Melody was enjoying her day at the Super Smash Con. Dressed as her favorite character, Luigi. She had a lot in common with the character. She was as tall as Luigi. The only slight difference was she was a girl. Melody had short brown hair like him. She had it so short because one of her bullies stuck gum into her long, beautiful locks. She also glued a fake nose and mustache to look like him. It was a glue you could only remove with a special glue remover. One she always had in her pocket for activities like this if she was tired of wearing it, so it wasn't effortless to remove without it. Not only did she look like him, but she also had the same positive and negative personality. Melody is kind, forgiving, and too forgiving at times. She was also gullible, and she always saw the good in people. She was also a timid girl.

Growing up, she had no friends or siblings to play with. The girls and boys in the orphanage would always just bully her. The school was no exception for the poor girl. Unlike Luigi, she didn't have a big brother to defend her, so things weren't easy for her. However, it didn't stop her from seeing the good in people or being happy. She was purchasing a one-of-a-kind Bowser figurine when gunshots echoed nearby. The sound caused panic and made everyone run for their lives. The gunshots were ongoing. Melody tried to rush to the nearest exit, but they kept pushing and pulling her. She saw it was no use in trying to get out. People were fearing for their lives. The young girl did the next best thing. She looked for someplace nearby to hide. Everyone was screaming and yelling. She couldn't focus well. She spotted one of the fake green pipes.

It was big enough for her to run in and hide while the authorities arrived. She sat down and hugged her knees when she got in the pipe. She hoped nobody would find her there. She didn't want to die. In her state of panic, she noticed the wind being sucked into the pipe. That was weird. The green tube was fake. How was it doing that? She looked inside the darker part of the green pipe. The wind was being sucked in. Was this meant to do this? Was it designed that way? Melody frowned. She didn't think it was supposed to do that. The young girl stood up and was about to walk to investigate if there was an exit through there. Before she could even take a step forward, she got sucked in. The brunette screamed as she was being pulled through what looked like white and pink skies. This was not possible! Melody kept on screaming at the top of her lungs.

"LUIGII!"

"MARIO!?" it surprised her to see the man in red.

"Give me your hand!" out of everything that happened to her, she definitely didn't expect Mario to be holding her hand. "It's all gonna be ok, sis!"

Melody was panicking for many reasons, "How is this gonna be ok!?" tears ran down her face.

"I'm telling you, nothing can hurt us as long as we're together!" Mario assured.

When he finished that sentence, the current pulled Melody towards another pipe "MARIOO!"

"LUIGIII!" was the last thing she heard before she got sucked into the Darklands pipe.

Melody woke up in a cold and dark forest. She quickly checked herself. Yes, she was still a girl. With her fake nose and mustache still intact. She quickly panicked and checked her pocket… good the glue remover was still there. She sighed in relief. Melody then noticed her surroundings. It was dark, creepy, and eerie. The Darklands were a lot scarier in person than in the actual movie. She remembered this part. It was where Luigi got chased by a lot of undead koopas. She was not excited about that part. Not one bit. Melody grabbed the flashlight and cautiously walked through the Darklands. She mumbled shakily, "This is just a dream… just a dream. A very…a very vivid one, but a dream none the less Melody." she tried to assure herself, "It's all in your head, maybe you got knocked out cold, and you're just dreaming all of this, OH MY GOD!"

Some bats flying out of a tree scared her, "please don't tell me I'm gonna find myself with undead koopas… AAH!"

Melody screamed when she spotted one, her flashlight turned off the moment she did, "no, no, no no!"

She panicked, looking back and forth from the flashlight and where she spotted an undead Koopa. She smacked and shook for the damn flashlight to work. "COME ON!"

Melody managed to get the flashlight back on. When she did, she saw it was way too close for comfort. The young girl screamed and ran for dear life, it chasing after her. She ran into a branch that pushed her back, knocking the undead Koopa and causing it to break into pieces, like in the movie. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but… HAHA! You just got a-Luigi'd!" she placed her hat on. She didn't wait until the undead Koopa reassembled itself, so she quickly let go of the skull to run for her life. Even though she got a head start, in a matter of seconds, the undead koopas were on her tail. She quickly jumped through the rocks that were over the lava. When she reached the other side, she quickly got in and shut the door. "That was close!" Now, she could definitely relax, "sigh…." However, she completely forgot about the shy guys "AAAAAHHH!"

***Le-time skip (because I'm lazy xD)***

Melody was being dragged by some shy guys towards Bowser's thrown. She got pulled roughly by the shy guy wearing a black mask. "we found him in the Darklands."

"hmph… Leave him to me" The koopa king stood from his chair and walked down the stairs toward her. Kamek let go of her bindings and moved her closer to Bowser.

"What is your name?" he asked curiously and twirled her around as she floated.

Melody thought it was for the best she didn't use her real name anymore. It seemed like it didn't belong to her anymore, and she replied, "Uh... Luigi" The girl came to terms. The young brunette was no longer that orphaned girl. She now adopted the identity of Mario's younger sister, Luigi, disguised as the original male character. How does she know this version of Luigi was a girl? Easy. Mario had confirmed it when he called her sis earlier that day.

Bowser got his face too close for comfort and continued, "Not sure if you know who I am, but I'm about to marry a Princess and rule the world."

(from now on, I'm going to be calling her Luigi and not Melody ^ ^)

Bowser glanced at his nails without a care in the world and placed one finger on her chin. Luigi gulped and stuttered, "Wow. Hehe... Yay…" For being one of her favorite characters, Bowser was pretty intimidating and bigger in person. The games did him no justice.

"But there's one problem, Luigi…" he said, fixing her green hat, "There's a human traveling with my fiancé, who has a mustache just like you…."

he moved her chin and twirled his finger on Luigi's fake mustache, "Do you know him?"

"No, no!" she denied, whimpering. Her mustache may be fake, but it certainly hurt one pulled in. She was unhappy about this part but had to follow the lines like in the movie. She didn't want to say anything else that might cause an untimely death.

"ah, tough one, I see. Maybe this will get you to talk" Bowser pulled one hairstring. It really hurt as bad as having a real one. At least, that's what she thought it felt like.

"You think I know every human being with a mustache, and a hat with a OW! With a letter of his first name on it, because I don't!" she replied in denial.

He pulled it out, and she gave a small yelp. He then grabbed her in one hand, and in his other, he pulled half her mustache and yelled angrily, "Do you know him!?"

Panicked and in pain, she replied, "Ah! Stop, stop, stop! Yes, I know him! Yeah, he's my brother Mario, and he's the best in the world!"

The king of the koopas kept tugging, "Do princesses find him attractive!?"

"They do if they have good taste!" she quickly replied.

Bowser ripped part of her fake mustache off and threw her to the ground. "Get him out of my sight! We'll see how tough this Mario is when he watches me kill his brother!"

(SpongeBob narrator voice) *a few moments later*

"AAAAHHH!" her cage was roughly thrown down. When the cell came to a stop, a thud was heard. She got hit in the head by the bottom of the cage, "ow…" she got up and stared down. "Great…lava. That isn't good…" the place was getting hot and fast, and she hadn't been here long. This was going to be one hellish waiting game…
