Experiment Series - Genesis's Princesses

Every man knew his daughter was the perfect apple of his eye. The oldest of the pair of twins was Aerith, a little no nonsense little girl with a penchant for flowers. The younger, Tifa, was more likely to punch a boy in the nose as quickly as she was to tend to the wounds of the others. Their little group was fascinating to behold. Sephiroth had his young son, a year or so younger than the rest, with little Zack sitting right in the age bracket as the twin girls.

Angeal's ward, Zack Fair, sat high on a barrel playing the fierce dragon against the twins while little Cloud studied a map on the wall beyond the entire playdate. The girls had somehow gotten their hands on a single white materia during their games and often used it to 'summon the almighty holy' and Zack would feign his own death simply to rise back from the center of their mess and proclaim himself rightful ruler of the entire planet.

Usually, this is where Cloud would become involved somehow and either end up taking a nap or blitzing his playmates with stuffed toys. The child was only four…

"Daddy! I want lunch." Tifa suddenly yelled at the top of her lungs. Aerith might have been his first princess, but the second was definitely the one that took after him more.

Aerith paused in her pursuit of 'killing the dragon' and looked fondly at her papa. "Papa, can we have juice with it? Please?"

Dear Goddess, he'd almost forgotten. "Juice and sandwiches then." He answered, snapping his book shut as he stood from the couch. He glanced once, at the long leather red coat he'd once worn to do battle and wondered when he'd exchanged that fabric for an apron with little red dots and pink chocobos.
