Lloyd Irving felt a lot of different emotions right at this moment, none of them more palpable than the embarrassment that made him want to crawl under a rock and pray to whatever spirit was out there to show him a modicum of mercy.

The eyes of his companions, the disappointment and disapproval of his best friend Genis, the stoic judgment of Regal, and the amused smirk of Zelos made his skin crawl. Half because he honestly didn't think he deserved it and partly because the only thing that separated Lloyd's bare body from their judgment was the silk sheet wrapped around it.

In retrospect, being naked while his friends judged him was a totally different experience from when they usually did it.

At least he could distract them long enough for Collete to calm herself down.

The chosen of Sylvarant and his childhood friend was under the covers, the bed sheet acting like the last line of defense for the young woman from enough embarrassment to kill her where she stood. If Lloyd had to serve as a wall to protect his girlfriend from the brunt of their comrades' prying and judgy eyes, then dammit, that's what Lloyd would do.

He sat silently on the bed, the silk sheets of one of Zelos guest rooms brushing against his bare skin as he tried desperately to make himself look smaller than he was. His face was flushed with embarrassment and barely held in regret as he watched the faces of three of his traveling companions judge him as he sat on the king-size bed in the ornate bed chamber.

He usually could stand having his friends look at him like an idiot. He wasn't the sharpest chisel in the toolbox. After all, that was the territory of his buddy Genis. He wasn't used to having his friends look at him like he was some jerk. Regal and Genis seemed somewhat disappointed as they looked at him as he squirmed on the bed, his exposed chest heaving as he registered the hurt in his young friends' eyes.

Regal stared down at him like a disapproving father, his eyes looking exactly like Dirk's eyes whenever he brought home one of his many lackluster test results. The term "I'm not mad at you. I'm just disappointed in your choices" seemed to play in his head repeatedly.

But Regals' silent disappointment didn't hold a candle to the white-hot rage of his best friend Genis, the short half-elf mage looking like he might burst a blood vessel if the way his forehead twitched was any indication. He remembered his father teaching him about Volcanoes and how when a dwarf was educated enough, they could tell whenever one was close to eruption. Of the seventeen ways his adoptive father taught him, Genis fit thirteen of them, which couldn't be a good sign.

Zelos, on the other hand...

"Well, well, well..." the red-headed chosen said, the smirk on his face almost devilish as he looked at the unfolding scene with the excitement of someone who had been proved correct."What do we have here?"

Lloyd blushed harder, sitting up straighter than before to make himself look taller than he felt. Then, while the youngest and oldest men looked at him with disappointment, the redhead looked at him with the all-knowing smirk of a cat who not only ate a canary but had finalized its master plan to put the blame all on the unsuspecting pet dog.

Lloyd had seen that particular smirk on the young man's face before. However, it felt different now that his friend looked at him like that. He knew he especially didn't like it directed at Collette, but punching the lights out of the only guy in the room who seemed to be on Lloyds' side was not the best thing to do right now.

"Nothing!" Lloyd said, trying to remain calm for Collettes' sake at the very least." Just spending some alone time with Collette..."

He felt the blonde stiffen under the covers, her silent prayers stopping the moment she heard her own name spoken by her boyfriend. Her long blonde curls ascended from beneath the rich gold and crimson sheets of the impregnable fortress she used to keep the horrors of the outside world away from her. However, the clouds that affected her thinking evaporated when she heard Lloyd say her name.

For a moment, the blonde Chosen smile seemed to evaporate the tension in the room. The good-natured Collette always made any situation brighter through sheer force of will. But it was only for a moment, as the glares of Regal and Genis returned that much more potent than before, to the point where the living embodiment of sunshine Lloyd was in bed with shrunk backward, Lloyd shifting forward in an attempt to be the girl's shield once more.

"I dont see why you guys are acting like this," Zelos said, surprisingly becoming the voice of reason over the situation." The heart wants what the heart wants, after all. I'm surprised this was the first time we caught the two love birds. I knew the second I saw these two that they were fucking."

Collette let out an audible "eep" as she scurried back under the rich comforter of the bed, the ornate blanket and pillow fort raising back up its walls to the outside world.

It was amazing how a single word could affect Collete in such a way, considering what she was about to partake when their companions demanded entry into the room.

"That not I'm upset about!" Genis said, crossing his arms against his chest, his body mirroring the stance of the oldest and largest person in the room. "I've been waiting for Llyod to stop being an idiot and confess to Collette since I was ten."

"Hey!" Lloyd shouted back. Why was it always his intelligence people made fun of him? There were many reasons to make fun of him that had nothing to do with his intelligence!

...Wait.

"I am mad because Collete isn't the girl I saw Lloyd last night!" Genis spoke, something in his voice enough to make the twin swordsmen in the room take an intake of breath. It wasn't the anger in his best friend's voice that made Lloyd gulp, but the disappointment that made Lloyd want to crawl under the bed and hide like a little kid during a thunderstorm.

"What!?" Zelos shouted, surprise forcing him to shoot forward from the ruby red leather sofa he had been lounging on as Genis and Regal interrogated their party's "Unofficial" leader."Are you serious!?"

"Indeed. "Regal said, his deep voice like the grinding of a stone. His broad shoulders and thick arms were rigid as he looked at Lloyd like Dirk had done many times. "It certainly isn't the young woman I saw you with late yesterday afternoon."

Lloyd sank low into the bed, the total weight of now three disappointed men staring down at him with contempt as the fidgeting form of Collette stopped, frozen where she sat under the covers, the implication in the air making Lloyd feel like he was waiting for a guillotine be risen over his head.

He and Collette ...well, it was always a forgone conclusion in the eyes of most people in their lives, Collettes grandmother Fenis and his father Dirk being the couple's most ardent supporters. But if you had asked Lloyd what he thought before the journey of regeneration had started, he would have stuttered out an embarrassing response regarding how he and the chosen were just friends and that the idea of a potential relationship was not in the cards for the self-taught swordsman.

He was a motherless orphan raised in the woods. She was the chosen of regeneration, a literal angel in all ways that mattered, and someone with the goddess's blood running through her veins.

Why the hell would she be interested in a guy like him?

But life was weird in how it chose to unfold for Lloyd Irving, which was why he found himself when he found himself right now.

"Yeah!" Genis added, the small magic user working himself into a head of steam as Lloyd felt his words choke in his throat. So they thought he was two-timing Collette? Was that what this was all about? "How could you do that to Sheena!?"

The room dynamic shifted, Genis's accusation more than enough to take the air out Lloyds sail like he was back during their school classes. Whatever humor and mischievous pride Zelos wore on his face was gone, replaced with almost a look of betrayal, and was that disappointment?

A combination of emotions actually made the twin swordsman feel a bit off about the whole situation.

"You!?" Zelos spat out, his face red with annoyance and embarrassment as he stepped forward to the bed, his body language far more threatening than it was a moment ago." How could you double-time Sheena like that?!"

"You guys dont understand!" Lloyd said, sounding like a child trying to talk himself out of being grounded by his parents." This is nothing more than a big misunderstanding!"

"What the misunderstanding!?" Genis shouted, sounding hurt that Lloyd had been doing whatever he was doing with Sheena and Colette behind the other girls' backs. "I know what I saw, and I saw you two yesterday afternoon kissing and stuff."

"And stuff!" Zelos shouted again, this time louder than he was before. "Did you hear that, Regal!? He was doing Stuff! With Sheena!"

"I know I was here when Genis said it." the older man responded, not looking as angry as he was before the bombshell Genis dropped. Instead, looking far more subdued and confused now instead of mad." Are you sure you saw Lloyd and Sheena together?"

"Well...of course I'm sure!" the young half-elf said, his face flushed with crimson as she remembered exactly when and how he saw his best friend and their group's beautiful ninja assassin." You really can't forget something like that..."

"And what were they doing exactly?" the redhead whispered to the young half-elf, his curiosity momentarily getting the better of his anger. "don't be afraid to use big and exciting words. I think we all deserve the truth..."

Lloyd blushed harder, remembering exactly what he was doing when he thought he noticed Genis. Although he felt he just imagined this because of his paranoia regarding the situation, the woman in his arms pulling him back into her lips wasn't helping either. Still, looking back on it, they should have paid closer attention to what they were doing and, more importantly, where they were doing it.

"No, no, no!" Collette said, finally standing up on the bed, the silk sheets she used to hide her naked body framing her like the wings of an angel." you don't understand! Lloyd wasn't going behind either of our backs!"

"Collette, I know what I saw," Genis responded, looking extremely upset at being the person who effectively had to be the bearer of bad news and effectively break the heart of the blonde chosen because of Lloyd's terrible life choices. "I'm sorry I have to do this, but..."

Genis was doing what he thought was right, which saved the small boy from facing the bubbling frustration underneath Lloyds' skin. Still, it was clear to him that this situation was about to turn sideways. So he needed to devise a way to get them all out quickly!

"Listen, guys, I know what this looks like."Lloyd said, standing up from the bed and holding the sheets to his skin for dear life." But you must trust me when I say this is a big misunderstanding!"

The men said nothing, their eyes unconvinced as Lloyd began the herculean feat to escape this awkward situation with his sanity, dignity, and secret intact.

Thankfully for the first two, and unfortunately for the third, he was thrown a lifeline.

"Well, the cat's out of the bag," a voice rang out, surprising all three of Lloyd's critics and almost causing Zelos to fall over as he looked to find where the voice was coming from."We may come out now that we're caught.

A portion of the wall near the balcony door peeled, and Sheenas' head peeked over what the assembled men of their party now realized was a fake wall. Her dark hair was not in its usual style, looking far more disheveled and wild than the men were accustomed to seeing her.

Almost as if she had been doing something rather...oh...oh no...

That was the prevailing thought of Genis, Regal, and especially Zelos as they watched a puff of smoke appear where Sheenas' false wall once was, revealing the group's Summoner in what looked to be a set of traditional Mizuho sleepwear.

Somewhat more revealing sleepwear than Genis was used to seeing as he blushed and looked away from the older woman, embarrassment tinging each of his movements. Regal turned away, giving the woman the privacy she needed to cut across the room and join her two apparent lovers on the bed.

On the other hand, Zelos acted like Zelos would in any similar situation he would find himself in. His eyes never left the woman's soft curves, long, flawless stocking-clad legs, or her soft succulent, and massive chest as they moved with each breath the acrobatic ninja made.

In retrospect, Lloyd should have figured the young aristocrats' attention would be on the form of his companion instead of him the moment she revealed herself. But, honestly, Llyod couldn't blame him. He could barely keep his eyes off the woman as well.

Sheena Fujibayashi was, too honest, one of the most breathtaking-looking women Lloyd had ever seen in his life,

"Keep your eyes where I can see them, Zelos," the surprise of the situation didn't distract from the annoyance in Sheena's voice, the Summoner glaring at the three interlopers with the irritation and embarrassment of an older sibling being caught by her annoying younger siblings." And wipe that smirk off your face!"

Lloyd placed a hand on the ninja's shoulder, the death grips she held the silk sheets against her chest, relaxing the moment she felt her lover's touch. For a moment, Sheena forgot the audience, either ogling her like Zelos or glaring a hole into her boyfriend's head, like Genis and Regal, as she melted into Llyods rough and calloused hand.

"It's okay, Sheena." Collete said, her soft voice reassuring her traveling companion slash lover, "They were going to find out eventually."

Genis turned an impressive shade of red, somewhere between the color of Llyods favorite tunic and a brightened strawberry. He looked as if he had been told the sun was now the moon, up was now down, and that his sister had learned to cook a decent meal. Like the world around him didn't make sense anymore.

Zelos actually looked a little proud. Don't get him wrong, shock and confusion were there, but Lloyd had always been pretty good at reading the red-headed chosen. Eyes wide and mouth agape, the tall man needed to hold onto the room's ornate fireplace to keep himself from falling on his backside in shock, but it was the awe that Lloyd really noticed. Like Zelos had a religious experience right before Lloyds' very eyes.

Regal still looked confused, but how he stared at the bed instead of the bed's inhabitants made Lloyd want to change the topic and run for the hills.

If Genis had been mad before...

"IS SOMEONE GOING TO EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT IS GOING ON!?"Genis shouted, confusion overriding his embarrassment as he saw the scene unfolding. Was this type of thing even allowed?" BUT YOU? AND YOU? AND ALSO YOU?! THIS IS ALL TOO MUCH FOR ME TO HANDLE RIGHT NOW!"

"Well..."Lloyd said as he wrapped each of his arms around the waists of both women on the bed with him, pulling the two beauties closer to him as he tried to find the right words to seemingly make the world make sense again"...surprise?"

Collete kissed him on the cheek with a beaming smile as Sheena curled into the side of him, placing her head in the crock of his neck, half as a show of affection and half because she wanted to use him as a shield to stop Zelos from checking her out.

Which Zelos really should stop doing if he valued his ability to walk.

"How long?" Regal said, far too used to being the adult in the room and had quickly gotten over his initial shock, effectively taking control of the conversation with little struggle." Has this been going on?"

"Since right after we arrived in Tethe'alla," the blonde chosen answered. It seemed Colletes' desire to please people was more significant than her embarrassment." After I regained the ability to speak and feel with the help from Lloyds' birthday present, I didn't want to risk not telling Lloyd how I felt about him again, and so..."

The blonde raised her hands to her face to hide the scarlet blaze on her cheeks, the memory of how "forward" she had been to Lloyd the night they shared their first night together under the stars of the southern forests of Tethe'alla. What would her father think? Giving herself to a boy before she was a married woman? What would the village think?

What would her grandmother think?!

"Calm down, girl," The team ninja and Summoner said, gently grabbing the now-floating tiny angel by her foot and pulling her back down. Sheena had always seemed like the older sister Collete never had but always wanted, a title she still held despite dating the same guy, apparently." Let's not hit the ceiling so early in the morning."

"And what about you, Sheena?"Zelos said, trying his hardest to keep his eyes on Sheenas' eyes, which he was doing very well. Thank you very much." So you got an equally sappy story about how you started dating leader boy?"

"Not exactly," Sheena said sheepishly, raising her hand to her face like Collete did. But instead of hiding her blush, she did so to show off her long and smooth fingers or, more importantly, the diamond engagement ring she wore on her ring finger." And he's isn't exactly my boyfriend either."

And then shit hit the fan.

It wasn't an inappropriate response to finding out that two of your closest companions were in a secret relationship, especially when more than two people were in said intimate relationship. But to find out that there was an engagement on top of that?

"When?" Regal asked, his fingers rubbing the corners of his eyes as he willed the encroaching headache away through sheer will and experience.

"How?" Genis asked, his anger and confusion morphing into a bit of reverence as if Lloyd had somehow placed the moon in its orbit and hung the stars in the sky.

"Why!?" Zelos asked desperately, almost sounding offended at the aspect of the one woman he failed to get interested in him, who had not only fallen for another man right under his nose but was now engaged to him. A woman as fine as Sheena forever lost to his flirting because of the bro code? Was there any form of justice left in the world?

"I'll answer your questions in order. Right after I made the summoning pact with Volt." the ninja responded to the massive form of the ex-industrialist and current convict. The memory of going to Lloyd as the rest of their traveling party celebrated their victory against the summoning spirit of thunder with the citizens of Miziho as clear as a spring sky.

She remembered how frightened and worried she was, but the voice of Corine allowed her to push through her insecurities and fears.

She remembered the first time they slept together, how he held her tightly in his muscled arms, and how safe she felt in his arms.

Sheena then shifted her attention to the youngest person in the room, trying hard to come up with an answer that didn't go too far into detail regarding her feelings for Lloyd. It was super embarrassing, after all.

"I went to him and told him how I felt about him. " the ninja said with a smile as she enveloped her thin fingers over her lover's fist, smiling as she did so." It was my decision and one I dont regret doing."

Sheena certainly didn't regret the other things they did or the times they did it.

She closed the distance between her and her fiance, capturing his lips in a kiss that would have left his knees weak if he had stood up before turning to look at Zelos with a smirk gracing her now-flushed features.

"I'm happy, and that should be enough."

The room stilled again, but for the first time in the day, it wasn't from disbelief or shock, nor was it the calm before the storm that Genis's exploding anger would have created whenever he snapped.

"Well, there we go, guys," Zelos said, rubbing his palms together as if he was washing his hands of the whole thing. "I'm pretty sure we're all ruining the magic here for our dear not-so-little Lloyd, and I think these sweet little hunnies would appreciate some privacy."

His friends were clearly in love, and despite his organs feeling like they were being tied in knots the more he stared at the three. He knew better than anyone else that the heart wanted what the heart wanted. Besides, the bro code clearly stated that every bro should never stand between a bud and two smoking hot hunnies willing to share him.

The bro code was what made men different from animals, after all.

"But why did Sheena hide?" Genis said, choosing not to look at his three friends on the bed and instead to stare at a...particularly interesting-looking corner on the opposite side of the room to avoid further embarrassment." If you were all in a relationship together, then why..."

"I didn't want to hide, but Collete was convinced that you guys only saw her and Lloyd enter the bedroom last night," Sheena responded, the blush on her face returning full force at the mention of last night's activities. "She figured if only one of us would get caught, it might as well be her."

"Last night..." Zelos said, his face impassive as the implication of what happened under his very nose in his home. Feeling the desire to shake Lloyds hand or punch him in the face equally." You guys slept together last night?"

"I highly doubt there was much sleeping," Regal responded, his tone of voice making it difficult to know his thoughts.

"I'm really sorry, guys," Genis stuttered. His anger was gone and replaced with an embarrassment that few could match. "I shouldn't have said what I said to you guys like that."

Oh, what a fool he had been! Make himself look like a complete buffoon to his oldest and newest friends! He was just glad his sister didn't see him like this. Genis wouldn't be able to look at Raine in the face if she knew how he acted on a false hypothesis built on insufficient evidence.

"Don't worry about it, you dork," Lloyd said with a smile. In all truth of the matter, he couldn't stay mad at Genis. The magic user was doing what he did only because he assumed Lloyd was acting like Zelos, which in Lloyds' opinion, was a good reason for the younger teen to be mad at him. "Just learn to knock..."

Regel said nothing, which should have made Lloyd feel better, considering the large man wasn't yelling anymore. But the way the older man stared at what looked like a slender elven hand underneath the bed...

"Genis, why don't you go into the other room for a moment." He knew. "I need to have an adult conversation with Lloyd."

Oh no...

Lloyds eyes went wide, and he took an intake of breath, the two girls he was in bed with having similar looks on their faces as their hands clasped his own for support. They all knew what was about to happen, and like a herd of deer left entranced by the flames of a fire pit, they were powerless to try and stop the inevitable.

All they could wish for was mercy.

"I'm not a kid, you know!" Genis said, a blush on his face as he backed out of the room. Usually, he'd get upset about any one of the group treating him like that, like he was nothing but the little brother of the team and they were all his babysitters.

Besides, his older sister had already given him this lesson in all its disgusting, hormonal, and poorly explained glory, which was why he was leaving. There was no way he would sit through the talk one more time than he had already.

"You're just lucky that I have places to be right now," Genis said, his hand on the door handle as he looked at his friends again. "Sorry about all this! I'll make it up to you tonight for dinner! I promise!"

Silence ruled the room once more. The only sound one could hear in the Wilder Mansion was the sound of Genis's receding footsteps and what had to have been Lloyd's heartbeat. Regal said nothing, ignoring the pointed look Zelos was giving him and the uncomfortable looks on the faces of Lloyd, Collete, and Sheena, like the three lovers were waiting for the inevitable.

"Come on, Regal."Zelos said, trying in vain to stop whatever "Adult conversation" the larger man was revving himself up to speak. By the goddess, the chosen of Tethe'alla was already feeling the tidal wave of secondhand embarrassment at the thought." Whatever you're going to tell them..."

"He's gone now," Regal said when he finally heard Geniss' footsteps leave his earshot, the muscular man looking directly at the corner of the enormous king-size bed. "You can come out now, professor."

...oh crap...

It was the prevailing thought in the room as Regal stared at the spot of the bed where Professor Raine, their group's resident healer, scholar, and Genis's older sister were hiding under.

"I would highly recommend I do not do that." The half-elf archeologist said, her voice strained with discomfort at being discovered and embarrassment. "Considering my state of undress, that would be greatly inappropriate..."

"I see." Regal said as he took comfort in being found correct."Then perhaps Zelos and I should take our leave..."

"Hold on a second!"Zelos said, raising his voice slightly to emphasize his point." I'm not going anywhere until someone explains what's going on!"

The ex-president and the bed's occupants stared at the redhead with visible confusion etched on their faces. Even Raine, whose entire face was shrouded in the darkness under the bed, looked upon the aristocrat like a long-suffering teacher who had failed at her job.

"Raine is clearly in a relationship with Lloyd, Sheena, and Collett."Regal responded, momentarily wondering if the mornings' events had fried the above-average intellect of the chosen." It should be evident at this point."

"How could you have possibly known?!" Raine shouted back, her desire to keep the status of her relationship on a need-to-know basis as well as a "keep from Genis at all cost" basis. "I'll have you know I have done my utmost best to make sure no one could possibly know!"

"I saw that you were busy giving Lloyd an extra math lesson that quickly got "Physical" once they assumed they were the only ones in the library..."

"You got it on with a gorgeous babe like Raine in a public spot!? Oh, you dog!" Zelos shouted before he slapped his hand to his mouth. No wonder Regal waited for Genis to leave before he dropped this bombshell.

"Would you keep it down!?" the voice of the eldest sage sibling said, the woman diligently moving her face out of the shadows, showing her flushed, embarrassed, but more importantly glowing features. She paused momentarily, the fear of Genis coming back in the room and seeing her like this enough to make Raine feel like dropping to her knees in prayer. " We don't need to make this into a big deal..."

"It is a big fucking deal!" Zelos said as he raised his hands up in mock exasperation. "The first foursome in this mansion's history, and I'm not even a part of it! I have forever shamed the Wilder name!"

"Oh, calm down, dumdum." Sheena said, not in the mood for yet another distraction towards her early morning activities." You're acting ridiculous."

"You're ridiculous!"

"Genis doesn't know, does he?" Regal said as he turned back around, their group's healer using the added privacy to crawl out of the confines and protection of her hiding spot, nearly jumping into the sheet and pillow fort Collete had made for herself on the bed as she did so.

Obviously not." Raine said as her eyes fell at the thought of her brother's disappointment at finding out. "You know how he would react..."

"You're sleeping with your baby brother's best friend." Zelos responded to the situation at hand, realizing that the relative peace of their traveling party was in jeopardy far more than they initially thought." You gotta tell him eventually."

"Wow! That was subtle!" Lloyd said to himself, uncomfortable at the harsh words Zelos used to describe the situation.

"Im not Sleeping with my brother's best friend!" Raine said defensively, looking like she would knock some sense into the redhead in any other situation. "My brother is just my husband's best friend! It is an entirely different situation, thank you very much!"

"..." Regel said nothing. Because, honestly, what could he say? he awoke this morning thinking that the inspiring young man he had chosen to follow into hell had been abusing the heart of one of their female traveling companions. Only to find out that said young man was in a polyamorous relationship with every woman of legal age he interacted with.

What could he say to Lloyd besides congratulations or an apology for getting his assumptions so wrong?

"...huh?" Zelos said intelligently, his mind officially gone at the sight of Raine Sage, the most intelligent person anyone in the room had ever met in their collective lives, smugly showing off a dwarven-made ring on her finger.

It wasn't the same type of engagement ring that Sheena wore, but instead, a band of pure gold with dwarven ruins etched into it. A picture-perfect model of a traditional dwarven marriage symbol.

It was almost like she was showing off.

"Real smooth, Professor..." Sheena said as she raised her palm to her temple. How she became the "matriarch" of this relationship was beyond her. Because somehow Raine, with all her education and life knowledge, actually knew less about relationships than the trained assassin who hadn't talked to a boy outside her village until she was 18 and a young man who grew up in the woods.

"They were going to find out anyway," Collete said with a smile, somehow undisturbed by the massive change in their traveling groups' dynamic in a short period. "Now we can all stop hiding!"

"Except from Genis," Raine said, her face still flushed as she corrected the young chosen.

"Except from Genis," Collete responded.

"We should tell him soon." Llyod said, rubbing his head as he tried vainly to get his silver-haired wife to be truthful to her younger brother." The longer we wait..."

"I'll tell him..."Rainse responded, shrinking further into her bed cacoon to escape the looks of her lovers. "Just not today."

"If I can just say..." Zelos tried to say but was cut off by the Professor, who looked just about at her wit's end.

" I SAID I WOULD TELL HIM!" how someone could roar words out like a beast and yet still be legally described as whispering was a difficult feat, but Raine had managed it."BUT NOT TODAY, SO PLEASE BE A DEAR AND GIVE US SOME PRIVACY FOR THE LOVE OF THE GODDESS!"

The ex-president of the Lezerano corporation and the heir of the Wilder dynasty looked at one another with looks that, to the outsider, would look like fear. It clearly wasn't; Zelos was willing to go to the grave to defend that fact. But the men decided at that moment to leave the room, anyway, for a completely different reason, the origin of such Zelos couldn't bother to make up. Because wow, Raine looked like she was going to kill one of them if they said another word, resurrect them and then murder them again if one of them brought up Genis again, while in the context of Raine getting that good-good from the best friend of said, Genis.

"So that happened, right?" Zelos said as he leaned his crimson locks against the ornate door leading into one of his mansions' many bedrooms." Because I'm sure that actually happened.

"Indeed." the former convict said, the first indication that Zelos had ever seen of the man that he could experience the emotion of fear clear as day on his face said, simply turning to leave the room with a clear conscience and lighter heart than he had when he entered." We should go and give them some privacy."

Zelos said nothing for a moment, the rooms remaining occupants actually thinking the red-headed chosen had stopped working correctly, like a hammer with a broken handle or a dull knife as if his mind had become overwhelmed with so much shock in the past few minutes that he needed a moment to reboot itself. Before he suddenly, with a beaming smile like a proud father watching his child take its first steps, saluted Lloyd and promptly left the room in silence.

"Well..." Lloyd said, a bright smile on his face as his two friends finally left him alone with the three women in his life. "That went better than I expected."
