"So you wrere sucked in a magical portal and somehow ended up here? Damn." Ace said dumbfounded as I explained on how in Arceus's name did I ended up in this hellhole
"Alright, No more time for chit-chat let's get out of here." He said as his Larvitar lets out a determined growl
"See? Even he agrees." He said gesturing to his Larvitar as it looks at his trainer with burning determination in his eyes
Ah, the two only met for a few minutes now and they already bonded, I let loose a small smile as my Gible happily growled and the Beldum gave a little hum.
We walked across the hallway and came across the grunt that locked us up, time for sweet revenge, at the sight of us he scowled and threatened us once again
"For the last time kids, I'm on strict orders to lock you up."
Ace let's out a menacing chuckle as I gave him a sly smirk.
"You really don't have a choice right now, it's either you let us out or you'll have your sorry ass handed out to you."
The Shadow grunt scoffed as he let's out his Inkay.
"Quit fooling yourself, there nothing you two couldn't do to make me let you both out."
Ace looks at me to tell me something but he stopped himself after seeing the fire burning in my eyes, I was born ready to battle
"Looks like you know the drill, let's do it!"
The grunt isn't impressed and was instead irritated by the gesture. Oh well I have to admit we're pretty annoying.
"You two are already getting on my nerves, Inkay! Skorupi! Let's show them why you shouldn't mess with the shadows!"
He threw two pokeballs, which contained an
Inkay and a Skorupi, they looked fired up and ready, we responded by throwing out our pokemon(Except Beldum, a two on three is unfair)
"Alright Larvitar, take that skorupi down with a bite!" Ace commanded as the small reptilian pokemon bared it's fangs and sunk them on the Scorpion Pokemon's body
The Skorupi stumbled a few steps back before retaliating with a poison sting
"Alright, Gible use Metal claw on his Inkay!" I commanded
Eagerly, the tips of my Gible's (stubby) claws turned a lustrous silver and strucked the Inkay wkth it's metal ridden claws, the creature fell back a few steps and it lets out a pained sound
Gible however smiled as it's claws turned tougher and can deal more damage, thanks to it's special buff.
"Alright, Let's assist Silver and whip us up a Sandstorm!" Ace said as his Larvitar let's out a stream of sand and wind covering the entire area with dust, I had to close my eyes in order to not take damage, but my Gible has gained even more advantage due to his specific ability... Sand Veil which makes her able to evade better at a Sandstorm
If the opponent can see her
The opponents we're slowed and were taking double damage due to the sand, even the grunt was having difficulty seeing through the storm
"Damn this storm, Skorupi lauch em with another poison sting, and Inkay try to lower their Defenses by using leer!" He ordered in the midst of the storm
The Skorupi blindly shot out a small poisonous projectile blindly in the midst of the storm, but the two pseudo legends we're unfazed and strucked the two with their strongest attacks and eventually downing the two dark types.
"Damn it! I'm out of pokemon!" The grunt scowled
Ace looked at me and gave me a victorious grin as he held out his fist in a fist bump, this used to be difficult for me as a novice trainer with zero knowledge about training pokemon but this is now as easy as breathing, heck! I even fought 3 mythical pokemon back to back.
"Alright, you make a pretty good trainer, here I have some Items go heal your pokemon." He said as he handed me a potion and a few ethers.
He walked infront of the guard with his Larvitar out and ordered him to give the man a bite as he was forced to let us out, typical violent Ace.
"After we get out of here, we're gonna battle later you've impressed me with your battling skills."
As you should, you have been graced by the presence if a pokemon prodigy, he also told me not to tire myslef too much.
And he even proceeds to beat the ever living shit out of every shadows, damn he didn't even leave some for me -3-
And so I walked the hallway of defeated Shadow Grunts withering in defeat as Ace mercilessly defeated them without giving them a chance
Before I exited, I heard Marlon and Zeph talking something about Shadow warriors and Fey, I didn't pay mind since I already know their motives
I won't spoil everything at once so let's just move on
I exited, and the door dropped down amd shut the entrance of the base tightly, making sure no more idiots will attempt to get in.
Ofcourse, I'm one of those idiots.
I saw him alongside Professor Log or how Ace would call him 'Old man' which was pretty amusing for me
"Hey you made it out! Good job." I smiled awkwardly as I walked towards them, Professor seems to looks slightly worried but was eased nonetheless
"So you probably haven't met Old man Log, he seems to be a professional at pokemon stats or something." Ace said with boredom in his tone, I had to stifle a laugh due to Log's face.
"I just filled him on what just happened
Log cleared his throat as our attention shifted towards the old man- I mean Professor.
"Yes it's true that I know various aspects on pokemon stats and capture rates..." He then glared at Ace who didn't look worried in the slightest
"And my title is 'Professor' not Old man!" He angrily shouted, well he's a bit old tho
"Anyways, I'm relieved to see you two out of harm." His eyes then moved towards our pokeballs in my belt and the Beldum hovering around me.
"And you to even to acquire rare pokemon, last time I checked these are rare pokemon that can hardly be seen in Borrius." He let's out a hearty laugh as Ace just scoffed
"I was planning on giving Ace his own pokemon someday but now I don't have too."
Ace growled as he countered back.
"I've been here for a week and I've got nothing!" He spat back.
The old Professor then explained that he got way to many errands to run and he's getting old to run all of them and that he's a bit to insistent on his parent's whereabouts ignoring the fact that no one has seen them in years.
"You may be my legal guardian or whatever in Borrius but you don't know crap about me, I can fend for myself I'm strong enough!"
He faced me with burning determination in his eyes, his eyes scream battle and as a avid pokemon trainer(well in the future) I had to accept his challenge
"Come on Silver, I owed you a battle before and let me show you how a real trainer does it!"
I stifled my laughter as I commented back.
"Says the person who just have theirs."
"Yeah, yeah stop your yapping and start battling!"
He threw his ball revealing his Larvitar ready for battle, and I threw mine showing my Gible standing proudly as it lets out a loud confident growl as it entered.
"Alright Gible let's start with a sand attack!" I ordered, I originally planned on starting offensively but I couldn't risk everything considering I only have one pokemon.
Without counting Beldum Ofcourse, I smirked as Gible threw a handful of dirt on Larvitar's eyes and it growled in discomfort
Ace tensed up and growled and order him to doa bite attack, his vision still blurry from the blinding dust missed my Gible completely as he retaliated with a metal claw attack.
It was a super effective move that was strong against rock types and a move Gible can learn at a conveniently early level.
The Larvitar growled in pain and it turned around at Ace who spoke in a reassuring tone that he could win that gave the Larvitar the strength it needed to continue.
"Larvitar launch her with another bite attack!"
This time it hit, I frowned as Gible pried off the Larvitar and shook herself and faced me with a grin.
My frown vanished as it was replaced by asmall smile and ordered her one more metal claw as Ace ordered a rock blast attack.
Larvitar launched a large hunk of rock in the air landing on top of my Gible but she went through it and slashed Ace's Larvitar with his metal ridden claws making the Larvitar fall down rendering it unable to battle.
"I..I Lost!?"
"That's enough, the Victor is Silver." Log announced as my Gible jumped up and down happily despite being exhausted, she ran at me and gave me a tight squeeze as i scratched the top of her head.
"Good girl, Gible!" I said as the she gave me a affectionate nuzzle.
"That was an outstanding battle, very enthralling if i say so."
Ace grumbled angrily looking very impatient and unimpressed.
"Yeah yeah, no one cares now tell us how strong it made our pokemon." He demanded as Log looked at the two critters
"Hmm, well they do seem to have nice stats and has some potential to become strong pokemon someday."
He rolled his eyes but seemed content with his answer, and so without further delay he bid me farewell and will seek a rematch next time we meet.
I waved him goodbye as Professor seems to be grumbling about who is going to run his errands, his eyes soon fixated on me as he gave me a sly grin.
"Ah, yes Silver you seem capable you should help me run my errands." He said with a victorious smirk, as I sweatdropped.. Oh boy here we go again.
