Naruto was walking around Konoha with Hinata for a week as the couple started training with their respected teachers. Naruto was just looking around to hear " Naruto." Naruto looked to his left at Hinata to hear " You don't have to answer if it tells me what you're learning but who is teaching you?" Naruto just smiled and said " Actually you know his sensei." Naruto saw Hinata confused so he said " Jariya." Naruto saw Hinata's eyes widened but nodded so he said " It's ok to ask, I know that you train with Jiji." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he looked forward to hearing " He's helping a lot and pushing me. Kurenai would come by a few times to help if she could." Naruto nodded to hear " I think you shouldn't do extreme hard training all the way before the third part." Naruto looked at Hinata to see her frown so he said " No, I'm doing the same thing but the training could strain us and we might get powerful but our body won't do well. I was thinking maybe the last week we do light training then the last couple days nothing to make sure our bodies are fine." Naruto saw Hinata look up and nod then heard " You're right." Naruto smiled then looked forward to hearing " How is training going?" Naruto's smile dropped a little and said " Good, I'm doing a lot and Kakashi came by a couple days ago." Naruto let out a sigh to hear " You still hate him?" Naruto shrugged and said " I used to but once I broke down in front of him it changed. I can't help but get angry when he tells the team to be careful then finds an excuse to tell me to be more careful and it isn't because he cares. I mean before we went to the first part he told me to be extra careful when carrying the Executioner Blade."
Naruto sighed again and said " Sorry for ranting." Naruto just continued to look forward in silence that only lasted a few seconds when he heard Hinata say " Naruto, there is nothing to be sorry for and at least he's trying." Naruto nodded as he felt his fingers intertwine with Hinata so he said " Hinata what about…" Naruto stopped talking as he felt Hinata lean against his arm and heard " I don't care. Everyone knows we're close." Naruto just let out a sigh then said " True." Naruto then looked at his girlfriend to then hear " When's your birthday?" Naruto tensed up at the question then said " October tenth." Naruto felt a nod then heard " So, tomorrow." Naruto nodded and said " Yea, but please don't do anything. I don't enjoy my birthday at all and Iruka has tried to make it a good day but he couldn't." Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard " Tomorrow is the festable right?" Naruto nodded and then said " Yea." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he lightly shoved and said " Seriously don't try anything." Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard " Ok."
* One Day Later *
Naruto sighed as he slipped on his long sleeve shirt when he heard a knock on his door. Naruto walked to his door and after undoing the three extra then the original lock that was on the door and finally opened it. Naruto smiled as he looked at Hinata seeing her wearing some shorts just stopping mid thigh with a tank top and a picnic basket in hand. Naruto sighed to hear " Sarutobi Sensei told me that he and Master Jariya are doing something and gave us the day off including no training." Naruto nodded and said " Hinata I…" Naruto heard Hinata interrupt her by saying " I know but today is the worst day for you and we can't train so I want to take you to a place just outside the village that Kurenai showed me a while back." Naruto nodded and then heard " The Hokage has informed the gate guards and no, taking any weapons or gear." Naruto sighed but nodded and just stepped to the side and said " Come in I'll change but if you wish me a happy birthday I'm coming back and…" Naruto was interrupted feeling Hinata's lips against his lips and after a few seconds Naruto saw Hinata pulling back and he heard her say " I promise, now change." Naruto nodded, then he closed the door just locking the normal lock and then walked to his room and changed into some basketball shorts and a T-shirt.
Naruto sighed as he walked out of his room when he saw Hinata tugging at her shorts so he said " Are you ok?" Naruto saw Hinata look at him in shock then saw her face turn red and heard " I feel exposed with these shorts." Naruto nodded, then he looked around his room and after grabbing another pair of basketball shorts he threw them at Hinata and said " You can wear those." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he turned around to hear a chuckle then heard " You don't have to turn around." Naruto didn't move until he heard " Ok, I'm changed." Naruto nodded, turned around and smiled seeing the shorts go past her knees but just barely. Naruto just smiled and walked up to Hinata and said, taking the basket from her " What's in here?" Naruto saw Hinata smile then saw her turn around so he sighed then said slipping on his shoes " Let's go." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he followed his girlfriend.
* One Hour Later *
Naruto sighed as they stopped in an opening that is in the forest just outside Konoha. Naruto looked around to a body of water that was clear showing small rocks at the bottom. Naruto set down the basket to hear " It's a natural hot-spring. Only a few people know of this. The Hokage, Kurenai, Anko, me and now you." Naruto nodded as he looked around for him to stare at Hinata who was taking off her clothes. Naruto couldn't help but stare and blush as he saw Hinata in a one piece swimming suit that was purple and gray." Naruto saw Hinata shake her head, her long hair going over her face, then he saw her turn around and heard " You, ok?" Naruto just nodded as he took a couple steps closer then said " It's just…" Naruto shook his head with a chuckle then he grabbed his shirt lifting it up and took it off. After setting his shirt to the side he said " We don't have towels." Naruto looked back at Hinata seeing her looking down in embarrassment and heard " I forgot them." Naruto just smiled then said " It's ok, we could lay in the grass until we're dry." Naruto saw Hinata look up, her eyes going wide then heard " Naruto." Naruto looked down seeing his body covered in scars including his arms but also a four pack and after a few seconds Naruto looked up seeing Hinata just inches away from him. Naruto felt Hinata place a hand on his chest then heard " I thought you couldn't scar." Naruto sighed as he looked down at his body and said " I can, it's just really, really hard." Naruto felt Hinata take his hand and heard " How did you get them?" Naruto sighed heavily this time looking down and said " Hinata you know that the village doesn't like and they showed it since I was a baby." Naruto heard Hinata gasp then heard " They…" Naruto nodded and said " Yea, enough to cause scarring. It's why I wear long sleeve shirts all the time even in the summer."
Naruto sighed once again to feel Hinata put a hand on his cheek so he looked up and said grabbing her hand " I don't want to talk about it." Naruto saw Hinata smile then heard " One more question." Naruto nodded to hear " Why don't you leave?" Naruto chuckled coldly and then said " I've been…" Naruto sighed and said " One of my first scars came from me having a broken arm and leg with all my ribs broken. I had to stay in the hospital for months and I don't like the hospital. I was five and after I woke up he assigned me a bodyguard until I got out. I didn't trust him at first but then I did as time went on. He was funny, helpful and actually even taught me to read better and write. Jiji tried to teach me but he got really busy and basically after only two lessons he couldn't do it so I tried to teach myself." Naruto sighed then said " Getting off topic. After another attack that was as bad as before which was a year later I was given the offer but I wanted to stay as I didn't want to leave my only family which was him and…" Naruto saw Hinata nod and then heard " This bodyguard." Naruto nodded to hear " I know I said one question but who was this bodyguard?" Naruto smiled and said " Iruka." Naruto saw Hinata's eyes widened then heard " Really?" Naruto nodded and said " I've known Iruka for years. He was just starting at the academy as a teacher and didn't have a lot of time but he was always there." Naruto saw Hinata nod as he felt her whip away a tear from his cheek then heard " Ok, we weren't supposed to get sad, mainly you so let's have fun." Naruto nodded, then he looked up at Hinata's forehead seeing a bandana so he grabbed it sliding it down and kissed her on the forehead. Naruto then put it back up and looked at Hinata to see her shock and confusion so he said " I know my story brought back my memories but you're the only one I know who has ever experienced anything close to what I have and I know it made you start to think." Naruto saw Hinata just nod with a sad smile so he said " That's why I kissed you on the forehead to tell you that it made you stronger and to my preference I would have dated you no matter what but I prefer Hinata not Hinata Hyuga." Naruto saw Hinata give another sad smile then he said " You're right now I'm sad again." Naruto heard his girlfriend giggling so he grabbed her hand and walked over to the body of water.
After watching Hinata get in he stepped in the water hot but not burning hot and it just felt nice. Naruto slipped down onto his knees then his but and just sat there letting the water take away his stress Naruto let out a sigh with a smile to hear " You like it." Naruto nodded looking around and said " Yea and this place is beautiful." Naruto looked back at Hinata, seeing her nod as she used her hands to move and let the water lift her legs. Naruto couldn't help but stare at her enjoying the sight of her body but mainly her face and thankful she did this. After staring for a few seconds he sighed again leaning back closing his eyes.
* Ten Minutes Later *
Naruto opened his eyes as he felt a weight on his leg then he looked forward seeing Hinata her face inches apart with a smile on her face. Naruto just smiled sitting up straight then he said " Hello there." Naruto saw Hinata just continue to smile as she got closer and he let her. After feeling her lips touch his, Naruto felt Hinata wrap her arms around his neck so he did the same to her waist pulling her closer feeling her chest against his and just made out with her. After a few minutes they broke apart but keeping their faces close and he just smiled and said " Thank you, for doing this." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he continued to smile and said " You can say it." Naruto saw Hinata's smile get bigger then heard " Happy Birthday." Naruto just chuckled a little bit of coldness in his tone and after realizing that he said " Sorry, I didn't mean to sound rude." Naruto saw Hinata just nod with a smile and heard " I kind of pieced it together from the talk in your apartment to the talk ten minutes ago that they ruined the saying." Naruto just nodded then he felt Hinata lay her head against his chest moving to the side to hear " I know it was bad but with Iruka and the Hokage there had to be some of it good even a little." Naruto nodded with a small smile and said " Yea, Iruka knew how I was treated and knew this day sucked and he knew I didn't like the saying or to celebrate but he refused to just do nothing so he got me a gift of my choice. I usually choose a few things like a wallet and a night cap that I stopped using a long time ago but I mainly just asked for ramen." Naruto felt Hinata nod so he smiled then let out a sigh closing his eyes as he wrapped his arm around Hinata as he said " Thank you, again truly." After lunch he and Hinata used the blanket they at on to cover themselves as they laid on the grass falling asleep.
* Hours Later *
Naruto sighed as he entered Konoha the sun going behind a mountain and after standing in front of the gate he looked at Hinata and said " Thank you." Naruto saw Hinata just smiling so he said " And I also saw through your lie. I know they didn't have anything to do today. Pervy Sage had a big plan today." Naruto saw Hinata smile and heard " I know you said you don't like your birthday but after we split yesterday I talked to the HOkage telling him the plan and he agreed." Naruto just nodded when he heard " Hey you two." Naruto to his left sees Iruka walking with Anko. Naruto looked at the two seeing Iruka holding a folder so he said " Hey Iruka." Naruto saw Iruka smile then he saw Iruka look at Anko with a blush and heard " So tomorrow night." Naruto saw Anko nod with a blush which made him smirk. Naruto saw Iruka turn and walk to them then hear " Hey, I have something for you Naruto." Naruto sighed to hear '" I know you get to choose the gift but I would give it to you no matter if it was your birthday or not." Naruto nodded as he saw Iruka stop in front of them then heard " So I see you two had fun in the spring." Naruto chuckled and then heard Hinata say " How?" Naruto sighed then said " I know how Kurenai found it. Iruka has an act for finding some of the best places to just be in Konoha." Naruto saw Iruka smile then heard " Yea, I returned from a mission with Kurenai, finding it." Naruto nodded when he saw Iruka hold out a file then heard " This took years to get but just think it over." Naruto took it and quickly opened the file to instantly drop it. Naruto looked up seeing Iruka giving a smile then he said " But…" Naruto saw Iruka nod and said " Yea, I know what I told you but I was eighteen and you already know the rest." Naruto nodded and then heard " I filed for these three years ago and finally I got them." Naruto just nodded in shock when he heard " Naruto." Naruto looked at Hinata to hear " You should do it." Naruto just nodded a smile appearing on his face and said " I will if you will." Naruto saw Hinata look up so he looked at Iruka and said " One rule." Naruto saw Iruka nod so he said " I want your last name." Naruto saw Iruka's eyes widened and quickly nodded and then heard " I wanted that but it…" Naruto interrupted Iruka but hugged him and after a few seconds he pulled back and said looking at Hinata " But I'll only do it if she'll take Kurenai's last name." Naruto saw Hinata's eyes widened then heard " Naruto I…" Naruto nodded with a smile and said " I'm not pressuring you but me taking his last name is my choice as I have the Uzumaki as my last name but I never really had a last name until now." Naruto sighed and said " It's your choice." Naruto saw Hinata nod then heard ' I'll think about it." Naruto just nodded, then he looked at Iruka and said " Can we talk tomorrow about it?" Naruto saw Iruka nod as he took the folder from Hinata then he turned towards Hinata seeing her smile then heard " I've got a story for you." Naruto chuckled as he heard Iruka walk away.
