To all my readers: I chose to rewrite Alola because I wanted to do something different. Jordan still has Meeko, that wont change as her Pokemon partner. The different thing is Meeko will evolve into a Lucario. It will help with the Z-Crystal when I rewrite those chapters. I'm doing the franchise, from Kanto to Alola. The only region that I havent decided on is the Galar region, that's the only region up in the air right now. Before anyone asks, I'm currently at an in-between place for writing the movies right now and that includes the live action movie, Detective Pikachu.

I have already picked out my OC's Pokemon for each region already and if you don't like the way I'm writing each season, then you don't have to read it. I'm not going to force anyone of you to read my stories. Also, if you don't see any episodes that aired in Japan, it means that they didn't air that episode in the US.

Straight up, I get it, no one likes negative reviews, but I prefer positive reviews over the negative ones any day of the week. I also want everyone to know that I don't like being rushed. In an alley, Rapp and Black gathered around Tupp. "Huh? Hey." said Tupp, as they see a trainer with an Umbreon walk by. "Looks like we've got a customer."

"Should we go for it, Tupp?" asked Black.

"Yeah." he said, standing up and walk behind the trainer. "Hold up! Huh? You're ignoring me?"

"Anyone who ignores our leader is too big for their britches." said Black.

"All right, big man, you leave that Umbreon with us." said Rapp. He stops and looked over his shoulder at Tupp.

"You just gave me a glare, didn't you and since you made eye contact, that means time for some battle contact!" said Tupp.

"Garbodor!" shouted Black.

"Salandit, you're on!" said Tupp.

"You, too, Zubat." said Rapp.

"Lycanroc, show your crimson glare." said the blond trainer. "Let's go!"

"Lycanroc." growled the Midnight Lycanroc.

"Lycanroc? Could be a strong trainer!" said Black.

"I thought Umbreon was a good catch, but Lycanroc would be great!" said Rapp.

"All right, Salandit, use Venoshock!" said Tupp.

"Zubat, use Leech Life." said Rapp.

"Quick, Garbodor, use Sludge Bomb." said Black. All three Pokémon ran towards Lycanroc, ready for attack.

"Stone Edge….now." said the blond trainer and Lycanroc howled as it punches its arm into the air before hitting the ground, creating large blue stone to uproot and hitting Team Skull's Pokémon, causing them to gasp.

"Powerful." said Tupp.

"With just one attack." said Black.

"Oh! What just happened here?" asked Rapp as their Pokémon were knocked out and laying on the ground.

"Return!" shouted Tupp as they recalled their Pokemon. "We're getting out of here, full throttle!"

"You'll be sorry for this!" shouted Team Skull as they took off. The blond trainer didn't care as he recalled his Lycanroc. "Umbreon, let's go." he said.

"Umbre." said Umbreon. Soon as he and Umbreon left the alley, they walked past Team Rocket. "Hm." said Meowth, chomping on a malasada.

"Did you see that Lycanroc?" asked Jessie.

"Oh, yeah. Good thing it didn't see me." said James.

"That Lycanroc wasn't gonna stop until those three dorks were toast." said Meowth.

"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet.

"That Lycanroc's the definition of cool, which makes it a perfect fit for our evil brand of crime." said Jessie, getting an idea.

"Riddle me this." said James. "Who was that trainer with that similar brand of cool?"

"(munches on malasada) What we got here is an impressive blond kid who obviously needs checking out in a big way!" said Meowth.

"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet, knocking Meowth down.

Narrator: Alola! Another beautiful day for Ash, Jordan and their friends to be up and at some Pokémon battling.

Jordan: Yep and I'm battling Ash in the next round.

Narrator: Good for you, Jordan.

Jordan: Thanks, I need to get in the practice.

"Pika! Pika!" cheered Pikachu.

"(Trills)" trilled Rowlet as it flies into the air, with its leg stretched out.

"Here comes Rowlet. Dodge it!" said Ash. Rockruff jumps back as Rowlet crashes into the sand. Rowlet becomes stuck as it tries to get out of the sand.

"Rowlet, use Leafage and Rockruff, use Rock Throw." said Ash.

"Ruff!" barked Rockruff as Rowlet trills, struggling to get out of the sand. Rockruff howls as small rocks appeared around its tail. Rowlet finally gets itself free and starts using Leafage.

"Pika?" asked Pikachu. Rowlet silently appears behind Rockruff.

"When did Rowlet manage…." said Rotom.

"I don't know. Your guess is as good as mine." said Jordan, shocked.

"Lucario." said Meeko.

"Whoa! Be careful, Rockruff." said Ash. Soon as Ash said that, Rowlet used its powerful kick and knocks Rockruff back. "Pika?" asked Pikachu as Rockruff hits the sand.

"Take a break, Rockruff. Next up, its Litten versus Rowlet." said Ash.

"Litten." said Litten.

"That's no fair, Ash." Jordan said. "You said that you would battle me, next. Remember?"

"And I will." he tells her. "I just want to give Litten a chance."

"Hmm." said Jordan, crossing her arms.

"Cario." said Meeko, glaring at the boy.

"Mm?" said Ash as Rowlet heads straight for Litten.

"Ruff." said Rockruff, jumping over Litten and collided with Rowlet. "Ruff!"

"Yeah! Now you're really fired up, Rockruff." said Ash. "Okay, Rowlet, you take a break."

"I'm never gonna have a turn to train with my brother, will I?" asked Jordan, folding her arms.

"Lucar." said Meeko, shaking her head.

"Pika, Pika." said Pikachu, patting Jordan's leg.

"Thanks, Pikachu." said Jordan, scratching his head. "You're the best."

"Rowlet." trilled Rowlet.

"Pika! Pikachu! Pika!" said Pikachu, seeing Rowlet asleep.

"Rowlet, I hope you never change." said Jordan, shaking her head before getting up as Meeko followed her back to the house.

"Here we go!" said Ash. "Now, Rockruff, use Tackle! Litten, use scratch!"

"Litten!" shouted Litten as its claws grew and glowed, cancelling Rockruff's tackle.

"Litten, use Fire Fang!" shouted Ash. As Litten heads towards Rockruff with Fire Fang, Rockruff dodges. "Rockruff, use Rock Throw." Rockruff sends out Rock Throw, causing Litten to dodge. "Rockruff!" yipped Rockruff.

"All right, that's enough for now." said Ash, walking up behind Litten. "You guys had an amazing battle."

"(Meows)" said Litten.

"Ruff! Ruff!" said Rockruff, running up to Ash.

"Litten, your Fire Fang was the best." said Ash, rubbing Litten's face.

"Litt." said Litten.

"Rockruff, I could just feel how determined you were!" said Ash.

"Rockruff's Rock Throw has much more power now." said Rotom.

"Pika. Pika." said Pikachu as Rockruff jumps into Ash's arms, rubbing its rocks against him. Ash stands up and looks around to see that Jordan wasn't nearby. "Huh, I wonder where Jordan went." he said.

"Good question." said Rotom.

"Pika!" Pikachu called out to Jordan.

"Meeko isn't here either." said Ash, then holds Rockruff out from him. "That's enough training for now. Time for Pokémon school."

"Ruff! Ruff!" yipped Rockruff. At the Pokémon school, Jordan was sitting away from her brother at lunch.

"So cute." said Lana as the Pokémon followed Charjabug around the room. "Are they playing Charjabug Train?"

"Snowy's sure having a lot of fun." said Lillie as they continued to have fun.

"Hey Jordan, why don't you come sit with us?" Ash asked, seeing her working on something in her notebook.

"No thanks, Ash. I'm good where I'm at." she replied, not looking up.

"Okay, then." said Ash, looking crestfallen. The others looked at the siblings with concern on their faces. "Is there something going on with you two?" asked Kiawe, seeing Jordan's behavior as she ignores her brother.

"Did you guys have a fight?" asked Mallow.

"I don't think so." said Ash, then looks over at his sister who continued to write in her notebook.

"Maybe you should talk to her about it." said Lillie.

"You never know." said Lana.

"Yeah." said Ash.

"Hey, did you hear?" Sophocles asked the others. "They say there's this really strong Pokémon trainer who just arrived on the island."

"Yeah?" asked Kiawe. "A really strong Trainer? No kidding."

"I heard that!" said Mallow. "A customer was talking about it."

"So what did they say?" asked Ash.

"It's a guy, the Mysterious Lycanroc Trainer." said Mallow. "He's been seen with a Midnight form Lycanroc."

"Midnight form Lycanroc? That's so cool!" said Ash.

"Isn't that just one of the forms?" asked Lana.

"That's right!" said Rotom, showing Lycanroc in both forms. "Lycanroc can appear in Midnight form or Midday form."

"And another thing, they say he also has an Umbreon with him." added Sophocles.

"Wow! I'd love to battle that guy!" said Ash. "Maybe it'll happen someday."

In town, a Blastoise was knocked back into a fountain. "Blastoise!" shouted its trainer, as he looks back at the blond trainer. "How much power can one Pokémon have?"

"Blastoise!" bellowed Blastoise as it rose from the water in the fountain.

"Lycanroc!" growled Lycanroc, causing Blastoise to cower in fear.

"You've got to stay strong, Blastoise!" said Blastoise's trainer. "We can still win this thing!"

"Hey, Rotom? What were we supposed to buy again?" asked Ash as he, Jordan, Meeko, Pikachu and Rockruff were walking by.

"The professor asked for a bag of Alolan coffee beans, some fresh Pinap juice, a Gulpin-brand zipper lock bags, and some Persian brand short pasta." said Rotom.

"Did he say what brand of Alolan coffee beans, Rotom?" asked Jordan. Just before Rotom could answer, Pikachu sees a battle going on.

"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu, gaining their attention.

"Hey, what's that?" asked Ash, looking in the direction of what Pikachu was looking at.

"Let's go!" said Rotom as they followed Pikachu.

"Pi! Pi! Pi! Pi! Pi! Pi!"

"All right, Blastoise, use Skull Bash!" shouted the trainer as he punches the air.

"Blastoise!" bellowed Blastoise, jumping into the air and withdrawing its head.

"Lycanroc, Counter!" said the blond trainer. Light blue light surrounded Lycanroc as it punches Blastoise in the stomach and knocks it back.

"Aw. We…" said the trainer as the dust settles around Blastoise. "we lost badly."

"Blastoise's weight is estimated at over 200 pounds, but Lycanroc beat it easily!" said Rotom.

"Wow!" said Jordan.

"Awesome!" said Ash as Rockruff whines in awe.

"Lucario!" said Meeko, shocked.

"Data update complete!" said Rotom, taking pictures of Lycanroc. "Since he has both a Lycanroc and an Umbreon, I estimate the chances are 99.95% this person is the Mysterious Lycanroc Trainer."

"All right!" said Jordan and Ash.

"But Ash, wait!" said Rotom as Ash runs ahead of his sister, dragging her along.

"Whoa!" said Jordan, being dragged by her brother.

"Hi! I'm Ash from Pallet Town and this is my sister Jordan." said Ash, running up to the trainer. "I think that battle you just had was incredible! So maybe someday you and I could have…."

"Gladion?" Lillie called out.

"Pika? Cario?" said Pikachu and Meeko.

"Lillie?" asked Ash and Jordan as she runs toward the crowd.

"Who knew this Mysterious Lycanroc Trainer was my big brother?" asked Lillie, running up and catching her breath.

"Brother? You're kidding, right?" asked Ash and Jordan, shocked.

"So that guy and Lillie are siblings?" asked Rotom.

"You can touch Pokémon now." said Gladion, noticing Snowy in his sister's arms. "I'm glad to see that."

"Thanks. I'd like to introduce you to Snowy." said Lillie, then looked at Snowy. "And this is my brother, Gladion."

"Vul!" said Snowy.

"Master Gladion, Lillie has been raising this Pokémon ever since it was an egg and this is the first time a Pokémon has ever been in her charge." Hobbes explained.

"I see. Take good care of it." said Gladion, turning away as Lillie gasps.

"Master Gladion." said Hobbes. "It's been so long since you've been home, so I was hoping you'd come with us back to the mansion."

"Not this time, Hobbes." he said. "See you, Lillie."

"Gladion!" Lillie called out to her brother.

"Wait a minute!" said Ash as starts chasing after Gladion. "I was hoping we could have a battle! I want to become a Pokémon Master. And so I want to have a battle with all the awesome trainers in the Alola region!"

"That's a Z-Ring?" asked Gladion.

"Both my sister and I got it directly from Tapu Koko, too!" said Ash, showing his Z-Ring.

"Tapu Koko? Your sister, huh?" he asked, stopping and looking back over his shoulder, seeing Jordan following them.

"Right!" said Ash.

"I hate being the younger sibling!" said Jordan as she caught up with them, hunched over as she catches her breath.

"Lucario. Rio, Rio." said Meeko.

"So, she's your sister, right?" Gladion asked seeing how young Jordan is.

"Yep." replied Ash.

"I'm his only sister." said Jordan, before falling to the ground. "Believe me, being his sister most of the time gets annoying."

"That's not all." said Lillie. "Jordan and Ash even had battles with Tapu Koko."

"Battles?" asked Gladion.

"Ruff!"

"Pikachu!"

"Lucario!"

"I'll consider it!" said Gladion and walks with Umbreon.

"Ah, Jordan and I are staying at Professor Kukui's house." said Ash. "It's the big one that's right on the water. We're always there."

Lillie stares longingly after her brother as he walks away. "You see, my brother left home a little over six months ago." Lillie explained to Ash and Jordan. "He said that he wanted to train by himself."

"Did he tell you what kind of training?" asked Rotom.

"Master Gladion wanted to improve upon his Pokémon battling skills, and ruminate upon his life." explained Hobbes, setting down several bowls of Pokémon food. "At least, that's what I came to understand."

"Oh, man, that's cool." said Ash.

"But…" said Lillie.

"But, what?" asked both siblings.

"My Gladion's so sweet." she said. "My brother has always been very gentle and kind, but today, he acted like he was a different person altogether."

"Vul." said Snowy, walking up to Lillie and jumps into her lap. "Vul!"

"Oh!" said Lillie, then giggles for a moment.

"This reminds me of a similar scene that I witnessed once." said Hobbes. "The day when young Master Gladion brought an injured Eevee home with him."

[Flashback]

Hobbes was cleaning a side of a blue vase when he heard Gladion call out to him. "Hobbes! Hobbes!" Gladion called out.

"Huh?" Hobbes turned to look out the window and sees Gladion carrying an Eevee in his arms.

"Eevee." Eevee said weakly. Hobbes rushes out and towards Gladion.

"What have we here?" he asked Gladion.

"When I found it in the tall grass, it was hurt and crying." said Gladion. "Please do something to help it get better."

"Eevee." cried Eevee as Hobbes takes it from Gladion's arms.

"There, there Eevee." said Hobbes. "Young Master Gladion, I commend your compassion! I suggest immediate first aid and then we'll whistle it off to Nurse Joy."

"Can Nurse Joy help?" asked Gladion. "Say she can, please Hobbes?"

"Of course she can." replied Hobbes, smiling at him. "Rest assured, my young man."

[Flashback ends]

"I never knew." said Lillie.

"Now I know why Gladion has an Umbreon." said Jordan with Meeko next to her.

"Lucar!" said Meeko.

"The truth is, you were a very small child at the time and I doubt you would remember any of it." said Hobbes. "But there's no doubt that Master Gladion is a very generous person at heart."

"Yeah, he must be." said Ash. "Remember what he said about Snowy."

"I see. Take good care of it." said Gladion.

"He wanted you to take care of her." Ash said. "He's a good guy, that's for sure!"

"He's someone cool." said Jordan.

"Oh! Aw, thank you so much, you two." said Lillie. "And you too, Hobbes."

"So, Blastoise was overpowered, huh?" Kukui asked Ash and Jordan that night, washing the dishes. "That's amazing!"

"Pikachu! Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu as he played with Rockruff.

"Ruff!" yipped Rockruff as it jumps into Litten, who meowed and hissed in retaliation. "Ruff!"

Rockruff then goes and pounces onto Rowlet, who then hoots angrily. "Hey, Professor?" Ash asked, gaining his attention. "Do you know what's going on with Jordan?"

"What do you mean?" he asked as Rockruff jumps into his arms. "Huh?"

"Ruff!" yipped Rockruff.

"I mean…Jordan started to become very distant today and I don't know why." Ash explained, looking over at his sister who then came out of the bathroom with Meeko, who was in a specially made pjs.

"Well, she is your sister." said Kukui. "Sometimes siblings will either need their space or be very clingy."

"Hm…" said Ash, thinking for a moment as he starts to walk away when suddenly Rockruff jumps on his head and starts barking while rubbing its rocks against him.

"Let me guess. I'd say, Rockruff has become a big fan of that Lycanroc, hasn't it?" asked Professor Kukui, walking around the counter.

"Well, that was the coolest Lycanroc I've ever seen with Jordan." said Ash, holding Rockruff, causing the rock-type puppy to rub its rocks against him even harder. "Hey, cut it out! That hurts!"

As the moon shone across the water, a Wimpod scurried across the sand. Ash, Jordan, Pikachu and Meeko were fast asleep when suddenly, Umbreon banged on the window above them, causing the three Pokémon to wake up.

"Cario?" Meeko asked sleepily with her hands raised.

"Pi? Pika?" asked Pikachu, looking up to see Umbreon with a note in its mouth. "Pika! Pi! Pikachu!" Pikachu then turns to Meeko. "Pika, Pika, Pik." he said, pointing to Jordan.

"Lucario." she said, then starts to wake Jordan up.

"Pika! Pika! Pika! Pika! Pika! Pika!" Pikachu said as he hopped on Ash to wake him up.

"I'm up. I'm up. What time is it?" said Jordan, looks over at her brother before looking up at Umbreon. "Please forgive my brother, Umbreon. He's a real heavy sleeper."

"Chu!" shouted Pikachu, shocking Ash in his sleep.

"Welcome to the Pikachu shock alarm clock, Alola region edition." Jordan said to her brother, grunting and groaning from the shock. "Where Pikachu shocks my brother just so that he would wake up."

"Hey, what was that for?" Ash asked Pikachu.

"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu.

"You have a visitor, sleepy head." said Jordan as she, Meeko and Pikachu pointed up at Umbreon.

"Huh?" said Ash, then looks up. Umbreon then drops the note Gladion gave it into the house. "Whats this?" Ash asked, grabbing the note and reading it. "Huh! All right!"

"What is it, Ash? What is it?" asked Rotom, hearing Ash's loud voice.

"Whatever was on the note, must have been from Gladion." said Jordan, glaring at her brother as Rowlet slept through the noise.

"Look sharp!" said Jessie as a shade of pink starts to fill the sky. "The Pokémon won't wait forever!"

"However, I don't see any reason to get up at the crack of dawn." said James, yawning with Meowth and Wobbuffet.

"I do. If Bewear finds us before we swoop in, its game over for the day." said Jessie, with her hands on her hips. "We do what we please while Bewear gets some Zs."

"Huh?" said Team Rocket.

"Isn't that…." said James, seeing Gladion and his Umbreon by the ocean.

"Yup. It's that blond trainer from before." said Meowth.

"What's he doing here?" asked Jessie.

"To tell the truth, I haven't a clue." said James, then looks out into the ocean to see the sun rising. "But look! Behold the Alolan sunrise!"

"Pretty." said Jessie.

"So blatantly beautiful, it makes my heart hurt." said James.

"So shiny, it feels like my Charm's getting buff waxed by the universe!" added Meowth.

"Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet.

"Gladion!" Ash called out as he and Jordan ran out on the sand. "Got your note. Thank you."

"I asked you here so I could test you both on your battling skills," said Gladion. "see what Tapu Koko sees in you both."

"Finally! Someone, other than my brother, that can help with my battling skills." said Jordan.

"Hey!" shouted Ash.

"What? You didn't let me have a battle with you yesterday, and now I get to have a battle today." said Jordan. "There's nothing wrong with something like that." Behind them, Team Rocket pops up to see what was going on. "Enter the Twerps." said Jessie.

"But why are they with him?" asked James.

"A Twerp convention?" questioned Meowth.

"All right, Rockruff! Time to battle!" said Ash.

"You too, Leilani!" said Jordan.

"Lycanroc, show your crimson glare." said Gladion. "Let's go!"

"Ruff!" barked Rockruff.

"Piki." squeaked Leilani.

"Now, I know you're battling your hero, Lycanroc, so give it your best shot." said Ash.

"Ruff!" said Rockruff.

"Some catch." said Jessie. "The chance to steal a Midnight form Lycanroc, plus the Twerps Pikachu and Meeko at the very same time!"

"Like the old saying says, the early evil team catches the pick of the primo Pokémon." said Meowth.

"Or they that patiently persevere, prime the pump and prosper." said James.

"Wobbuffet." said Wobbuffet.

"Okay, Rockruff, use Bite!" said Ash. Rockruff runs around Lycanroc before biting its arm. Soon enough, Lycanroc throws Rockruff back. "Leilani, use Supersonic!" said Jordan.

"Pikipek!" screeched Leilani, generating sound from her small body towards Lycanroc, causing it to place its hands on its ears before jumping into the air and headbutting it.

"Rock Throw!" shouted Ash as Rockruff throws small rocks at Lycanroc.

"Stone Edge, now!" said Gladion and Lycanroc howls as it pounds its paw into the sand, raising the rocks to the surface.

"Quick, dodge it!" shouted Ash as Rockruff's Rock Throw makes contact.

"Leilani, dodge and use Bullet Seed!" shouted Jordan.

"Piki!" screeched Leilani and protrudes seeds from her beak, breaking some of Lycanroc's Stone Edge from the ground.

"Good job, Jordan." said Ash.

"Thanks. Maybe next time you'll let me have a turn." said Jordan.

"Crunch, now!" shouted Gladion as Lycanroc chases Rockruff alongside its Stone Edge before quickly running in front of Rockruff, who then yelps in shock. A piece of Stone Edge makes contact with Rockruff, knocking it into the air.

"Piki!" shouted Leilani, taking Rockruff into her claws but was knocked to the side by Lycanroc who grabs the puppy with its mouth.

Rockruff was then dropped to the ground next to Leilani, groaning in pain. "Rockruff, Leilani, no!" said Ash and Jordan.

"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Lucario!" said Meeko. Both Rockruff and Leilani jumped back up, glaring at Lycanroc. "Yeah, that's the spirit." said Ash. Suddenly a net was shot off, heading towards Lycanroc and the others. "Pika?" asked Pikachu, seeing the net hitting him, Lycanroc, Meeko and Leilani.

"Huh?" said Ash as tires screeched against the sand.

"Pikachu! Pika!" shouted Pikachu.

"Lucario! Lucar!" shouted Meeko.

"Piki!" screeched Leilani as Lycanroc grunts.

"Who are you?" Gladion asked.

"The new kid asked something? Prepare to find out." said Jessie.

"Noble answers are what we're all about!" said James.

"The beauty so radiant, the flowers and moon hide in shame. A single flower of evil in this fleeting world. Jessie!"

"The nobly heroic man of our times! The master of darkness fighting back against a tragic world! Its James."

"It's all for one and one for all! A glittering dark star that always shines bright! Dig it, while Meowth takes flight!"

"Team Rocket, lets fight!" said Jessie and James.

"I'll bite, that's right!" said Meowth.

"Wobbuffet!" said Wobbuffet.

"It's Team Rocket again!" said Rotom.

"Gladion, meet our enemy, Team Rocket of Kanto." said Jordan, glaring at Team Rocket in disbelief. "Really? You guys are doing it at this hour? Don't you guys ever sleep in?"

"I would but you know how it is, kid." said Meowth.

"True, but if I was training you, I would have woken you up a little differently." said Jordan.

"Give Pikachu, Meeko, Lycanroc and Leilani back right now!" demanded Ash.

"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu.

"Lucario" said Meeko.

"Lycanroc!" growled Lycanroc.

"Not today. This is a free island, for us." said Jessie.

"Tally ho!" said James, getting behind the wheel.

"Away we go!" said Team Rocket as they sped away.

"(Grunts) Come back!" shouted Ash and Jordan as they chased after Team Rocket.

"Ruff! Ruff!" barked Rockruff.

"Lycanroc." said Lycanroc as Rockruff catches up to the truck.

"Pika! Pika!" Pikachu said to Rockruff.

"Rio, Lucario!" said Meeko.

"Way to go, Rockruff!" said Ash as they continue to go after Team Rocket. "Now, grab a hold of that net!"

"And don't let go!" said Jordan.

"Ruff!" yipped Rockruff as it grabs ahold of the net, trying to free the others.

"Hey! We've got company, with sharp pearly whites!" said Meowth, seeing Rockruff dangling from the net.

"Big spirit, sharp teeth." said James.

"Can we please take some action?" Jessie asked, appearing at the driver side of the car.

"Yes, Ma'am." he replied as he tries to get Rockruff to let go of the net.

"Quick, Umbreon, Dark Pulse, go!" shouted Gladion.

"Bre! Bre! Bre! Bre! Bre! Bre! Bre!" shouted Umbreon as it sends out dark energy balls from its head, blasting one of the truck's tires. Rockruff howls as it uses Bite to free its friends and Lycanroc from the net.

"Pika! Riol! Piki!" said Pikachu and the others as they and Lycanroc run back to their trainers.

"Rockruff!" shouted Ash as it was knocked back to them.

"Lycanroc." said Lycanroc.

"Ruff! Ruff!" barked Rockruff.

"Pikachu! Lucario!" said Pikachu and Meeko.

"Lycan!" replied Lycanroc.

"Come on, you let them get away." said Jessie.

"I didn't exactly let them." said James.

"Pika!" shouted Pikachu as Team Rocket gasped.

"Okay, Pikachu, use…" said Ash but Gladion steps in.

"Would it be alright if we handled it from here on out?" he asked.

"Please do." said Jordan, gesturing to Team Rocket. "It would actually give us a break from sending them flying."

"Rio, Lucario." Meeko said to Lycanroc, who nodded in response.

"Huh…" said Ash.

"Pika." said Pikachu.

"Here we go." said Gladion.

"Roc." said Lycanroc. Both Lycanroc and Gladion start using a Z-Move. "The blue moon's Z-Power washes over us and the crumbling world…." said Gladion. "then seals it up! (grunts) Now!"

"Lycanroc!" growled Lycanroc as Gladion's energy went over to it.

"Get ready! Use Continental Crush!" shouted Gladion as Lycanroc jumps up into the air, creating a huge boulder from the rocks below.

"Oh! What is that?" asked Jessie as the boulder starts to head their way.

"I don't know. But I don't like it." said James. Ash, Jordan and their Pokémon gasped at the powerful Z-Move.

"Lycanroc!" shouted Lycanroc, throwing Continental Crush at Team Rocket, causing them to scream in terror.

"We're blasting off again!" screamed Team Rocket.

"Finally!" said Jordan. "It's good to see them blast off for a while."

"You said it, Jordan." said Ash.

"Pika."

"Lucario."

Suddenly Bewear jumps off a palm tree and catches Team Rocket. "I spoke too soon this time." said Jordan as Ash, Pikachu and Meeko nodded in shame.

"Now there's a news flash." said Team Rocket as Bewear sings through the air.

"Gladion, I want to try a Rock type Z-Move too." said Ash.

"You have a Rock type Z-Crystal?" asked Gladion, looking at both brother and sister.

"I wish." said Jordan.

"Nope." said Ash.

"Oh." he then said. "Go through the Island challenge and pass the Akala Island grand trial."

"Right! We'll pass the grand trial for sure!" said Ash. "What do you say? Are you in?"

"You know that I am." said Jordan.

"Pikachu! Lucario!" said Pikachu and Meeko.

"Ruff! Ruff!" said Rockruff.

"Pikipek!" said Leilani.

"Good. Let's finish this." said Gladion.

"Gladion!" Lillie called out to her brother, gaining his attention.

"Hm?" said the boys. "It's Lillie."

"Perfect timing." said Jordan.

"You must hurry!" said Rotom. "It's almost time for Pokémon school to begin!"

"Uh-oh." said Jordan.

"It's really that late?" asked Ash.

"What a shame." said Gladion. "We'll have to finish this later. And I find it difficult with my sister watching me."

"Okay, sure. Just let us know when." said Ash.

"The look in your Rockruff's eyes. I like it." Gladion said to Ash, shaking his hand.

"Huh."

"It's similar to the look in Lycanroc's eyes." he then said with a smile.

"You think so?" asked Ash. "Thanks."

Rockruff barks as it runs up to Lycanroc. "Lycanroc." said Lycanroc, placing its paw on Rockruff's head.

"Ruff!" barked Rockruff.

"It was a good battle." said Jordan, causing Lycanroc to look up at her.

"Lycan, Lycanroc." it said, patting her head.

"Lucario." Meeko said to Lycanroc, then both Pokémon fist bump each other.

"Pika! Pika!" Pikachu added as Gladion takes his leave.

Narrator: Ash has a new rival, Gladion, but when will they find the time to finish the battle and who will emerge victorious? The answers to come.

Jordan: Straight up, I would rather have Gladion be Ash's new rival than Gary Oak.

Narrator: Why, Jordan?

Jordan: Remember what Gary wrote on the sign when Ash first started his Pokémon journey? You know…the one that was pointing us in the direction to the Cerulean Gym?

Narrator, remembering what Gary had written: Oh yeah….

"Ash! Jordan! Where is my brother?" Lillie asked as Lillie catches up to Jordan and Ash.

"Gladion left already." said Ash.

"He went that way." said Jordan, pointing the direction of where he went.

"Aw! And here I thought that I could force him to come home for one day!" Lillie huffed out in frustration. "Right, Snowy?"

"Vul!" said Snowy.

"Hm!" said Ash.
