Author's Notes: Ok, so yes Hinata was banished from her clan. The banishment seal is like the same in my other story. It's basically the Bird Cage Seal but she can't use her bloodline and can't have children.
Chapter 9: Chunin Exams Part 1* One Month Later *
Naruto was standing in front of the academy in his full ninja gear and his teammates. Naruto just gave a small smile when he heard Sasuke say " Let's go." Naruto nodded but before they left they all heard someone say " Hey." Naruto turned around and smiled to see team eight and when his eyes landed on his girlfriend he saw her appearance change. Naruto saw Hinata wearing a purple, blue-ish running jacket with no hood. Naruto also saw black pants, her kunai pouch on her right thigh, a strap across her chest holding a bo staff to it, her headband around her neck and a blue bandana around her forehead. Naruto just smiled and walked up and said " Hey." Naruto stopped in front of team eight and looked at Hinata and said " It's good to see you." Naruto saw Hinata nod with a smile to then hear Kiba say " You know, I hate that staff. Ever since she started to use it she puts me on my ass." Naruto chuckled as he saw Hinata blush to the complement when he heard Sakura yell " Stop talking to the enemy dumbass." Naruto sighed and was about to turn around when he heard Hinata say " Good luck." Naruto nodded and said " You too."
Naruto then turned and walked off to his team and followed them into the building. Naruto had only gotten to the second floor when they saw groups of people standing in front of a door. Naruto looked up at the door reading: 301. Naruto just sighed and mumbled " Aren't we on the second floor?" Naruto saw Sasuke just nod so he said " Genjutsu, we shouldn't cause anything and head to the third floor silently." Naruto saw Sakura and Sasuke nod so he smirked and before his teammates looked at him he disappeared going out a window to the third floor. After going through a third floor window he heard a chuckle so he looked up to see Kakashi. Naruto just gave a small smile then heard " I assume your teammates are behind you?" Naruto shrugged and said " Yea, I think so." Naruto heard a sigh from Kakashi and the next thing they both heard was Sakura yelling " What the hell, you just disappeared on us!"
Naruto turned around and said " We agreed to be stealthy so I did." Naruto then turned back around to Kakashi to hear " So your stealth is better." Naruto nodded, then said " Yea, thanks to Iruka. He would help me by playing hide and seek." Naruto saw Kakashi nod and then heard " Good." Naruto smiled to hear " You play hide and seek, why am I not surprised?" Naruto sighed to hear Kakashi say " It's a good idea actually. If you can hide for long periods of time that's good and playing with a Chunin is even better." Naruto nodded and then he heard Kakashi say " How long could you last?" Naruto just gave a small smile and said " My longest was an hour but mainly about thirty minutes." Naruot saw Kakashi nod when he heard Sakura say " Sasuke could easily do it for hours." Naruto sighed when he heard Kakashi say " Well, you should enter." Naruto nodded then started to walk when he stopped hearing Kakashi say " Be careful especially you Naruto. You have Zabuza's Executioner Blade which makes you a target." Naruto nodded with a small smile thinking ' Not surprised he's concerned for me but the lie just says what it says.'
Naruto didn't react and walked to the doors and entered the room. Naruto just stopped as he walked into the room to see ninja's from all hidden villages beside Iwa to no surprise. Naruto just looked for the nearest wall and walked over to it and just leaned against it with his shoulder. Naruto just looked around, but what caught him were three Genin from Kirigaku. Naruto watched the ninja for a few seconds and after seeing them definitely head towards him he got his footing and turned about to walk when he heard " Wait we just want to talk." Naruto sighed then turned around to a boy and two girls all a year older than him. Naruto saw them standing in a line so he looked to the left to see a girl with short brown hair, green eyes and their village headband on their forehead. Naruto saw this girl wear a dark blue short sleeve shirt under a no sleeve black jacket that is zipped up. Naruto also saw her wear black pants and a kunai pouch on her right thigh. Naruto looked to the right of the girl at a boy with brown hair that is in a mullet with black eyes and wears their village headband on their forehead. Naruto also saw the boy wear a black long sleeve shirt under a dark blue vest. Naruto also saw a pair of dark blue pants, with their kunai pouch on their left thigh and a katana strap to the guys back. Naruto then looked at the last person to see another girl with long blonde and lime green hair, blue eyes and their village headband around their neck. Naruto saw the girl wear a white long sleeve shirt that just covered her chest under a short sleeve jacket that only covered her chest as well. Naruto saw her wear black pants with her kunai pouch to her left thigh.
Naruto saw the boy step up and heard him say as he gestured to his team from right to left " This is Beta, I'm Roshin and this is Kei." Naruto nodded and then he heard " We just saw the Executioner Blade and I was wondering where you got it?" Naruto sighed then said " Zabuza gave it to me before his death." Naruto saw Roshin nod but before anything else could be said he heard Hinata say " Naruto." Naruto turned around and smiled seeing Hinata walk up so he looked forward and said " I was just talking to some Kiri ninja." Naruto looked at Hinata as she stopped next to him so he looked forward to hearing Roshin say " It's a disgusting bloodline person." Naruto sighed then said " And you fucked up. You try anything against her, I'll use this blade against your team." Naruto saw Beta smirk then heard " The Mizukage will want that blade." Naruto chuckled and said " He can take it over my dead body." Naruto saw Beta glare but then heard Kei say " Guess just calm down and sorry for them, insulting the both of you." Naruto looked at Kei in surprise and just nodded, then he watched the Kiri ninja walk off. Naruto smiled then he looked at Hinata and said " I assume you didn't fall for the Genjutsu down stairs?" Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard " Kiba did though call it out." Naruto then sighed when he heard someone yell " Sasuke it's good to see you." Naruto looked behind him at his other teammates to see Ino Yamanaka hugging Sasuke from behind. Naruto sighed then he chuckled when he saw some Konoha ninja with spiky silver hair walk up to them. Naruto just chuckled again and said " Well, how are you feeling?" Naruto saw Hinata look up at him then heard " Good, just nervous." Naruto nodded when he felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand so he turned around to look at three Genin from Suna. Naruto looked at one with red hair not knowing that he started to channel Kyuubi's chakra. Naruto just continued to look when he heard " Ichibi." Naruto just gave a mental nod then heard " That's my brother." Naruto nodded but before he could do anything he heard someone yell " Ok, everyone time for the first part of the exam to begin." Naruto turned and looked at a man to hear " I'm Ibiki, the protector of the first exam." Naruto nodded, then he saw Ibiki hold out a box and heard " You all will draw one number and sit at that number. If you are next to your teammate you will or your teammate will be moved." Naruto nodded then he followed instructions and after getting his number sat down to two complete strangers.
* Ten Minutes Later *
Naruto saw Ibiki look over everyone then heard " Ok here are the rules. You'll have an hour to answer ten questions. The first nine or on the paper and I'll give you the tenth question after forty-five minutes. If you are caught cheating you lose two points and if you are caught cheating five times you are out. Also if you're out your whole team is out." Naruto nodded and then heard " Ready begin." Naruto nodded as he flipped over the paper and started to read the questions to find them impossible to answer. After reading the first few questions Naruto started to get stressed so he looked around slightly for his eyes to land on Hinata to then remember something.
* Flash Back *
Naruto was walking around Konoha with Hinata when he heard " Naruto I was wondering if we could talk about the Chunin Exams that both teams are taking in a week." Naruto looked at his girlfriend and nodded and then heard " From what I remember learning is that the Chunin Exams have three parts. The last part is a one vs. one tournament to show your skills. The first one always has to deal with information gathering and one other factor with the second being a survival test and some other part to it." Naruto nodded and said " Ok, then I should work on some of my information gathering skills, survival skills I practically got." Naruto saw Hinata nod with a smile so he looked around and he grabbed her wrist pulling her into an alleyway. Naruto made one more look around to hear Hinata say " Naruto…" Naruto interrupted his girlfriend by kissing her.
* Present Time *
Naruto looked around for a few seconds then looked at his paper thinking ' Ok there are ten people per column and there are fifteen columns but with the last column only eight other's making one hundred and forty-eight people. Two must have the answers. Naruto sighed then he closed his eyes channeling Kyuubi's chakra. Naruto let out a small breath as he heard a kunai land next to him then heard a watcher tell the person he's out. Naruot let out one more breath to sense two different sources of anger. Naruto gave a smirk thinking ' That's right, once someone becomes Chunin they know my secret.' Naruto heard a chuckle then heard " I'll have to admit Naruto what you did is good but they are both a good distance from you." Naruto gave a mental nod when he heard " When you channel my chakra your eyes change and you can see in the night. I'll let you do it." Naruto smirked and gave another mental nod then he brought his head up as he raised his hand. Naruto saw Ibiki give him a nod so he said " Can I go to the bathroom?" Naruto saw Ibiki nod so he stood up and followed a watcher to the bathroom.
After a few minutes Naruto entered the room again and he just stood in front of the door as the watcher went back to his seat. Naruto saw Ibiki look at him so he got closer to the wall placing a hand on it. Naruto saw Ibiki just look then he gave a smirk, his eyes changing as he channeled lightning chakra to his hand against the wall. Naruto saw Ibiki just look at him so he closed his eyes as the lights went out. Thirty seconds later Naruto looked around his eyes normal as the lights came back on then he saw Ibiki watch him as he walked to his seat. Naruto just sat down and grabbed his pencil then wrote: We both know you can't call me out or you'll be executed. Naruto then flipped his paper over and put his arms on the table laying on them and closed his eyes channeling Kyuubi's chakra. Naruto only laid for a few seconds to hear " Really, you had to show him?" Naruto just mentally sighs and then thinks ' Yea, but it's an S-rank secret and he'll be executed for just saying it.' Naruto heard a chuckle then heard " That's fucking wrong." Naruto gave a mental chakra, then he stopped the channeling and quickly fell asleep.
* Thirty Minutes Later *
Naruto groaned as he raised his head to hear Ibiki say " Ok time for the tenth question but this question has its own rules." Naruto nodded to hear " First if you don't answer this question right you all won't become Chunin but also can never become a Chunin." Naruto just nodded when he heard someone yell " What, you can't do that." Naruto sighed to hear Ibiki say " You are welcome to quit now and take the exams another time." Naruto didn't hear anything then he heard someone quit and then others. After a few minutes Naruto heard a total of close to fifty people quit, not including their teammates. Naruto saw Ibiki look around then saw him smirk then heard Ibiki say " You all pass." Naruto heard someone yell " What?" Naruto heard Ibiki chuckle then heard " The point of the test was to test your information gathering skills but also the stress and dangers a mission can bring." Naruto let out his own chuckle then he saw Ibiki look at him and heard " Someone of you pulled off some stuff but you caused one hell of a light show." Naruto just chuckled again then said " I know, you are not a watcher so you can't say I cheated." Before anything else could be said a crash was heard then he saw a woman with purple pineapple hair, wearing a red chinese style shirt with black pants and a kunai pouch. Naruto saw the woman step up and heard " Sixty people, Ibiki you're getting soft." Naruto heard Ibiki chuckle then heard the woman say " I'm Anko Miterashi proctor of the second part. You'll all dismiss your sensei and tell you the location." Naruto nodded, standing up, then he looked at Hinata and smiled as he walked to her.
