Unlike his two best friends, Angeal hadn't planned on fatherhood. He was far too concerned with training his Soldiers and Troopers. Dodging the Turks when they came asking about Genesis and what Sephiroth was up to. No, he hadn't been planning any sort of fatherhood at all. Still, when the secretary to the vice president had shown up at his door he'd blanked on how she was familiar to him. In her arms was a small, red faced bundle of noise and energy. If not for the mako glow of the baby's eyes, he'd have thought she'd made a mistake.
Her name was Glenda Fair, a career driven woman who just….
"I don't have the time. The doctors said he needed special care and I don't have the finances to support a baby like him." She was saying, "I know we weren't anything special, Angeal, but you're his father."
The most honor driven man in Soldier blanked as he was suddenly holding the baby in his arms, a small bag of the baby's essentials on the ground next to his doorway and his heart was in his throat as Glenda walked away. She paused, looked over her shoulder and whispered…
"I can't deal with him right now." The downtrodden blond stated. She ran a hand through the short locks, closed her eyes for a moment, and fled.
Watching her go, Angeal felt his pulse pick up. A Turk was standing close by watching the scene unfold. "Try it." The Soldier stated. The baby was shifted so he could grab his sword if needed, but the Turk held up his hands.
"Nah, just needed to make sure she made the surrender, yo." Reno answered. "Soldier needs to keep a better grip on their people. You're breeding like bunnies and it's making people nervous."
Angeal grimaced as the baby in the puppy onesie suddenly started crying. The turk tilted his head in the direction of Glenda. "I'll just be off then."
(Points if someone can figure out who Glenda really is.)
