Bart is sitting on the couch, playing video games, when Homer and the two children arrive. He looks up, surprised, as Meg enters the room.

Bart: Hey, I'm Bart. Who are you?

Meg: I'm Meg.

Bart: Whoa, you're cute!

Lisa enters the room, giving a sly look to Bart.

Lisa: Uh oh, looks like someone's got a crush!

Bart (blushing): Shut up, Lisa.

Over the next few days, Bart follows Meg around, doing whatever she wants in an attempt to impress her. Meg, flattered by the attention, starts taking advantage of Bart's willingness to do anything.

At dinner one night, Marge asks Meg about her family.

Meg: Oh, we're all terrible. My dad always ignores me, my mom is an alcoholic, and my brother does drugs.

Bart: That's so sad. I'll protect you from now on, Meg.

Lisa looks on disapprovingly as Bart continues to fawn over Meg.

Lisa: Bart, it's not healthy to obsess over someone like that.

Bart: I'm not obsessing, I just really like her!

Lisa sighs, knowing that nothing she says will convince Bart to behave differently.

Meg: Bart, can you do the dishes for me?

Bart (smiling): Sure thing!

Lisa watches as Bart eagerly goes to do Meg's bidding.

Lisa: This is going to end badly.
