"Mommy?" asked Everly. "Can you tell me one more bedtime story before I go to bed? Please?"

Mal stared down at her beautiful green-eyed and pink-haired five-year-old daughter. She had already told her two bedtime stories already. One on how she met her father, Ben in the first place, and another on how she and her father defeated a horrible menace by the name of Xanos, even though Everly had heard both those stories numerous times, and from various peoples' perspectives. But how could she say no to a face like that?

"Why of course," she said. "How could I refuse?"

Mal was the daughter of the former mistress of evil, Maleficent, and is queen of the kingdom known as Auradon, a kingdom joined together by worlds of magic and adventure, and a world of superheroes and former supervillains.

About five years ago, the heroes from both worlds ended a great threat that tried to destroy everything the heroes stood for and protected, and now both were united. And ever since then, there has been peace. And soon after that war, Mal gave birth to her and Ben, the son of Belle and Beast, daughter, Everly.

"What story would you like to hear?" Mal asked. "The one about how I fought Auntie Uma as a dragon? The one where I defeated Grandma with my friends? Do you want another story from the past of the good times I used to have with Uncle Carlos?"

"No mommy, no Uncle Carlos stories," Everly sighed. "I don't want you to start crying or I might to and then neither of us will be able to sleep."

Mal sighed.

It had been also five years since Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil, died unexpectedly. Some believed that it had something to do with after being brought back to life after he and many others were erased from existence. Something that just caused his body to fail him, or something left behind that was erased as well. Whatever the cause was, Carlos one day died in his sleep. It hit his former girlfriend Jane badly because they had barely had enough time to reunite.

But Carlos is still remembered to this day, and Mal never forgot him. He was like a brother to her after all.

"Tell me a story you've never told me, or anyone else maybe before," said Everly. "Maybe a story someone told you once! I don't care if its even scary. I never get scared."

That part was true. For some reason, Everly just refused to be scared at most things in the world.

"Okay I've got one," said Mal. "A story my mother used to tell me when I was little. A story about the very thing that gave birth to what she originally used to be."

"A dragon?" Everly asked.

"No evil," said Mal. "She called this story, the legend of Bald Mountain."

"Bald Mountain?" Everly asked.

"Long ago, probably long before grandma was even born, there was an island that existed far from Auradon, which didn't even exist yet, and all other lands," said Mal. "It was called, Bald Mountain."

"Why was it called Bald Mountain?" asked Everly.

"Well, that's what we call it today," said Mal. "Or used to call it, before it supposedly disappeared. Back then very few people today remember it by its original name, the Demon's Peak."

"Whoa," said Everly.

"The island was once a peaceful island where people settled into homes they built there," said Mal. "They called it Demon's Peak because originally the mountain looked like a sharp demon horn."

"Cool," said Everly.

"But one day, one horrible day, or actually night, a force from beyond our universe struck the mountain of Demon's peak, and it transformed," said Mal.

"Transformed?" asked Everly.

"The mountain literally came to life," said Mal. "Well not the whole mountain, but the very peak of it did. It transformed itself into a massive demon with black skin, huge wings, bigger than grandma's and mine, two sharp horns, a mouth that burned with green lava every time he opened it, and a roar that filled anyone who heard it with fear and horror and despair."

Everly clutched her blanket, not in fear, but in amazement.

"The demon would terrorize the inhabitants of Bald Mountain once every week for an entire night," said Mal. "It did this because it would spend all it's time collecting darkness, and so much of it, because it basically fed on evil and darkness for power. And when the night came, it would unleash its power upon all the powerless inhabitants. He would send ghastly and evil spirits and specters to chase and terrorize everyone. He brought balls of fire down on homes and crops and forests that surrounded all. He would literally bring hell down upon all who saw in his sights."

"Whoa, scary," said Everly. "Did this demon have a name?"

"Most people just called him the devil," said Mal. "But our parents had a name for him. Because of how he looked, a mix between a bat and a minotaur, they named this demon, Chernabog."

"Chern-a-bog?" Everly sounded out. "That's a hard word."

"Chernabog's power and evil was so horrible and powerful, that it literally spread to all across the world," said Mal. "It's evil is what created the dark and evil power that created most of our parents or at least their power. Chernabog was the first evil this world ever had, and it was basically the creator of all our parents."

"No way," said Everly. "So, what happened to Chernabog? Is he, or is it, still alive? Did someone stop him?"

"Chernabog had one weakness always," said Mal. "The sun. He hated sunlight. Light in general. So, the people of the island used a ritual to harness the light from the sun, and from it created a weapon that they used on Chernabog the night it returned. It destroyed the demon, and his body was supposedly buried in depths of Bald Mountain which it sunk into."

"Yeah!" Everly playfully cheered.

"Now the mountain was renamed Bald Mountain because after Chernabog was destroyed, the mountain that everyone always remembered seeing the demon mounted on looked empty, or simply bald," said Mal.

"Oh! Bald Mountain," said Everly.

"However, the darkness that Chernabog produced just never seemed to go away," said Mal. "Dark presences and eventually attacks by demons were reported by the inhabitants. Eventually the people started to notice darkness starting to form around the island as if it was trying to keep people in, or possibly destroy it all. So before that could happen, everyone abandoned their homes and left the island, which seemingly disappeared forever."

"Seemingly?" asked Everly.

"Well, my mother was able to tell me this story because she told me she supposedly found the island and stepped foot on it itself," said Mal. "But I've never been able to decide to believe her or not. It is how she was able to figure out this story, because my mom looked through the memories of the darkness that flowed on the island, or that just came from the remains of the island."

"So if this island did or does still exist?" asked Everly. "Where is it?"

"My mom and other heroes believe that it is in the center of the sea of storms located far from Auradon and long past Atlantica and Atlantis in a place known to be full of storms and darkness," said Mal. "A place known as the Bermuda Triangle."

"And Bald Mountain is in there?" Everly asked.

"We'll never know for sure," said Mal as she started to tuck Everly in. "But we're never going to find out any time soon. I would never step foot near that place only if the world and your life depended on it. But there is no evil that could cause a threat that bad still living in this world."

"So we're safe?" Everly asked.

"No baby," said Mal kissing Everly long and hard on the forehead. "YOU are safe. Daddy and I will always protect you no matter what."

Everly smiled.

"I love you mommy," she said with a big yawn.

"I love you too my little baby dragon," Mal said. "Goodnight."

Mal gave Everly one more kiss and then left her bed and turned off the light. Everly was asleep in minutes.

Mal smiled as she walked down the hallway to head to her own room, where Ben was most likely already asleep.

If not, she and Ben would have some fun and rough times.

"I feel like he gets bigger and wider every night," Mal said in her mind as she held her hand near her crotch. "But I ain't complaining. I have nothing to complain about or worry about. There has not been one single threat to Auradon since Xanos, and we are at peace. What could ever go wrong again?"

And yet she did not know the whole time she had told Everly the bedtime story, a small unseeable camera drone shaped like a fly had been living in Everly's room for years, listening to her entire conversation and story. In fact, one had been living in every single corner of Auradon, waiting patiently for someone to spill the beans.

Waiting for someone to tell Ultron finally where Chernabog could be found, since every record of him had been erased from every corner of the kingdoms. Except for people's minds.

"Finally!" Ultron exclaimed. "Finally, I know where the demon is!"

He ignited his thrusts and took to the sky, leaving the secret base he built in the ruins of the now abandoned for years Isle of the Lost.

"Now I begin," he said. "Now the reign of Ultron truly begins.

Yup I'm back. And this time I hope and pray to God I actually do finish this story. Also as you have clearly seen and realized, I have decided to include Cameron Boyce's death as a part of this story, so Carlos will not be a part of it. I don't know why I've chosen to do this, but it's what I've decided to do, and for some reason I feel that it is right to do because as we know in the Royal Wedding Carlos wasn't present, and in the upcoming Descendants 4, he won't be either (obviously, nor apparently will the other descendants because it's a whole new story with only Uma and Fairy Godmother returning) And I'm not lying. Descendants 4 is being made, and it's called Descendants: Rise of Red.

But for now again please don't be mad that I'm not using Carlos, and if you are then you can just go find another story to read.

But if you're okay with it, pray again I don't lose interest in this story, and stay tuned for the next chapter. Will Ultron successfully find Chernabog, and revive him? You're just going to have to see.

See you next update! Review please dearies!
