes up and starts flapping its wings in a panic before falling on Ash's head, causing him to spit out his juice. Chaos ensues around them as a mess was made. "Huh? No!" said Ash, looking down at his shirt.
"No need to have a fit, Ash." said Jordan.
"The spread rate of that stain is 25%." said Rotom.
"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu, standing on the other side of the discarded books on the floor.
"Oh, you sure did make a mess." said Ash as Rowlet tilts its head.
"Let's get your shirt washed!" said Rotom.
"Good idea!" said Ash. At the washing machine, Ash and Jordan were loading things that needed to be washed. "There. I wonder if these need to be washed, too." said Ash, seeing a basket next to the washing machine while Jordan sits on the counter.
"Pika!" said Pikachu, sniffing the lab coat.
"Might as well." said Ash, getting another lab coat.
"Pik!" said Pikachu.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"Can this be washed too?" asked Jordan, holding out her blanket. "It's starting to smell funny."
"Sure." he said, taking her blanket and placing it with the load. "This one, too. One more. This, too. In it goes. Throw them all in." Ash then grabs the detergent.
"In goes the detergent. There. Wow, appliances are so amazing." said Ash, helping his sister down from the counter and leaves the room.
"Pika! Cario!"
"Hey, Ash. Did you do it right?" asked Rotom.
"Piece of cake! Come on!" said Ash as the washing machine was going. Rotom was taking pictures of Rowlet posing while Jordan was holding her Pokémon egg when suddenly there was a bang. "What was that?" asked Rotom as he and Jordan went to go see.
"Pikipek?" asked Leilani, Soon as they looked through the door, they see the washing machine door opened.
"Huh?"
"That's not good." said Jordan, not liking the sound.
"Cari. Pikipek." said her Pokémon.
"Ah! Ah! Emergency alert! Emergency alert! Emergency alert!" screamed Rotom.
"What's wrong?" asked Ash as he looks over the railing at Rotom and Jordan.
"Emergency…." said Rotom just as Ash and Pikachu jumped over the railing and hits the aquarium.
"Pi." said Pikachu. Ash, Pikachu, Jordan and Meeko run into the laundry room, slipping on watery detergent, falling to the ground. "Oh, how did it end up like this?" asked Ash as the four of them cleaned up.
"I think we over did it with the washing machine, Ashy." said Jordan.
"Pikachu." grumbled Pikachu.
"Rio." muttered Meeko. Suddenly, Ash and Jordan's stomachs growled. "Oh, I'm starving." said Ash.
"Me too." said Jordan.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Uh….I wonder what there is to eat." said Ash, opening the fridge door and sees some meat. "Huh? This will do it! And down the hatch!"
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Wait! Stop!" shouted Rotom.
"Huh? What's up, Rotom?" asked Ash.
"You have to cook that and feed your sister first!" he tell him.
"But I don't know how to cook." said Ash. "And Jordan can make herself something, right?"
"Yeah, that's true, but Professor Kukui left you in charge, remember?" said Jordan.
"Professor Kukui and I watched a cooking show once." said Rotom. "Follow my instructions and you'll cook as well!"
"Okay, okay." Ash said. "If it makes it taste better, I'm in!"
"First, you have to dice the vegetables." Rotom instructed.
"Hm? How do you dice a round veggie?" asked Ash with Jordan shrugging her shoulders.
"I don't know. I can't use a sharp knife." said Jordan.
"Then you put salt and pepper to taste." said Rotom.
"To taste? So just eyeball it, right?" asked Ash, pouring in salt.
"Pika-Pi!" said Pikachu, adding in the pepper and before long, both Ash and Pikachu started sneezing.
"That's too much pepper, Pikachu." said Jordan as she and Meeko covered their noses.
"Lucario." said Meeko, as she starts to sneeze.
"Once its cooked through, you flambe it!" said Rotom.
"Do what?" asked Ash. "Flabebe it?"
"Flabe!"
Out on the table, Ash brought over what he made on the stove. "Oh." said Ash and Pikachu.
"It looks different on the show." said Rotom.
"You know, right about now, I actually miss Brock's and Cilan's cooking." said Jordan, looking at what her brother made and picks at it. "At least theirs looked and taste better."
"Cario." said Meeko, picking up a piece and sniffing it.
"It really doesn't matter how it looks, right?" said Ash. "Now, down the hatch!"
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"We'll do it for your sake." said Jordan, staring at the concoction on the spoon.
"Piki." said Leilani.
"Lucari." said Meeko. Ash starts gobbling a few bites while Pikachu hadn't started on his.
"Pika…." said Pikachu, looking a little green in the face.
"You don't look so good, Pikachu." said Jordan, seeing the look on the mouse's face.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu, sending a thunderbolt through the house. Ash, Jordan, Rowlet, Leilani and Meeko groaned from the thunderbolt. Ten minutes later, Ash was back in the kitchen to see that the fridge was bare. "There's nothing left." said Ash.
"And who's fault is that?" Jordan asked, sarcastically as Ash starts thinking.
"Let's go shopping!" Ash finally said.
"Pika!" said Pikachu. At the stores in town, Ash and Jordan were looking around.
"So, this is the shopping mall." said Ash. "It's gigantic!"
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"We need a shopping mall for Pallet." said Jordan.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"Piki." said Leilani.
"So many different stores." said Rotom, looking at the map.
"Sure are." said Ash. "Where do they sell food? Huh?" He and Jordan sees Sophocles and Togedemaru at the mall. "Sophocles! And Togedemaru!"
"Hm? Huh?" said Sophocles, hearing his name. "Hey, it's Ash and Jordan."
"Alola! Shopping, too, Sophocles?" asked the brother and sister.
"Yeah. Yeah, I am." Sophocles replied, scratching his face a bit. Togedemaru squeaks as she hops out of her trainer's arms and heads for Pikachu.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu as Togedemaru tackles him to the ground. "Ah! Pika! Pika!"
"Hey. Cut it out, Togedemaru." said Sophocles.
"(Laughs) Togedemaru sure likes Pikachu." said Ash.
"Togedemaru. The Roly-Poly Pokémon. An electric and steel type." said Rotom. "Its ability to generate electricity is weak. But its long needle acts as a lightning rod, so it can attract lighting and store electricity."
"Oh, yeah. I remember." said Ash, remembering when Pikachu sent out a thunder bolt and Togedemaru stored it in her body.
"When happy, it forms a ball and rolls around. But once it starts rolling, it can't control itself." Rotom added as Togedemaru rolls up on Ash and hits him in the face, knocking the boy down.
"Togedemaru?" asked Jordan, causing the Roly-Poly Pokémon to look up. "If you give Pikachu some space, maybe he would be able to catch his breath."
"Maru." said Togedemaru, smiling as she jumps off of Pikachu, who then sits up.
"Wow…." said Sophocles. "How did you do that?"
"That, Sophocles, is a trade secret." said Jordan, smirking as Togedemaru squeaks and rolls around Pikachu again.
"She won't even tell me how she did it with one of my Pokémon back home." said Ash.
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Lucar, Lucario." said Meeko.
"So what are you shopping for, Sophocles?" asked Ash.
"Shopping for?" asked Sophocles, confused at first. "Some Ice cream."
"Ice cream? I want some too!" said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Hm? You want it that badly?" Sophocles asked.
"Yeah! I want some big time!" said Ash.
"And there goes lunch." sighed Jordan.
"Customer with ticket number ten?" said Jessie, calling the next customer in line. "Thank you for waiting."
"Thank you. Please come again." said Jessie and James. The customer leaves and both of them groaned. "Finally, no customers left." said James.
"That was some long line. So busy." said Jessie.
"Hey, of course it was." said Meowth. "There's no place like this place when it comes to malasada doughnuts in Alola, dig?"
"Wobbu!" said Wobbuffet.
"Good work, people." said a girl, working at the stand. "You can go on break now."
"Okay." said Jessie and James. Next door, Sophocles brought the siblings to the ice cream shop. "Here we are." said Sophocles.
"Oh, look at all those flavors." said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"So many…" said Jordan.
"Rio." said Meeko.
"(Squeaks)" said Togedemaru.
"Which one should we get?" asked Ash and Jordan, looking at the flavors until deciding on which flavor. "And down the hatch!"
"Mm. It's delicious! Best ice cream I've ever had." said Ash.
"Scrumptious!" said Jordan.
"Lucario!" said Meeko, with some ice cream on her face.
"Huh? Yeah, right?" asked Sophocles. "I think their ice cream is the best in Alola! They use a generous amount of rich cream and the highest-grade vanilla you can buy! And it's all made by hand to boot."
Ash had his hand on his forehead while Jordan sighed. "You know that's not how you're supposed to eat ice cream, Ash." said Jordan.
"Rio. Piki." said Meeko and Leilani.
"A lot of times they sell out." Sophocles added. "So we really lucked out today."
"This is awesome, Sophocles." said Ash. "So, are you an ice cream and sweets kind of guy?"
"No, I'm not! I just like to gather as much information as I can!" he tells Ash and Jordan as he takes out a mini-Pikachu on the table and a screen appeared. "Also things like this. I like to program and analyze lots of stuff. I just happened to have made this! Togedemaru training program. Run!"
On the screen, an animated version of Togedemaru was running on a hamster wheel as fast as she can. "Amazing, Sophocles." said Ash and Jordan.
"Your training program piques my interest! I'd like to see the data!" said Rotom.
"Huh?" said Sophocles, getting a screwdriver. "If you let me analyze you first, then I'll show you."
"No, thank you! Argh!" shouted Rotom. On the other side of the food court, James and the other members of Team Rocket sighed as they ate malasadas. "I could never grow wary of these." said James.
"They're even a huge hit with Pokémon!" said Meowth.
"Wobbu! Wobbu!" said Wobbuffet. Suddenly, James realized something and banged his hands on the table. "Wait a minute!" he said. "Our mission was to collect information about where people gather, right?! And our other mission was to confiscate every single Pokémon at the shopping mall in one single swoop!"
"Funny how I forgot that." said Jessie, munching on a malasada as the others freaked out at her response. Five minutes later, Team Rocket sneaks into a back room. "Say, is this their security system?" asked James.
"I'll keep an eye out." said Meowth, but when he turned around, Mimikyu was out of its ball. "How long have you been standing there?" Meowth stumbles backwards, bumps into James, causing him to press the wrong button on the screen. Metal doors starts coming down as the alarm blared. "Wobbu! Wo!" said Wobbuffet as Team Rocket gasped.
In the rest of the mall, Ash and Sophocles walked ahead when Jordan, Meeko, Pikachu, Rotom and Togedemaru stopped at the TVs. "Huh?" said Rotom.
"Pika?" said Pikachu. Suddenly, doors all over the mall were closing. "What's going on?" asked Ash.
"Ash!" shouted Jordan as she and the Pokémon ran towards him.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Lucario!" shouted Meeko.
"Pikachu! Jordan! Meeko! Rotom!" shouted Ash, seeing the door closed in front him. The crowd murmurs as they were locked inside. Ash bangs on the door. "Hey Pikachu! Rotom Dex!" shouted Ash. "Jordan! Meeko! You in there? Answer me!"
"Togedemaru!" shouted Sophocles. On the other side of the door, Pikachu, Meeko and Togedemaru were trying to get the door. "Pik. Pika!" said Pikachu, using his shoulder against it.
"Emergency situation! Emergency situation!" shouted Rotom.
"Ash!" cried Jordan.
"Guess I'll have to deal with this door myself." said Ash.
"Huh?" said Sophocles and is about to see Ash break down the door. "Stop! You can't go breaking other people's property."
"Huh. Yeah, but still…." said Ash.
"Sorry about our situation!" said a security man, running up to everyone. "The system malfunctioned and the doors all closed automatically! We're investigating the cause, so please stay put and stay calm."
"Yeah…." said Ash as the crowd murmurs around him. "Jordan's not going to like that."
"Ash, get me out of here!" Jordan shouted as she pounds on the door. Suddenly the lights go out and Sophocles starts running around Ash. "It's dark and scary! I don't like this!" screamed Sophocles. "Scary! Scary!" As Sophocles makes another round, he slams into Ash, knocking him to the ground. "Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"Cario." said Meeko.
"Did someone knock into my brother?" asked Jordan.
"Yeah!" someone said on the other side of the door.
"Ash, are you okay?" asked Jordan.
"I'm okay." he tells her. In his backpack, Rowlet struggles to get out for a moment before catching some air. Several lights came on, causing Sophocles to look up and see that he was on Ash.
"Sorry, Ash!" said Sophocles, getting off him.
"What's wrong, Sophocles?" asked Ash. "You're not afraid of the dark, are you?"
"Of course not. I was just startled. I'm totally fine!" he tells Ash. "Even at night, I'm never scared because Togedemaru is with me."
"All right! So, then, let's go and find my sister, Meeko, Togedemaru and Pikachu!" said Ash.
"Hurry!" shouted Jordan, starting to hyperventilate.
"Huh! Right!"
"Pika! Lucario!" said Pikachu and Meeko as Togedemaru glows.
"Excuse me." said Ash, running up to a security desk. "What's with the doors?"
"I'm sorry. I'm doing everything I can, but…." he said to the boys.
"Let me see." said Sophocles as he runs around the desk and plugs in.
"Sophocles, think you can figure it out?" asked Ash.
"Leave the analysis to me." replied Sophocles, typing away. "It's easy. Input this. There! Found it! It looks like we have no choice but to shut down the whole system and reboot it."
"The main system located in the power supply room." said the security.
"Excuse me!" a woman called out.
"Mm. Uh, I'll be right back." the security said, leaving the desk.
"I guess it's all on us and Jordan now, Sophocles." said Ash.
"Huh?" Sophocles said, shocked. "You think we're allowed to do it by ourselves?"
"Pikachu, Jordan, Meeko, Rotom Dex! How's it going?" asked Ash.
"Freaking out over here!" said Jordan, holding a brown paper bag to her face as Pikachu and Meeko try to calm her down.
"Lucar…Rio." Meeko said to Jordan, having her slow down her breathing. "Lucar….Rio."
"Ash, I've already located the map to the power supply room!" said Rotom.
"Way to go, Rotom!" said Ash.
"I still want to analyze you later." said Sophocles.
"We'll meet up at the power supply room and keep Jordan calm if you can." said Ash.
"Okay…." Jordan said, weakly.
"Roger! Everyone follow me!" said Rotom, with Jordan and the Pokémon following him.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"Ma!" squeaked Togedemaru.
"All right, let's go, Sophocles." said Ash.
"Huh? Wait!" said Sophocles, running after Ash.
"Come on! Let me out, now!" shouted Jessie, banging on the door with her fist before turning to James. "What's up?"
"It looks like we caused the mall's system to malfunction." James tells her.
"Huh? Well, then, do something!" demanded Jessie.
"Not easy." said James.
"I want out of here!" said Jessie.
"Wobbu!" said Wobbuffet. Meowth groans as he looks over at Mimikyu.
"Of all the Pokémon to be trapped with…" said Meowth as Mimikyu comes closer. "Uh! It's like a horror movie except its real life."
"Try to get along, okay?" Jessie asked Meowth and Mimikyu.
"Yeah, easy for you to say." said Meowth as Mimikyu hisses at him. Just then, the lights went out in the room, causing Meowth to jump on Jessie.
"Hey! What's gotten into you? That hurts." said Jessie, prying Meowth off of her. Down a hallway, Rotom leads Jordan and the Pokémon to the power supply room. "Beep, beep, beep." said Rotom as he pulls off a panel of the air conditioning. "It's much faster if we take this route!"
"Rotom, I can't fit in there and neither can Meeko." said Jordan.
"Don't worry, Jordan." Rotom tells her. "I have an idea."
"Pika." said Pikachu, jumping into the vent then turns to Meeko. "Pika, Pika-Pik."
"Lucario." said Meeko, nodding.
"Pikachu." Pikachu said to Togedemaru, who then jumps up towards him. "Pika." Pikachu climbs down to let Togedemaru grabs his tail, but wasn't there. "Pika?"
"Maru." squealed Togedemaru, once set down.
"Pika, pika!" screamed Pikachu, letting go of the vent and lands on the floor.
"Are you okay?" asked Jordan.
"Pikachu." he replied.
"Jordan, stay right there." said Rotom, before grabbing her by the hand.
"Wah!" shrieked Jordan as Rotom lifts her up. "Really, Rotom?"
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"Togede." said Togedemaru as she goes the vent.
"Pi! Pika! Pika!"
"Make a right." Sophocles tells Ash.
"Okay!" replied Ash. As soon as they made a right, Ash crashes into the door.
"Sophocles." Ash said, irritably.
"Uh, oppsie." he said, looking down at the map on his phone. "Do over! Make a left."
"Right!" said Ash, making a left, only to crash into another door. "Sophocles."
"Left! Make a left!" said Sophocles, before looking up. "Oh!"
"Not again." Ash said in a muffled voice as Rowlet trills.
"Give it the gas!" grunted Jessie as she and Meowth were trying to lift the door up. "Will you stop giving me a hard time and open already!" As she yelled at the door, Jessie starts throwing punches. "Hey Jessie. Over here!" said James, as she continues to punch the door.
"Yo, James is paging you." Meowth tells her as he and Wobbuffet walk over towards him.
"What?" she asked, looking up. "It's like this door is glued shut!" Once she turned the corner, Jessie's mouth dropped at what she was seeing. "This one is open." said James, stating the obvious.
"Then, of course, I would have to use that one!" screeched Jessie. Back inside the mall, Ash and Sophocles continued to find the power supply room. "(Grunts) This is closed, too!" said Ash, coming to a halt.
"Now, that's odd. It shouldn't be." said Sophocles.
"Ah! So what's going on?" Ash asked, waving his arm at the door. "Figure this out, please!"
"I'm going by what the data says! If it's wrong, then it's not my fault! Understand!" Sophocles said, in an exasperated tone.
"Huh!" both boys said, turning away from each other. In Ash's backpack, Rowlet wakes up and starts panicking as it flies out, gaining the boys attention that the door behind them was closing, causing them to scream. "It's closing!" shouted Ash as he slides under the door. Sophocles follows suit but trips over his footing.
"Huh?"
"Sophocles!" shouted Ash, reaching out for him and pulls him underneath the door.
"Thanks a lot, Ash." sighed Sophocles, panting as he catches his breath, causing Ash to laugh a bit.
"This is no time to be fighting, right?" asked Ash.
"Right!" replied Sophocles. Up on the roof, Jessie breaks open the door. "Uh-huh. Free at last." said Jessie, breathing the fresh air.
"Oxygen." said Meowth, with a smile. On the other side of the roof, Rotom breaks open the vent and out comes, Jordan, Meeko, Pikachu and Togedemaru. "Hm?" said Team Rocket.
"Never again, will I ever be climbing through a vent like that." stated Jordan, covered in dust.
"Lucario!" said Meeko, in agreement, covered in dirt as well.
"We'll be at the power supply room soon!" said Rotom as they turn to see Team Rocket. "Eh?"
"Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"Cario?" asked Meeko.
"Pikachu! Meeko!" screamed Jessie.
"What are you doing here?" asked James.
"Déjà vu!" screamed Meowth.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Mar!" yelled Togedemaru.
"Cario!" yelled Meeko.
"Be on your guard." said Rotom.
"With Team Rocket? We always are." said Jordan. Mimikyu hisses as it uses shadow tail against Pikachu. "Pika!" shouted Pikachu, jumping out of the way.
"Cool your jets!" said Jessie. "You don't start battling without me!"
"That's because Mimikyu doesn't like Pikachu." said James. Down below in the mall, a deafening blast was heard by Ash and Sophocles.
"Huh?"
"What?" asked Sophocles.
"It's up there!" said Ash.
"(Hisses)" said Mimikyu, firing multiple shadow balls.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu, jumping out of the way as Togedemaru runs away.
"Meeko, use Vacuum Wave!" shouted Jordan.
"Lucar! Lucario!" said Meeko as she sends Vacuum Wave right into Mimikyu, who then fires another shadow ball at Togedemaru.
"Pika! Pika!" shouted Pikachu, trying to protect the Roly Poly Pokémon, but only gets knocked back. Meeko finally makes contact with Mimikyu's small body. "Mimikyu!" screeched Jessie.
"Pikachu! Meeko!" screamed Jordan and Rotom as Togedemaru squeaks. James and Meowth run over to the ledge to find Pikachu. "Where's Pikachu?" asked James.
"Eh? Eh?" said Meowth, then finally spots the mouse Pokémon. "Over there!"
"Pika!" said Pikachu, struggling to keep himself from falling to the ground.
"Ma!" said Togedemaru, heading her way towards Pikachu to help, but was stopped by Team Rocket. "Huh?"
"Perfect timing." said Jessie. "Let's grab this Roly-Poly Pokémon, Meeko and Pikachu and then go."
"Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet.
"There is no way I'm letting you take them." said Jordan.
"That's not up for discussion, kid." said Meowth as Togedemaru starts sending out sparks.
"Oh whatever, Meowth!" shouted Meeko.
"Aw. That's such a darling discharge." said Jessie.
"Hey!" shouted Ash, running up behind Jordan and the others.
"Ash! Sophocles! You're here!" shouted Jordan.
"Was it you guys who caused this mess?" asked Ash, looking straight at Team Rocket.
"Did you ask about a mess? We're here to find out!" said Jessie.
"Messy answers are what we're all about!" said James.
"The beauty so radiant, the flowers and moon hide in shame. A single flower of evil in this fleeting world. Jessie!"
"The nobly heroic man of our times! The master of darkness fighting back against a tragic world! Its James."
"It's all for one and one for all! A glittering dark star that always shines bright! Dig it, while Meowth takes flight!"
"Team Rocket, lets fight!" said Jessie and James.
"That's right!" said Meowth.
"Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet.
"Do you have any idea how much trouble you caused?" asked Sophocles. Togedemaru squeals as she jumps up and down. "They never think things through, Sophocles. That's always how Team Rocket is." said Jordan.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu called out. Ash looks down at Jordan.
"Mimikyu caused Pikachu to go over the ledge." she tells him, pointing to where Pikachu is.
"Pika! Pika!" Pikachu cried, struggling to hang on.
"Pikachu!" shouted Ash, running to get Pikachu with Jordan close behind him.
"Oh no you don't." said James, blocking him and Jordan.
"Your Pikachu's got our name on it!" said Meowth while both siblings snarled and glared at him.
"Now, let me see." Sophocles said to himself. "Uh…what to do? What do I do?"
"Maru!" shouted Togedemaru.
"Of course! That's it!" said Sophocles. "Hurry Ash! Tell Pikachu to use Thunderbolt!"
"Use thunderbolt, huh?" asked Ash. "All right, Pikachu, use thunderbolt!"
"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu from over the ledge, sending a thunderbolt.
"I think your aim's a bit off." said Jessie.
"Mimikyu." hissed Mimikyu.
"He wasn't aiming for you this time, Jessie." said Jordan, causing Team Rocket to turn around. She points to Togedemaru, squealing as she receives the Thunderbolt. "Huh?" said a confused Jessie.
"Pikachu was aiming for Togedemaru." said Jordan.
"Togedemaru, Zing Zap, let's go!" shouted Sophocles.
"To…..ge!" squealed Togedemaru as she spins, heading straight for Mimikyu and Team Rocket. Once making contact, Team Rocket screams in shock. "Okay, Rowlet! You've got to go help Pikachu!" Ash said to Rowlet.
"Rowl." trilled Rowlet as it flies over to Pikachu.
"Pika, pika!" said Pikachu, thanking Rowlet as it grabs him with his claws and flies back to the others.
"You're safe now, Pikachu!" exclaimed Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"That's not right. I don't feel good!" said James.
"Being in deep trouble will do that!" said Meowth, then looks up to see a shadow in the setting sun. "Huh?"
"Bewear!" shouted Bewear, appearing on the roof top.
"And now you?" asked a horrified Jessie.
"Huh?" said Ash, Jordan and Sophocles. Bewear jumps onto the rooftop, grabbing a screaming Team Rocket in its arms. "Off with a new blast!" yelled Team Rocket.
"Wobbuffet!" shouted Wobbuffet.
"Jordan?" asked Ash.
"Since being here in the Alola region, that makes the 4th time Team Rocket has tried to get Pikachu and Meeko." said Jordan, showing him the notebook.
"Wow." said Sophocles. "You take this very seriously."
"I do, Sophocles. Plus, Meowth and I made a deal back when we were in Kanto." Jordan tells him.
"I have a feeling that you're going to cash that deal in very soon." said Ash.
"Yep. And that's if he keeps his end of the deal." she replied.
"What deal?" asked Rotom.
"We'll tell you later, Rotom." said Ash as Togedemaru squeals and jumps on Pikachu.
"You'll love what I came up with." said Jordan as Meeko nodded, smiling at the Pokedex.
"Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu cried out as he gets knocked backwards.
"Not only did it absorb that thunderbolt, Togedemaru harnessed all that electricity to power up its Zing Zap." explained Rotom. "Updating my data."
"You two sure will make a great team. Right, Pikachu?" asked Ash.
"Pika." said Pikachu, laughing as Togedemaru tickles him.
"Ash is right about that." said Jordan.
"Lucario." said Meeko, smiling.
"My Togedemaru's a girl you know." said Sophocles.
"A girl, huh?" asked Ash. "Like brother and sister!"
"Looks like you got another sister, Pikachu." teased Jordan, causing Meeko to giggle.
"Pika. Pika. Pika! Pikachu!" said Pikachu, giving Jordan and Ash a smile then giggles as he gets tickled more by Togedemaru.
"Pikachu has a sister?" asked Sophocles as Jordan nodded.
"Yep. Meeko is his honorary sister while the other sister is back home in Kanto." said Jordan as Meeko joins in the tickling.
"I forgot! The power supply room!" Ash exclaimed, remembering what they were there for.
"Over there!" said Rotom, pointing to where it is.
"Let's do what we came here to do." said Ash.
"Yeah!" said Sophocles and Jordan.
"Pika! Lucario!" Once power was restored, Ash, Jordan and Sophocles left the mall. "I'm glad everyone got out safe." said Sophocles.
"Me too." said Jordan.
"Yeah. If we work together, there's nothing we can do." said Ash.
"You're right, Ash." said Sophocles.
"He always is." said Jordan.
"Hold on!" shouted Rotom. "Why did we come to the mall in the first place?"
"Uh-oh." said Jordan. "I knew we forgot something."
"Huh? Oh! We came to buy some food." said Ash, causing Sophocles to laugh.
"I guess we kind of forgot that." he said.
"Yeah, no kidding." said Jordan.
"I remember now and I'm starving." said Ash, grabbing his rumbling stomach.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"Oh, there they are. Ash! Jordan!" shouted Professor Kukui, running up with Rockruff.
"Huh?" said the three, looking at the Professor.
"It's Professor Kukui?" asked Ash.
"How did he find us so fast?" asked Jordan.
"I've been looking for the two of you." he said, finally catching up to them. "Since I saw the memo saying you were going grocery shopping."
"I'm sorry!" said Ash, apologetically. "I used everything in the fridge."
"I know." said Kukui. "Let's go to Mallow's family restaurant, my treat. Would you like to join us?"
"I want a mixed grill and super-size fries!" said Sophocles.
"Toge!" said Togedemaru.
"Yeah! I want that too!" said Ash.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Finally!" Jordan exclaimed. "Something that's even better than Ash's cooking!"
"Lucario!" Meeko exclaimed; arms raised in the air. Ash looked at them, disheartened by their statement. "Aw, come on! We didn't mean it like that, Ash." Jordan tells him. "We just want something that looks and taste more edible."
"Cario. Lucario." said Meeko, shaking her head in agreement.
"Well, I'm glad that's all settled." said Ash.
"I'll race you all there!" said Sophocles and the three of them ran, leaving Kukui behind them.
"Hey, wait for me!" Kukui called after them.
Narrator: Ash and Jordan are experiencing their first day off from school in Alola, but it hasn't been without incident!
Jordan: Remind me to never, ever crawl through a vent again!
Meeko: Cario!
Narrator: That bad, huh?
Jordan: It was torture! And filthy in there!
Narrator, clears his throat: One wonders what other adventures await, as our heroes' journey continues!
