I flew around the corner into the shop, noting the sound of metal hitting metal. Ray looked up from his work once the breeze hit him. "Oh, hello Morro, what is it you need?" I pulled out my sword from its sheath. "You got a blade sharpener?" Ray let out a sarcastic laugh. "Of course, what kind of blacksmith would I be if I didn't!" He threw a sharpener over to me which I caught with ease. We both worked in silence for a moment before he spoke up. "I haven't realized how quiet it is until now, where did everyone else go?" I hummed. "Nya is on patrol with Jay, Cole is helping his dad with something real quick, and Zane went to go get something for Pixel to cheer her up after yesterday." I stated. "So really, only Kai, Lloyd, me and the adults are here right now." I finished with a small smile. Ray scoffed, "I'm not that old." I snickered. "You're right, Wu's older." The clinking metal stopped as Ray burst into laughter. "I like you, kid!" I looked up from my blade as he put his hammer down. "I should take a break and check on Maya. Coming with?" I nodded, putting my sword down on the table before following him out to the courtyard. Kai and Lloyd were training together without any weapons or powers, just using each other as punching bags in attempts to exercise their hits. Lloyd ducked as Kai swung again. Maya and Misaco were watching them as they drank some tea, chatting idly. Ray walked over to Kai in silence before speaking up. "Adjust your stance a bit, you want your legs separated a bit more so you can turn your body with the hit." Ray quickly demonstrated for Kai and Lloyd, earning a small smile from them both as they went back to their punches in the newer stance, both landing hits as the other tried to dodge. I followed Ray over to the two women. "Hey hun, how are you feeling?" He sat beside Maya, and I moved next to Misaco, giving her a small smile. "Better than yesterday." Misaco hummed. "That's good, it's nice to know you're doing better. How are you doing, Deary, we know how Wu can get at times." She glanced at me, taking a sip of her tea. "Oh, it was actually not too bad last night, we meditated for a but before talking about some things that we needed to get off our chests. Could have been worse I suppose." I mumbled, tracing circles on the table. Misaco opened her mouth to respond but was interrupted by a loud sound, almost like metal hitting stone rang through our ears in harmony with two startled shouts. We all snapped our heads in the direction of the two training who both stood there with their arms raised in defense, the large metal dragon statue that normally sat at the top of the pole in the middle of the training yard between them. Ray muffled a laugh with his hand while Misako just shook her head in amusement. Maya giggled as she got up to start heading towards them. "Now how did you both manage to do that?" She teased as Kai and Lloyd just gave each other nervous glances before looking around confused. "We didn't." Lloyd stated simply. A door opened beside us, "what happened; we heard a loud crash?" Garmadon, followed by Wu, Libber and Lily stepped into the yard, quickly spotting the statue on the ground. Garmadon let out a sigh, putting his hand over his face. Maya giggled again before pulling Kai into a side hug, messing with his hair. "These two somehow managed to knock that thing off while sparing. Don't ask me how, we weren't really paying attention to them." Lloyd just threw his hand out again. "As I said, we didn't! We weren't even near the pole, it just landed in front of us!" I stepped out of the area we were in, glancing up at the sky for a moment quickly noting the red color before looking back down as Maya pulled away from Kai. Wait a minute, the sky's red… It's midday, my head back up to the sky as two cages started dropping at a rapid pace, I quickly glanced back down to where they were aiming, starting to use my wind with a shout. "Maya, Kai look out!" I sent a large gust their way to push them back before- the sound of metal clashing with stone filled our ears once more, an echo of discordant harmony filled our ears as everyone cried out at the sudden invasion of the ship in the sky. Above us wasn't a red sky, no, it was a massive metal ship. The scary part wasn't its size, which was spanning the width of the monastery plus more. The scary part was you couldn't hear its engines yet it was flying, we couldn't hear it sneaking up on us. "Maya!", "Kai" multiple voices shouted out, catching my attention again. Everyone had equipped themselves with their weapons as they desperately tried to free them from the cages, everything they did wasn't doing anything. Kai and Maya desperately tried to break their way out from the inside but their efforts seemed even more in vain than ours. A clicking sound rang out as the cages slowly started rising. "Oh no" I dove for the sky, summoned my dragon and had him shoot his fire at the chain in hopes of breaking it without hurting Maya or Kai. I heard the others shouting below me and flame roaring in the dragon pen below. It didn't take long for another dragon to join us in the skies as Ray had removed Flame from his pen and was on top of him, trying to break Kai's chain as well. I glanced up, noting how close the cages were getting to the gap open to take them inside. "Ray, we don't have much time!" I screamed out, increasing the amount of my blast. The chain slowly started to melt, I could see the metal warping, it was almost broken, just a few more moments and- a blast filled my ears, my dragon roared and we fell. My vision blurred, ears ringing as I saw a red blob fall beside me. A few seconds later, though it felt like hours; my vision returned and I saw the cages be pulled through the gap, Kai and Maya shouting for us in a panic, quickly I spotted the thrusters and spun back up, haunting my fall with my wind before catapulting myself for them, I pulled my sword out and raised it, ready to stab the thrusters as I quickly approached them at an alarming speed, they were quickly in my reach and I swung down- the ship speed off at a speed that was hard to comprehend, the speed that only one person we knew could go. I froze, floating in the spot I was for a few moments, I didn't even notice the frustrated scream that left my lips because my own was interrupted by Ray's, causing my attention to advert back to the monastery where Flame layed roaring in pain, along with my dragon beside him. I flew back down to them, patting my dragon on the head as he let out a small, weak roar. His tail wrapping around me as if trying to give me a hug. More roars filled out ears as the others returned unknowing of the hell that just filled the monastery just moments before.
