One rainy day at Grandmum's cottage shouldn't be THAT bad. The rain gently hitting the wooden roof, the gloomy clouds above, the chill that was rare during the summer, It was practically one of the good times that it rained. For Jason and Michelle however, this was the perfect time to see who could last longer watching scary movies.

Jason shivered in anticipation while Michelle clutched her doll closer to her. Now you might be asking yourself: Why on EARTH would Jason and Michelle do this to themselves? Well, you can thank a few potshots at each other and a monster marathon showing during the week, and you've got a contest of "Who can watch scary movies and not pass out from fear".

Jason shakily looked at his sister "I-It's not too late to give up...Just say that I'm the braver sibling, and we can call it a night." he said, putting up a brave front, but secretly hoping that she would cave so that he could turn it off. Michelle glared at her brother "And be called a cowardly chicken for the rest of the summer? I-I don't think so mister!" she trembled, hoping Jason would take the bait and give up.

Thats when Grandmum came in to see the twins little 'Contest.' "Hello Children. My word, what on earth are you up to?" she asked "Jason and I bet that one of us were braver than the other. So we're trying to find out who that is with a scary movie marathon." Michelle answered. Grandmum however was a little worried "Oh Dear. Well I hope it's not TOO scary for you. After all you haven't seen this stuff before." she said.

Both Jason and Michelle looked offended at the notion "We're not scared! It's just...a little intense." Jason said. "Well I hope you'll be able to fall asleep tonight." Grandmum said, glancing at the terror filled screen. "W-We will..." the twins trembled as the music grew suspenseful, and the main characters got near a haunted looking door.

The kids waited in suspense as the heroes opened the door, to see nothing but darkness...until a terrifying monster popped up on screen, and let out a horrifying roar.

And two loud screams could that be heard from halfway around the world errupted from the kids.
