Welcome, welcome one and all to my 15th Skyrim build, this is your humble host King here and I'm here to present to you a build that is very versatile, very strong and very, VERY fun to play as, last time we had four builds who's backstories and roleplay fit together into the "Court of the High king" and they were all well and good but today I'm bringing you what has becomes a personal favorite of mine

This build was inspired by "The Witcher", "Assassin's creed" and the "Batman Arkham" game series, I just love the sheer versatility is these games and that's the name of the game when it comes to THIS character build, versatility

Today I give to all my fellow Dragonborn's out there

"The slayer"

Enjoy

Description:

The Khajiit known as "The slayer" is a swift and efficient vigilante who not only hunts down the darker and evil forces of the world and eradicates them but also deals out his own version of justice to all those who have harmed or exploited the innocent no matter the personal cost to himself or being labeled as a killer by society, a highly trained warrior, deadeye archer, tactical master and poison brewing genius, the slayer is on a never-ending mission to purge this world of both evil and injustice, using a variety of skills, weapons, spells, poisons and shouts, the slayer is the ultimate hybrid between a warrior, mage and thief and when he uses these skills in combination with each other the effects are both devastating and effective

Backstory:

The slayer was born on the road, literally, he was born under the waxing Masar moon as the only child of the leader of an abnormally large, Khajiit trading caravan, growing up he meet all kinds of people fortune tellers, sell swords, mercenaries, bounty hunters, alchemists and many more characters, he was never lacking mental or physical stimulation and growing up his parents gave him all the freedom in the world, letting him roam where he wanted to, let him do almost anything and talk to whoever he wanted to, this eventually led to the birth of a hunger inside of him, a hunger to learn things and thanks to his grandfather who happened to be the healer and alchemist of the caravan he was taken in at the age of nine and taught the ways of the world, teaching him in the ways of academia, world history, culture and religion and thanks to the slayer's boundless energy and natural curiosity, he was perfect for training in alchemy, over the years the slayer was taught by his grandfather in the arts of alchemy making potions and poisons, but through his travels and meeting other people, learning archery from Wood elves, smithing from Orcs, magic from Breton's and all kinds of skills and like a new sponge he soaked every bit of information, years went by and the slayer grows into a fine man who resembled that more of a jaguar that a cat like the other Khajiit kids he grew up around, eventually he became the leader of the caravan after his father and grandfather had passed on life was good despite being on the move a lot of times but he found great joy in freedom however fate changed for him when they were traveling through Skyrim, during the Imperial Legion Storm cloak war, the caravan would normally make a good amount of gold and goods trading with the local Nord's but when they came across a group of High elves that browsed they're goods and intended to buy a multitude of items but they only said because of their military status that they would only may half of what the whole load was worth, soon enough violence broke out in a violent way, the Thalmor's murdered the slayers caravan and his mother, leaving only the young slayer alive and was carted off to Helgen, even though he told the Imperials that the Thalmor murdered his parents, they didn't listen in the slightest, since escaping with Ralof he swore that he would end the Thalmor's hold over Skyrim and avenge those who are victims of their abuse of power

Roleplay:

For the roleplay of the slayer, if there is one word to describe the this guy it would have to be "prepared" so to roleplay this character as a jak of all trades kind of guy, approach combat by first taking to the shadows and setting up favorable conditions for battle, you can set rune traps like Poison, Paralyze or elemental damage runes in points where you can either lure enemies towards with shouts or poisons of fear or pickpocketing enemies of their weapons or reverse pickpocketing various poisons, once the countermeasures are set, you bursts forth from the shadows to pummel foes either with a wide variety of weapons at your disposal, switching between four "combat stances" as I like to call em, such as twin mace's, a two handed weapon, a shield and fist combination or peppering them from a distance with elemental bots from a crossbow, the slayer is like that of characters like Gerald of Rivia, several of the Assassin's creed protagonists and Batman, masters of combat, gadgets and tactics and is as ever changing as the wind itself, planning each attack with calculated tactics before engaging or adjusting his strategy and fighting style on the fly while in combat, the slayer comes prepared for just about anything you can imagine with the right spell, tool, potion, poison and even spider scrolls for the job making him a very powerful jack of all trades kind of character, the slayer is a chaotic good character, he may appear as merciless and vicious but that's only to people who are filled with domination and evil, while he holds a great deal of anger for the Thalmor he doesn't hate elves or any other race that isn't his own, his mother raised him better than that, it was his solemn vow to his fallen family that he would be the hand of justice and would stand up for those who could not protect themselves, he does not fight for vengeance but rather to bring justice to those who have been wronged, but a lot of people in Skyrim don't see it that way, to many he is considered nothing more than a violent vigilante who takes the law into his own hands and there are rare few who see him as a good-hearted protector of the common folk and he will not stop on this personal mission of his even if all of Skyrim sees him as nothing but a killer, that's alright with him so long as the people are safe from the dark forces both mortal and supernatural

Quest lines:

Main quest (The slayer after discovering that he is Dragonborn has somewhat of an awakening in his mind and feels the call of Akatosh the one who gifted mortals with the power of "The Thu'um" so he travels to High Hrothgar and trains under the Graybeard who remind him a lot of his grandfather and through his training discovers that he has become Dragonborn because his cause is just, he will not choose to help the Blades and spars Paarthurnax choosing the path of wisdom and not vengeance)

Dragonborn (The slayer has heard of a powerful Dragonborn other than himself and after hearing what this Miraak has planned for the world he takes up the challenge to face and defeat the first Dragonborn and save not only Solstiem but also the world, also he learns many Black book abilities and Maker stone powers which will become incredibly useful to him)

Dawnguard (The slayer heard tales of the dreaded spawns of Molag Bal, the vampires, after joining the Dawnguard and meeting Serana he sees a woman that has had her mind and soul forever scared by her terrible past and becomes sympathetic with her, eventually he helps her to turn human again, he also kills Harkon and only leaves Valerica alive after helping her return to the land of the living from the Soul Carin)

Companions (The Companions are the first faction that you are introduced to in the game and while the slayer is stunned to find out that the Companions are Werewolves and even becomes one for a while he eventually removes the curse from his blood, refusing to be the puppet to Hircine and also helps Farkas and Valkas to become human again, through the slayers prowess in battle and his bravery he will bring glory back to the name of the Companions)

College of Winterhold (The slayer learned magic from Bretons and had become interested in the likes of rune spells, he also picks up certain pieces of gear that he fins incredibly useful)

Thieves guild (The slayer cannot deny that skills taught by the Thieves guild are incredibly useful especially stealth and pickpocketing plus eventually he is given one of three very useful abilities after returning the Skeleton key to Nocturnal)

Civil war (Due to his past experience with the Thalmor then it makes perfect sense to join the Stormcloaks and fight against the Legion, hopefully that if a Khajiit shows bravery then maybe the Nords will be more opened to both him and other Khajiit caravans around Skyrim)

Daedric quests (It's up to you to choose which quests that the slayer would want to go on and which ones are no go zones for him)

Destroy the dark brotherhood (While it would make sense given the slayer's backstory to join the Dark brotherhood and stick it to the emperor himself, the Dark brotherhood is a little too evil for the slayer's taste and so they must be destroyed)

Miscellaneous quests (Any quest that has you aiding the people of Skyrim, slaying dangerous beasts and solving mysteries and uncovering what is hidden and if it poses a threat to the people of Skyrim, destroy it)

State spread and standing stone:

When leveling up with this character you would put 1 in Magicka, 3 in Health and 1 in Stamina, for the standing stone there are three that would fit this character very well, the first is the Steed stone which will reduce all weight to clothing and armor pieces you wear which is good for sneaking, second is the Serpent stone for its handy ability to paralyze and cause lingering poison damage to targets for 25 seconds once per day, the last standing stone that would fit with the slayer would be the Lady stone with its boost to Health and Stamina regeneration, either one of these three standing stones would be very beneficial to this character build

Weapons and armor:

Diadem of the Savant

Archmage robes

Heavy Stalhrim gauntlets (Fortify Restoration and Fortify Unarmed)

Heavy Stalhrim boots (Fortify Sneak and Muffle)

Silver and sapphire necklace (Fortify Alteration and Fortify Restoration)

Silver and sapphire ring (Fortify Alteration and Fortify Unarmed)

Targe of the blooded

Bloodskal blade

2 Stalhrim mace's

Enhanced Dwarven crossbow

Explosive steel bolts of fire

Explosive steel bolts of ice

Explosive steel bolts of shock

Keeping with the idea that this guy is a jack of all trades kind of character you will want both the Diadem of the Savant along with the Archmage robes, both will reduce the cost of ALL spell types when put together and with the added Magicka and Magicka regeneration bonus the robes gives you it is SO useful for a character like this, the gauntlets and ring will boost unarmed damage which will stack with the slayer's Khajiit claws boosting them to incredibly deadly levels plus the gauntlets will also reduce Alteration spell costs, the boots will give your sneaking skill a boost and are muffled, great for sneaking around and your necklace will reduce cost to Alteration and Restoration spells, for weapons when going for unarmed you will want the Targe of the blooded which will not only give you boosts in defense but also with the bash attack you can cause temporary bleeding damage with each hit, for a two handed weapon get your hands on a personal favorite of mine, the Bloodskal blade if you remember the "Iron claw" build I made a while back then you will know how much this weapon benefits a warrior build and as a jack of all trades build, we'll be getting some usage out of it, it not only looks cool but will give us another ranged option while using two handed, a WICKED energy wave attack which will be launched whenever we do power attacks and the energy wave attack can stack with the damage from power attacks with the Bloodskal blade, as for one handed weapons go, you will be dual wielding two Stalhrim mace's though you will not enchant them yes I know if you put ice enchantments on Stalhrim weapons then it makes them SO powerful but since Elemental fury doesn't work on weapons with enchantments on them we'll keep em unenchanted, mace's are powerful sure and they hit hard but they are notoriously slow, Elemental fury makes up for this but only if they aren't enchanted, finally the Enhanced Dwarven crossbow is my favorite, ranged weapon in the game and is able to ignore 25% of enemy armor and added to the fact that you can lace poisons on the crossbow, the elemental bolts will pack a much needed extra punch

Poisons and potions:

Poison of frenzy (Blisterwort + Fly Amanita)

Poison of fear (Namira's rot + Blue dartwing)

Potion of two handed and resist fire (Dragon's tongue + Fly Amanita)

Spider scrolls:

Poison cloak spiders (Albino spider pod + Emerald + Salt pile) (This is good for witling down enemies that have been weakened by elemental or poison runes)

Mind control spiders (Albino spider pod + Any soul gem) (These spiders are useful for turning the odds against you into your favor by turning enemies against each other)

Oil spiders (Albino spider pod + Dwarven oil) (These spiders when hit with an explosive bolt of fire will cause a MASSIVE explosion hitting all nearby enemies)

Skill spread: 65 Perks needed

Alchemy (Alchemist 5/5, Physician, Poisoner, Concentrated poison, Benefactor)

Alchemy, as I have said before in previous Skyrim builds that I've created, is useful for ANY build to make both useful potions and poisons and can make you a SHIT-TON of gold when sold

Archery (Overdraw 2/5, Eagle eye, Critical shot 1/3, Power shot, Steady hand 1/2, Hunter's discipline, Quick shot)

Archery is here to give us ways of not only delivering poisons to enemies at a distance but also combine them with Elemental bolts that we ourselves can forge using the Atronach forge method (If you don't know how to do that then I would suggest that you check out the YouTube channel "Skypothesis" and watch their Skyrim build "The Saxhleel Vagabond" so they can describe to you guys how to make explosive elemental bolts using the Atronach forge, you will be making so many explosive bolts that you will almost NEVER run out) so you can release explosions, explosions and MORE EXPLOSIONS

Block (Shield wall 1/5, Power bash, Deadly bash, Disarming bash)

Block is here to give us an extra means of protection and augment melee combat, normally you would use a weapon or spell in the right hand and the shield in the left hand, but here you will use a shield in the left hand and go unarmed with your right hand to cover up disadvantages for going in with only your fists swinging

Destruction (Novice Destruction, Apprentice Destruction, Adept Destruction, Destruction dual casting, Rune master)

Destruction is here to increase the range with rune spells like Paralysis, Poison and elemental runes

Enchanting (Enchanter 5/5, Insightful enchanter, Corpus Enchanter, Extra effect)

Heavy armor (Juggernaut 1/5, Fists of steel)

Heavy armor is here only to grab the Fists of steel perk making unarmed attack MUCH stronger and when combined with both the unarmed damage enchantments on your ring and gauntlets and your Khajiit claws, you'll be serving the MOTHER of knuckle sandwiches

Illusion (Novice Illusion, Animage, Kindred mage, Quiet casting)

The slayer might doesn't use any Illusion spells but we want the Quiet casting perk making all of our shouts and spells silent which of course is VERY useful for stealth characters who use magic and shouts

One handed (Armsman 1/5, Fighting stance, Bone breaker 3/3, Dual flurry)

As was said before your Stalhrim mace's won't be enchanted so you can speed up they're swinging speed with Elemental fury but with an additional boost in this thanks to the Dual flurry perk and all the perks in Bone breaker, each strike will bypass armor worn by enemies, combine that with the speed in which your swinging these two mace's and well…it'll turn even the heaviest armored warrior into a bloody pulp

Pickpocket (Light fingers 4/5, Night thief, Poisoned, Cutpurse, Misdirection)

I've said this before, unless the character was some sort of magician then the Misdirection perk isn't at all believable, but with a jack of all trades character like the slayer who CAN use magic, then it works with both roleplay and functionality, also it allows you to disarm your enemies and catch them off guard once you spring forth from the shadows and eradicate them with your arsenal

Sneak (Stealth 4/5, Muffled, Light foot)

Sneak won't be used for stealth kills or sneak archer shots, it'll be used to quietly move through the shadows and pickpocket enemies of their weapons and if necessary even poison them with the poisons of fear and frenzy

Two handed (Barbarian 1/5, Champion's stance, Deep wounds 3/3)

Since we won't be perking much into the Barbarian we will be boosting two handed with the potion of two handed and resist fire along with all three perks in Deep wounds to make up for the lack of perks

Special moves:

Rune cyclone (Cyclone + Dual cast elemental rune + Fall damage) (The slayer calls forth a cyclone to launch his enemies into the air, followed by a quick fire, frost or shock rune placed where they will land, combined with the elemental and fall damage, this satisfying move will never get old for him)

Mine field (Throw voice + Oil spiders + Crossbow bolts of fire) (First use Throw voice to lure enemies in then send out one to three Oil spiders, once they attack your spiders shoot steel bolts of fire at the spiders which if performed right will decimate all enemies around said spiders with a massive, fiery explosion)

Aetherial pulse (Nightingale strife + Soul tear) (Through his adventures in the Soul Carin, the slayer learned how to shout at the very soul of his enemy and tear them asunder and with aid from Nocturnal, he can drain health and raise enemies as his personal ally for a limited time, this wicked one-two punch combo deals over 400 points of damage and heals you in the process)

Beat em up (Marked for death + Targe of the blooded + Unarmed enchantments + Fists of steel + Claws) (With your opponent weakened by your shout and your unarmed combat enhanced with your enchantments, the Fists of steel perk and your claws along with the bleeding damage from the Targe of the blooded the slayer can DOMINATE foes even without using his more powerful weapons)

Bloodskal lasher (Potion or elixir of health regeneration + Become Ethereal + Meditate on Feim + Bloodskal blade energy wave attack) (First pop a potion or elixir of regenerate health then shout Become Ethereal with two ways to regenerate your health active you can then attack enemies using the energy wave launched from the Bloodskal blade, so long as you don't hit your intended target with the blade itself it will not break Become Ethereal and thus you have time to strike enemies while staying completely immune to attack damage while you regenerate health)

With those special moves out of the way this ends "The slayer" this was by far my FAVORITE Skyrim build that I've made to date and I don't know how I'm gonna top this one, but what do you guys think of the slayer, feel like you wanna give him a try, well if you do then let me know how it goes in the review section below, I'd love to hear about it

Also as a small side note before we close this one, if you really wanna get crazy then this build might be able to be combined with one of the past builds that I have made "The phantom" which is all about manipulating the battlefield, so if you're interested in that then try and put both builds together, feel free to toss out skills and equipment to make room for new ones, it's really up to you

Next time we'll be trying something for all those out there who have taken a liking to one of Skyrim's most famous books and one rather steamy for male Dragonborn players "The lusty Argonian maid" and this will be one of my most evil builds to date

Next time I will be presenting to all of you

"The mistress"

Until then my friends, ya'll stay safe out there, it's been a pleasure to entertain you with my ideas, hope to see you all again
