Canadude2029: Walter Jones has been missing his finger since he was a kid. Now while it was mostly unnoticed on the show, in this special, it was plainly visible, so I wrote it in as a injury Zack suffered over the years.

Unknown: You'll have to wait and see, but Vera's roll in this is smaller than Sophie's.

Geovanny: I have no idea who the father is, but I know it can't be Jason, otherwise her surname would be Scott instead of Kwan.

KINGKAIJU5: I know about that, but I found that a bit disturbing. Still, I like how Zack took over Minh's care like a Godfather figure in this.

One Year Later

A whole year had past since Trini's death, and in that the Kwan house had changed, as the mailbox now said 'Kwan & Taylor', and Zack had taken over as Minh's guardian.

Outside, Minh was working out, doing Kung Fu moves.

"Yah! Yah!" she yelled. "Ah! Yah!"

She ran along a bridge, before she stopped halfway and grabbed both railings, then did a high axe kick, before she put her feet down and held her fists up. She turned around, then did a side flip to the end of the bridge, landing on her feet.

"AH!" she yelled, holding her hands like choppers.

She raised her right leg up high while bending down, before bent her knee, before kicking her leg out.

"Ah!" she yelled.

She lowered her leg, then held her arms out, doing Praying Mantis Kung Fu, which was something Trini had been teaching her before she died.

Inside the house, Zack held Trini's Power Morpher while standing by the stall with the box, the drawing and pictures, which now included two more of Trini smiling. He heard Minh's footsteps, then put the morpher in the case and sighed, before closing it up, then he peeked out into the nearby doorway, seeing Minh coming in.

"Hey." he said, as she closed the door. "You all good?"

"Sorry, Uncle Zack." Minh said, smiling as she approached him. "Time flies when I'm getting my sweat on."

"Okay." Zack said.

He walked into the kitchen as she walked around the bench and picked up the glass.

"We're meant to leave for the cemetery in ten minutes." he said, as she turned on the tap, filling the glass with water. "You should clean up, get ready. We don't wanna keep the others waiting."

He stopped on the other side of the bench as Minh drank her water, then put the glass down.

"I know." she said. "Hey, you think they've made any headway finding Robo Rita?"

"We can ask them when we see them." Zack promised.

"Okay." Minh said.

She began to walk off, but then stopped and turned to him.

"Wait, one for thing; did you get the flowers?" she asked.

"Flowers?" Zack said, quizzingly.

Minh looked annoyed, before Zack smiled and and pointed at the table, making her turn and see a bouquet of white flowers on it.

"Thanks." she said, smiling.

She turned and ran off as Zack smiled.

"I'll go take a quick shower..." she said.

"Yes." Zack said.

"...order you a world's best guardian trophy..." Minh said, stopping by the edge of the bench.

"Yes." Zack said.

"...then we can leave." Minh said.

She turned and ran off.

"Yes." Zack said glumly.

Later, Zack and Minh were both walking along a road at the cemetery, Minh holding the flowers and wearing a green dress.

"You know, Billy always gives me a hard time whenever we're late." Zack said. "Especially if Tommy's there before us."

"Guess you can't use 'But I'm a busy congressman' as an excuse anymore?" Minh joked.

Zack chuckled slightly, as he'd dropped that to take care of Minh following Trini's death.

"Sorry to mess you around." Minh said. "Today's not a day of being coming down too, you know."

"Yeah." Zack agreed.

"I can't believe it's been a whole year." Minh sighed.

"I know." Zack said, wrapping his arm around her. "It seems like yesterday."

They all kept on walking, when they heard voices up ahead.

"Dragonzord!"

"Camptosaurus!"

"Pterodactyl!"

"Triceratops!"

"Tyrannosaurus!"

Zack looked at Minh as they stopped, who looked speechless.

"Is it me or did that sound-" Minh began.

"Come on." Zack said.

He grabbed her slightly and led her towards a blue car ahead of them, making Minh drop her flowers as she did. They both stopped near the car - which was Billy's new Rad Bug - then hid behind it, seeing the other Mighty Morphin Rangers standing near Trini's grave, which was covered in flowers, staring at Robo Rita, and robot versions of Snizzard and Minotaur, who all stood by a machine. (Sophie was on Billy's left)

"Before we begin, I just wanna say - unhappy anniversary, Rangers." Robo Rita said.

"That's Robo Rita, isn't it?" Minh asked, snarling.

"An ambush." Zack said quietly, pulling her down slightly.

"How predictable of you all to get together on this special day." Robo Rita said, laughing. "And I've been so busy preparing. I even re-forged some of my old minions; Snizzard and Minotaur."

They both walked forward as the Rangers stared at them.

"Rows and rows of Human graves." Minotaur said, looking around, holding a spiked mace and a shield. "This place is beautiful."

The five Rangers got ready to fight.

"Soon, all of Earth will like this." Snizzard hissed.

"Good." Robo Rita said. "We'll start with the Rangers."

The Rangers all charged at them.

"Not if we end you first!" Billy roared.

"You're all going down!" Sophie yelled.

Kimberly sent a kick at Minotaur, who blocked it with his shield, then Jason sent one at him, but he blocked it with his mace, then tried to whack them both with it, but missed as they ducked.

Tommy tried to punch Snizzard, but he dodged and whacked Tommy's shielded shoulder with his right arm, then he tried to punch Billy, who blocked it with his hands, then he tried to punch Sophie, but missed as she ducked and rolled over.

"I gotta help my team." Zack told Minh. "But I need you to stay safe, okay?"

"But she's the one who..." Minh snarled. "We gotta take her down. I've been training for this."

"Hard no!" Zack argued, touching her shoulder. "Look, world's best guardian says 'Do not move'!"

He moved out from behind the Rad Bug, then somersaulted forward towards the battle, morphing up as he did. He dived down and kicked Minotaur's shield hard, knocking him away slightly, before he landed crouched down.

Minh watched with amazement as the Rangers kept fighting.

Zack grabbed Minotaur's mace as he tried to whack him with it, then pulled it down.

"Zack is back in black." he joked, grunting.

Minotaur pulled his mace away from Zack, when Billy came over and kicked his shield, knocking him past the grave of Harvey Gravy, who'd died the same year as Trini, as it read 'Harvey Gravy, 1952-2022'.

"What? No 'Sorry I'm late'?" Billy asked Zack.

Sophie came over to them both, when Minotaur whacked his mace at Harvey's, making them both turn and shield their visors with their forearms.

"You'll both be sorry." he said.

Sophie somersaulted forward over Billy and Zack, then kicked Minotaur's chest with both legs, knocking him back, before she back flipped onto her feet.

"OH!" Minotaur moaned.

"You do know knocking over a gravestone is bad luck, Minotaur?" Sophie mocked, pointing at him.

"AH!" Minotaur growled, charging at her.

Robo Rita stood by her machine, which had a stand for some figures on either side, and a satellite dish in the middle, with a holder instead of an point.

"None of them even complemented my fancy new machine." Robo Rita said, pressing a button on the panel, before flipping a switch.

She turned around, as Snizzard whacked Tommy's back with his arm.

"Ah!" Tommy moaned, stumbling away.

Snizzard whacked Kimberly's face as she moved to punch him, knocking her down.

"Snizzard, it's ready." he said.

Jason sent a punch at Snizzard, who dodged it, then he ducked as Snizzard tried to whack him.

"Nice moves." Snizzard sneered, blocking a punch from Jason with his arm, then dodged another, before he grabbed Jason's forearm with his hand.

"AH!" Jason gasped.

"But mine are better." Snizzard sneered.

Jason couldn't move as Snizzard sent energy into his body, paralyzing him like a statue, then Snizzard moved away from him. He shot a beam from his right hand, which turned into a bunch of snakes, which wrapped around Jason, freeing him from the frozen spell.

"AHH!" Jason yelped.

He shrunk down to toy figure size, then Snizzard caught and held him.

Tommy looked shocked by what happened to his best friend, as Zack, Sophie and Billy all wrestled with Minotaur. Snizzard turned and threw Jason towards Robo Rita, who laughed and caught it, just as the others turned to her, Billy with his arms around Minotaur, while Zack and Sophie held an arm and shoulder each.

"What the?" Billy gasped.

"Jase!" Zack gasped.

"Let him go!" Sophie roared.

Minotaur moved slightly, pulling them all with him.

"A wonderful start to my collection." Robo Rita said, turning to her machine.

She put Jason on the top shelf of the right stand, when Tommy jumped towards her.

"Time to finish you!" he said.

Robo Rita turned to him, then blocked his Dragon Dagger with her wand.

"Get her!" Minh called, as she kept watching. "Get her!"

Tommy and Robo Rita kept their dagger/wand together, before she spun around, pulling Tommy forward until he banged against the machine.

"You're the one who's finished." she sneered.

She pulled her wand away as Snizzard came up behind Tommy and grabbed him, before throwing him away.

"Uh!" Tommy moaned.

"Show him, Snizzard!" Robo Rita commanded.

Snizzard charged at Tommy, who pulled himself up from his knees, then he kicked the Dragon Dagger out of Tommy's hand, then blocked a punch from Tommy with his forearm. He then grabbed the forearm, immobilizing Tommy, then began to send energy into him like Jason.

"Gotcha." he sneered.

Kimberly kicked his arm up, knocking him back slightly, then did a sideways handspring while kicking her legs out, making him move back.

"You think you can do better..." he said, as he jumped slightly as Kimberly spun around to tackle him. "...against my new power?"

Kimberly sent a punch at him, but he blocked it with his forearm, before he grabbed hers and sent energy into her, immobilizing her.

"No chance." he smirked, moving away.

Sophie turned to them all as Zack and Billy kept fighting Minotaur, before Snizzard shot snakes from his hands at Tommy and Kimberly. They wrapped around them both, freeing them while also trapping them, then they turned into figure size like Jason, then caught them in his hands.

"Like fish in a barrel." Robo Rita said. "Bring them to me?"

"Kim! Tommy!" Sophie cried.

Snizzard turned and handed Tommy and Kimberly to Robo Rita, as Sophie turned to the others, seeing the situation was hopeless for now.

Billy and Zack both stared at Minotaur, then Zack ducked as Billy leaned back while he tried to whack them both with his mace.

"Your friends are finished!" Minotaur declared, trying to whack them again, but Billy kicked his mace away, as Zack moved under the mace and Billy's leg.

"We'll see." Zack said.

He and Billy both turned and ran over to Sophie.

"He's not kidding, guys." she said.

She turned and pointed at the machine, as Robo Rita put Tommy and Kimberly down beside Jason on the shelf.

"It's all coming together." she sneered.

On the machine, was a tube with five sections on, the bottom one lighting up as she put Kimberly down.

"Hey!" Zack called, as he, Billy and Sophie all stopped. "What kind of sick game is this?"

"Oh, it's quite fun." Robo Rita retorted, turning to them with Snizzard. "My machine is draining their energy. Soon, they'll be lifeless husks. You can join them!"

She cast a spell from her wand, which hit the ground near the three Rangers.

"AHH!" they moaned, as smoke came up in front of them.

They all went flying away towards the Rad Bug.

"AH!" Zack yelled.

"WHOA!" Sophie yelled.

They all hit the ground on their backs, as Snizzard and Minotaur both laughed and approached them all. Minh looked over the car at them all, before Sophie turned to the boys.

"Zack! Soph! Billy!" she cried.

"We can't win here." Zack realized.

"Agreed. I think it's time for a tactical retreat." Sophie suggested.

"Power down." Billy said, agreed.

They all de-morphed.

"Minh, car, now!" Zack ordered.

He, Billy and Sophie all got up and turned around, as Minh climbed into the Rad Bug's back seat, then Billy opened up the door.

"Come on, come on!" Minh said frantically.

Billy and Zack dived into the front as Sophie climbed into the back with Minh, then Billy started it up.

"You think you can just drive away?" Minotaur smirked, pointing his mace at them.

The seatbelts came on automatically.

"Cowards!" Robo Rita snarled.

Billy raced the Rad Bug away along the road, when Minotaur teleported in front of them, making him stop it.

"End of the line." Minotaur said.

Minh gasped as she heard a noise, then she and Sophie turned around to see Snizzard had teleported in behind them.

"We're trapped!" Minh gasped.

"It'll be okay, Minh." Sophie assured.

"Your move?" Minotaur dared.

Minh and Sophie turned to him.

"Go!" Zack said.

"Go, go!" Minh said.

"Billy, move!" Sophie yelled.

Billy raced the Rad Bug towards Minotaur, which soon flew up into the air, making Minotaur duck to avoid it, before he turned to it. Minh looked over the edge in shock, as Snizzard and Minotaur looked at the car.

"Well played, Cranston." Robo Rita admitted. "Fly while you can. Soon, every Power Ranger will be where I want them!"

She turned to her machine, looking at Jason, Tommy and Kimberly.

"Much like your Trini." she said, turning away.

She hit the pole of her wand into the ground, then vanished with her machine. Minotaur and Snizzard both vanished as well, leaving the flowers on Trini's grave alone, which said 'Trini Kwan, Mother to Minh, friend to all, 1977-2022'.

Later, the three Rangers and Minh were all at the Kwan/Taylor house, all standing near the front door, under the balcony.

"It all happened so fast." Zack said. "That machine that Robo Rita is building, what does it do?"

"Whatever it is, it can't be good." Sophie said. "What do you think, Billy?"

"Honestly, something that uses our power made by Rita Replusa, that's a bad mix." Billy said, as Minh approached them. "And if we don't put a stop to it, I... I don't think they're gonna make it."

"Then we gotta destroy her." Minh said.

The Rangers all turned to her.

"We?" Billy inquired.

"Yeah." Minh said.

"Look, this is Ranger business, not 'teenage girl that has homework do' business, okay." Zack said.

"Well..." Minh said, approaching them all. "She killed Mom. This is personal. And she's holding Aunt Kim, Uncle Jase and Uncle Tommy."

Zack nodded, as that was true.

"You know how hard I've trained-" Minh said.

"But you don't understand-" Zack began.

"Let me finish?" Minh snapped. "If Mom and all you could do it, so I can. This is legacy. I can help."

"Minh, Rangers don't use their power for personal gain and revenge." Sophie said sternly. "They can't let angry blind them to their goals, and that's what you are now, blinded by hatred."

Minh frowned at her, as though Sophie didn't know how she felt.

"Minh, I'm sorry, but you can't." Billy said. "You're not a Ranger, and Sophie's right, you're blinded with anger."

"Those monsters will overpower you in a second." Zack swore.

"And we can't risk losing you too." Billy said. "Look, the best thing you can do for everyone is just to stay outta trouble, and let us sort this out."

"Says the guy who caused all this!" Minh snarled.

"Minh, it's not your Uncle Billy's fault!" Sophie said sternly. "He didn't know what was gonna happen back then."

"Well, we all know that if it wasn't for him, my Mom would still be here." Minh said coldly. "Even you must know that, Auntie Soph?"

The three Rangers lowered their heads slightly.

"Oh... It stung, huh?" Minh inquired.

Billy nodded.

"Good." Minh said.

She turned and walked towards the door, then entered the house.

"Let's get to Cranston Tech." Billy said, putting his hands in his pockets. "It has the scanners we need."

"Let's go." Zack said.

"Right." Sophie said, as they all walked off.
