~Alexandra~
I was in the car again but this time I saw my body lying down on the ground. My parents were crying. Oh god my parents, I miss them so much. Then I heard a voice and light. Shit! The car is about to hit me. It was so close. Oh no I don't want to die!!!
I opened my eyes and saw that I was still in my hospital room. I exhaled in relief and realized that I was sweating. I looked for Dr. Chase but I couldn't see her in the room.
I tried to move but my wound hurt immediately. I moaned in pain and wiped away a tear. Then I saw the emergency button and clicked on it.
The nurse rushed in and said, "Are you okay sweetie?" She asked when she saw me sitting on the bed. I didn't answer her question but instead asked, "Do you know where Dr. Chase is?"
She looked at me and said, "She's in surgery right now, why did you ask her?" She questioned. I didn't answer her question again and said, "When will she be out of surgery?"
She looked at her watch and said, "It has to be finished in 5 minutes." I felt relieved and replied, "Could you tell her Alexandra is waiting for her and it's important?"
The nurse laughed at me and said, "Oh, you think yourself important? Dr. Chase is a busy surgeon; she doesn't have time for kids like you." She said it meanly.
I shook my head and said "What do you mean kids like me?!" I asked with anger. She smiled and said "You don't have a family so you're an orphan."
I couldn't stop myself and punched her in the face. She gasped and exclaimed, "You little bitch! You're going to pay for that."
Then Dr Chase came in and looked at the nurse. Her expression became angry and shocked. I didn't look at her eyes and clenched my fists.
"Amy, how did this happen?" she asked the nurse. The nurse looked at her eyes and said, "She pressed the help button and I came in, then she told me she wanted you."
"I told her that you were in surgery, then she yelled and threatened me saying that if I didn't get you she would make me regret it, but I knew that wasn't right so I didn't, then she punched me in the face," she said.
Dr Chase looked at me with anger and rage. I looked down and didn't say anything. Then "Alex, is that true?" she asked. "Are you not believing me Dr Chase?!" she protested.
Dr Chase didn't looked at her eyes but "You can't talk to me with that attitude, change it or I'll make it." she said. Amy nodded and "Sorry sir." she said.
Dr Chase looked at Amy and said, "You can leave now. I'll take care of her." Amy left the room and closed the door.
When she left I took a deep breath and said "Look what she told us is not true at all." I said with a calm tone. Dr Chase sat next to me and said "I'm listening you Alexandra." she said officially.
I looked at her eyes and "I saw a nightmare and I panicked. Then I pressed the help button and Amy came in. I asked her where are you and she said you were in surgery.
Then I told her can she tell you that when your surgery finishes come into my room. She laughed at me and said "Oh you think yourself important? Dr Chase is a busy surgeon she doesn't have time for kids like you" she said then I asked her what she meant by that.
She called me an orphan! She told me my family was gone and I was an orphan!! Then I lost control and punched her." I said while I was crying.
Dr. Chase hugged me and said, "That's not true hon, I always have time for you." I buried my face in her scrubs.
She kissed my head and said, "Shhhhhh I'm not mad at you and I'm not judging you. You are so right about that she can't call you like that."
And I heard the whole conversation before you punched her. I was just curious if she was going to lie about it or not. And she did so don't worry sweetheart I'm here for you." she said.
I hugged her tightly and whispered, "I love you, Dr. Chase." She kissed the top of my head and replied, "Love you too, baby."
