Leon looked at Claire, whose mouth was being covered by Chris. However, Claire wasn't even paying attention; she was just listening to them.

Claire soon found herself being sent to meet some kind of tentacle monster. She was pretty nervous about meeting the creature and took a deep breath before entering the Umbrella Lab.

Claire was given a paper to sign and she read it carefully before signing it. She then went to the lab and looked closely at the tube from afar.

She questioned in her head before taking a closer look, that humanoid part of him, that face, that hair, yup it was Steve.

Claire walked towards the glass wall, and the lab door opened for her. Gentle tentacles then took her inside as the door closed behind her.

The floor of the lab room was padded and soft; Claire's attention was mostly stolen by Steve. A tentacle picked her up, letting her go once she was back on her feet. Claire regained her balance before turning to look at Steve.

His form was so breathtaking, she'd never seen such amazing features before, where Steve's legs should've been… they were replaced by tentacles that explained why he wasn't on the ground.

Claire questioned to herself before taking a step closer, one tentacle soon grabbed her torso as they lifted her from the ground. Claire looked to Steve and the tentacle pulled her towards his face.

Don't hurt me, Steve, Claire begged before being put down gently. Steve and Claire locked eyes.

I'm…so…happy, to see you, Steve said his voice unhumanlike, his teeth were sharper than usual human teeth, Claire felt a tear drop from her eye but wiped it as she smiled.

Sooner or later, Claire carefully walked towards Steve with her hand outstretched. Steve took her hand in his own and gave her a gentle hug.

Oh Steve, Claire was about to pull away when she was pulled closer into a hug, she froze, it felt different… Steve sees Umbrella Soldiers coming in.

Come, Miss Redfield, closing time, the Commander told her and she waved see you later to Steve, who waved back before watching her go.
