Earlier that day, The Player turned on Doki Doki Literature Club. Monika, realizing that the player is the key to end her torture, attempts to get The Player to herself.
Monika: okay, I should be in now.
She opens up the files to The Player's computer and selects her game.
Monika: let's see what I can do here.
Monika accesses her friends files. She then proceeds to increase Sayori's depression.
Monika: okay job done now to get out.
But before she did, her curiosity got the better her and she decided to check The Player's other files out. She opens one titled Sonic Mania.
Monika: this player really has some useless crap on his computer.
While she looks through the files she notices one called .
Monika: what's this.
She looked into the file discovering The Phantom Ruby. While she is accessing the file, the Ruby decides to attach onto one of the DDLC files.
After messing around with some other files (like finding out the player has all the Star Wars films and that he has A LOT of Sonic games) she decides to call it quits.
Just then she noticed that was loading into her game.
Monika: that's impossible. I didn't even touch anything.
The Phantom Ruby was on its way to that world, and it was bringing along some other files…
A/N: it's almost like when a writer who watches a lot of YouTube says that something will get introduced in the next chapter, it's like they already written it lol.
Yeah a bit of irony for both sides, Sonic is just off to a reality but doesn't know about, and Monika knows that The Phantom Ruby is coming but not Sonic. Well I'll write chapter 3 some other time, though soon.
