Maggie’s Confession

Maggie wants to tell Dim that She and him were really childhood friends and has always liked him ever since then. but doesn’t quite know how to tell him so she tells Rosie?

It was a beautiful morning in Bug City. The sun rises over the horizon. All the Circus Bugs were sound asleep, The sun shines threw The window of Rosie , Dim and Maggie's house, Rosie was making sleeping sounds and Dim and Maggie were sound asleep making animal like sounds since Dim and Maggie are more animal like ( Since they are both Rhino Beetles)

while Dim is sleeping while nudging Maggie comfortable. While Maggie was sleeping and she feels Dim's horn gently nudging her she returns the embrace as well. Maggie was dreaming in her sleep.

- flashback begins-

It shows Young Maggie and Young Dim actually playing with each other. Where Maggie and Dim were raised before they got separated. Maggie and Dim when they were kids.

Young Maggie says!" Okay Your turn Dim!"

Young Dim says!" Huh!"

Young Maggie says!" You're it of course, we're playing tag silly."

Young Dim shyly blushed.

Young Dim says!" Ooh!"

Young Maggie giggled.

Young Dim shyly smiled.

Later when their playtime end.

Young Maggie says" I'm glad we're friends Dim!"

Young Dim says!" Dim likes you too, Maggie!"

Young Maggie smiles and kisses Young Dim on the cheek. Young Maggie giggled and Young Dim shyly giggled.

Both of Maggie's and Dim's parents called them.

- flashbacks ends—

Maggie slowly but surely opens her eyes because she had a dream, and Maggie looks at Dim. Dim is sleeping, Maggie smiles and was really wanting to tell Dim , but she wasn't sure how to tell Dim. And didn't want to wake him up. Maggie slowly got up and went over to Rosie.

Rosie was sound asleep and Maggie nudged her gently with her smooth freckled horn, Rosie can feel Maggie's freckled horn touch her. Rosie wakes up and opens her eyes.

Rosie says!" Good morning Maggie honey, Is everything okay!"

Maggie says!" Good morning Miss Rosie, I there is something I want to ask you !"

Rosie says!" Okay Maggie honey." Is something private!"

Maggie blushes, Maggie says!" Basically I had a dream it was that me and Dim are really childhood friends but I'm not sure how to tell Dim." Maggie whispers to Rosie quietly.

Rosie says!" Aww! Maggie I had no idea That You and Dim were childhood friends." Have you told Dim about it!"

Maggie shyly says!" Not quite yet ." I want to but anytime i try or want to say something to Dim, I end up getting nervous because I don't want anyone else to know besides you and Dim of course!"

Rosie says!" I understand Maggie honey!" I'll tell you what why don't you go clean up and I'll wake up Dim, do you remember what to do!"

Maggie nodded and goes into the bathroom.

While Maggie is cleaning up , Rosie gets out of bed and goes to wake up her adopted beetle (son) Dim. Dim sleeps like a Lion. Rosie smiles and thinks what Maggie told Rosie.

Rosie says!" Dim honey time to wake up!"

Rosie pets Dim on his freckled smooth horn.

Dim surely but slowly moans and wakes up and opens his eyes.

Dim Shyly says!" Good morning Mom!"

Rosie says!" Good morning Dim honey!" Maggie is in the bathroom right now." Once Maggie is done you can clean up too!"

Dim Shyly nodded in agreement.

Rosie says!" I'm gonna go get some breakfast made for us okay honey!"

Dim Shyly nodded his head.

While Rosie went to go make some breakfast for her and her adopted son's ( Beetle) girl/friend.

Moments later Maggie came out of the bathroom. All clean and beautifully. Maggie shyly smiles , Dim Shyly smiles.

Maggie says!" Good morning Dim!"

Dim Shyly says!" Morning Maggie!"

Maggie says!" How did you sleep Dim!"

Dim Shyly says!" Dim slept okay how about you Maggie!"

Maggie says!" Pretty good, however I dreamed I was kissed by a bee." Maggie came up with a slight lie, as if she wants to tell Dim. But isn't sure how Dim is going to react.

Dim Shyly chuckled characteristically.

Maggie says!" Rosie says she's making breakfast and when you're done we can have some food ."

Dim Shyly says!" Okay Maggie, Dim will clean up!"

Maggie says!" Okay Dim, do you know how to use it!"

Dim Shyly says!" Dim remembers how, Maggie!"

Dim Shyly walks into the bathroom to clean up.

Maggie smiles and blushes because she is nervous to tell Dim her true feelings for Dim.

Maggie talks to herself," Come on Margerette just tell him how you feel!"

While Dim was in the bathroom cleaning up he was feeling the same way about Maggie of course in a shy way.

Dim Shyly moaned.

Then back in the kitchen Rosie was cooking some breakfast. Rosie gets a knock on the door.

Rosie says!" Who is it?"

Manny replied," It's us Rosie my dear!"

Rosie says!" Oh Come on in, Everyone!"

The other Circus Bugs come in and they greet each other with hugs and kisses.

Gypsy say!" Sleep well Rosie dear."

Rosie says!" Yes I did how about you honeys!"

Gypsy say!" We slept good too Rosie dear."

Manny says!" Of course our little Ramona woke us up!"

Ramona making happy toddler sounds .

Rosie smiled in awwed.

The other Circus Bugs.

Molt says!" Where are Dim and Maggie, Rosie!"

Rosie says!" They're cleaning up right now I told them when they were done that breakfast will be ready!"

Heimlich says!" Oooh!" Food!" Is it candy corn !"

Everyone facepalm each other.

Francis says!" You and your stomach!"

Heimlich says!" What I can't help it!" I'm hungry!"

Slim says!" That will do Heimlich that will do!"

Tuck and Roll say!" Hey you fired!"

All the Circus bugs ( accept Dim and Maggie) moans. Who are still waiting for each other to clean up.

Rosie say!" Oh will you two shut up!"

Tuck and Roll says!" You fired ha ha!"

Rosie shook her head.

Francis rolled his eyes.

Slim says!" What are we going do with you two."

Francis says!" If we haft to listening to that word one more time." Will slap you knuckle heads flat!"

Moments later. Both of Dim and Maggie finished cleaning up and going to the kitchen to have breakfast. The other Circus Bugs greet Dim and Maggie.

The Circus Bugs says!" Good morning Dim , Maggie!"

Dim Shyly says!" Hello!"

Maggie shyly says!" Hello everyone!"

Tuck and Roll were making flirty sounds towards Dim and Maggie.

Tuck and Roll whistled and chuckled.

Maggie shyly blushed with embarrassment.

Dim Shyly growled and snarled at the annoying pill bugs( while defending Maggie.

Rosie scuttled and shook her head,

Rosie says!" Okay You two pill bugs quit mocking Dim and Maggie, they don't like that!"

Rosie picks up the pill bugs tosses them outside and she closed the door.

Slim says," Here we go again!"

Francis says!" Those little parasites are pushing our buttons."

Molt says!" Yeah especially with there pranks!"

Rosie comes to help reassure Maggie and Dim.

Rosie pets both of their smooth freckled horns gently.

Rosie says!" It's okay Dim, Maggie honeys!" They're gone don't to worry about those knuckleheads."

Dim and Maggie shyly blushed and smiles.

Rosie says!" Well breakfast is just about ready how about we eat and then go see our friends the ants!"

Manny says!" Wonderful idea Rosie my dear!"

Gypsy says!" It's been a while since we have seen King Flik and Queen Atta and Ramona's cousin Flika!"

Meanwhile As The Circus bugs were eating breakfast together and Dim shyly shares his food with Maggie , Maggie shyly blushes, Both eating the food and then nudging each other while purring like lion and lioness. The other Circus Bugs went in awwed.

Then once The Circus Bugs finished eating their food and cleaned up and then head towards ant island to see the ants.

—- later that day—

On Ant Island, King Flik , Queen Atta and The Circus Bugs were hanging out.

Queen Atta says!" So how are things going with the Circus!"

Manny says!" Pretty much the same as usual Atta my dear."

King Flik says!" I bet you guys can come up with a new act now that have Maggie now!"

Maggie shyly gulped nervously and feels shy she hides behind Dim.

King Flik in confusion.

Rosie says!" Um may take a little time for Maggie to feel adjusted will see how she feels about doing an act !"

Of course while Rosie is explaining things to King Flik and Queen Atta.

Dim Shyly reassures Maggie.

Dim Shyly says!" It's okay Maggie , Mr Ant is nice, once get to know Mr Ant."

Maggie shyly says!" Thank you for helping me Dim."

Maggie shyly returns the embrace.

Dim shy says!" You're welcome Maggie!" Dim likes helping you!"

Maggie Shyly breaths calmly.

Maggie shyly says!" Dim there something I need to ask you!"

Dim Shyly says!" Dim is listening, Maggie!"

Maggie shyly says!" Dim do you remember me!"

Dim Shyly in confusion.

Dim Shyly says!" Dim doesn't quite understand what talking about Maggie!"

Maggie shyly says!" What I mean is that we were childhood friends." I know you probably might not remember but I do, I had a flashback dream we were playing together as little kids (larvae's) and promised each other that we would be best friends." But when I went to find you the that next day you and your family were no where insight, so then a couple years back I tried to find you and did happen to come across a circus when I asked Pt .Flea if you there he told me that you just been fired along with the circus bugs at the time. And when I heard the news I couldn't bear with myself that I knew I wanted to find you again and tell you that how I'm really feeling for you Dim!" BFF!"

Dim Shyly understands and realizes too.

Dim Shyly says!" Dim understands Maggie!"

Dim dose remember You from we were kids." Dim wants to be your BFF!" Dim Shyly blushes and smiles.

Maggie shyly tears up for joy and Maggie shyly nudges Dim. Dim Shyly nudged in return and both Rhino Beetles purring showing affection for each other.

After The royal ants and the other Circus Bugs overheard and gave The Rhino Beetles their space.

Francis says!" Wow what do you know!"

Slim says!" I never knew that Dim and Maggie were childhood friends for the longest time and didn't even know!"

Heimlich tears up for joy says!" Oohh!" Thats so touching!" Dim and Maggie were childhood friends!"

Francis rolled his eyes.

Slim gives Heimlich a tissue, Heimlich blows out.

King Flik says!" That so wonderful!"

Queen Atta says!" Who ever knew that Dim and Maggie are childhood friends!"

Princess Dot says!" Aww! my protector has a girlfriend how cute!"

Rosie smiles at the moment. Because she's happy that her adopted beetle ( son) was Maggie's childhood friend, and actually likes her too. Since Maggie confessed her true feelings for Dim.

Rosie says!" Aww Dim!" Thats a good boy!"

Slim says!" Dim seem more calmer not as how he's been a few months ago."

All the Other circus bugs nodded in agreement.

Aphie barks excitedly. To get Dim and Maggie's attention.

Queen Atta and King Flik have Aphie the look.and King Flik picks up Aphie while Queen Atta was holding Flika.

Aphie stops barking.

King Flik says!" Aphie you know better."

Queen Atta says!" Remember Aphie , Dim isn't comfortable with you yet and Maggie isn't quite adjusted yet!" It will take time for them to warm up to you!"

-later that night-

As the day went by and The Circus Bugs bid the ants a Goodnight and they flew back to BugCity and when they got back, They bid each-other goodnight.

All the Circus Bugs went to bed Rosie , Dim and Maggie were the last ones to go to bed.

Rosie helps tucks in Dim and Maggie.

She kisses them on their smooth freckled horns.

Rosie says!" Goodnight Dim ! Maggie!"

Dim Shyly says!" Goodnight Mom!"

Maggie shyly says!" Goodnight, Miss Rosie!" Thank You for Letting me stay with you and Dim!"

Rosie says!" Aww Your Welcome Maggie honey!"

Rosie smiles and says!" Have a good sleep, You two love bugs!"

Dim and Maggie shyly blushed at each other and smiled.

Moments later. Rosie lulled Dim and Maggie to sleep, both Of Dim and Maggie fell fast asleep cuddled up together to stay warm. Rosie smiles and goes to sleep in her bed ( now is a hammock. Rosie closes her eyes falls fast asleep. And Dim and Maggie while sleeping soundly making animal like sounds and cuddling with each other and of course Dim sucks his thumb cutely in his sleep.

I love this new one shot fanfic I wrote this is my favorite one out of all my previous stories , of course I did liked the character interview one I wrote not to long ago I have wrote. Finally Got a flashback of when Maggie and Dim were little kids(larvae's) and confirmed they are childhood friends and now to be sweethearts.

Maggie is definitely now my female Character OC, she is the perfect mate for Dim, and is the same age as Dim, with being 17 the reason why I decided now they are 17 because they just had a birthday/ hatchday for bugs, which will be the story I'll be doing so than can understand what's going on in the A Bugs Life Universe. I hope she makes it in A Bugs Life 2 or even for A Bugs Life Mini Series for Disney Plus, She would make a great contender as a new character. Anyways Hope you liked it .
