chapter 2

Duncan's POV

Sunday

8:45 AM

Quietly turning the stove off before carefully plating the food. " Daddy...mommy is still sleeping " whispers Serenity as she comes walking to the kitchen.

" Perfect, just give me a moment and we'll go surprise her " I said smiling at her " she will like this " she replies watching me as I try to make the food look pretty.

Yesterday we prepared by ordering a bouquet of flowers that was delivered this morning, Serenity made Courtney a card at school, I got her a necklace with a little heart that had our initials engraved, kinda like what I did once on TDI.

" Okay all done " I breathed looking at the tray " mmm tasty " said Serenity eyeing the food " yeah let's get this to mommy then we'll have breakfast " I explain winking " okay " she answers grabbing her handmade card.

Walking quietly toward the bedroom Serenity opens the door and for a moment I admire Courtney, she was amazing especially to have gone through everything including being one hell of a mom.

" Mommy...wake up " says Serenity carefully climbing on the bed " babe good morning " I said standing by watching her move a little. " Mommy " said Serenity once again followed by shaking her lightly, this time Courtney started moving.

Slowly turning Courtney looks at us while rubbing her eyes " is everything okay? " she asks slowly sitting up " yeah just..." we start smiling at her...

" Happy Mothers Day " Me and Serenity say together making Courtney looked surprised at us " it's mommy's day " said Serenity hugging Courtney " oh my goodness " gasps Courtney hugging Serenity.

" Yup we made you breakfast " I explained carefully placing the tray on Courtney's lap " this looks so good " breathes Courtney looking at everything. An omelet served with toast, yogurt with fresh berries along with coffee and orange juice.

" Mommy I made this for you " says Serenity showing the colourful card saying " mommy "...

" Oh this is so beautiful...I love it " exclaimed Courtney looking over the card giving me the chance to slip out to get the flowers and necklace.

I'm sure by now mom has received my gift...

Melinda's POV

9:00 AM

My eyes were filled with tears and a smile that couldn't prove just how happy I am.

I was on my way to the kitchen to make some tea when the doorbell rang and when I opened it a delivery man was standing there with a beautiful bouquet of colourful flowers. What a day to start Mothers Day.

Once I received them I read the card and couldn't have been more grateful...

" Dear Mom...

Thank you for everything especially when your so awesome,

" He really is a good son " I sighed going to the kitchen but once again the doorbell rings. Opening the door this time two delivery men stood there each one holding a bouquet no doubt from Lincoln and John " my boys are the best " I breathed feeling pure joy.

Trent's POV

Both Louis and I surprised Gwen by taking her to brunch at a fancy restaurant.

" Thank you guys " says Gwen smiling at us " your welcome babe " I said giving her a quick kiss on the cheek " mommy I made this for you " says Louis hanging Gwen a handmade card " aw Louis I love this and it's so creative " Gwen exclaims admiring the colours " I drew white flowers so that they stand out " he explains looking shy.

" It's a masterpiece buddy " I said loving the artistic side inherited from Gwen. Just then our waiter returned with our brunch, I got the eggs Benedict with a coffee, Gwen got the French toast with with strawberries and sparkling orange juice then Louis got the waffles with bacon and a chocolate milk.

" Alright let's enjoy but also to you babe " I said smiling at Gwen who blushed " your amazing, beautiful, a great artist, mother and I'm lucky to have you as my wife " I add raising my glass of water " thank you " she replies taking a sip of her juice.

" Mommy your the best " says Louis smiling at Gwen " thank you honey and to our family maybe we enjoy this now before we get bigger " says Gwen making me raise an eyebrow " what do you mean? " I asked confused.

" Oh nothing let's eat " she says before eating her food along with Louis, I shrug my shoulders before I start eating.

Alejandro's POV

10:00 AM

We all sat outside by the pool to enjoy the beautiful sun today. I even asked our staff to set up breakfast near the pool so that we could enjoy our morning.

" Well you both sure out did yourselves " says Heather as she laid out on a lounge chair with Miguel who just gave her a card.

" Mi amor you know that the two men in your life will always aim to please you " I said handing her a mimosa " Mama I hope you enjoy yourself today " says Miguel smiling at Heather " thank you my little man " she says kissing his forehead.

I grab a Mimosa for myself before I sit beside Heather in the lounge chair beside her " Nothing but the best for you today Amor " I said raising my glass to her " thank you Guapo " replies Heather bringing her glass to mine.

I haven't heard her call me that in awhile clearly today we did a good job in making her happy.

" Feliz Día de la Madre, mamá " says Miguel to Heather " Gracias, hijo mío " answers Heather wrapping an arm around Miguel as he hugs her.

Smiling at them I'm glad to see Heather happy knowing she is loved, not only by myself but our son.

As for Mikey and Millie they both gave Lindsey there cards but Tyler completely forgot what today was and rushed out to buy her something quick. In the end he got her one rose and a slurpee which she still enjoyed either way.

AN: It's a short chapter but I'll make sure to make the next one long, I hope everyone spends time with there moms today. Be sure to thank her for everything and show you appreciate her. Happy Mothers Day
