Hawkeye, also known as Clint Barton, had just run out of arrows during the battle against the chitauri. He quickly realized that he needed to restock his arsenal, so he headed to the nearest sports shop.
As he entered the store, he was greeted by the sight of rows upon rows of different types of arrows. Some were made of wood, while others were made of metal. Some were designed for piercing armor, while others were designed for explosive impact.
Hawkeye approached the sales clerk, who looked up at him with surprise. "Can I help you find anything?" the clerk asked.
Hawkeye nodded. "I need some arrows," he said. "Something that can pack a punch."
The clerk wearing a green hood with face paint nodded knowingly and led Hawkeye to a section of the store where the more high-powered arrows were kept. Hawkeye browsed through the selection, carefully examining each arrow to make sure it was the right fit for his bow.
After a few minutes of deliberation, Hawkeye settled on a set of arrows that he felt would be perfect for his needs. He paid for them (Tony's card) and quickly made his way back to the battle, eager to try out his new he took aim with his bow and fired the first arrow, he knew that he had made the right choice. The arrow hit the alien with incredible force, knocking it back several feet.
Hawkeye couldn't help but grin as he fired off arrow after arrow, each one hitting its mark with deadly accuracy. He picked up another one with a green glowing tip and shot it thinking it would explode but nothing happened. Hawkeye frowned but he quickly pushed that thought away. While that was a dud, most of the other arrows were performing exceptionally well. (elsewhere the man of steel was nearly killed due to the kryptonite)
In the end, the battle was won, thanks in part to Hawkeye's quick thinking and his new set of arrows. As he walked away from the battlefield, he couldn't help but feel grateful for the sports shop that had helped him stock up on the tools he needed to protect the world. They have got themselves a good customer.
