At her home, Serena screams as she rides Rhyhorn.
"Close your mouth." Grace called out to her. "You don't wanna bite your tongue. Serena! Remember, you've got to think like a Rhyhorn!"
"Easy for you to say!" shouted Serena, keeping a grip on the reigns.
"I've competed in Rhyhorn Races around the world and you can do it too." said Grace. "Just stay with it! Be one with Rhyhorn!"
Serena held on a little longer before Rhyhorn threw her off. "Or not…" said Grace as her daughter landed head first in the dirt.
"Mom!" cried Serena. "I hate this!"
Narrator: Excitement filled the air as Ash, Jordan, Pikachu and Meeko arrived in the Kalos region. But as soon as they arrived, Team Rocket was after our heroes again!
Jordan: And I'm back to keep track of them too.
Narrator: We can't forget that. By the way, did Team Rocket really try to capture them that many times?
Meeko, showing Narrator the proof: Lucario.
Narrator: Wow.
Jordan: Even though I sort of lost track in Unova, at least you helped on your end.
Narrator: That's right. However, a brave Pokémon named Froakie saved the day, but, Froakie took a lot of damage while battling. We join Ash and Jordan as they race to Professor Sycamore's Pokémon lab, an injured Froakie in his arms!
"This way! Hurry up!" said Bonnie as they rushed towards Professor Sycamore's lab.
"Okay!" said Ash as Froakie went in and out of consciousness. "Froakie, you gotta hang in there."
"Froakie."
"Clemont!" Bonnie shouted as she, Ash and Jordan turned around to see him lagging behind. "Go faster!"
"I'm running as fast as I can." said Clemont. "Ash, Jordan, don't wait for me! Get going!"
"Aye, Aye." said Jordan.
"You got it, Clemont!" said Ash.
"I can't believe how slow my brother is." said Bonnie.
"Easy for you to say." said Jordan as they take off. "I had to deal with mine being an outcast."
A tree starts shaking as a passerby walks underneath it. "Unforgiveable!" said James.
"And embarrassing…." said Meowth.
"Ash, Jordan, this way!" Bonnie called out below, passing the tree that held Team Rocket.
"Right!" said Ash and Jordan.
"That's it!" said Bonnie, pointing ahead. "The Sycamore Pokémon lab!"
"It's the toddling twerp and baby Twerpette." said Meowth as they see Ash, Jordan and Bonnie run by.
"Sycamore Research lab?" asked Jessie.
"It must be for studying Pokémon." said James.
"I'll wager all the strong and rare Pokémon in there will make you fall over." said Meowth as Wobbuffet pops out.
"Wobbuffet!"
Just then, the branch Team Rocket was on starts to crack and break underneath their weight, causing them to fall. Bonnie and Jordan opens the door for Ash as he carries Froakie inside. "Hello?" Ash called out. "Professor Sycamore! Are you here?"
"Please be here, please be here." said Jordan. Professor Sycamore yawns as he walks out into the front room where Ash, Jordan and Bonnie are.
"Coming." he said, hearing the sleep in his voice. "Huh?"
"Are you the Professor?" asked Ash as Professor Sycamore sees Froakie in his arms.
"Froakie, no!" said Sycamore as he rushes over to take it out of Ash's arms.
"Kie." said Froakie as electricity sparked around its body.
"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko.
"You know this Froakie, Professor?" Ash asked.
"We're worried about it." said Jordan.
"I sure do." said Sycamore. "Sophie, come quick. We've been so worried about you." He then takes Froakie from Ash. "Your trainer has been in recent contact with us."
Froakie looks up at the professor before closing its eyes. "Froakie needs help." said Sycamore, handing it off to his lab assistant.
"Right!" said Sophie, taking Froakie into her arms.
"Pika." said Pikachu.
"Lucari." said Meeko.
"Thanks, Professor." said Ash as he pulls Jordan and Meeko close to him. "We've been worried about Froakie, too. So is Froakie's trainer on the way here now?"
"I'm afraid not." said Sycamore. "He contacted us to let us know that he wanted to give up Froakie."
"What?" asked Jordan.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu. Just then, the door opens and in walked Clemont, panting.
"You're so slow!" said a frustrated Bonnie, crossing her arms.
"How's Froakie?" asked Clemont.
"Froakie…" said Froakie, resting under some light as Sophie got to work.
"Poor Froakie." said Ash. Another Froakie appeared and hops over as sees its friend in the incubator.
"There's nothing to worry about." said Sycamore, walking up behind them. "Sophie is the absolute best at what she does."
"Great." said Ash as he and Jordan smiled.
"I'm Professor Sycamore, a Pokémon researcher working here in Kalos." he said, introducing himself to Ash and Jordan.
"Nice to meet you. My name's Ash and this is my partner, Pikachu." said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"I'm Jordan, his little sister and this is my partner, Meeko." said Jordan.
"Lucar!" said Meeko.
"My name's Bonnie and this is my brother, Clemont!" said Bonnie.
"It's truly an honor to meet you, Professor Sycamore." said Clemont.
"Pikachu, Meeko, Jordan and I got here today from Pallet Town in Kanto." Ash explained.
"From Kanto?" Sycamore asked.
"Right!" said Ash.
"We got our Pokémon from Professor Oak." said Jordan.
"We're traveling on a journey so I can become a Pokémon master and Jordan can become the best trainer." said Ash.
"Pikachu!"
"Lucario!"
"Then welcome." said Sycamore. "Forgive me for not thanking you yet for saving Froakie. It's much appreciated."
"It was nothing." said Jordan.
"The truth is Froakie saved us!" said Ash, then got serious. "So what's the deal with Froakie's trainer? What happened that would make him give Froakie up?"
"Or she?" asked Jordan.
"Well, one of my numerous responsibilities is to give trainers their very first Pokémon." said Sycamore. "Froakie's a Pokémon meant for new trainers. But this particular Froakie is a bit different, refusing to listen to its trainer during battle. There have been times when Froakie ran away, simply because it didn't like its trainer. And several trainers have come back to my lab just to return it."
"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko.
"You mean more than one?" asked Ash.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Wow." said Jordan.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"I'm sure Froakie acts that way for a reason." said Sycamore, assuring the kids.
"So Froakie's had a hard life." said Bonnie.
"I've heard quite a few rumors about a new trainer's first Pokémon like that, but it seemed absurd, so I never believed them." said Clemont.
"Pika." said Pikachu, then taps Jordan's arm to get her attention. "Pika, Pika. Pikachu?"
"You know us better than that." Jordan tells him.
"What, Jordan?" Ash asked.
"Pikachu was wondering if we were ever going to return him and Meeko back to Professor Oak." she tells her brother.
"She's right, Pikachu." said Ash.
"We would never return you and Meeko. You're family." said Jordan.
"Pikachu!"
"Lucario!"
"Garchomp!"
"Pika?" asked Pikachu as they all looked at a Garchomp.
"Gar, Garchomp!" it said to Froakie and its friend.
"Kie…" said its friend, placing its hand on the incubator glass.
"Check it out, a Garchomp!" said Ash.
"Cool." said Jordan.
"Pika, Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"Cario, Lucari!" said Meeko.
"Garchomp lives here at the lab." said Professor Sycamore, standing to walk over to Garchomp. "It has a good heart."
"Gar." said Garchomp, looking at its friend.
"Garchomp, how are you feeling?" the professor asked.
"Gar…" it replied as Sycamore pets it.
"Froak?" asked Froakie, opening its eyes.
"Gar…" said Garchomp.
"Froakie will be fine, don't worry." said Sycamore. "You can thank these people."
"Gar!" said Garchomp, turning around to face the quartet.
"Nice to meet you, Garchomp!" said Ash.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Hello." said Jordan.
"Lucari." said Meeko.
"You really care a lot, don't you?" asked Ash, then pets Garchomp. "Froakie's gonna be okay."
"Yep, it just needs some rest." said Jordan, hugging Garchomp.
"Promise." said the brother and sister.
"Gar, Gar!" Garchomp said happily.
"May I pet Garchomp too, please?" Bonnie asked Sycamore. "I've never seen a real Garchomp before!"
"Of course! Garchomp would really like that!" he said, smiling as he picks her up.
"Yay!" cheered Bonnie.
"Chomp!"
"Aw, you're so cute, good Pokémon." cooed Bonnie and Garchomp turns its head towards her. "Hey, you like me!"
"Professor?" Clemont asked.
"I've heard a lot about your research on Pokémon evolution. Is it true?" said Clemont.
"Yeah. There are a lot more Pokémon living here at the lab than Garchomp." said Sycamore.
"Oh, I wanna see them, I wanna see them!" said Bonnie, wiggling in the man's arms.
"Well, I think we can do something about that." said Sycamore.
"I wanna see them now!" said Bonnie.
"Please Professor Sycamore." said Jordan.
"Cosette, look after Garchomp, will you?" Sycamore asked.
"Of course, sure thing!" said Cosette. As Sycamore takes Bonnie and Clemont to see the other Pokémon, Clemont looks over at Ash and Jordan.
"Aren't you and Jordan coming, Ash?" he asked.
"Yeah. We'll catch up with you!" he said.
"We wanna keep an eye on Froakie." added Jordan.
"Oh, okay." said Clemont, then catches up with his sister. Ash and Jordan walked into the room where both Froakie were in.
"Hey, Froakie, I really want to thank you for saving me." said Ash, talking to the Froakie in the incubator.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Pikachu, Jordan, Meeko and I think you're awesome!" said Ash.
"Froakie…." said Froakie #1.
"Hi." said Jordan, looking at the other Froakie hanging outside of the incubator.
"Froakie." said Froakie #2.
"Your friend save my brother and Pikachu. Plus I think you and your friend are cute." said Jordan.
"Lucar, Lucar." said Meeko.
"I don't get it. I would like to have a Pokémon like you. Look what you did!" said Ash as Jordan, Pikachu and Meeko smiled. "You cared enough to save Pikachu. You're the best!"
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"You are the greatest Pokémon ever." said Jordan.
"Cari!" said Meeko.
"Combee!" shouted Combee as it flies through the air above Bonne and Clemont.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu as he, Meeko, Ash and Jordan walked in.
"Weedle!" said a wild Weedle.
"Wow! Amazing!" said Ash.
"So many!" said Jordan, then joins Bonnie.
"So, Ash, how's Froakie feeling?" Clemont asked.
"Much better!" said Ash. "Froakie's real strong!"
"Ash, Jordan, I've never seen these Pokémon!" said Bonnie as she hugs a Zigzagoon. "There's almost too many Pokémon to count!"
"Oh yeah? Normally you would see a Zigzagoon in the Hoenn region." said Jordan, scratching underneath Zigzagoon's chin.
"Zagoon!" said Zigzagoon.
"Wow, there's even a Helioptile!" said Ash, seeing one walk behind the girls.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Azurill!"
"Zigzagoon!"
"Pika!"
"Lucar!"
"So, Professor, what kind of evolution are you researching?" asked Ash.
"Well, if I told you that Pokémon may have an additional evolutionary stage, what would you say?" Sycamore asked.
"Are you serious?" asked Ash.
"I would say, if there is an additional evolutionary stage, can you share that kind of research with Professor Oak?" asked Jordan.
"Are you saying that Garchomp can still evolve?" asked Clemont.
"Possibly…that's my research." said Sycamore.
"Cool." said Jordan.
"Whoa…." said Ash.
"Unbelievable." said Clemont.
"There have been several reports about different Pokémon evolving in a way that we researchers refer to as 'Mega Evolution'." explained Sycamore.
"Mega Evolution?" asked Ash.
"Could Meeko Mega Evolve?" asked Jordan as Meeko runs over, wondering what was going on.
"She could….if she wanted to." said Sycamore.
"Lucario…" said Meeko, not sure if that's what she wanted to do.
"A lot of the mechanics are still a mystery…," said Sycamore. "But we believe that a strong bong between Pokémon and trainer, as well as a special stone, play a crucial role in evolving!"
"Strong bond, huh?" Ash asked as Jordan and Meeko looked at each other.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"What's more, a Pokémon's able to return to its previous form after it evolves this way!" Sycamore added.
"It can turn back?" Ash questioned, shocked by this.
"Cool." said Jordan and Meeko smiled at this.
"Mega Evolution….strong stuff!" said Meowth, listening in on what was being said.
"Further evolution, after evolving!" James said excitedly.
"The way is clear!" said Jessie, leaning forward. "Every Pokémon's ours! Catching time's here!"
"Wobbuffet!" shouted Wobbuffet, causing Team Rocket to shush it. Under new disguises, Team Rocket walks in to Professor Sycamore's lab.
"Oh, fellow researchers?" Jessie called out.
"We've come to research Mega Evolution!" added James.
"You have?" asked Sophie, unknown that Team Rocket's plan as they laughed.
"Froak?" asked Froakie #1, opening its eyes and sees its friend watching it.
"Kie, Froakie, Kie." said Froakie #2, smiling.
Froakie #1 returned the smile as the incubator doors opened and it sees Sophie talking to Team Rocket. "Kie?" Froakie #1 asked, watching the screen.
"We've come to be of scientific service!" said Meowth, standing on top of Wobbuffet, who was under the fake lab coat.
"I wasn't told anything about this." said Sophie as Garchomp and another researcher walked up.
"Froakie, Froakie." Froakie #1 said to Froakie #2, pointing to the screen.
"Froak?" it asked, looking up at the screen.
"Froakie." said Froakie #1.
"I'll check with the professor." said Cosette. Team Rocket looked at each other and starts whispering when Garchomp knew what they were planning.
"Gar!" it shouted.
"Kie! Froakie!" shouted the two Froakie, hopping out.
"Froakie!" said Froakie #1, point to Team Rocket.
"Gar!" exclaimed Garchomp, glaring at Team Rocket.
"That's the Froakie that blasted us off! And it brought its friend too." said Meowth.
"Then that's the one who should feel our research wrath first." said James, then takes out a device. "So, lets get ready to research!"
"Now, please, step aside." Jessie said to Sophie, pushing her away from Garchomp. "This research is not for the faint of heart."
"Voilà!" shouted James, throwing the device towards both Froakie when Garchomp steps in the way.
"Gar!" it said, protecting both Froakie when the device wrapped itself around Garchomp's neck. "Gar!"
"Froakie!" they shouted.
"Gar!" shouted Garchomp.
"Oh now, Garchomp!" shouted Sophie as it struggled against the device.
"Not our intended target, but whatever!" said Jessie. "They did say Garchomp might be able to Mega Evolve…."
"Gar!"
"Lets roll with the punches!" said Meowth. "It's a Garchomp grab!"
"Garchomp, we insist that you come along for the ride!" said James, taking out a remote and starts pressing holographic buttons.
"Garchomp!" it shouted as electricity sparks out from the collar.
"Kie! Froakie!" shouted the two Froakie, jumping onto Garchomp to help take the collar off.
"Garchomp, Garchomp!" shouted Garchomp as blue light came out of the collar, knocking off both Froakie. Garchomp became angry as it bellowed at the top of its lungs.
"Lucar?" Meeko asked, sensing an angry aura.
"Pika?" asked Pikachu. "Pikachu?"
"Hey, that's Garchomp." said Ash as they take off.
"Gar, Gar!" shouted Garchomp, attacking the room with a Hyper Beam and knocks over a bookshelf. "Garchomp."
"Hold on. This isn't how we planned it!" said Jessie.
"Come on, Garchomp, go with the program!" Meowth said to Garchomp.
"Most peculiar…" said James as he gathered the data.
"Gar!" bellowed Garchomp, becoming angrier than ever.
"Garchomp!" said Ash as he and the others arrived. "What's going on?"
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Lucario." said Meeko, sensing that it was Garchomp's aura.
"Professor, those three did this!" said Sophie.
"All right, who are you?" Professor Sycamore asked.
"Gar!" growled Garchomp.
"Prepare for trouble, all right, we're us!"
"And make it double, no muss, no fuss!"
"Oh, no, Team Rocket!" said Ash.
"You are such annoying, bad people!" shouted Bonnie.
"Team Rocket?" asked Sycamore.
"They're bad guys who try to steal everybody's Pokémon!" Ash explained.
"Try? We succeed!" said Jessie.
"And today, Garchomp will fill that need!" said James.
"Seriously?" Jordan asked Team Rocket. "You've made Garchomp angry!"
"Uh…." the three said.
"Lucar, Lucar!" shouted Meeko, pointing to Meowth.
"Yeah, I wouldn't blame Garchomp if it uses any attacks on you." said Jordan. "Hopefully the next time you blast off, you three can land on your heads."
"So what!" shouted Meowth. "There's nothing like doing an evil deed!"
"He's so getting another bath." Jordan whispered to Meeko.
"It cant be! A talking Meowth?" said a shocked Sycamore.
"The wisdom gushes out of my mouth." said Meowth.
"Garchomp!" shouted Garchomp, firing another round of Hyper Beam and aims it at Team Rocket.
"Foul, no fair!" shouted Team Rocket.
"Wobbuffet!" shouted Wobbuffet.
"Ga…"
"What, Garchomp?" Ash asked. "What's going on?"
"What's wrong?" asked Jordan.
"Gar!" shouted Garchomp, going three for three.
"Look out!" shouted Ash as Meeko grabs Jordan and Bonnie, rushing them to safety. "What was that for?"
"Hey, look at Garchomp's neck!" said Clemont, seeing what Team Rocket left behind.
"Gar, Gar!" groaned Garchomp as the collar sparked around its neck. "Gar!"
"Its some sort of collar!" said Sycamore.
"It's from those people!" said Sophie.
"What?" asked Sycamore.
"Gar!"
"Garchomp jumped in to save the two Froakie." she explained as Garchomp staggered towards the door and takes off threw the window.
"Gar!"
"Garchomp!" shouted Ash and Jordan.
"Gar!"
"Pika!"
"Lucario!"
"Garchomp must be in a lot of pain…" said Ash.
"That collar is hurting it…" said Jordan.
"What's gonna happen to Garchomp?" Bonnie asked, holding onto Clemont.
"Lets go after it!" said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"You got it, Ash!" said Jordan.
"Lucar!" said Meeko.
"Please! Be very careful!" Sycamore called after them, then turns to his fellow researcher. "Sophie, check to see if the other Pokémon are okay!"
"Right!" she said, checking on the other Pokémon.
"Oh, Clemont, I wish we could help poor Garchomp out…" said Bonnie as he hugged her.
"Then lets go, too!" said Clemont, determined.
"Kie!" said Froakie and its friend, stopping the Ketchum siblings and their Pokémon.
"Froakie, what?" asked Ash.
"Froak!" said Froakie #1.
"Great! You both wanna come?" asked Ash.
"Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"Froak, Froak!" said Froakie as it and its friend joined to help out.
"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko as they all headed out.
"Gar, Gar!" Garchomp said as it flew through the sky and attacks Lumiose City. "Gar, Gar…"
"Attention, citizens!" said Officer Jenny. "There's a Garchomp currently on a wild rampage! Please evacuate the area immediately!"
Up in the sky was a news chopper. "At present, Garchomp is flying toward Prism Tower!" said the news reporter as they followed Garchomp who finally landed.
"Gar!"
Garchomp turns around and attacks the chopper with Hyper Beam, knocking it back. "Garchomp is now unleashing random Hyper Beams!" said the news reporter as her cameraman kept filming. "It just aimed one straight at our helicopter! Garchomp seems extremely agitated!"
Back at the ranch, Grace sips her tea as she watches the news. "Have a look at this." she said to Serena, who was in the fridge. "Something unbelievable is happening."
"Oh, yeah?" asked Serena, angry at her mother. "Well, something unbelievable has happened to my face, okay?"
"Gah! Oh." said Grace, forgotten what she did for the moment and looked away from her daughter.
"Huh?" said Serena, walking over into the living room and saw the news. "What movie is this?"
"Its real." Grace tells her. "And live from Lumiose City! Something awful's going on…"
"Gar!" roared Garchomp.
"Garchomp!" shouted Ash and Jordan as they arrived at the bottom of Prism Tower.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"Meeko, I need you to sense what Garchomp's feeling. Now!" said Jordan.
"Lucario!" she said, using her energy with Jordan to sense Garchomp.
"There you are, Ash and Jordan!" said Bonnie as she and Clemont caught up to them.
"Gar, Gar…" growled Garchomp.
"Cario!" said Meeko as she assessed Garchomp.
"Garchomp's angry and confused, Ash." said Jordan. "We gotta do something."
"We've gotta try and get close to it." said Ash.
"But that's dangerous!" exclaimed Clemont.
"No, Garchomp's the one who's in danger!" said Ash. "Jordan and I have gotta find a way to get that collar off!"
"Lucar…." Meeko said, thinking.
"Oh no, you're not using that move." said Jordan.
"Cario." said Meeko.
"Froak?" asked Froakie #1
"I know!" said Clemont, already have an idea. "If getting close to Garchomp is what you and Jordan need to do, I think I just came up with a way!"
"You did?" asked Ash and Jordan.
"There's an emergency stairwell through that door." said Clemont, taking them to the side of Prism Tower. "Good thing I brought my backpack."
"Huh?"
"Why is that a good thing?" asked Jordan.
"The future is now, thanks to science!" said Clemont, then pushes up his glasses. "All right, Clemontic Gear on! Aipom Arm, let's go!"
"Wow, check that out!" said Ash as Jordan's eyes widen in amazement.
"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko as the Aipom arm went to work.
"Now we can get in!" said Clemont.
"Pika!"
"Lucar!"
"Man, science is so amazing!" said Ash.
"Its awesome!" said Jordan.
"You've got that right!" said Bonnie, proud of her brother. "It's my brother's invention!"
"I must admit, I'm kind of good at these things." said Clemont.
"Thanks, Clemont." said Ash as the door opened.
"Sure thing." he said, then looks up as if a Hyper Beam was aimed at him and Bonnie, knocking them both back. Ash, Jordan, Pikachu, Meeko and both Froakie were knocked inside.
"Clemont, Bonnie! You okay?" asked Ash.
"Yeah, but don't worry about us!" said Clemont. "You and Jordan get going."
"'kay, we're on it!" said Ash.
"We'll be back as soon as we can." said Jordan as they took off towards the stairs. On the ground, Professor Sycamore arrives on the scene.
"Officer Jenny!" he called out.
"Professor Sycamore!" she said.
"I'm sorry about the trouble." Sycamore said to her. "So where's Garchomp?"
"Hey, up there!" said a man in the crowd, pointing at the tower.
"Huh?"
"Its some kids." he said. Sycamore and Officer Jenny looked up to see Ash and Jordan on the tower.
"What? Its Ash and his sister, Jordan." said Sycamore.
"Ah…." gasped Officer Jenny.
"Great…we're going to be on the news." said Jordan.
"I hope that Momma Delia doesn't see this." said Meeko.
"Pikachu." added Pikachu.
"Garchomp! Gar…." said Garchomp, trying to get the collar off unknown that Ash and Jordan were getting close.
"Hey, Garchomp…" said Ash.
"Gar?" it asked, turning around and released another Hyper Beam. "Garchomp!"
Black smoke appeared off of the tower as Clemont and Bonnie backed away. "Oh, I wonder if Ash and Jordan are all right." said Bonnie, worriedly.
"Gar, Gar…."
"Please, Garchomp, you've gotta calm down!" said Ash.
"You're scaring people of this city." said Jordan.
"Gar, Gar!" said Garchomp.
"Froak!" said the Froakie.
"Pikachu!" said Pikachu.
"Lucario!" said Meeko.
"There's a boy and a girl up on Prism Tower!" said the news reporter. "Could they be trying to talk to Garchomp?"
"I wonder if that boy's Garchomp's trainer." said Grace.
"Garchomp! Garchomp!" Garchomp said to Ash and Jordan as it takes off.
"Garchomp, come back!" they called out.
"Pika! Lucari!" shouted Pikachu and Meeko.
"Gar!" Ash looked behind him and sees a ladder attached to the tower. They started climbing up even higher to get to Garchomp.
"There they are!" said Bonnie, watching Ash and Jordan climb. "I cant believe how brave Ash and Jordan are when it comes to helping out Pokémon!"
Clemont then remembers how Ash and Jordan caught Pikachu and Meeko when Team Rocket hurt them. He then remembers how concerned the four of them were when Ash was carrying Froakie #1.
"I need to get up there!" said Clemont.
"Wait! I'm going with you!" said Bonnie as Clemont starts to move the rubble.
"Now…" he said, climbing through the hole he made with Bonnie climbing in after him. "Take my hand, Bonnie!"
"Thank you!" she said.
"Pi!" said Pikachu as Ash climbed up the last leg before pulling Jordan and Meeko up.
"Garchomp!" shouted Garchomp, sending Hyper Beam at something random.
"Jordan and I are here to help, Garchomp!" said Ash.
"And we're not leaving until that collar is off of you." added Jordan.
"Unbelievable!" said the news reporter as Serena watched intensely. "That boy and girl have climbed to the top of Prism Tower!"
"Gar!" shouted Garchomp as it sends Hyper Beam at the siblings.
"Pika…." said Pikachu, sparks flying out of his cheeks.
"No, Pikachu!" said Ash.
"Pika?" he asked.
"Cario…" said Meeko, getting ready to start Aura Sphere.
"Not yet, Meeko." said Jordan, placing her arm out in front of her Pokémon.
"Wait." said Ash. "I don't want either of you to attack Garchomp."
"Gar…"
"Pikachu!" begged Pikachu.
"Gar…"
"Pikachu, think about it." said Jordan. "What if this was you or Meeko. Would the both of you want someone to help take it off?"
"Pika, Pika. Pikachu." Pikachu tells her.
"Lucario." said Meeko, nodding. Sighing, Clemont and Bonnie made it to the top.
"Pull yourself together, Clemont." Bonnie tells him.
"My legs…" he said tiredly as he dragged himself across the ground. "Huh? Where's Ash and Jordan?"
"Up there!" said Bonnie, pointing to where they were. "At the top of the tower."
"Garchomp, can you hear us?" asked Ash as he and Jordan jumped back from another Hyper Beam. "I know it hurts. You're in a lot of pain!"
"We can help you get it off if you let us help you." said Jordan.
"Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"Froak!" said the Froakie.
"Cario!" said Meeko.
"We just wanna help you." said Ash.
"Please." said Jordan.
"Please, let one of us get that collar off of you so we can go back down!" said Ash as brother and sister calmly walked towards Garchomp.
"Gar!"
"Please." said Ash. "So whadda you say?"
"Want to be pain free from the collar?" asked Jordan.
"Gar! Gar!" said Garchomp, struggling as red sparks came out. "Gar!"
For a second, its eyes went normal before it started walking back and tries to take the collar off. "Wait! Garchomp look out!" shouted Ash.
"Garchomp no!" shouted Jordan.
"Froakie, Froak!" shouted the two Froakie, each of them grabbing Frubbles from their necks and threw them at Garchomp's feet, sticking it to the tower.
"Good thinking, Froakie!" said Ash.
"He wont fall off now." said Jordan.
"Gar!"
"We've gotta destroy that collar!" said Ash.
"Pika! Lucar!"
"Gar! Gar!" shouted Garchomp.
"Garchomp!" shouted Ash as he and Jordan hopped on it. "Hang on and we'll get this thing off of you!"
"Calm down, Garchomp!" said Jordan, hugging it from the back.
"Gar!" shouted Garchomp, trying to throw off the siblings.
"Pikachu, use Iron Tail on the collar!" said Ash.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu, jumping into the air to slice the collar. "Chu, Pika!"
"Gar, Gar!" shouted Garchomp, feeling free from the collar as it falls forward to its knees.
"Are you okay?" asked Ash.
"Froakie! Froak!" said the two Froakie.
"Lucar…" said Meeko, doing an aura check. "Lucario."
"Looks like Garchomp is better now." said Jordan, smiling at Meeko.
"Thanks, Meeko." said Ash as she gives him a huge smile. "That must've hurt. Help's on the way, don't worry."
"Gar." Garchomp said, thanking the two siblings.
"Pi, Pika?" asked Pikachu when suddenly the ground beneath him and Meeko fell apart.
"Pikachu! Meeko!" shouted Ash and Jordan.
"Pika!" screamed Pikachu.
"Cario!" screamed Meeko.
"Froak?" asked Froakie when Ash and Jordan jumped over the edge. Sycamore, Bonnie, Clemont, Officer Jenny and Serena gasped as they watched both siblings fall to their doom to catch their Pokémon.
"Pikachu!" shouted Ash as they both grabbed their Pokémon.
"Meeko, hold on!" shouted Jordan.
"Pika, Pi! Lucari!" said Pikachu and Meeko as their trainers closed their eyes. Just before they could hit the ground, something save Ash, Pikachu, Jordan and Meeko.
"Whats that?" asked Sycamore as it passes by him and Officer Jenny.
"Pika?" Pikachu asked.
"Who caught us?" asked Jordan.
"I don't know." said Meeko.
"Whoa, its you…" said Ash, looking up. "that Pokémon."
"The one from the airport?" asked Jordan. The unknown Pokémon lands on the ground and sets the siblings down.
"Thanks a lot." said Ash.
"You saved us." said Jordan.
"Blaz!" it said.
"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko as it takes off.
"What a relief!" said Bonnie as Clemont sighs.
"Froak, Froakie!" said the Froakie, smiling at each other.
"Gar!" said Garchomp.
"Hey, Ash, Pikachu! Jordan, Meeko!" said Sycamore, running up to them. "Thank goodness the four of you didn't get hurt."
"The four of us are doing great, and Garchomp's all back to normal." said Ash.
"For a minute there, I thought we were going to be Ketchum pancakes." said Jordan.
"Thank you Ash and Jordan." said Sycamore. "Officer Jenny is on her way to get them now."
"Professor, about that Pokémon…." said Ash as the three of them looked up to see a man and his Pokémon on top of a building.
"Great job, Blaziken!" said the masked man.
"Blaziken!" it said as went back from being in its Mega Evolution form.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"That was Blaziken's Mega Evolution." said Sycamore. "That's Mega Blaziken."
"Mega Blaziken?" asked Ash.
"Another research topic for me." said Professor Sycamore. Meeko starts thinking and turns to Jordan, who knew what she was going to ask. "You want to see what you look like in your Mega Evolution form, don't you?" asked Jordan.
"Lucari, Cairo." said Meeko, nodding.
"Then lets do it." said Jordan.
"I want to see what Meeko looks like too." said Ash.
"Pika, Pika!" added Pikachu.
"Mega Blaziken!" Ash and Jordan shouted into the night. "Thanks for everything!"
"Pika, Pika!"
"Lucario!"
"Aah! What a relief." said Serena, sitting down on the couch. Soon as the camera does a close up of Ash and Jordan, she then takes a closer look.
"That boy and girl." she said to herself. "No, it couldn't be…."
The next day, Ash and the others were leaving Sycamore's lab. "Hope you all got some sleep, even though it's a mess in there." said Sycamore.
"I know that we tried." said Jordan, yawning with Meeko.
"Lucario." said a tired Meeko.
"Yeah, I slept like a log!" said Ash.
"Best sleep I've had in a long time!" said Bonnie.
"Thank you for everything!" said Clemont.
"I guess your real journey begins now, doesn't it Ash and Jordan?" asked Sycamore.
"Yup!" said Ash and Jordan.
"Oh and by the way, have you both received a Kalos region Pokedex yet?" the Kalos professor asked.
"No." said Ash.
"Not yet." said Jordan.
"Then please take this with you on your journey and make good use of it." said Sycamore, handing the Pokedex to Ash.
"I like it." said Jordan.
"Me too. Thanks a lot, Professor. Are the three of you ready to go?" asked Ash and Jordan nodded.
"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko.
"Good luck with your research, Professor." said Ash.
"I'll take a picture of Meeko in her Mega Evolution form." said Jordan.
"Bye!" they said as they were about to take off.
"Froak." said the two Froakie, throwing their Frubbles as they looked up at the siblings with their Pokéballs in front of them.
"Froakie!" said Ash as they went up to them.
"Froak!" said Froakie #1 as it and its friend rolled their Pokéballs at Ash and Jordan.
"Hey, I think they want to go with you." said Sycamore.
"You want to come with us?" asked Jordan, picking up the Pokéball as Froakie #2 nodded.
"I cant believe it." said Clemont. "Both Froakie chose you!"
"They really like Ash and Jordan." said Bonnie. "That's so sweet!"
"You think so, huh?" asked Ash, picking up Froakie #1's Pokéball.
"I'm honored that you have chosen me." said Jordan.
"Lucario!" said Meeko, smiling at Froakie #2.
"So, Froakie, do you wanna come with us?" Ash asked the two water Pokémon.
"Froakie!" they both said, tapping their Pokéballs and went inside.
"Its awesome you're coming with us, Froakie." said Ash as his Froakie nodded.
"We're going to have an awesome adventure." added Jordan as her Froakie nodded as well.
"Pikachu, Meeko, these Froakie's our first friends in Kalos." said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Cario!" said Meeko.
"Yes! We each got a Froakie!" shouted Ash and Jordan. "Yeah!"
"Pi, Pikachu!"
"Lucario!"
Narrator: Our heroes have their first Pokémon from the Kalos region: Froakie!
Jordan: I know exactly what to name my Froakie.
Narrator: You do?
Jordan: Yep.
Narrator, smiling off screen: That's great! Now, what other friend and adventures await Ash and Jordan? Find out, as the journey continues!
"Breakfast!" said Serena, placing a bowl of Pokémon food out in front of Rhyhorn. "Eat it all up."
"Rhy." said Rhyhorn, then starts eating as Serena giggles.
"Wow, Rhyhorn. I have this feeling something interesting is about to happen." she said to Rhyhorn as she remembers a younger Ash and Jordan. "It must be that boy and girl…Right! Let's go!"
