Morgana has witnessed the unfortunate death of Ren's parents. Morgana was shocked, horrified by what just happened. Looking up he saw the killer, its face was almost unviewable as it had been covered by a white comedy mask dripping with black acid. It seemed to giggle maniacally, almost as if it took pleasure from the deed it just did. Morgana couldn't have sat back and watched as this twisted man roamed free, it needed to wake up Ren.

Rushing off as fast as his little cat legs would allow, ran into Ren's bedroom, pushing the slightly open door with his head the same way any normal cat would do. After this Morgana jumped up on Ren's bed in an attempt to wake Ren up.

"Ren you have to wake up please wake up Ren" Morgana shouted in a careless tone, bashing its head against Ren's until suddenly, he woke up.

"Morgana, what is it now? Can't you see I am trying to sleep?" Ren whined unaware of how much danger he is in right now with a tired expression on his face. "Ren, someone killed your parents, we need to get out of here before you get killed too" Morgana shouted worriedly, Ren's expression turned from an annoyed one to a scared one. They both heard the footsteps of the same man who killed his parents moving into Ren's room. Ren got up and opened the window and quickly climbed out, Morgana jumping from The Bed to out the same window Ren opened. The 2 needed to get out of there, or else they will be yet more victims of this masked man.

The 2 traveled a fair distance as they lost him, they escaped but are now in the middle of nowhere. Only for Ren to take a phone out of his pocket. "Ah of course that group chat, yeah maybe we could get a ride back to Yongen, I am sure The Chief wouldn't mind letting us stay at his place" Morgana stated happily, it's a good thing Ren always sleeps with his phone in his pocket as weird as it was to him. Except Ren was only about to begin just how bad his situation was.

Ren: Hey guys, Morgana and I might need a ride to Yongen, Long story.

Ann: We already sent Gramps over to your area, but please try to stay hidden before then don't let anyone or anything find you until Gramps shows up.

Futaba: Yeah we wouldn't want our leader Game Overring over there

Ann: This isn't the time for jokes Futaba this is a serious situation

What's going on, why are they so serious, they usually are a bit more jokey than this, though the fact that they normally are more jokey should tell them that they should be taken seriously right now. This was something both Ren and Morgana understood, they both hid in a nearby bush. They've seen several men pass by, almost as if they were part of the military, holding assault rifles and everything and a strange logo on their armor. They would have asked for their help if not for the warnings given by their friends so they just stayed hidden, not drawing any attention to themselves as they passed by.

Eventually what almost felt like several years spent in fear Ren once again received a notification on his phone.

Ryuji: Hey Gramps is there we need to know where you are so he can come to pick up you up

Ren: Yeah Morgana and I had to evacuate that area cause of a killer in some mask or something

Yuskue: I suppose that makes sense, given the current situation

Ren: What do you mean by that Yusuke?

Makoto: Don't worry about it, just tell us where you and Morgana are

Ren: We are on a road about 50 feet away from that area, there should be some bushes, sorry if this ain't a good enough description

Ryuji: Don't worry man, Gramps will be good enough

After a few minutes of this waiting eventually a police car came by, inside? A former ally of the duo Zenkichi. "Ah Ren, good to see you again, as much as I'd love to catch up we unfortunately don't have time for that, listen just get in now I'll explain on our way to Yongen. Zenkichi stated, Ren and Morgana, both jumping in the back seat of the car thankful for the rescue. So what is going on? Why are there soldiers with that weird logo roaming about? Why is there some murderer with a mask on the loose? And why are the others acting so seriously? Morgana asked, worryingly, with a look of fear in his eyes. "Eh look at what your friends messaged you, they should explain it better than what I can" There it was, a message from Futaba with the caption "Ren Morgana, saw this being spread online, it's probably gonna answer your questions" And then they saw it. An image with the same logo the duo had seen on the soldiers. Underneath it were these words.

The following is a message composed via consensus of the O5 Council.

For those who are not currently aware of our existence, we represent the organization known as the SCP Foundation.

Our previous mission centered around the containment and study of anomalous objects, entities, and other assorted phenomena. This mission was the focus of our organization for more than one hundred years.

Due to circumstances outside of our control, this directive has now changed. Our new mission will be the extermination of the human race.

There will be no further communication.

Makoto: It's truly worrying

Ryuji: Don't worry, as long as Gramps is with you you 2 have nothing to worry about

Yusuke: You sure? They do imply to be stronger than the average police officer

Ren: Eh you guys did all you can, my main question is why aren't you guys worried about yourselves?

Ann: Mainly because of this other military group, they are protecting us, once Gramps gets you 2 over they should give you the same protection.

Haru: But what if they get attacked on their way to Yongen

Makoto: We just have to hope that doesn't happen

Futaba: I have faith in Gramps, Yongen isn't that far away from Ren's hometown

Ryuji: I mean you are right

After a while, Ren and Morgana fell asleep for a few minutes until they arrived in Yongen. The 2 were woken up and greeted by Sojiro. "Good to see you again," He said to Ren before turning to Zenkichi. "Thank you for protecting them" "It's no problem" Zenkichi responded before Sojiro stated. "Listen while you were gone a group of people who call themselves The "Global Occult Coalition" came to Yongen, they seem to be against The SCP Foundation and are trying to save the world, they are protecting Yongen right now as we had been lucky to have only one of us killed in this nightmare" Ren seemed concerned by this "Who was that one person?" Ren asked. "A researcher by the name of Kuon Ichinose, luckily The GoC came just in time to prevent any more casualties but they weren't here in time to save her" Sojiro responded with a sad tone in his voice "Any way you 3 can just go upstairs, the rest of the group is waiting for you".

As the 3 of them went into the attic the rest of The Phantom Thieves were there. Ann, seeming relieved that Ren made it alive, rushed up to her and gave her a big hug almost as if she thought he was dead. "Good to have you back man, would have sucked if The Leader of The Phantom Thieves got killed before we were reunited" Ryuji stated in his upbeat as usual voice. Then a familiar voice came from a phone. "Welcome back Ren, I missed you" Could it be? Yes, it was Sophia. "How is she back? Wasn't she on Kuon's phone?" Ren asked. "Well you see after Kuon was killed the nice GoC members looked at me, I requested to be brought back here and now here I am." Responded Sophia with a bitter-sweet tone in her voice, sad to witness Kuon's death but happy to be reunited with The Phantom Thieves. "So Ren, as much as we would love to catch up I believe we have important matters in our hands" Stated Yuskue in a stern yet friendly voice acting all formal as usual.

They all sat together at The Table discussing important matters. "So here's what we know: The SCP Foundation wants to kill off all of humanity, The Global Occult Coalition are the only ones brave enough to stand up to them, Ren's parents were killed by a guy in a mask likely because of this SCP Foundation, so what do we do?" Morgana said standing on the table explaining the situation as he always did. "I am unsure if The Global Occult Coalition will win, it's nice of them to protect humanity but I have my doubts," Haru said worried, not very hopeful. But then Ren with a confident look on his face stood up from his chair and looked at everyone else.

"We're going to fight them, we are going to return as The Phantom Thieves and change The Hearts of The SCP Foundation'' Ren stated.

"Ah hell yeah, we can't let those jerks kill us off, we are going to fight them and we are gonna win" Ryuji stated showing just as much confidence as Joker.

"We have to, The Global Occult Coalition might not be enough, we have to stand up to them." Stated Ann as scared as she may be she has to do this.

"The SCP Foundation must not get away with this, we have to save the world" Stated Yuskue formally as always yet in agreement with everyone.

"I refuse to let this world fall by the hands of these bastards" Stated Makoto with an angry look of justice in her eyes.

"We won't let The World face a Game Over, we're going to beat this final boss with the power of friendship," Said Futaba, speaking like the nerd she always was.

"We must win, we must save the world," said Haru, speaking politely yet confidently.

"As humanity's companion, I must not allow humanity to die" Said Sophia, speaking like the helpful companion she is.

"As a father, I cannot let my daughter die because of these jerks. Bad enough I lost my wife. I cannot lose my daughter either." Said Zenkichi, in a protective tone thinking about his daughter.

"Then that's our unanimous decision we are going to return as The Phantom Thieves and save The World" Stated Morgana with the fire in his eyes.

"Question is, how? Without The Metaverse we can't change hearts, not like we can just enter a Palace or Jail" Morgana said confused. "I mean if Madicce can bring back The Metaverse I am sure we can too," Said Zenkichi with a hopeful expression on his face. "You're right Gramps, I guess our first place to look is Madicce, figure out the details of how they brought back The Metaverse" Morgana stated. "Question is how are we gonna get there? His car was small and I doubt all of us could fit in it" Morgana questioned. "The Phantom Mobile'' Futaba Blurted out in an excited tone. "Ah yes, of course, I am sure The Chief wouldn't mind letting us borrow it again," Morgana stated.

And this marks the very moment The Phantom Thieves make their 2nd comeback, to save the world from The SCP Foundation.
