Naruto was walking to the arena where the third part of the Chunin Exams is taking place with his girlfriend next to him. Naruto looked at Hinata with a smile to hear " What are you looking at this time?" Naruto shrugged looking forward and then whispered " You know what? We're quitting and I'll take you to my apartment so I can kiss you." Naruto looked over at Hinata again seeing her blushing but he smiled looking forward. Naruto and Hinata both walked in silence when he heard " Hey." Naruto looked to his left at Kakashi then looked forward and said " What?" Naruto heard a sigh from the one-eyed shinobi to hear " To let you know Dosu disappeared and in doing so the matches were changed but not a lot." Naruto nodded and then heard " And good luck." Naruto looked at Kakashi as he walked off to hear " What's with you and Kakashi." Naruto sighed then said " It's a long story and I'll tell you later." Naruto saw Hinata nod so he looked forward to the arena in the distance.
After walking for ten minutes Naruto stopped in front of a door that led to a viewing area for the contestants. Naruto looked at Hinata and just nodded, then he opened the door and after Hinata walked in he followed her. Naruto sighed as they went up the stairs to see every other contestant but when he eyed Gaara he walked over to his brother. Naruto stopped next to Gaara and said " When we fight I won't use the jutsu but I will if a match is called but you still try to kill." Naruto looked at Gaara seeing him just nod without an expression and after a few seconds heard " I want to ask you something?" Naruto looked at Gaara to hear " We're weapons, how do you live even if this village hates you?" Naruto sighed then said " I got lucky, I got a few people who care for me. Truth is I hate this village but the people I care for live here so I'll protect it with my life." Naruto saw Gaara look down and heard " But they'll just turn on you." Naruto nodded and then whispered " I was recently adopted by someone I have known for years. Kyuubi killed his parents, he doesn't blame me." Naruto then turned and walked off leaving Gaara in shock.
* Ten Minutes Later *
Naruto was waiting for the matches to begin when he heard Hayate the proctor say loudly " Ok, can the contestants come down?" Naruto moved from the wall he was leaning against and walked down the stairs to the arena floor and then walked over to Hayate. After about a minute and the ten contestants standing in a line they heard Hayate say " Ok, do to Dosu disappearing, the matches have been changed. Match one is Hinata Yuhi vs. Neji Hyuga." Naruto could hear gasps from the crowd then he looked at Kurenai seeing her shock then he looked at Hinata thinking ' I assume you'll tell me later.' Naruto then looked back at Hayate to hear him say " Match two is Sasuke Uchiha vs. Naruto Umino." Naruto heard more gasp but he didn't care to hear " Match three is Shikamaru Nara vs. Temari, match four is Kei vs. Shino Abruama, match five is Gaara vs. Kankuro." Naruto nodded to hear " Match six is winner of match one vs. winner of match two vs. winner of match five. Match seven is the winner of match three vs. the winner of match four." Naruto nodded in surprise for a three way fight but with Gaara and Hinata it will be fun for him. After a few seconds of silence Naruto heard Hayate say " Ok, Hinata and Neji stay the rest back in the viewing box." Naruto nodded and then turned and walked off and as he walked off he said loudly " Good luck Hinata."
Hinata was standing in front of Neji, her staff, out to hear " Just give up. Destiny declares me the winner." Hinata sighed but didn't speak and just stood there in her stance watching Neji get into his stance. After a few seconds she heard Hayate say " Start." Hinata jumped back as Neji charged her and after landing she threw a couple of kunai to see Neji catch them then throw them back which she dodged. Hinata then put her staff on her back as she jumped back again doing hand signs and after landing on the wall she said " Water Style Water Bullet Jutsu." Hinata then shot a huge bullet made of water out of her mouth seeing Neji dodge the jutsu and as her cousin dodge she saw him throw kunai at her. Hinata rolled, pulled out her staff and jumped over Neji. After landing Hinata turned to be striked in the shoulder which made her stumble back to see Neji go for another but she moved herself to the right hitting Neji in the ribs.
Hinata then twirled, splitting apart her staff and used one piece to hit Neji in the ribs while using the other to trip him. Hinata then jumped back seeing Neji getting up so she did some hand signs then said " Lightning Style, Angel's Tears." Hinata then drew a kunai putting lightning chakra in it then threw it straight up flying in a blur. Hinata saw Neji smirking and then heard " That was pointless." Hinata just smirked as she saw Neji charge but she jumped back to land on the wall then pushed herself forward as then rain appeared and fell hard. After a few seconds the rain stopped, leaving the whole arena floor with about half an inch of rain. Hinata did more hand signs then said " Water Style, Water Senbon Storm." Hinata saw all of the water lift up needles forming then she saw them fly at Neji. Hinata saw Neji grow angry but her eyes then went wide hearing " Rotation." Hinata saw Neji turn in a circle a dome of chakra forming.
After a few seconds she saw Neji stop his jutsu then heard " Destiny declares me the winner." Hinata sighed thinking ' Fuck, about half my chakra reserves are gone. I got to do Taijutsu.' Hinata charged at Neji, pulling out her staff and went for a strike. After Hinata saw Neji dodge they started going back and form Neji landing more hits. After about ten minutes Hinata deflected one of Neji's attacks to hear " Impressive you are going to make me use both of my techniques." Hinata then felt Neji hit her wrist making her drop her staff then heard " Eight Trigrams Sixty-four Palms." Hinata's eyes widened as she was struck by hearing " Two Palm." Hinata then was struck four more times after hearing " Four Palm." Hinata staggered back from six more strikes and as she saw Neji go for the seventh strike she grabbed his wrist. Hinata gave a small smirk as she kicked him in the stomach then said " Well Neji you didn't expect that." Hinata then put her hand in the tiger hand sign as she let out a burst of chakra." Hinata saw Neji shocked so she smiled and said " You don't think I wouldn't find a way around it. I mean to unblock the chakra points you just strike it again with a burst of chakra so I did the same thing to me throughout my body." Hinata saw Neji charge but she jumped over him as she thought ' Fuck, I need to be careful.' After a landing she turned around, threw two kunai then she turned back around jumping at her staff. Hinata then took the staff apart into two. Hinata turned her right hand pointing down her pointer and middle finger while holding one part of her staff. Hinata then threw it as she finished turning around. Hinata saw the part of her staff fly at Neji seeing a little bit of electricity lifting up from the staff but only for a second. Hinata saw Neji catch her staff then heard " You think you could…" Hinata interrupted by saying " Lightning Style, Whiplash." Hinata then saw her staff let out a burst of electricity making Neji drop it and look at his hand which Hinata saw burns. Hinata saw Neji breathing heavily then saw him look up, pist off and then heard " You'll…" Hinata just chuckled as she saw Neji fall forward then she said " Also one of my kunai I threw was just a shadow clone." Hinata looked at her clone and nodded and then saw it disappear which made her think ' Well there goes my chakra reserves.' Hinata then smiled hearing Hayate say " Winner Hinata Yuhi." Hinata smiled standing up then she walked to get her other half of her staff. After attaching her staff and putting it on her back she was about to walk off to hear " Destiny said I was the winner." Hinata looked at Neji, seeing him struggling to get up, so she said " Your hand is fine. It might twitch or move randomly but that will stop eventually." Hinata then turned around to hear " How are you happy? How are you strong? You were banished from the Hyuga's." Hinata let out a sigh then heard " Neji, you were a jackass to me at the compound because something happened when I was a little girl. You greeted this destiny thing to grieve your father because you weren't allowed emotions." Hinata then looked behind her and said " I'm happy I am banished. I get to be me, I get to cry, show emotions and not be judged." Hinata then took a few steps to stop and said " That's what family is for which the Hyuga's aren't to me or you. You ever need to talk, you can talk to me."
Naruto looked at his girlfriend as she stopped at the top to hear Hayate say " Can Naruto and Sasuke come down?" Naruto sighed as he started to walk to then stop in front of Hinata. Naruto just smiled to hear Hinata say " Good luck." Naruto nodded, then he looked past Hinata seeing Sasuke go down but he looked at girlfriend and just kissed her. After a few seconds he pulled back and then said " That's for winning your match." Naruto then walked down as the rest of the contestants stared at him in shock with Shino only raising an eyebrow and Shikamaru just mumbling something. After getting to the ground he stopped in front of Sasuke seeing him holding a katana out with a sheath on his back. Naruto just drew the Executioner Blade getting into his stance to hear Sasuke say " You know Hinata would make a good wife for me to rebuild my clan." Naruto chuckled coldly then said " You even try to flirt with my girlfriend I'll make it impossible for your clan to exist without killing you." Naruto saw Sasuke glare at him but Naruto smirked and after a few seconds they both heard Hayate say " Start." Naruto jumped back instantly, throwing two kunai just putting the sword in his holster as a clone appeared. Naruto saw the clone nod so he brought his sword out and charged thinking ' Gaara is going to be a pain. I need to save chakra and the least amount of injuries, as possible.' Naruto blocked one of Sasuke's sword strikes then he kicked him in the stomach and went for a slash himself.
After a few minutes Naruto jumped back after blocking another strike. Naruto put his blade in its holster as he landed on the ground then he did some hand signs and after he yelled " Wind Style, Slashing Storm." Naruto then let out a huge gust of wind from his mouth making Sasuke fly back and hit a wall. Naruto instantly ran at Sasuke seeing him slowly getting up and then he saw the Uchiha look at him. Naruto drew a gravity seal wanting to end the fight when Sasuke moved faster then he ever had. Naruto looked at Sasuke seeing marks across his whole body while he stood on the wall then he saw Sasuke do hand signs. Then crouched his hand facing the wall as he heard what sounded like hundreds of birds chirping. Naruto looked at the ball of lightning in Sasuke's hands then heard " Chidori." Naruto saw Sasuke move in a blue blur and he knew he had no other choice so he reached into his kunai pouch pulling out a three prong kunai and threw it. Naruto saw Sasuke tilt his hand holding the ball of lightning out at him but he smirked as he quickly did hand signs and disappeared in an orange flash. Naruto caught the kunai he threw at Sasuke slamming the gravity seal on Sasuke then activated it. Naruto breathed heavily as he landed on the ground seeing Sasuke struggling to move. Naruto looked at Hayate and said " Gravity seal, he can't get up." Naruto saw Hayate nod then saw him about to speak but he fell to his hands and knees puking out blood. After about twenty seconds Naruto fell onto his but whipping his mouth to hear Hayate say " You ok?" Naruto nodded slowly standing up and said " Fuck, I hate using the Harishin." Naruto looked at Hayate seeing him in shock so he waved at him slowly walking to the viewing box as he heard Hayate say " Winner Naruto Umino." Naruto smiled as he did a hand sign, deactivating the Gravity Seal.
After getting to the viewing box Naruto saw Hinata run over to him and heard " Naruto you ok?" Naruto gave a weak nod as they all heard Hayate say " Shikamaru, Temari come down." Naruto just let Hinata guide him to a seat and sat down to hear " What, jutsu was that?" Naruto looked at Hinata then at everyone seeing them listening but before he could speak he heard Kakashi say " Harishin, my sensei's famous jutsu." Naruto nodded to hear " Where did you get it from?" Naruto chuckled and then said " Who do you think?" Naruto saw Kakashi expose eye go wide then heard " He wouldn't." Naruto chuckled again then said " He gave me the kunai and I quickly found out that the seal is actually on a scroll and used the seal on the kunai to basically summon the scroll. He let me break it down and I taught myself after that." Naruto saw Kakashi just looking at him then heard " Naruto…" Naruto interrupted Kakashi and said " Don't your fucking dare. The Harishin is powerful and would be useful in a lot of things but you taught Sasuke the fucking Chidori." Naruto let out a breath and said " I have the jutsu incomplete anyways that's why I puked." Naruto saw Kakashi about to speak so he said " Don't." Naruto saw Kakashi nod and then disappear in a blur when he heard Kei say " He's your sensei, and you treat him with respect." Naruto chuckled coldly and said " He's not my sensei and he's lucky to get a little of my respect after what he did to me." Naruto let out a sigh which told everyone he's done talking and they focused on the fight. ( Shikamaru vs. Temari is the same as cannon.) Naruto just looked at Shikamaru, confused and shocked that he quit when he then heard Shino say " Proctor I quit my match. Kei is from Kiri and her water would easily kill my bugs and how do I know that? Because water and bugs don't mix." Naruto looked at Shino in complete shock when he heard Konkuro say " Proctor I also quit." Naruto looked at Kankuro and then said loudly " Really? What is with everyone and fucking quiting." Naruto heard chuckles but he groaned to hear " Gaara, Naruto and Hinata get down here."
