Princess Kurama tries one last time to find herself the perfect man to be her mate. She sees a news broadcast revealing the existence of Yokai to the humans of the world. But what catches her attention most is the handsome, heroic and powerful vampire Tsukune Aono. (Takes place after Urusei Yatsura and within the 10-month timeskip of the Rosario + Vampire finale. Also serves as a sequel of sorts to my other fanfic "An (Old) Vampire Friend". Both take place in the same universe as "Trying A New Hand at Love". I do not own "Rosario + Vampire" or "Urusei Yatsura". All rights belong to Akihisa Ikeda and Rumiko Takahashi respectively.

This story was just written for fun.

"Well that was a complete waste of time." Princess Kurama of the Karasutengu (a race of "crow goblins" from space) says, irritated.

She stomps down the halls of her ship accompanied by the Elder and her four servants. The four servants resemble earth crows, except that they are wearing red caps on their heads as well as white shirts with green vests. Their wings are on their backs while they have human-shaped arms and legs. The Elder has a long white beard and wears a red vest rather than a green one.

Unlike her servants (and all other Karasutengu outside of the royal family) Kurama resembles a beautiful humanoid woman, albeit with pointy ears and a pair of green crow wings on the sides of her head. She has short black hair and is dressed in a black leotard that fits tightly on her perfect hourglass figure. Her leotard also has a very deep v-neck, exposing her cleavage. However, her leotard and patches of skin along her arms and exposed shapely legs have burn marks from coming into contact with live wires.

"We honestly thought that he would be the one, princess." Crow Servant 1 says.

"He was reasonably handsome. He said he was looking for a wife too." Crow Servant 2 adds.

"Yes, that's why you brought him to me." Kurama says.

She remembers her servants showing her a picture of a young man named Shingo. She liked his appearance and told her servants to bring him to her chambers. Which they did by leading him onto her ship with a TV.

Being a member of the royal family, Kurama could only mate with fellow humanoid Karasutengu to ensure the continuation of her bloodline. However, as humanoid Karasutengu became more and more scarce on her planet, her ancestors needed to find mates off world, particularly on earth. Her own mother sired her centuries ago with the great warrior Yoshitsune Minamoto. Then when Kurama came of age, as per ancient tradition, she was placed in suspended animation with the law being that whichever man woke her up from her slumber with a kiss would be the man she would mate with. But only one time, for the sole purpose of having children. However, after her servants relocated her to earth the man that awoke her was unfortunately Ataru Moroboshi. Kurama rejected him and decided to find a mate herself, and she would accept nothing less than the most perfect man (physically and mentally fortified). But she hasn't had much luck. Shutaro Mendo had exceptional attractiveness, but he was pathetically scared of the dark. Ryuunosuke was handsome and skilled, but turned out to be a girl. Rei was handsome, but dumb as a post, gluttonous and turned into a tiger-cow. Then, she was willing to try Shutaro's guard, Shingo.

"He didn't even notice I was there until we turned that box off. And then he tried to take ME back to HIS place." Kurama says irritably.

She remembers yelling at Shingo to get his attention as he watches TV. Then, when he finally noticed her when she used the remote to turn it off, Shingo ran out of the ship with a furious Kurama in his arms as her servants chased after them.

"You know, I heard that Ataru guys mellowed out alot-" Crow Servant 3 suggests.

"No!" Kurama and the other servants shout at once.

"With all due respect princess, perhaps you're being a bit picky?" The Elder asks. "I mean you don't even have to marry these men, you just have to get pregnant. Lately I've been thinking, things have changed a lot on earth. If you refuse to lay with every man we bring you then we could just genetically engineer the perfect children for you."

Kurama sighs and sits in her chair.

"Maybe you're right." Kurama admits, reaching for the remote. "I've been on this planet forever now and I haven't liked any of the men I've met, for long at least. I always imagined that the man that would father my children, even if it was just for a night, would be like my father. Strong, brave, handsome, has a warrior spirit, perfect in every way. But it seems there are just no good men left in this universe." Kurama says, turning on the TV.

She is on the news channel. The headline reads: "Monsters Rampage In Minato!" While showing footage of a gigantic bipedal monster/kaiju with tentacles coming out of its back fighting a girl with wings that is releasing a sonic scream, a man with long back hair and a third eye on his forehead as well as a man with horns and sharp claws. The winged girl releases screams that destroy some of the tentacles while the two men work together to beat around the kaiju.

"I'm coming to you live from the town of Minato Mirai." Says the news reporter from a helicopter as the rampage is filmed from above. "Hours ago, a gigantic fortress fell from the sky and from it emerged what can only be described as a kaiju of monstrous appearance. Shortly afterward, this kaiju demolished the air force and military, thank god the city was notified of a disaster well beforehand and everyone was safely evacuated. What's more is that this monster is currently being attacked by a group of beings that resemble the mythological Siren, Yasha and Kishin. While their efforts have been…helpful, the giant monstrosity still retains its edge."

Kurama watches the news with interest.

"Wow, I wasn't aware that earth had such creatures. Yasha and Sirens sure, but nothing like that thing." Kurama says, pointing at the giant monster on the screen.

However, her crow servants are terrified.

"No, it can't be." Says Crow Servant 1.

"I..Is that…ALUCARD!?" Shouts Crow Servant 2.

"Who?" Kurama asks them.

"You were asleep during that time, princess." The Elder says. "Have you heard of earth vampires?" Kurama nods. "Well, Alucard was a shinso, an alpha vampire, who made himself into THAT by consuming other earth creatures so he could wipe out all humans. He was confronted by…actually those same two monsters on the TV, as well as another shinso. They just BARELY managed to beat him by putting him to sleep. How the hell did he wake up!?"

The news broadcast shows a powerful beam of light that erupts from the other side of the city, catching Alucard's attention.

"It seems that something else is currently in progress. A strange beam of energy is shooting into the sky away from the devastation." The news reporter says as the cameraman films the monster walking towards the beam. "The monster appears to be taking interest in it. Let us get a closer look."

Kurama leans in, wondering if the humans have developed some kind of energy weapon that can fight Alucard. She watches as Alucard tries to swipe its hand into the light and the energy release is so strong that its hand is destroyed, impressing Kurama.

The camera zooms in below. Standing right where the beam had disappeared from is a seventeen year old boy and girl. They both have white hair, are covered in a black armor, and have bat wings coming out of their backs. Both of them are very attractive.

Most of the men watching have their eyes fixed on the hot girl with the long white hair, the broken cross around her neck, and white dress complimenting her figure.

However, Kurama blushes when she sees the boy. He has a handsome face, messy but stylish hair, and a lean but muscular build.

"Is that Akasha Bloodriver!?" Crow Servant 2 asks.

"No, she's far too young." Says Crow Servant 3.

"That must be her descendant. But who's that guy?" Asks Crow Servant 4.

"Must be another shinso." Says servant 1.

"He's impressive." Kurama says, eyes fixed on the boy on the screen.

The two shinsos fly towards Alucard with incredible speed. The impact on the kaiju's chest is so powerful that it creates a massive hole through it.

Kurama gasps at this display of raw strength as she watches the two fly around the kaiju, creating massive explosions strong enough to tear the monster to shreds just by punching it. She watches the vampire male with a dropped jaw, wide eyes and red cheeks. She continues staring at the screen motionless even as Alucard reconstitutes himself, she gasps when she sees Alucard pierce the vampire male's chest, then relief when he heals. She watches amazed as the vampire male places a rosary on the one humanoid part of Alucards body and it causes a woman to form out of his flesh, almost identical to the vampire girl except that she has pink hair.

Her servants identify her as Akasha Bloodriver but Kurama is too focused on the male still. Her face remains frozen and focused on the vampire male even as Akasha and the two monsters that were fighting Alucard before band together to destroy all four of them in a single spell at once. The news broadcast ends with a caption reading: "Monster Dead! Are We Safe?" But Kurama's eyes are still glued to the screen.

"Um, princess?" Crow Servant 1 asks.

"Are you alright?" Asks Crow Servant 2.

"I want him." Kurama says simply.

"Who?" Crow Servant 3 asks.

Kurama turns to her servants.

"I want you to find me all the information you can find about that man we just saw on TV. The hunk that just destroyed a monster the size of a skyscraper with his bare hands. NOW!" Kurama demands, more serious than she's ever been.

"Yes princess!" The servants shout as they rush to gather any information they could.

Kurama sits back down and she smiles as she rewinds the news broadcast to when the beam of light first appeared. Kurama leans into the screen as the vampire male becomes visible again.

"I've never seen such an incredible man before in my life." Kurama says, caressing the screen. "Powerful, brave, handsome. I just need to make sure your soul is just as perfect."

Tsukune stands awkwardly in his parents' living room with Moka holding his hand beside him. Sitting on the couch in front of them is his mother Kasumi, his father Koji, his aunt, uncle (fathers brother) and cousin Kyoko. Out of all of Tsukune's family, Kyoko is the most calm while the rest look slightly distressed. Around them are their neighbors who look at Tsukune with a mixture of worry and confusion while Kurumu, Ruby, Mizore and Yukari watch from the kitchen. Tsukune had just given them an explanation of...basically why they saw him and Moka fight a kaiju on the news a few hours ago.

'Maybe this was a bad idea.' Tsukune thinks to himself.

Moka nudges up to him, sensing how he feels and non-verbally telling him that it will be fine. She sends him a smile and Tsukune feels better. The other girls watch from the kitchen with envy.

"So let me get this straight." Kasumi says. "The private school that we sent you too turned out to be a school for Yokai to learn how to live as humans and you received an invitation by mistake?"

"No, not a mistake." Moka says. "I mean, we thought it was a mistake, but it turns out that the headmaster did it on purpose."

"Tenmei Mikogami, one of the Yokai you saw fighting Alucard before me and Moka did, believed that I would be useful in stopping Alucard and uniting humans and Yokai someday." Tsukune says. "I am glad I did one and I'm going to try to do the other. I don't care if he used me, I feel this is all my choice. Just as I chose to stay at Yokai even after I learned what the place actually was, because I saw that these were good people."

Tsukune grabs Moka's shoulders and the female vampire blushes.

"Yet this Mokagami didn't bother to tell ANY of the other students that you were human or allowed to be there." Koji says, skeptically.

"And then you were found out by the safety commission at that school. They were going to execute you and this vampire girl here, who apparently used to have pink hair and a softer voice, because of school rules." Says Tsukune's uncle, worried for his nephew.

"And then you almost got burnt to death, and this one gave you a blood injection." Tsukune's Aunt/Kyoko's mother says, pointing at Moka. "It saved your life but also turned you into a feral monster, so you had to wear a special holy lock to keep yourself from killing everyone."

The neighbors tense at that.

"And then she went a day with her rosary off, which was a gift from her mother to seal away her powers and personality to keep that kaiju we saw on TV from destroying the world." Says a neighbor hesitantly. "It caused the seal to weaken, and then her evil sisters and step-mother kidnapped her so they could finish weakening it and bring that monster out."

"My sisters were never evil!" Moka protests. "Kahlua was a brainwashed slave to her mother and Akua just went down the wrong path because she lost a sister to humans once. She turned on Fairy Tale to protect me and Kahlua's happy that Gyokuro isn't around to control her anymore."

"And your stepmother?" Asks another neighbor.

"She can burn in hell." Moka says, waving it off.

"She likely is." Tsukune adds.

Moka chuckles.

"So Tsukune, to rescue Moka you allowed one of her mothers old friends, the great-grandpa of one of your friends, to stick a hundred needles into your heart to make you stronger?" Kyoko says, disturbed.

"It was just one in my heart." Tsukune says. "The rest were all over my body."

"And then when Alucard was released, you and Moka unlocked your full vampire powers and now you can create explosions with your bare hands." A neighbor says shooting back a little.

"As shinso vampires, our base abilities are far stronger than a normal vampires." Moka explains. "We also have abilities that other vampires don't, specifically creation. Which, yes, you saw gives us the ability to manipulate our blood to create virtually anything like armor for protection or something that explodes. Hmm…I'm actually not sure what the full capabilities are. Tsukune, we must experiment with our new powers once we get back to Yokai Academy. We should also practice using the Wealth of Power."

"That reminds me, I have a question. Is Kahlua a shinso now too?" Tsukune asks Moka.

They had found Kahlua laying close to the remains of the Floating Garden. They had gone looking for any members of FairyTale that were still left. They thought they heard voices but when Moka and Tsukune ran over, they just saw Kahlua laying against some rubble. Whoever was there before must have left her there for them to find. Kokoa, Akua and Moka were surprised to see their sister alive since Kokoa had previously killed her by impaling her with her Transformer Bat Kou in sword form (after Mizore and Kurumu weakened her with water). But, recognizing the bite marks on her neck, they realized that Alucard/Miyabi Fujisaki must have given her an injection of his shinso blood to save her life. Akua quickly rushed Kahlua back to the Shuzen Household along with Kokoa and Haiji. San went back home, with Ginei following her. Fang-Fang decided to leave the group to talk to his parents in private and tell them about their grandfather's death. While Tsukune and the girls went to his parents house to give them an explanation.

"What? Oh no. Miyabi only gave her enough blood to heal her." Moka tells him.

"And now you have an evil monster organization after the both of you." Kasumi says, worried for her son.

"Yes, but don't worry. We will train together and push the limits of our new powers so they won't be able to beat us." Moka says, reassuringly.

Kyoko nods in approval and the rest of his family look more at ease. However, most of the neighbors are still giving them strange looks.

"Listen, I hope this doesn't change any of your perceptions of me." Tsukune says to his family and neighbors. "I'm still the exact same person I was before, I'm just now also a vampire. But I promise, I'll stick to tomato juice to satisfy my hunger. No blood."

"Yeah… No blood at all." Moka says, with a tense/suspicious tone and look.

"Except for when you drink his blood!" Kurumu shouts from the kitchen.

"Kurumu!" Yukari snaps.

"I'm sorry, what?" Kasumi asks.

They all now turn to Moka, who shifts nervously.

"I…When we first met he was bleeding and I might have taken a sip….And it was so delicious I…kinda…kept doing it after that."

"It doesn't hurt!" Tsukune says quickly. "I just feel slightly lightheaded and I get lipstick on my neck, that's all. I'm fine after I eat. I give her permission."

Regardless, everyone else is still looking at Moka, warrily.

"Uh, but that's stopped now since you're both vampires, right?" Kyoko asks.

Tsukune and Moka look nervous

"NO!" Kurumu shouts. "That's why you should encourage him to be with me!"

"Or me." Adds Mizore.

"I don't mind sharing if I still get some." Says Ruby.

"I want a three-way!" Shouts Yukari. "No! A four way! Me, Tsukune, Moka and our friend Fang-Fang! I know he would like that too!"

Now everyone was looking disturbed at the girls. Kasumi faints and Koji grabs onto her. Kyoko gives Tsukuni an amused smile.

"Gee, never thought you would be the kinky-harem kind of guy, Tsuki."

"I'm not into that! That's all them!" Tsukuni protests, waving his hands in the air.

Unknown to anyone, monster or human, Kurama's crow-servants are taking notes on everything they've heard through the window.

Later, on Kurama's Ship

Crow Servant 1 stands in front of Kurama, who sits in her chair eagerly awaiting for them to tell her about the man who could potentially father her children.

"Princess, we have done a thorough investigation of the vampire boy in question and we think we have everything you need to know about him." Crow Servant 1 says. "His name is Tsukune Aono, a couple years ago he was a normal human, fairly average, not the smartest given that he failed his high school entrance exam-"

Kurama wasn't too impressed by this.

"-However, then he got enrolled at Yokai Academy. It is a place where Yokai go to learn how to live in the human realm. However, humans were forbidden from entering Yokai Academy under penalty of death so Tsukune had to hide his true origins. His very first day, he stood up to a monster bully that was harassing the girl we saw with him on screen and allowed himself to be beaten if it meant the monstrel would leave her alone."

"How big was this Monster?" Kurama asks.

Crow Servant 2 shows Kurama a hologram of human-Tsukune with Saizou Komiya.

"He stood up to that thing?" Kurama says, impressed. "Well, he was brave and selfless. I'll give him that."

"He stood up to various other monsters while he was there too." Says Servant one. "He gained quite the reputation. However, he started transforming into the being that we saw on the news after an incident where he was discovered by the school's safety commission as a human. He offered himself to them if they agreed not to hurt any of his girlfriends, they said "no" and he took a fireball meant for Moka. That's the one we saw on TV with him, Akasha's daughter. Moka gave him a shot of vampire blood and it made him strong enough to beat the commission single handedly. After that Moka started teaching him how to use his new strength and how to fight."

"So…he developed into his skills as a warrior over time." Kurama says with a smile, then shrugs. "We all have to start somewhere."

"Both Moka and Tsukune are shinso vampires. Moka gained her power from her mother, whose power was also mixed with Alucards, who absorbed more monsters to make himself even stronger. And Tsukune got his power from Moka, which means that they both have the power of multiple shinso's in them. Before acquiring his full power like you saw on screen, Tsukune was strong enough to catch a newborn Phoenix and stop its attack with some of his power suppressed. He was fast enough to run through flames and punch out an enemy before he could be burnt. He fought hand to hand against one of the strongest vampires on the planet and beat her. Since he was originally human he is immune to most of the standard vampire weaknesses such as water and garlic but he can still be weakened by silver. Though not as strong now, his potential is said to be able to rival Alucards."

"And you said that Alucard destroyed a continent in seven days, right?" Kurama asks.

The servant nods and Kurama smiles.

'So he's brave, has the skills of a warrior, nice and courteous enough to make several girls want him, and powerful!' Kurama thinks, amazed.

"From what we could tell, his biggest flaw is his indecisiveness and his difficulty telling girls to back off." Says Servant one.

"He's perfect! Bring him to me!" Kurama orders.
