Epilogue

Taylor stretched and relaxed on the couch. She finally had a chilling, peaceful afternoon to herself. Since Ridge and she had returned from their honeymoon two weeks ago, they hardly had a quiet minute. Both were immediately captured by their work. Ridge at Forrester Creation and she with her practice. A lot of work had been left behind during their long trip and was now waiting for them. In addition, they were constantly descended by some family members who wanted a detailed report on their trip. But today, Taylor had some time to take a breath.

She and Ridge had been married for a year now. Two weeks ago, on the last day of their honeymoon, they celebrated their first anniversary. Taylor's gaze fell on her wrist. Ridge had given her a beautiful golden watch for this occasion. The bracelet had both of their initials worked into it.

Taylor thought the last few months had flown by extremely fast. It didn't seem like a year at all and yet a lot had happened in the last few months.

Thomas was still living with them at home. After a few months, he broke up with his girlfriend Maja after many heavy arguments. Now he enjoyed being single again and was barely at home one night.

Steffy, on the other hand, was still floating on cloud nine. In the meantime, she had introduced her dreamboy to the family. John was an aspiring young producer who was just about to get a foothold in the film business. He had been involved in a commercial shoot for Forrester Creation. That's how Steffy and he had met. Steffy was absolutely certain, John was her Mr. Right. When Taylor realized how serious this relationship was getting, she had an honest heart to heart with Steffy. John had made a good first impression on both Ridge and her. He was sincere, ambitious and it was obvious how much Steffy meant to him. Still, Taylor had cautioned her daughter to take things slowly and not to rush into anything. Steffy had promised her to take everything step by step. Nevertheless, just before Ridge and Taylor had left for their honeymoon, she had moved in with John. Both had felt ready for this step. Taylor had found it very difficult to let her little girl go. But in the end, she didn't want to stand in her way and she was cheerful for her daughter. Ridge and Thomas had comforted her. At least she still had them to mother. Taylor had countered with a laugh.

"Yes, indeed! With you two slobs, I have more than enough to do!"

Taylor returned to the present. She was busy pasting the pictures of her honeymoon into the album.

It had been a breathtaking, once-in-a-lifetime journey. Ridge had kept their honeymoon a big secret. When they had taken off in the jet, he had kept all the windows closed the whole time and had told the pilot beforehand not to reveal the destination airport. After they landed, he blindfolded her. Only when they had arrived at the harbor, he had finally let her in on his plans. He had booked a yacht for them and was planning an extensive trip around Europe with her. Taylor had been thrilled. They had started in Dover and sailed down to France. Taylor remembered, on their first night, they had sat together for a long time to map out their itinerary. They had been on the road for ten weeks in all. They had driven from France around Portugal and Spain to Italy and then down through several Eastern European countries to Turkey.

As Taylor sorted the pictures by date and pasted them into the album, she relived the many moments on their trip once more.
