An Operator's Misadventures In Amphibia (AO MIA)
Author's LONG note: If ya reading this, that meant you have already watched all Amphibia's 3 seasons when the last season ended in 5/14/2022 which had been a year starting today. As well as learnt the various stuffs from Marcy's Journal - A Guide to Amphibia (softcover, hardcover & signed hardcover ones) that given you the hindsight.
Yes Amphibia had already been finished, was it overall a good show? For some of you maybe, while for me sort of… Until S3 messed up BIG TIME which most possibly be Disney's fault & being rush meant not quite enjoyable compared to its previous 2 seasons. This caused me to make this Amphibia Alternate Universe (AU) fanfiction with some different results. More than 2 years ago in 1/21/2021 I had the idea Anne has an older bro Anthony 'Jack' Boonchuy (he's inspired by many real US military veterans from regular grunts to special forces/special operations forces operators) who's around his 20s (23-28 years old, though best maybe 28) in 2019AD is a hardened experienced jack of all trades man from the 21st century US military's US Army Special Forces AKA Green Berets within the 1st Special Force Group (Alpha) unit being teleported to Amphibia as well with his K9 dog (a Dutch Shepard call Khan, named after Genghis Khan, AKA Chinggis Khan), his Toyota technical (a heavily modified+geared technical for use by US Special Forces/Special Operations Forces units either a Toyota Hilux, Land Cruiser or Tacoma model) & a tactical trailer (originally packed with various stuffs that was meant for Ant's 12 men A-team for around few weeks (give or take). Which he could sparingly use said supplies for around 5 months when not on Earth) so even Anne, Plantars as well as specific people that Ant trusted could use those stuffs. Despite some important stuff from Marcy's Journal (finally received this Gallery Nucleus signed hardcover version on 8th Mar, 22 though I already got a legit digital version of the journal months ago from another source), I won't use every one of those offscreen details in there & totally not going to have Mr. X cover up this "Frog-vasion" but only saying he mentioned then quickly shot down as VERY awful garbage idea because that's post 9/11 US so not cover the situation at all. Other than that, this fanfic is indirectly inspired by the various reddit users' comments, Amphibia wikia users & other fanfic writers that given me the motivations plus ideas to make this extremely not kids friendly fanfic.
Truth though I'm a regular civilian, I would try my best to make this fanfic closer to home in almost realistic terms & not most generic "Isekai"/ "Portal Fiction" crap while also have some fun wholesome moments, pop culture references with maybe some 4th Wall Breaks (not 100% guaranteed). Yet due to having loads of work & not an American nor Thai having literally no military+no political experiences meant this might take a while to finish. Despite these issues, I'll try my best to fill in accurate details during that time with the various items Anthony brought with as well as possibly balance things up both grounded 'common' sense and entertaining.
Mind you this fanfic doesn't give a crap to most if not all shipping (straights & non straights) as they're irreverent and story wise the least interesting, so only mentioned and shown shortly for the original characters as backgrounds only...
Without further ado let's get into this fanfic having mostly 3rd person perspectives shall we?

"Hello dear readers, I'm Pete the creator of this alternate universe version Amphibia story- "An Operator's Misadventures In Amphibia" (AO MIA). As you can see the title this is 1 alternate scenario of infinite ones that would happen if Anne Boonchuy isn't the only child in the Boonchuy family but has an older adult brother that would not just protects his younger sis in another alien world far from anywhere on Earth plus learns to trust some others even if there's risks. Also, S3 is beyond disappointing to me as I theorized Disney messed up Matt's show.
Anyways let the Guardian narrates this alternative situation for the Thai teen girl if she's not the only Boonchuy teleported to Amphibia plus I'm not good at narrating TBH. P.S. it's inspired by the MCU's What If show. So let's start shall we Guardian?".
Guardian: "Ugh fine as you really prefer this scenario that's not quite heart warming, gritty 'realistic', bloody, dramatic, & quite political to say the least meant it's VERY not kids friendly story if you ask me…".
"Oh come on Guardian stop being a fxxing killjoy already & let's get this going! Or else I'll get rid the Deus Ex Machina crap you did in the original timeline!".
The Guardian: "Alright got it & please language! So here goes.". 'Breath in'. 'breath out'.
The Guardian continues: "Time. Space. Reality. It's more than a linear path. It's a prism of endless possibility, where a single choice can branch out into infinite realities, creating alternate worlds from the ones you know. I am the Guardian. I am your guide through these vast new realities. Follow me, and ponder the question... What if? What if Anne Boonchuy isn't the only girl with Sasha Waybright & Marcy Wu teleported to Amphibia by the Calamity Box with the 3 Calamity Gems but also with a family member who's thousands of miles away somewhere in Thailand from her home city Los Angeles, California, USA being teleported to Amphibia too? Well this family member of hers is her older adult brother Anthony 'Jack' Boonchuy, who's an experienced US Army Special Forces Operator within a 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) 12-men Alpha Team though had some secrets with experience not great to share with till in Amphibia. He would be equipped with the various items more than the 3 girls combined not just well prepared for this long journey home when trapped on another world but him having a specific yellow gem similar looks yet entirely different to the original 3 could sort of help him by indirectly to directly means as times goes on. Nonetheless this journey would not just change himself but also the various types of people around him for better or worse.".
