Attention all readers-To anyone who reads my Pokemon fanfiction...please stop wishing that 'Skylar the Eevee/Espeon/Umbreon' would come back. Meeko the Riolu/Lucario is now the current Pokemon for Jordan. If I ever chose to combine all the regions into one huge fanfic (which I might do at some point, but its just an idea), the option of changing my OC's name and Pokemon will be at that point. The name 'Skylar' will be recycled for another Pokemon. That is final. Also, I will neither confirm nor deny that Jordan would get an Eevee. Right now, just be happy with the fact that I'm writing something for the Pokemon fandom.

"Rhyhorn!" yawned Rhyhorn, waking up as it looks up at Serena's house. Serena was in her room, twirling around as she looks at her outfit. She looked at her hat and wasn't satisfied with it. Going over to the table with all the other hats, Serena continued to search for the right one until she heard a knock at the door.
"Yeah, come in." said Serena.
"Are you going out?" asked Grace.
"Fletchling!" said Fletchling.
"Hey, mom….which one should I wear?" Serena asked, picking up two hats.
"Hmm." said Grace, looking at the hats and points to one. "I'd go with that!"
"'Kay, this one!" said Serena, looking at the other hat.
"Fletch, Fletch!" said Fletchling, letting Serena put on her hat.
"If you already knew, why did you ask?" Grace questioned her daughter.
"Whichever one you didn't pick is the cuter one, that's why!" said Serena.
"Fletchling!" Fletchling said in agreement.
"I see." said Grace. "So, where are you going?"
"Lumiose City!" Serena tells her. "To see Professor Sycamore and to get my very first Pokémon!"
"Chling! Chling!" chirped Fletchling.
Narrator: In Lumiose City, Ash and Jordan have just befriended a couple of Froakie, their first Kalos region Pokémon, at Professor Sycamore's research lab.
Jordan: And they're very cute too,
Meeko, nodding: Lucario!
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu as he chase Bonnie, Jordan and Meeko.
"Come on, hurry it up, you two!" said Bonnie. "Ash, you can register for the Kalos League over this way!"
"Hurry!" said Jordan.
"Pika! Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Yeah, we know, Bonnie!" said Ash.
"There's no need to rush. The Pokémon center will still be there." said Clemont.
"Cario!" said Meeko, then rushes over to Ash and Clemont, pushing them towards the girls. "Lucario!"
"Meeko, you don't have to rush us!" said Clemont.
"Cari!" said Meeko, still pushing Ash.
"Meeko." said Ash, chuckling at his sister's partner.
"Sorry, Ash. You know Meeko is." said Jordan.
"What do you mean?" asked Bonnie.
"Meeko loves it when Ash enters every league there is." Jordan explained. "It gives her time to not only help Ash train his Pokémon…"
"I also help Jordan train Meeko and her other Pokémon in practice battles." added Ash. "It works both ways. Thanks a lot, Clemont. It's nice of you to bring us here."
"Please think nothing of it, Ash." Clemont tells him. "I confess, I'm a little in awe of you and Jordan!"
"In awe?" asked Ash.
"You and Jordan were willing to do anything you both could to help Pikachu, Meeko and that Garchomp back there." Clemont explained. "Just watching you both gave me courage!"
"Oh, come on…" said Ash. "It wasn't that big of a deal."
"It was!" said Clemont. "I can totally understand why both Froakie chose the two of you."
"Pika!" squealed Pikachu as he continued to chase Bonnie around. Ash looks down at the Pokémon that held his Froakie while Clemont looked up at Prism Tower.
"I'll just have to do better..." Clemont said to himself.
"Hmm?" Ash asked, looking at Clemont.
"Sorry!" said Clemont, turning back around. "Just talking to myself."
Both sets of siblings arrived at the Pokémon center for Ash to register. "Wow!" said Ash as Bonnie and Jordan run in laughing.
"Good morning." said Nurse Joy of Lumiose City.
"Good morning to you, Nurse Joy!" said Jordan and Ash.
"At this Pokémon center, helping Pokémon in need is our number one goal!" she said. "We're her for trainers and Pokémon alike!"
"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko.
"I was hoping you could help me register for the Kalos League." said Ash.
"Can you direct me to a bathroom. I think it's time that a certain Pokémon of mine gets her face washed." said Jordan, looking at Meeko.
"Cario! Lucari!" said Meeko, crossing her arms and turning away.
"I love you and all, but you need wash your face, Meeko." said Jordan as Pikachu jumps onto Ash. "Your face is a little dirty."
"I sure can and the bathrooms are that way." said Nurse Joy, pointing Jordan in the right direction. "If you please, touch this panel with your Pokedex."
"Okay!" said Ash, taking out his Pokedex and placing it on the panel.
"Ash from Pallet Town is now registered to enter the Kalos league." said a male computerized voice. "Number of Badges currently in your possession, zero. We wish you the best of luck."
"You're all set now, Ash!" said Clemont.
"Awesome! And I'm gonna win!" he said, then touches his hat. "My next step in becoming a Pokémon master!"
"And every registered trainer is eligible to receive a Kalos region badge case. Here." said Nurse Joy and a Wigglytuff came out with a badge case.
"Wigglytuff!" it said, handing the badge case to Ash as Jordan and Meeko returned from the bathroom.
"Feel better now?" Jordan asked.
"Lucario." answered Meeko.
"A Wigglytuff!" said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Cool! I guess that a Wigglytuff helps Nurse Joy in the Pokémon centers here in the Kalos region." said Jordan.
"Cario." said Meeko.
"Why yes. Here in the Kalos region, my able Pokémon center assistant is Wigglytuff." said Nurse Joy.
"That's great!" said Ash. "Thanks, Wigglytuff."
"Wigglytuff." said Wigglytuff.
"In Kanto, our Nurse Joys have a Chansey as their assistant." said Jordan.
"Wow! A Chansey?!" asked Bonnie and Jordan nodded.
"You're all registered. Good luck!" said Nurse Joy. "Train hard and always do your best!"
"Right!" said Ash. "Count on it!"
"Pika!" said Pikachu. Somewhere in Lumiose City, Team Rocket was sitting down at a café.
"Good news boss. We arrived in the Kalos region on time and according to plan." Meowth said to the hologram version of their boss.
"Our goal is to catch as many rare and powerful Pokémon as possible." said James.
"And we're totally committed to that goal." said Jessie, unknown to them a Pokémon took a croissant. "You can count on us."
Back in Kanto at Team Rocket Headquarters, Giovanni was petting Persian. "Good. I'm certain the Pokémon you catch will be an important addition to our work." he said. "Get to it! I have another phone call to make."
"Sir!" said Team Rocket and ended the call.
"I hope that little girl calls me at some point to tell me how many times they tried to capture both her and her brother's Pokémon." Giovanni said to himself.
"Persian." purred Persian.
Back in Kalos, Jessie, James and Meowth leaned in, laughing with each other and grinning. "Yes!" shouted James.
"The Boss said for us to get to it!" shouted Jessie.
"He's counting on us! Yippee yay!" added James.
"We're the first step in Team Rocket's takeover of Kalos, 'cause no one does takeovers like we do!" said Meowth. James then looks down at his plate.
"Huh? My croissant…" he said. Underneath the table, a small squid like Pokémon eats James' croissant.
"Inkay?" it said, finishing it off.
"AAH!" Ash and Jordan cried out as Rotom appeared on the phone call.
"Really, Rotom?" asked Jordan, grabbing her heart.
"Rotom, Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom!" said Rotom.
"That Rotom is going to scare us to death." said Meeko.
"If it does, you and I are being buried in the same grave." said Jordan.
"We better." said Meeko.
"Hey, Rotom." said Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Rotom!" said Rotom, then leaves as Professor Oak appears.
"Hello, Ash and Jordan." said the Kanto Professor. "How are things so far?"
"Great!" said Ash.
"Fantastic." said Jordan.
"We arrived safely in the Kalos region." said Ash. "We're gonna start our journey soon."
"Good!" said Professor Oak. "Have fun on the road and stay close to your brother."
"Thanks." said Ash.
"I promise that I will." said Jordan.
"We've already caught our first Kalos Pokémon." said Ash.
"Wonderful." said Professor Oak.
"Check it out!" said Ash and Jordan, bringing out Froakie and Kai.
"What have we here?" Professor Oak asked. "A Froakie. A Kalos Water-type Pokémon."
"Froakie." said Kai and Froakie.
"You're right." said Ash. "You know everything!"
"And you know me, I already gave mine a name." said Jordan.
"I most certainly do." said the professor.
"Kai?" said Jordan, causing Kai to hop into her arms. "This is Professor Oak, our Kanto professor."
"Froak, Froakie." said Kai, waving to the man.
"So cute." said Professor Oak.
"Rotom!" said Rotom, reappearing.
"Hey, Rotom!" said Professor Oak. "I cant see! Move!"
"Rotom, Tom, Tom, Tom, Tom!" said Rotom as Professor Oak brings it away from the screen and gives the man an electric shock.
"Ah…." said Ash, Pikachu and Froakie.
"That's embarrassing." said Jordan.
"Lucari! Kie." said Meeko and Kai. Once they ended the phone call, they ran outside of the Pokémon center.
"Guys! Thanks for waiting!" said Ash as he and Jordan ran over to Clemont and Bonnie.
"Hi, Ash!" said Clemont. "Didn't you tell us you were going to challenge the Santalune Gym first?"
"Yeah! I'm pretty sure the Gym Leader should be back by now." said Ash.
"I think the best way to get to Santalune City is by traveling Route Four all the way there!" Clemont suggested.
"Then Route Four it is." said Ash, then looks at Pikachu, Jordan and Meeko. "Aren't you psyched, you three?"
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"You bet! Meeko and I will be cheering you on." said Jordan.
"Lucario!" said Meeko.
"Froakie, you're gonna be great!" said Ash.
"Froakie!" said Froakie.
"Kie! Kie!" said Kai.
"So why don't we hit the road?" asked Clemont.
"Lets go!" said Bonnie.
"Huh?" said Jordan and Ash.
"The sooner we leave, the sooner we're there!" said Clemont.
"You don't have to show me around anymore…." said Ash.
"Unless you want to that is." said Jordan.
"Silly Ash and Jordan!" said Bonnie. "We're all really, really good friends now, right? So we're going with you."
"No joke?" asked Ash.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"You mean it?" asked Jordan.
"Lucar!" said Meeko.
"We're serious." said Clemont. "Remember what you both did back there? You both showed me what it's like to have real courage. I know I can get stronger. We both can get stronger traveling with you!"
"You're right, Clemont!" said Bonnie.
"So….that okay?" he asked.
"Pika! Froakie! Lucario!"
"Of course its okay!" said Ash. "Traveling with friends is way more fun!"
"Especially when I have someone closer to my age that I can talk to." Jordan said, hugging Bonnie.
"All right, it's a deal." said Ash. "We'll have a great time!"
"Yeah, we sure will!" said Clemont as he and Ash shake hands.
"Hey, no fair!" said Bonnie.
"What about us?" asked Jordan.
"We can't reach!" Bonnie complained. Both older brothers kneeled down for their younger siblings. "Let's go meet lots and lots of Pokémon!"
"Pika! Lucar! Froakie!"
"Right! Good friends!" said Ash. "Together! Kalos, here we come!"
"Pika! Lucar!" said Pikachu and Meeko.
"Yeah!"
"Rhyhorn!" Serena called out as she entered the yard. "Gotta go. Wish me luck!"
"Horn!" growled Rhyhorn, rubbing its face against hers.
"So do you know which Pokémon you want?" Grace asked. Serena nodded with a smile on her face. "Which one?"
"It's a secret." said Serena, holding onto her hat as she got up and the wind blew threw her hair. "I'm off…later!"
"Bye! Take care!" said Grace.
"Horn!" said Rhyhorn, wishing her luck.
"Don't forget to practice your Rhyhorn Racing!" Grace called out after her daughter.
"I won't! Bye!" Serena said over her shoulder.
"Horn!" shouted Rhyhorn. Grace sighs as she watched her daughter take off to get her very first Pokémon. "I guess we'll just see about that…" said Grace.
In the forest, a smaller size mouse ran up a tree. "Denne, Denne, Denne, Denne." it said as it ran across the tree branch. "Denne, Denne, Denne, Denne, Denne. Denne! Dedenne!"
Below it, Ash and the others were passing by. "Froakie, Froakie, Froakie…." said Kai and Froakie as they both hopped ahead of Bonnie, Pikachu, Jordan and Meeko.
"Froakie?" asked Froakie, stopping for a moment with Kai following suit.
"Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"Lucar?" asked Meeko.
"Hey, what's up you four?" asked Ash.
"Dedenne!" said Dedenne, pulling on a berry.
"Froak? Pika? Lucar?" asked the Pokémon as they hear a struggle.
"Dedenne, Dedenne!" said Dedenne, pulling hard on the berry when it pulled too hard, causing it to fall from its hands and out of the tree. "Dedeenne!" Soon enough, the berry hit Pikachu on the head before landing on the ground.
"Pi? Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"Froak?" asked Kai and Froakie.
"Lucar?" asked Meeko, then turns to Pikachu. "Lucario?"
"Pika, Pika." Pikachu tells her, rubbing where the berry hit him then scurries over to the berry. "Pi, Pi…Pika?"
Out of nowhere, Dedenne sends a little static bolt towards the berry, getting it away from Pikachu and it hits Bonnie in the face. "What the?" asked Jordan, rushing over to Bonnie.
"What was that?" asked Ash.
"Bonnie, are you okay?" asked Clemont.
"Pika. Cario." said Pikachu and Meeko.
"Wow, that was a shock…" said Bonnie.
"What was it?" asked Clemont, looking up into the tree tops.
"We know that it's not Pikachu, because he knows what to do when it comes to shocking me and Ash." said Jordan.
"Jordan's right about that." said Ash.
"Denne, Denne, Denne." said Dedenne, scurrying down.
"Pika!" said Pikachu. Bonnie picks up the berry that was thrown at her.
"Maybe it wanted this…" she said when suddenly, Dedenne scurried out of the tall grass.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu, stopping Dedenne in its tracks.
"Huh?" said the quartet.
"Never seen that Pokémon!" said Ash.
"Dedenne!" Dedenne said angrily at Pikachu.
"Its cute." said Jordan.
"Pika, Pika?" Pikachu asked Jordan.
"You and Meeko will never lose your place as being the top cute Pokémon in my book." said Jordan as Bonnie squeals in excitement.
"Its so cute!" said Bonnie.
"See?" Jordan asked Pikachu. "You're not gonna lose your place with me."
Dedenne sees its food in Bonnie's hand. "Dedenne…" it said, slowly walking over to Bonnie when Pikachu stops it. "Dedenne!"
Pikachu sends out warning sparks at Dedenne, then said, "Pika, Pika!" Sparks flew at each other.
"It sure doesn't look like its afraid of us!" said Bonnie.
"They're Electric types, so they can communicate with electricity." explained Clemont.
"Oh, so that's an electric type, huh?" asked Ash.
"I wonder what they're saying." said Jordan.
"Cario." said Meeko as Ash gets out the Pokedex.
"Dedenne, the Antenna Pokémon." said Dexter. "Dedenne communicates long distance with other Dedenne by sending radio waves through its antenna-like whiskers."
"Wow….so that's a Dedenne!" said Ash.
"Cool! Lucar!" said Jordan and Meeko.
"I want it so bad!" said Bonnie, then grabs Clemont's arm. "Hey, you'll keep it for me, won't you?"
"Keep it?" asked Ash.
"Yeah!" said Bonnie. "He'll keep it for me until I'm old enough to become a trainer. Don't you do that for Jordan?"
"No, he never did that for me." said Jordan. "When I got Meeko, she was an egg before she hatched. Then I started to catch my other Pokémon as I went with Ash."
"You caught your other Pokemon?!" asked Clemont and Bonnie.
"Yep. Some of them were either given to her as an egg, followed her or she battled that Pokémon." said Ash.
"Where are they now?" asked Clemont.
"They're all back in Kanto right now, waiting for me to be an official Pokémon trainer when I turn 10." said Jordan. "That way, when I do the Pokémon leagues, I'll use those region Pokémon."
"Awesome!" said Bonnie with stars in her eyes, then turns back to her brother. "Pretty, pretty please? I promise I'll take care of it…"
"Hmm…" Clemont said, thinking for a moment. "Let me see…"
"Aww, do it!" said Ash. "I can help you catch it if you want."
"And I can help Bonnie take care of it." said Jordan. "I've done a great job with taking care of Meeko."
"Lucario." Meeko said, nodding.
"You will? Thanks a lot Ash and Jordan." Bonnie said.
"All right, then." said Clemont as Bonnie smiled and nodded. "Let's catch Dedenne."
"Huh? Right…" said Bonnie, looking down at what Dedenne was going for. "Hey, Dedenne."
"Denne!"
"You wanted this, right?" asked Bonnie, holding out the berry in her hand.
"It must have thought Pikachu was gonna take it." said Ash.
"Pikachu wouldn't do that to other Pokémon." said Jordan.
"That's right." said Bonnie as Dedenne walked up to her.
"Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Here, take it!" said Bonnie. Just as Dedenne was about to take the berry, a wild Fletchling swoops down and takes it out of Bonnie's hand.
"Dedenne!" shouted Dedenne. Everyone gasped as Fletchling heads over to a tree.
"Hey, what's the big idea?" Ash asked. "We've never seen that Pokémon either!"
"It's a Fletchling!" said Clemont.
"No fair!" shouted Bonnie, shaking her fists at Fletchling. "That berry belongs to Dedenne!"
"That was Dedenne's lunch!" said Jordan.
"Fletch, Fletch!" said Fletchling, eating the berry anyway. "Fletchling, Fletchling!"
"Fletchling at the berry." said Clemont.
"I can't believe that it's taunting us." said Jordan as Ash got Dexter out again.
"Fletchling, the Tiny Robin Pokémon. Although Fletchling's chirp is quite beautiful to hear, it is relentlessly tough to those who enter its territory." said Dexter.
"Fletch, Fletchling!"
"Pika? Cari?" Pikachu and Meeko asked as tears welled up in Dedenne's eyes.
"Lucario…" said Meeko, getting Jordan's attention.
"Oh no." said Jordan, seeing Dedenne.
"Dedenne, Dedenne, Dedenne, Dedenne…." said Dedenne.
"Froakie!" said Kai and Froakie.
"Hey, Dedenne, what's the matter?" asked Bonnie.
"Dedenne!" cried Dedenne, tears finally falling down its face as it takes off.
"Dedenne, wait!" Bonnie called out after it.
"Dedenne!" said Dedenne, taking off into the tall grass.
"I don't think its going to come back…" said Clemont.
"Froak?" Froakie asked.
"Froakie?" asked Kai.
"Bonnie, don't cry." said Jordan.
"Cario." said Meeko, hugging the young blonde.
"Froak!" shouted Froakie, throwing its Frubbles.
"Fletch! Fletch, Fletchling!" said Fletchling, dodging Froakie's Frubbles.
"It dodged all of that!" said Clemont.
"Froakie!"
"Froakie, Froakie!" said Kai, hopping angrily in place.
"Look at that!" said Ash. "Fletchling's fast."
"Real fast." added Jordan.
"All right…" said Ash. "I'm gonna catch that Fletchling now!"
"And then we're gonna get Dedenne." said Jordan.
"Fletchling!" said Fletchling, challenging Ash.
"Fletchling's a flying type." said Clemont. "Pikachu has the advantage as an electric type!"
"Froak…Kie…" said Froakie, as it and Kai looked up at Bonnie while Jordan and Meeko held her.
"'Kay, Pikachu, let's go!" said Ash.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Froakie!" shouted Froakie and Kai, stopping him.
"Pika?" asked Pikachu.
"Kai? What are you doing?" asked Jordan.
"Froakie!" shouted Froakie, jumping into the air with Kai, causing the both of them to throw their Frubbles at Fletchling.
"Fletch! Fletch, Fletchling!" said Fletchling, dodging all of the Frubbles.
"Come on, Froakie!" said Ash. "We don't even have a plan. Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
"Pikachu!" shouted Pikachu. "Pika…"
"Froak!" said Froakie, telling him to wait as Kai lands on Jordan's shoulder. "Froak…"
"Fletchling, Ling, Ling!" chirped Fletchling, then makes illusions of itself.
"Its using Double Team!" said Clemont. Froakie releases a blue ball of water from its webbed hands.
"Ling, Fletchling!" said Fletchling as it exploded behind it as its beak starts to glow.
"Froakie…" shouted Froakie as Fletchling knocks it into a tree.
"Froakie!" shouted Ash, running over to catch it. "Froakie, are you okay?"
"Kie…" it said.
"Take it easy. Just let Pikachu handle this." Ash tells Froakie.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Lucar." Meeko said to Kai, knowing full well what it was going to do.
"You heard my brother, Kai." said Jordan, placing her hands on her hips. "You let Pikachu handle this one. There are plenty of other battles we can do."
"Kie." said Kai, nodding in understanding.
"Froakie!" said Froakie, not backing down as it looked directly right at Bonnie. "Froakie!"
"Wait!" said Ash as Froakie got out of his arms.
"Froak, Froak." said Froakie, then approached Fletchling again. "Froakie! Froak!"
"It's challenging Fletchling." said Jordan.
"Wait, Froakie!" Ash called out.
"Hold on…" said Clemont. "Didn't Professor Sycamore say that Froakie had a habit of ignoring its trainer when battling?"
"I'm starting to understand…." said Ash. "Stories about Froakie leaving its trainers….I get it!"
"Pika…."
"Cario…"
Up in their balloon, Team Rocket was in the sky. "Ah, my kingdom for a little bit of breakfast…" said James as he pulls himself up the side of the basket. "My departed croissant…"
"It may be a bit early for lunch, but lets bend the rules." said Meowth, holding up a picnic basket.
"Wow! I second that!" said James. Just then, the wind blows against the Team Rocket balloon, slightly tilting it to the side, causing Meowth to scream as he held the basket.
"Come back, sandwich!" shouted James as a piece of a sandwich falls out of the picnic basket and goes overboard. "Huh? Did you just see what I saw?"
"Something with a touch of white." said Jessie.
"A Pokémon, I'll bet." said Meowth.
"Wobbuffet!" added Wobbuffet, then turns around to see the Pokémon behind it. "Wob?"
The Pokémon sprays ink on Team Rocket, making them confused. "Wobuffet!" said Wobbuffet, popping up with ink on its face and arm.
"Ling!" chirped Fletchling, going in for another Peck round as it hits Froakie again.
"Froak! Froak!" Kai called out for his friend as Froakie was knocked to the ground.
"Stop, Froakie!" shouted Ash.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Just chill out!" said Ash.
"Froakie…" said Froakie.
"You're only gonna end up hurting yourself!" Ash tells it, holding it back.
"Froak, Froakie!" said Froakie.
"I know how you feel, Froakie, but you've gotta listen to me!" said Ash.
"Hey! Chill out!" shouted Jordan, grabbing Froakie and holding it up to her face. "Do you want to end up with no Frubbles around your neck? A broken webbed hand? I know that I don't want that to happen to you. So calm down and listen to Ash for once!"
"Lucar! Lucario! Cario! Cario!" Meeko said to Froakie.
"Froak?" it asked, looking up at Jordan and Meeko, seeing the angry looks on their faces then turns to Ash to see the serious look on his face.
"In this family, Pikachu and I know better than to disobey our trainers." Meeko said to Froakie.
"Pika, Pika!" Pikachu said, nodding in agreement.
"Ash! Jordan!" shouted Clemont, causing both Kanto brother and sister to look up.
"Fletchling!" screeched Fletchling, making its wings glowed and flapping them hard. "Ling, Ling, Ling, Ling!"
Everyone jumped out of the way as Fletchling's attack hits the ground. "Everybody okay?" asked Ash after hitting a tree.
"Froak?" asked Froakie.
"Pikachu? Froakie? Jordan? Meeko?" Ash asked.
"I'm okay. Lucar." said Jordan and Meeko.
"Clemont and Bonnie, are you okay too?" asked Ash.
"Yeah, Ash, we're all right!" Clemont called out.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"Hey, Froakie? Jordan and I understand." said Ash.
"We do indeed." said Jordan.
"Froak?" it asked.
"You wanted to get even with Fletchling for making Bonnie sad." said Ash.
"I didn't like seeing Bonnie sad either." said Jordan.
"Froak." Froakie said, hanging its head down.
"Is that true?" asked Bonnie. "Thank you, Froakie!
"Froa…oakie!" said Froakie, feeling embarrassed.
"Fletchling! Fletchling, Fletchling!" Fletchling said as it flew overhead.
"But you cant do that without a plan…" said Ash. "Okay, Fletchling can fly. So, first we need to figure out a way to lure it in!"
"We could always go with the Ash apple again." suggested Jordan.
"The Ash apple?" asked Clemont and Bonnie.
"We dress my brother up as an apple and have Fletchling try to eat him." said Jordan, grinning.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu, shaking his head.
"Lucar." said Meeko.
"Oh yeah, that only works with Snorlax." said Jordan. "We could always have Pikachu do it."
"Pika, Pika! Pikachu!" Pikachu said in reply, shaking his head.
"Lucario." giggled Meeko.
"Oh well. Still love you, Pikachu." said Jordan, smiling at Pikachu.
"Pika." sighed Pikachu, relieved that Jordan wasn't going to do it. Clemont smiled as he grabbed the straps of his backpack and chuckles.
"Well, you just leave it to me!" he said. "You see, the future is now, thanks to science…Clemontic Gear, on! Presenting my Flying-type Pokémon attractor machine!"
"Wow!" said Ash.
"Ooh!" said Jordan and Meeko.
"The name could use a little work." said Bonnie.
"You see, bird Pokémon have a homing instinct." Clemont begins to explain. "By using sound waves of a certain frequency, this little invention of mine can attract or repel bird Pokémon by affecting their internal compass! Watch this! Power on!"
He starts turning the machine, letting it emit a sound wave. "Fletch, Fletchling." said Fletchling, curious at what Clemont was doing.
"Its starting to work!" said Clemont.
"So cool!" said Ash. "Man, science is amazing!"
"Fletchling…." said Fletchling, yawning.
"I don't understand!" said Clemont.
"Pika? Froak? Lucar?" asked Pikachu, Froakie and Meeko.
"Pi? Lucari?"
"It makes no sense!" said Clemont.
"Uh…Clemont?" asked Ash.
"Something's staring at us!" said Bonnie.
"Yeah….and it's a Pokémon with a huge stinger at one end." said Jordan.
"Beedrill!" said Ash.
"Pika!" shouted Pikachu.
"They were attracted by it?!" exclaimed Clemont.
"Turn off the machine!" shouted Bonnie.
"Ash…." said Jordan.
"I've said it before and I'll say it again, Jordan." said Ash. "I will not let you get stung by a Beedrill. If you do, I promise to tell mom about it."
"Smart brother." said Jordan as Beedrill aimed their stingers at them as they headed towards the group, causing them to run.
"They're coming after us!" shouted Ash. "Let's go!"
"Turn it off!" said Bonnie.
"I must have picked a too low frequency when a higher frequency would have worked a whole lot better on bird Pokémon!" said Clemont. "Let's try this!"
"Stop it, Clemont!" shouted Ash. "You're making the Beedrill even angrier than before!"
"If I get stung, Ash, you'll be off the hook this time!" said Jordan.
"And Clemont will take the blame." added Meeko.
"Good to know!" said Ash.
"I'm sure I can affect the flying type Pokémon if I just crank it up full blast! Here goes!" said Clemont, going in at full blast, causing an explosion of his invention.
Smoke went through the forest, causing the horde of Beedrill to fly away and the quartet to be knocked to the ground. "That's one big explosion." said Jordan.
"Lucario." said Meeko.
"Looks like you blew it again…" said Bonnie as Ash sits up and looks at the Beedrill.
"The Beedrill are flying away!" said Ash. "We're fine now! Is everybody okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine!" said Bonnie.
"I feel okay." said Jordan.
"But why?" Clemont asked himself.
"Clemont, that was great!" said Ash. "You attracted all those Beedrill!"
"I guess I did!" said Clemont.
"Fletch, Fletchling!" said Fletchling, flying towards them. "Chling, Chling, Chling!"
"Hey, its laughing at us…" said Bonnie.
"More like taunting us by the sound of it." said Jordan.
"Fletching!" said Fletchling.
"Huh?" said Ash, then something pops into his head. "I just got an idea!"
Back in the Team Rocket balloon.
"That's a new Pokémon on me…" said Meowth. James pulls out a hologram handbook.
"In…kay." he said, reading the name.
"Huh." said Meowth and Jessie.
"No. That's its name." said James.
"Wobbuffet!"
"Whatever its name is, lets make it ours." said Meowth.
"Inkay, okay!" said Jessie.
"Then we'll just have to battle it!" said James.
"Take it away, Wobbuffet!" said Jessie, sending out Wobbuffet. Inkay sends out its ink, which had no effect.
"Wobbuff!" said Wobbuffet.
"Now that's what I call quick." said Meowth.
"All right, smarty pants…." said James, holding out a couple of sandwiches. "Feast your eyes on these!"
"Inkay, Inkay!" said Inkay, stretching out its arms and takes it from him.
"Our lunch!" shouted Jessie.
"I thought you were starving!" said Meowth.
"Inkay took the bait! Watch this!" said James, taking out a Pokéball and throws it.
"Huh?" trilled Inkay as the Pokéball hit its mark, going inside.
"We caught an Inkay!" said James.
"Oy vey, no way!" exclaimed Meowth.
"No way!" said Jessie.
"Ling!" said Fletchling, landing on a perch far away as it looks down. "Fletch, Fletch!"
"This is it." said Ash.
"The taunting will end." said Jordan.
"The perfect place to battle." said Ash. "Time to settle the score."
"Pika? Froak?" asked Pikachu and Froakie.
"Settle the score?" asked Bonnie.
"He means he's going to catch Fletchling!" said Clemont.
"You know how you don't like when Meeko or Lyra one up you?" Jordan asked Pikachu, who nodded. "This is one of those times that we Ketchums don't like being one upped."
"Yup." said Ash, then kneels down. "Together. I'm your trainer and Jordan is a trainer to your friend, right? That means its you and me!"
"Froakie." Froakie said nodding.
"Great!" said Ash. "This whole area will be the battlefield! Its full of high and low places, and with your awesome jumping skills, you'll rock!"
"Kie!" said Froakie.
"I have no idea what any of that meant…." said Bonnie.
"You will soon." said Jordan, smiling.
"Go, Froakie!" said Ash. "Jump up above Fletchling! Ready?"
"Froak, Froak, Froak, Froak…"
Froakie then starts hopping on the rocks as it head towards Fletchling. "Yes!" said Ash as Fletchling takes off. "Now jump higher!"
"Ash is taking advantage of all the different ledge heights!" said Clemont. "And combined with those amazing jumping skills, Froakie will have even more mobility!"
"Froak, Froak, Froak, Froak!"
"Fletch, Fletchling!"
"Now, use Water Pulse!" shouted Ash.
"Froakie!" shouted Froakie, creating Water Pulse with its webbed hands.
"Fletchling, Fletchling!" said Fletchling, dodging Water Pulse.
"Make it hard to fly!" said Ash.
"Froakie!" said Froakie, landing on a rock and pushes itself upward, grabbing Frubbles as it goes toward Fletchling. "Fro, Fro, Fro, Fro, Fro, Fro, Fro, Fro, Fro!"
"Fletchling!" shouted Fletchling. It flew around the corner and sees a shadow of Froakie. "Fletchling!"
Using Peck, Fletchling aims and hits a Frubble shaped Froakie. "Awesome! Lucario!" said Jordan and Meeko as Fletchling was covered in Frubbles.
"It's a decoy!" said Clemont as they ran up.
"Great, Froakie!" Ash called out. "Now…Bubble, go!"
"Kie…Fro!" said Froakie, aiming Bubble at Fletchling, causing one of the Bubbles to knock it out of the sky.
"All right, go, Pokéball!" shouted Ash, throwing a Pokéball. After hitting its mark, Fletching came back out.
"Fletchling!" shouted Fletchling.
"No, it didn't work!" cried Bonnie.
"You were so close!" said Clemont.
"I give you credit, Fletchling. You've got spunk." said Jordan.
"But not as much as you and me, though." said Meeko.
"We've got spunk and attitude." added Jordan, fist-bumping Meeko.
"Fletchling!" shouted Fletchling, using Wing Attack again.
"Its attacking!" said Ash. "Jump up and get above it again!"
Froakie dodges the attacks as it jumps higher and higher. "Water Pulse!" shouted Ash as Froakie was up above Fletching.
"Fro…Kie!" shouted Froakie, sending Water Pulse.
"Fletchling!" said a scared Fletchling as Water Pulse hits it. "Chling!"
"This time for sure!" said Ash as Fletchling falls. "Go, Pokéball!"
Once again, the Pokéball hits Fletchling and finally captures it. "Yeah! Alright!" said Ash and Jordan as the eldest Ketchum runs over.
"Froak!" said Froakie, proud to help catch a new friend.
"I caught….a Fletchling!" shouted Ash.
"Pi, Pikachu!"
"Froakie!"
"Yeah….I'm different when it comes to catching mine." Jordan pointed out to Clemont and Bonnie.
"Kie." said a tired Froakie, falling to the ground. "Froak…"
"You okay, Froakie?" asked Ash. "I caught Fletchling 'cause of you!"
"Kie." said Froakie.
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"We're proud of you." said Jordan.
"Cario, Cario." said Meeko.
"Wasn't that amazing?" asked Bonnie.
"Sure was!" said Clemont. "Froakie's jumping kept getting better! Same with your teamwork!"
"Yeah!" said Ash. "I'm starting to understand a lot about Froakie. Thanks."
"Pika, Pika!" said Pikachu.
"Froak." said Froakie, high-fiving Pikachu.
"Come on out, Fletchling!" said Ash.
"Fletchling!"
"From now on, we're gonna be good friends." Ash said. "All of us!"
"And no more taunting." Jordan said to Fletchling. "The bruise I got from the last Pokémon who taunted us, I had to give the Pika-Time out to."
"Pikachu." said Pikachu, knowing full well that being in time out was bad.
"And Fletchling, tell me if you get hungry next time, because stealing other Pokémon's food is bad!" added Bonnie.
"Fletchling!" it said, apologetically.
"Okay. You're forgiven." she tells it.
"How about an Oran Berry to celebrate our new friendship?" Clemont asked. "You too, Pikachu and Froakie."
"Froak." said Froakie, taking the two Oran Berries from Clemont and handing one to Fletchling.
"Pikachu." said Pikachu.
"Ling, Ling, Ling!"
"Pika! Froak! Fletchling!"
"Lucario!" said Meeko, picking up Fletchling and softly pet its head.
"Great! All right, lets all head to the Santalune Gym!" said Ash.
Narrator: And so, Ash has another new friend, Fletchling! Now, as Ash, Jordan, Clemont and Bonnie set their sights on Santalune City, our heroes' journey truly begins!
Jordan: And I hope that I get a new friend too.
Meeko: Lucario!
"Hello!" said Serena, opening the door to Sycamore's lab. "Is Professor Sycamore around?"
"That's me! I'm up here." said Sycamore, seeing Serena come in.
"Huh? Hello there!" said Serena. "I'm Serena."
"I'll bet you're here to become a Pokémon Trainer." Sycamore said, walking down the stairs.
"Yup! Also, Professor, I saw these two Trainers on the news." Serena said. "The report was all about how they had saved a Garchomp."
"Oh, you're talking about Ash and his little sister, Jordan?" asked Sycamore.
"Ash, Jordan….I knew it!" thought Serena
"I'm afraid that they already left." Sycamore tells Serena. "They were going to challenge the Santalune Gym, at least Ash is."
"Santalune Gym…" said Serena. "Hm…Professor? May I choose a Pokémon?"
"Of course!" said Sycamore. "And do you have any idea which Pokémon you'd like?"
"Yup!"
"All right! Everybody out!" said Sycamore.
"Chespin! Froakie! Fennekin, Fenne!"
"These are the Kalos Pokémon new trainers may choose from: Fennekin, Chespin and Froakie." said Sycamore. "Which Pokémon will you choose as your Partner?"
