A month after Ben had arrived in town, he was at the gate saying goodbye to his family.
"Are you sure you have to leave already?" asked Bill.
"I have a long journey to the closest port town, and I want to get back to fill everyone in on the truth of what happened to you two," said Ben.
"Of course I'll leave out the new family secrets," he said.
"Do you really have to go?" asked Kelly who was standing with Jack as they both were looking up at him with a sad expression.
"Afraid that I do, but I promise to come back and see you again at some point," said Ben before hugging both kids. He then got on his horse and rode out of sight with his brother's family waving good-bye.
"The others won't believe it when I tell them about this place," thought Ben as his eyes suddenly turned a bright yellow.
"But maybe we can actually change things sooner than planned," he thought before a puff of smoke came out of nowhere and from it a dragon flew off into the sky while holding a horse in its back claws.
