Hello everyone, thanks for taking the time to read my story, this is the first time I've ever written a proper story so please leave reviews so I can improve on my writing abilities. This fic is inspired by a fic named "The Immortal Hero: Phoenix" and I'm really sad that the author couldn't finish their story. Hopefully everyone enjoys this first chapter!

Izuka Midoriya, aged 9, was captured and somehow managed to survive many months of torment. The man who kidnapped her goes by many names, some call him the Demon King, the King of the Underworld, the Symbol of Evil, however he is known to the heroes as All For one. Little Izuka never thought she was going to be free of him, however this all changed on that fateful day…
The Sir-Nighteye agency had just managed to locate the whereabouts of the base that All for One was suspected of using and started to plan a raid on the compound. He knew it was going to be a huge undertaking, as he knew just how powerful this monster was, so he sent out requests to many pro heroes for assistance and managed to gather some very notable figures. They include the number one hero All Might, the number two hero Endeavor, the number three hero Hawks, the number four hero Best Jeanist, the number nine hero Ryukyu and a bunch of well-known pro heroes as well.
Mirai Sasaki, also known as Sir-Nighteye was surprised to see that Hawks of all people accepted his request as he is known to be a cocky and brazen person, however when he asked him why he accepted he simply said, "I've heard that you sent requests to each of the top 10 heroes for assistance, which can only mean this will be the mission of a lifetime and there's no way I would miss that Mirai. I also have another reason for accepting this mission, but I don't feel the need to say right now."
Hawks had an internal feeling like this mission was his destiny and he never felt like this before, however he chose to not say that to Mirai. His answer seemed to get a few raised eyebrows from the other heroes who were listening into the conversation (especially Endeavor), but they just moved on as Sir-Nighteye began to discuss the details of the raid.
The plan was simple, they would have the heroes surround the perimeter (mainly around the entrances) as All Might and Endeavor bust through two different sides of the wall with the more notable heroes supporting them. They would also have Hawks and Ryukyu would be patrolling each side of the compound from the sky to make sure that no one could easily escape.
As the heroes begin to set out to complete their mission, All for One begins to sense that he will soon be surrounded by the heroes, but he simply smiles at this as he can hopefully use it as a tool to break Izuka's spirit and bend her to his will. He learned from his previous attempts that using any form of brainwashing never ends well, which gives him a slight shiver up his spine. However, he quickly goes back to the opportunity at hand,
"Doctor, send me a few nomus as I will be having to entertain some guests very soon." he says with a sinister grin. Izuka couldn't discern what he was saying but starts to panic as she sees that smile of his as she knows that it will only mean more pain and misery for her.

The heroes arrive at the compound and get into their positions and the lesser-known pro heroes begin to evacuate the area as the top heroes are given the go-ahead to breach. "I AM HERE!" All Might says as he busts a giant hole through the compound with Eraserhead running behind him and Endeavor busts in through the other side of the compound with Best Jeanist right behind him.
Izuka screams at the sudden noise, however her almost lifeless eyes suddenly fill up with hope as she sees that it was her idol bust through the wall as she says, "All Might is that really you?". The man turns to his right to see who was calling him and quickly rushes over to her with Eraserhead, he was happy to see that she was relatively unharmed.
"Don't worry young Midoriya, we are here to save you and beat the bad man." he states with his signature smile on full display. "How do you know my name?" she asks, "I heard everything about you from your mother, but that's a discussion for later, for now I need to get you out of here." He says with a serious but reaffirming tone.
Clapping can be heard in the distance as All for One slowly gets off the big red armchair he was sitting on "Hello All Might, I didn't think you would be stopping by today. Are you sure it's wise to make promises you can't keep?" he says with his signature sinister grin.
The heroes look over to see the imposing figure they were here to defeat "Eraserhead you need to get young Midoriya out of here while Endeavor, Best Jeanist and I and I hold off All for One." All Might whispers.
Eraserhead nods and quickly scoops up Izuka, he could feel the pure evil emanating from this man and for the first time in a long time felt stress sweat starting to drop from his forehead.
"You guys' better defeat this guy and come out in one piece." Eraserhead whispers back, as All Might nods and taps on his earpiece "Endeavor, Best Jeanist, I'm going to need your support in this fight" he says quietly as they nod in agreement.
He turns to man exuding pure evil "All for One, today is your last day of freedom, I will make sure you get sent to prison this time." He says losing his signature smile "I've heard that line before All Might and I'm still here, also you didn't think I'd let you take Izuka Midoriya from me, did you?" he says as two black portals appear next to him.
Two abominations appear out of the portal next to All for One, both have exposed brains and one of them has something akin to a yellow beak with huge muscles that have a few red scars and is pitch black. While the other is skinny and has grey limbs which look somewhat like wings with muscular legs and a big jaw.
All for One holds his arm up as it starts to swell up "Try to make this entertaining, will you?" as he blasts a huge wave of air at the heroes. Endeavor and Best Jeanist easily manage to dodge the wave of air, and All Might manages to barely dodge out of the way as he throws Eraserhead out of the hole in the wall that he made "MAKE SURE TO GET HER OUT OF HERE" he yells.
"Well, that won't do" All for One says as he shakes his head in disappointment, he looks at the muscular nomu "Take care of Endeavor and Best Jeanist" the monster rushes over to them. He looks at the grey nomu "Bring back Izuka Midoriya" the monster's arms turn into a giant pair of wings as it darts out of the hole All Might made.
All Might tries to stop the beast as All for One rushes in and punches All Might right in his weak spot launching him into one of the giant grey pillars in the corner of the compound. "You need to be faster than that All Might" he says as he starts laughing "You really have gotten weaker since our last fight".
All Might gets up wiping the bits of concrete off him "It would appear you have as well, since you're wearing that weird industrial mask" he says with a scowl as he winces with pain from the punch he was dealt. Before All for One has a chance to reply he launches a huge gust of wind at the man "TEXAS SMASH"

Eraserhead lands on his feet after All Might threw him out of the building as he drops Izuka but quickly grabs her with her capture cloth to make sure she didn't get hurt. "Are you ok kid? he asks with a hint of worry. Izuka knows she's not ok after everything she went through today before this point, but she nods "I'm ok, thanks for saving me mr hero" she says as she tries her best to muster a smile. Eraserhead can tell it's a fake smile "We're not out of the woods yet kid, we need to get you to safety." He says as he starts running towards a group of police officers nearby.
BANG
They hear a huge explosion within the compound and see a gust of air come out of one side as they also see a grey monster with wings rushing over to Eraserhead.
Hawks notices the monster and fires half a dozen wings at it which knocks it to the ground. He taps on the earpiece "Don't worry Eraserhead-san I'll deal with this monster you just make sure to keep that kid saf- "before he has a chance to finish his sentence, he notices another black portal appear on the roof of the compound as a brownish orange muscular monster with an exposed brain walks out of it.
He tries firing some wings at it, but it easily dodges as it holds out its hands and produces a pile of brown sludge which quickly turns into clones of the beast. Hawks taps on his earpiece again "Ryukyu there is a monster on the roof of the compound producing clones of itself, can you deal with it while I help out Eraserhead" he says as he starts flying over to Eraserhead.
Ryukyu who is already transformed into her dragon form flies over to the roof of the compound to see what Hawks was talking about and is greeted with a dozen monsters shooting brown fireballs at the police officers and Eraserhead. She lands on the roof and starts swiping at the monsters which manages to get some of them, however most of them just dodge out of the way.
The monsters she did manage to get turn into a brown sludge which grosses her out as she quickly thinks "What the hell are these disgusting things", however the monsters continued to multiply as some of them started jumping off the roof and the others started shooting brown fireballs at her.
She taps on her earpiece "Requesting backup on the roof as there is agile monsters that is able to continuously multiply and shoot brown fireballs." As soon as she finishes with this sentence, she sees a small yellow figure zipping into view and taking out a few of the cloned monsters easily.
"Damn there seems to be no end to these things" the short old man says as he looks at her "I can see why you requested backup now, I'll deal with these monsters, go protect the people below" She nods and starts flying over to Eraserhead and Hawks as she swipes her tail taking out a few more monsters that ended up jumping off the roof.
The grey monster that hawks shot his wings at gets up and brushes off the feathers as it starts flying and turns its legs into talons as it starts dashing at Eraserhead and Izuka. Eraserhead uses his quirk on the beast, and it falls to the ground and before it has time to get up, it gets slashed in the back by a giant red wing.
"Thanks for the assistance, Hawks." Eraserhead says as he releases his quirk.
"You're welcome, although it seems like you had it covered Eraserhead" Hawks says with a grin.
"If I didn't have a kid to protect then maybe" he says as he looks at Izuka.
Izuka's eyes are wide as she looks at Hawks "I can't believe you took down that scary nomu in 1 hit mr hero."
"Nomu? So that's what these monsters are called?" Hawks looks at Izuka with a genuine smile as she nods her head in confirmation.
"Also, my name is Hawks and the man carrying you is Eraserhead, pleased to meet you, Izuka." Hawks says as he walks over to her.
Before they have time to continue their conversation, they hear another big blast come from within the compound and see Endeavor and Best Jeanist fly out of it along with the muscular nomu chasing after them. Hawk's heart sinks to his stomach as he sees both looking pretty beat up "Eraserhead, make sure this nomu can't escape, I'm going to help those two." He says as he flies over to their location as fast as he can. "Endeavor, please be ok" he thinks to himself as he flies.

Endeavor and Best Jeanist get up "Endeavor we need to come up with a proper strategy to beat this thing otherwise we're gonna keep getting nowhere" Best Jeanist says but he can tell his words probably fell on deaf ears as Endeavor looks at the beast full of rage. "How can I be losing to this fucking beast, I'm the number two hero damnit" he thinks as he glares at the beast facing him down.
"ENDEAVOR-SAN CALM DOWN" Hawks says as he flies over noticing the look of pure rage on the man's face "We can take this beast down if we work together." He says but this time Endeavor snaps out of his daze and hears what was being said.
"Sorry, it's just frustrating to not be able to deal any damage to this thing." Endeavor says with anger still in his voice and his hand curled up into a fist.
"This is why I said we need to come up with a plan to take this thing down Endeavor, this thing clearly has some sort of regeneration quirk." Best Jeanist says.
"Hmm so if we keep attacking a single spot then surely it won't be able to regenerate forever" Hawks says as he sees that Endeavor's eyes light up with understanding.
"That makes sense, I can only wrap him up for a few seconds at a time, so we have to be smart about this Endeavor" Best Jeanist says with annoyance as he looks over at Endeavor.
"I understand, Best Jeanist you trap him with your fiber and Hawks you try to help me get some openings." Endeavor says as he the nomu closes in on them.
Best Jeanist wraps the nomu up with his fibres as Endeavor releases a huge burst of flame "Flashfire Fist JETBURN!" The nomu screams in agony briefly as it begins to regenerate its head, still looking a bit damaged.
Endeavor smirks "I guess that theory of yours has some merit Hawks, let's keep it up" Hawks nods as an idea pops into Endeavor's head. "Wait, Hawks shoot some feathers at my back; I'm going to defeat this monster once and for all and save us some time." Hawks raises an eyebrow but doesn't bother questioning the man as he shoots some feathers into Endeavor's back.
Endeavor lights his back on fire as he gains temporary flaming wings as he launches himself at the nomu. He grabs the nomu and goes high up into the sky. "I see what he's trying to do, he's going to go all out on the nomu" Hawks says with a grin. "Best Jeanist prepare to catch Endeavor as he falls from the sky, please, I need to go help Ryukyu."
Best Jeanist nods as Hawks proceeds to fly over to the roof of the compound. As Endeavor reaches a high enough point, he lights everything around him on fire "Thank you for being a steppingstone on my path to greatness monster, PROMINENCE BURN!"
The nomu turns to ash as Endeavor feels like he's about to pass out from exhaustion "Damn, my body still isn't used to that move yet, looks like I need to work on it" he thinks as he eventually passes out and starts falling from the sky.
Best Jeanist sees him falling out of the sky and barely manages to catch him with his fibers "I guess I shouldn't be surprised that the number 2 hero would be able to singlehandedly deal with that nomu creature." He says as he notices his fibers getting extremely hot "I better get him to an ambulance before my fibers catch on fire" he says as he makes his way to the nearest ambulance.
As Hawks flies over to the roof of the compound he sees a pile of brown sludge, an unconscious nomu and a short old man wearing a yellow hero suit "Oh I see you already took care of the nomu, thanks old timer." He says with a grin and a thumbs up. The old man just looks at him and sighs "Kids these days, anyways your welcome kid. Also, the name is Gran Torino you zygote." Hawks laughs but before they have a chance to continue the conversation, they feel the building shake violently and they see the number 1 hero getting flung. "Shit, Toshinori!" Gran Torino says as he zips over to All Might.

All Might sees a giant flames in the distance but the second he gets distracted All for One hits him with a giant Air Cannon and gets flung into a building in the distance. As he gets up, he sees that the other monsters have already been dealt with and smiles at the thought.
He taps on the earpiece "I see that the monsters have been dealt with, whoever's available I would appreciate it if you got everyone out of this area and expand the perimeter."
All for One claps in the distance "As expected of the number one hero, always thinking about others instead of yourself." He smiles "Heroes have a lot of things they need to protect, don't they?" As he prepares to launch an air cannon at the remaining heroes and police officers.
All Might gets up and launches himself at All for One "You're too late, All Might" as All for One releases a giant wave of air at the area where Eraserhead and Izuka are. "NOOOOOOO" All Might screams.
As the dust settles they notice that the people that he targeted are fine, however Best Jeanist now has a giant hole in his chest. "As expected of the of the number four hero" All for One says with his sinister grin as he holds back All Might with his hands.
All Might quickly thinks on what he can possibly do to beat the man as he remembers the one move that has the chance to put an end to him. He smiles and says, "This is the end All for One." As he prepares his final move All for One laughs "What can you possibly do to defeat me All Might?"
All Might brings his fist back with as much power as he can muster and punches All for One right in the face "UNITED STATES OF SMASH!" as a huge tornado forms right where they both are, destroying the building and launching people all over the place.
As everything settles, they can see All for One laying on the ground, and All Might laying on the ground in a building near where Eraserhead and Izuka had been bleeding from his weak spot. During All Might's final move, All for One managed to damage All Might's weak spot very badly before he felt the damage of his attack.
Izuka gets out of Eraserhead's arms and rushes over to All Might "Kid get back here, it's not safe!" Eraserhead says to no avail. When she gets over him, she feels his body beginning to go cold as continues to bleed out from his wound. He opens his eyes and is surprised to see the little girl he was trying to save right in front of him as he says weakly "Young Midoriya, I fear that I don't have long left in this world, I need to ensure that my quirk does not die with me as it is needed for the future." He coughs violently before he brings his bloody hand onto Izuka's forehead.
"Please…survive…" he passes out after saying these words. Izuka's world goes silent for a few moments as the blood of her hero drips down her face and into her mouth before a bright yellow light erupts from her. She is covered in whitish-yellow flames as she sprouts a pair of big white wings that are split into six different parts and her once short green and black hair is now very long and white. Izuka doesn't understand what's happening, but she knows that she can save her reason for living, her idol, the symbol of peace.
All for One stands up and sees the light, he thinks to himself "So she finally awakened, I wonder how strong she'll be if I kill that buffoon in front of her." He tries to go in for the finishing blow as Izuka screams in a voice that sounds different from her own "GET AWAY FROM ALL MIGHT" as she blasts All for One with flames that can only be described as something as hot as the sun as he turns into a pile of ash within moments.
Before All for One fully disintegrated, Izuka swears she can see a smile appear on his face which sends a shiver down her spine. She cuts her hand and places it over All-Might's wound as a bright light begins to surround his wound. All Might's cold body begins to fill with heat and life once more as he opens his eyes and begins to cough, he is dazed and confused as he sees the figure of a woman which he couldn't recognize.
As Izuka finishes healing All Might, her hair goes back to normal, her flames recede and her wings combine into a normal looking pair of white wings as she's about to pass out. All Might recognizes that it was Izuka who saved her and notices she's about to fall over "Young Midoriya!" He gets up and catches her before she falls unconscious. He looks around to see where All for One may have gotten to only to notice a pile of ash nearby which he knew wasn't there before and he managed to put two and two together.
"So, it was young Midoriya who saved me and defeated All for One huh, that's both impressive and scary." He states quietly as he looks at the area where his wound previously was only to find that it was completely healed like nothing had ever happened.
Toshinori takes her to an ambulance as he looks back at all the destruction that was caused by the battle "It's a miracle that I'm even alive and I can finally rest easy knowing that All for One is finally gone. I just hope young Midoriya, Best Jeanist and Endeavor are all right" he thinks to himself.

She lies on a hospital bed unconscious and reflecting on all the hell that transpired hours before. Suddenly, she seems to appear in some very dark area, and can hear a voice calling to her, although she cannot hear it clearly at first.
"Izuka Midoriya, can you hear me?" a mysterious feminine voice which reminds her of mother Inko but sounding off, seems to echo all around her.
"M-mommy is that you?" Izuka asks reluctantly as she tries to identify exactly where this strange voice is coming from.
"Heh, no child I am not you mother." – says the mysterious voice from earlier sounding much clearer now. In the distance she sees what appears to be a bright yellow light.
"Then w-who are you?" – Izuka asks confusingly as she slowly walks closer to the strange yellow light. She tried using her wings to get closer to the light but to her horror, they were gone.
"In terms that you can easily understand I am what people would consider a guardian angel." says the mysterious voice. As Izuka walks closer to the yellow light, she sees a tall woman with long white hair wearing very long white silk robes with golden streaks going through it and what appears to be a golden crown.
A mix of emotions wells up within Izuka as she hears this, awe, confusion, and frustration "You are my guardian angel?!" she says with a squeak "I have so many questions I need to ask you."
The lady smiles, "I will answer them to the best of my abilities, however time is short, so I would suggest asking your most important questions first." The angel says nicely with a hint of sternness.
"What do you mean time is short?" Izuka asks with her eyes gleaming as she tries to formulate all the different questions, she wants to ask this woman.
"As of right now I can only speak with you while you are unconscious or…" she pauses, Izuka's looks down as she understands the last condition that she was going to say, the angel seems to pick up on the fact that Izuka knows the last condition "Anyways… what is your next question my child?" the lady asks trying to cut the tension that was accidentally built up
"Who are you and what is this place?" Izuka asks, trying to rush through all the questions she has piled up on her mind.
"This place is your own subconscious mind, as for who I am…" the lady pauses briefly, bends down and puts her hand on Izuka's shoulder "I am afraid I cannot say as it is too soon for you to find out. You have only unlocked our powers recently and still have a long way to go." She says with a serious look.
Izuka sighs as this answer left her with more questions than answers, however she picks up on the fact that they will probably not get answered anytime soon. "Oh okay…"
Izuka thinks on what questions she should bother asking before she says, "How long will it be until I wake up?" she asks as she looks around this dark area with the only light being the angel she is talking to. "Within a few minutes" the lady answers promptly "You only have a few more questions left to ask before you go back to the real world my child." She states as Izuka nods and prepares to ask her final questions.
"What is this power and why did I only get it after they killed me?" Izuka asks as she tries to use the flames, she was able to use in the real world, but to no avail here.
"In terms you can understand, this quirk would be called 'Sun Angel' and it grants you many powers, only a few of which you have unlocked so far." She pauses now with a frown on her face "as to why it only appeared after you died well, that was one of the only ways this power can be activated."
Izuka scowls as she quickly asks "W-w-wait the only way I could EVER get a quirk is if I died?!" she asks angrily as the once dark area now begins to blow with a cold wind. The angel isn't surprised to see her getting upset at this comment and calmly tries to reassure her "I don't think you heard me child, I said that dying was ONE of the ways for this power to be activated." As she sticks her finger in the air making Izuka calm down a bit.
"So, what is the other ways I could have gotten this power?" she asks with the scowl still on her face.
"The only other way is if you waited until you were 10 years old, as it takes roughly that long normally for the quirk to gain enough power to activate." Izuka looks confused at this answer but again, she knows she won't get an answer and nods before asking her final question.
"If you are my guardian angel, why did you let me go through all of that hell" Izuka asks as tears start rolling down her face.
The lady sighs and says, "I know the past few months have been hellish, however your body isn't prepared enough for me to take over for long periods of time." She pauses "If I tried to help you sooner, you would've just gone through even more pain and misery than you already have."
Izuka still feels frustrated after hearing this, but she can tell that the lady was sincere in her response, before she has a chance to continue asking questions the angel quickly states, "It seems that our conversation will have to continue another time my child, remember that I am always here for you and that you will grow stronger the more you use our power." Izuka frowns but nods at the lady.
As she awakens, she notices that Inko, All-Might and a few other pro heroes are sitting nearby, Izuka is very happy to see this sight as she could have never imagined it in her wildest dreams, although she knows that she will have a lot to tell them.
