My life just... sucked!
One stupid decision and I was going to pay for it for the rest of my life!
And sadly, I wasn't the only one who's going to suffer. I had spoiled Bella's life with no fucking fault of her!
It's been six months since Tanya was out of Coma, and I still hadn't figured out anything!
I just sucked!
I couldn't recall when was the last time I hadn't repeated these lines in my head.
I received a call from Emmett, but I wasn't going to answer that.
I didn't have any strength to deal with anything right now!
These business trips had begun to feel like a form of escapism to me, away from all bullshit, away from everything!
I still questioned myself if I should have talked to Bella in detail? The way I handled everything wasn't fair to her.
No... What I did was best for her!
She didn't have to go through any other bullshit because of me!
She was awake!
She looked so weak and fragile!
She looked like a totally different person!
In my mind, I always thought I'd ask for the divorce as soon as she was awake, but looking at her condition, it wasn't... right! I had to wait!
"Can you please come with me for a minute?" Aro said.
"Yeah," I said.
"Look," he smiled as he put his hand on my shoulder, "My daughter is back! You've no idea how happy I am today."
"Of course," I said.
"So... I'll come to the point directly. I really hope you stop your rendezvous with Ms. Swan now," he smiled.
What?
How... How did he know about it?
"I'm not sure what you're talking about," I said.
"Oh, you do know what I'm talking about," he smiled, "Look, Ms. Swan is an important asset to the company. I don't really want to fire her. Do you really want me to put the pressure on board and fire her?"
I glared at him.
"No, right?" he smiled, "Come on, Edward! You're a smart man! So... Stop fucking around!"
What the fuck was I thinking while starting an affair with her? I should have realized Aro wouldn't let it go easily if he ever found out about us! I should have thought through all the cases!
I wasn't sure how many stupid decisions I was going to make!
But... I needed to stop and reflect.
If I had to figure out my shit, I needed to start using my fucking brains!
That's when Emmett called again. He wasn't going to stop, was he?
"What?" I said as I answered the call!
"What's going on with Bella and you?" he asked as I finally answered the call.
That was the last thing I expected to hear!
"What?" I said.
"Everything is a mess here. When the fuck are you coming back?" he said.
"Tell me what the fuck happened there?" I found my heart was beating at crazy speed.
"Tanya showed a video of Bella and you to everyone at the party... And... Did you guys hook up?" he asked.
She did... what?
Why?
What?
"What video?" I said.
"What video?" he said, "Do you want me to describe it now? How many videos do you even have?"
What video he was fucking talking about!
We were not crazy to record something crazy, were we?
"It was a very short clip. You guys looked very intimate... She kissed you.."
I had no fucking idea what video he was talking about!
But... Maybe I'd figure out that later! The point was, it seemed everyone was aware about our affair now!
"Where is Bella?" I asked.
"Tanya is crying like crazy... Everyone is trying to console her..."
I wasn't really interested!
"Where is Bella?" I repeated my question.
"She left," he said, "Alice ran after her."
"Can I call you back?" I said.
"Fuck... Fuck... Fuck..." I said as I kicked the coffee table and called Bella.
