Michael only opened his eyes when the pain stopped. He awoke on top of a hill under the shade of a tree which he was leaning against. In front of him was a gravestone that read Charolette. Michael stood up and looked down the hill to see five more graves. Michael went down the hill entering the picturesque sunlight. He walked till he saw the front of the gravestones. They were all there Garbiel, Fritz, Susie, Jeremy and the final one hidden by grass. Michael walked toward the last grave ready to move the grass.

"That one isn't ready," a female voice said from behind Michael stopping him Michael turned to see the origin of the voice and his jaw dropped.

"charlotte?" was all he could say. She was older than he remembered probably in her mid-20s but he could still tell it was her he didn't know how.

"Yes, Michael it's me," Charlotte responded. Michael took a deep breath before walking toward her and for the first time in over two decades, he let the tears he had been holding fall.

"It's ok you did it," Charlotte said as she went to whip a tear but Michael grabbed her hand to stop her.

"No, remember me as a person when my body still gave off heat," Michael said

"You act like you aren't that. Look at your hands," Charlotte said. Michael did so looking down and he saw them his hands were made of flesh again with everything they should have, he was a man again, a real man. Michael collapsed to his knees his tears now falling like rain.

"So it's over?" Michael asked

"Yes but some people want to thank you," Charlotte said. Four children walked out of the woods that Charlotte was standing in front of. It was four of the Missing Children, three boys and one girl in clothes that matched the colours of what must be their animatronics. Michael stood up wiping the tears from his eyes as the kids slowly walked forward noticeably a small black kid in a brown shirt was taking the lead even shielding the girl with blonde hair in a yellow dress and the youngest-looking kid who was in a red sweater.

"Uh hi," Michael said. For a long moment, no one moved but a boy with blonde hair in a purple shirt walked forward.

"You're the one who freed us?" the boy asked

"Uh… yeah," Michael said. The girl ran toward him hugging him

"Sorry for the problems we caused you," she said. Michael patted her head twice before looking at the gravestones.

"You must be Susie," he said

"Yes, I am," she said as she backed up.

"That's Gabriel and Jeremy," Susie said pointing to the two boys in brown and purple, Gabriel was in Brown and Jeremy was in Purple.

"And that would make you Fritz?" Michael asked looking at the boy hiding behind Gabriel. Fritz slowly began to move out from behind Gabriel.

"Who were you when I met you?" Michael asked

"I was Foxy," Fritz said. Michael rubbed Fritz's head messing up his hair

"Foxy was always my favourite," Michael said before standing up. Michael walked up to Gabriel

"I take it you were Freddy?" he asked, to which Gabriel just nodded, "You did good," Michael said. Gabriel looked up tears in his eyes,

"Sorry I took so long to help you," Michael said to them all. All the kids stood in a line mirroring their gravestones holding hands

"Thank you!" they said in unison before vanishing leaving Michael alone with Charlotte. Charlotte walked towards Michael

"I know they already said it but thank you," she said

"It was the least I could do. Can I ask a question?" Michael said

"Sure,"

"Why are you older than when you died but I and the kids seem to be the ages we were when we died?"

"I don't know but I have been told it reflects the fact that my soul matured,"

"Who told you that?"

"You'll meet him soon but for now…" Charlotte hugged Michael and Michael hugged her. Michael doesn't know how long they stood there but when Michael opened his eyes Charolette was gone and he was facing a forest.
