Chapter 5: Personal Problems
One Day Later *
Naruto was walking along a path with everyone with a smile on his face. Naruto could see a village in the distance and around him were fields of farm land with different plants of all kinds. Naruto just looked around when he heard " It's beautiful." Naruto looked at Hinata and nodded to then think ' But not as beautiful as you.' Naruto looked away from Hinata immediately, a red tint appearing on his cheeks. Naruto quickly glanced at Hinata then thought ' Why did I think that she's my friend.' Naruto just continued walking in silence as they made their way to the village.
After ten minutes Naruto stopped just past the gate that led into the village. Naruto looked to see a young woman with long brown and blue eyes. Naruto saw the woman look at them and heard " You must be the Konoha ninja that were sent." Naruto saw Kakashi nod then heard him say as he gestured to each person " I'm Kakashi Hatake, this is Kurenai Yuhi, Hinata Hyuga, Shino Ambrama, Kiba Inuzuka with his partner Akamaru. This is Sakura Haruno, Sasuke Uchiha and Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto saw the woman nod and then heard " I'm Yunoko." Naruto gave a slight nod then heard " I'm thankful you are all here as we are having problems." Naruto saw Yunoko sigh then heard " At night we have baskets of food that go missing." Naruto nodded to hear Kakashi say " We were told that bandits have been burning your fields." Naruto saw Yunoko nod then heard " They still are but they haven't in the last couple of days." Naruto nodded to then hear Kakashi say " Kurenai after we get our rooms in the hotel, you should take your team and see if you can track down the bandits while my team set's up in the fields to watch." Naruto nodded to hear Hinata say " Actually I think I should stay." Naruto looked at Hinata as did everyone to then hear her say quietly " Just in case the bandits are planning on acting right now I could find them." Naruto nodded then said " She has a point and with my shadow clones it'll be hard for them to act or to not be captured." Naruto saw Kurenai nod then heard " Ok, I could take Sakura but once we return everyone else should spread out while Hinata and Naruto rest." Naruto heard a scoff then heard Sasuke say " What can he do at night that I can't." Naruto heard a sigh then heard Kakashi say " Kurenai has a point with Naruto's shadow clones and Hinata's eyes whoever is taking the baskets of food will be caught." Naruto nodded, then he followed Yunoko to their hotel rooms.
Thirty Minutes Later *
Naruto was looking around standing in the village's fields and had been silent for fifteen minutes when he heard " My eyes need a break." Naruto nodded, then looked over at Hinata and said " You don't use your eyes a lot, do you?" Naruto saw Hinata nod slowly then he saw her look down and heard " I should use them more often but I just like looking around normally. I know it makes me weak." Naruto just sighed then said " Hinata." Naruto saw his friend look up so he gave a small smile and said " Yes that might make you weak in power but you can still be strong. Also you pay attention to detail and in time you could see stuff even the Byukukan couldn't see." Naruto then gave a bigger smile and said " Now that will be funny." Naruto saw Hinata give a small smile and nod so he nodded himself then heard " So I was wondering if in our free time we should do a little training." Naruto nodded and said " Yea, and I've had time to think over a few things and I think I know what type of ninja I want to be." Naruto saw Hinata nod with a smile so he said " Assassination and Fuinjutsu expert." Naruto saw Hinata smile which made him think of something so he said " Also I think I got down the barrier sealing tag which I want to test in training." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he smiled then they just stood there in silence.
After a few minutes of silence Naruto turned around to hear " Hey, we're back." Naruto just gave one of his goofy smiles at Kiba then heard " Kurenai wants you two resting." Naruto nodded, then he looked past at Kiba seeing his sensei walking so he looked at Hinata and said " Hey, so some training." Naruto saw Hinata yun then gave a slight nod so he nodded then said " We'll why don't we meet at the hotel in twenty minutes." Naruto saw Hinata nod then walk off so he was about to when he felt a hand on his shoulder. Naruto looked behind him at Kiba to hear " Go easy in training. She hasn't slept in thirty hours and when she doesn't sleep she gets exhausted really fast." Naruto nodded, then he started walking as he thought ' I can understand getting tired easily if she hasn't slept in the last thirty hours but from Kiba's tone it's really bad.' Naruto just sighed, shaking his head, as he walked.
After about ten minutes Naruto was able to catch up to Kakashi. Naruto let out a breath as he started walking next to his sensei as he read his little orange book. Naruto just stayed silent trying to say what he wanted to ask when he heard " Yes?" Naruto just looked up at his sensei then said " I want your help in training." Naruto just gave one fake big smile and said with a little venom in his voice " And you don't need to keep any secrets." Naruto saw Kakashi look at him putting his book away then heard " What do you want help with?" Naruto sighed then said " Stealth, Taijutsu and Kenjutsu." Naruto nodded and said " I might be able to help you in all three but know someone that is better with Taijutsu and Kenjutsu with stealth. I can't really help you." Naruto grew angry and just nodded and then heard " But…" Naruto just interrupted Kakashi by saying " Nevermind." Naruto then started walking when he heard " Naruto wait." Naruto stopped turning around and said " Kakashi Sensei, never mind." Naruto then turned back around and said " Why am I surprised of course you would push me off to someone else." Naruto then walked away before Kakashi could speak heading to the hotel.
After only a few minutes Naruto arrived at the hotel so he headed up to the second level to Hinata's/Kurenai's/Sakura's room." Naruto knocked on the door and just waited for someone to open the door but that never happened. After about a minute Naruto grabbed the handle and twisted it and to his surprise it turned. Naruto was about to push open the door to walk in when he thought ' Wait, what if she's naked? What if she's changing or in the shower?' After a couple of minutes of thinking and against his better judgment Naruto pushed open the door. Naruto walked into the room and said " Hinata." Naruto closed the door and walked into the main area past the bathroom to find two queen size beds and a sleeping bag on the ground. Naruto saw Hinata laying on a queen size bed without her jacket which means Naruto saw Hinata wearing a mesh shirt that stopped at the end of her chest. Naruto walked over and in front of Hinata for him to blush to see the size of her cleavage. Naruto shook his head and looked at Hinata's face, the blush still on his face. Naruto saw Hinata sleeping so he put his hand on her side, about to shake her awake when his eyes widened. Naruto looked to see bruises in the shape of circles covering Hinata's side. Naruto stepped back and continued looking to see the tear marks down her cheeks and the circle bruises on her arms side and stomach. Naruto just looked for many minutes when he thought ' Her arms, back and stomach have more bruises than fresh skin.' Naruto continued staring a frown forming on his face just thinking what is going on.
Twenty Minutes Later *
Naruto was just staring at Hinata deep in thought when he heard someone say loudly " What the hell are you doing?" Naruto looked to the left at Kurenai and opened his mouth knowing Kurenai nodded to know but couldn't speak. Naruto just closed his mouth and waved Kurenai over who only looked at him with a glare. Naruto sighed then said in a whisper " You need to see this." Naruto saw Kurenai just nod and walk over so he looked back at Hinata. After a few seconds he heard Kurenai stop next to him then he heard a gasp. Naruto looked at Kurenai seeing her have her hands over her mouth and tears in her eyes. Naruto just looked back at Hinata to then hear Kurenai whisper " What, Who caused this?" Naruto just sighed again then whispered " The bruises are a couple weeks old at least." Naruto saw Kurenai look at him so he said " I know from experience." Naruto then looked back and whispered " I've heard that if Hinata doesn't sleep she gets completely exhausted really fast." Naruto saw Kurenai then heard " Yea." Naruto nodded and then heard " When she sleeps she's always holding her stomach or arms." Naruto nodded and said " I'm surprised she's sleeping, she is in a lot of pain." Naruto then continued looking in silence when his eyes widened then he mumbled " No." Naruto just stared in silence but only for a few seconds when he heard " What?" Naruto just shook his head and said " Nothing." Naruto saw Kurenai nod so he sighed once again thinking ' Please don't be what I'm thinking.' Naruto then looked up at Kurenai and said " Let her sleep and don't wake her up. She needs to sleep." Naruto saw Kurenai nod so he gave a sad smile then heard " I am talking to her though?" Naruto nodded and said " I don't want you to but ok." Naruto then looked at Kurenai and said " If she doesn't wake up in time to take care of me, don't wake her up instead get me." Naruto saw Kurenai angry and confused so he said " mainly for the mission as her being concerned and doubting herself won't help. I'll place one of those seal tags that I placed on those bandits that attacked us on her. You then can put on her jacket then wake her up so she doesn't know." Naruto saw Kurenai nod then heard " If she's been hiding them how come she isn't now." Naruto sighed then said " She isn't holding her stomach which with stomach pain is unusual unless the pain got so bad it knocked her out." Naruto saw Kurenai nod so he nodded then he said turning " I'll be just outside the village training for the next few hours." Naruto then walked off Hinata still on his mind.
One Hour Later *
Naruto was standing in an opening with his sword in his hands which was shaking. Naruto couldn't help but think of Naruto and what he thinks who did that to her which made her angry. Naruto just let out a sigh putting the blade back in his holster when he heard " You ok?" Naruto looked to his right at Kakashi and, not in the mood, just said " What do you want?" Naruto saw Kakashi walk up and heard " To say I'm sorry?" Naruto just shook his head and said " For what?" Naruto saw Kakashi look up, putting his hands in his pocket and then heard " For trying to push you off but I had good intentions." Naruto just chuckled coldly to see Kakashi look at him and heard " Someone I consider my friend but I'll never admit to his face is Might Guy. He's a Jonin that can't use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu." Naruto was shocked by someone like that being a Jonin to hear " He is a Taijutsu master and his power can rival the Fourth Hokage." Naruto didn't do anything to hear " He also has a student who is a weapon user of all kinds including Kenjutsu…" Naruto gave a cold chuckle interrupting Kakashi then said " You even tried to push me off to someone not as good as you in using a sword." Naruto saw Kakashi just nod then heard " True but like I said she uses all types of weapons from swords to bows or crossbows. She doesn't even have half my skill but she could help and for stealth well I have mid Chunin so that was really just my skills."
Naruto just gave a slight nod not speaking to hear " Naruto I want your opinion." Naruto looked up and said " My opinion, really my fucking opinion?" Naruto anger rose to the surface which caused him to yell " My fucking opinion is that you're not even my sensei. You taught me tree walking that fucking all while you taught a stuck up no jerk piece of shit more than me." Naruto had tears down his face just, all the anger he had in general from over the years so he yelled " When I found out I was assigned to your team I had no idea who you are and I thought you were like everyone else." Naruto took a few steps and yelled " But the second I say your fucking hair Dog I was happy." Naruto saw Kakashi's exposed eye widened but he just continued yelling " Yes I know and it wasn't hard do to your fucking silver hair. You left me I had no one until I went to the academy and found Iruka." Naruto took more steps and then yelled pointing at Kakashi's chest " I needed you for seven years and you weren't there." Naruto's face was now covered in tears and he continued yelling " You weren't there for me and you promised me." Naruto let out some heavy breathes when he heard " Naruto…" Naruto shook his head and his voiced strained but he yelled " No, you talk about not abandoning your comrads as it fucking worse then scum then what the hell are you if you abandoned a seven year old child that you promised to be there for? What does that make you Kakashi." Naruto just looked at Kakashi for a few seconds not hearing anything so he turned and said " Leave me the fuck alone." Naruto didn't hear any footsteps then after a few seconds heard a sigh then heard " I should have talked to you the minute you got onto my team. Hell I should have talked to you the minute I left Anbu but I didn't and lived my life as the late Konoha ninja." Naruto heard another sigh then heard " I cared for you, I still do and I definitely fucked up but at least I was able to give you Iruka."
Naruto froze at those words instantly then he said " What?" Naruto didn't hear anything and he couldn't hold back his anger so he started yelling " What the hell do you mean?" Naruto saw Kakashi sigh then heard " I've known Iruka since he was a Genin. He was always a friend to me and actually helped me with you. If I couldn't he would drop off money from me at the Hokage's office that went to you. When he decided to become an academy teacher I knew you were going to join so I told Iruka that you wanted to be a ninja. He instantly went to the Hokage's office and made sure each year until you joined that he was your sensei." Naruto just stared at Kakashi in shock but he quickly shook it off and then said loudly " Doesn't matter you still left me." Naruto saw Kakashi nod and then heard " I know." Naruto saw Kakashi turn and wall off so he yelled " And you're not my fucking sensei you never were." Naruto then let out a huge sigh falling to his knees, his legs not able to hold him and he just cried silently, not able to hold in his emotions." After ten minutes Naruto got up, not able to train and headed to his hotel room and took a nap.
