War Amongst Clans
Leonardo, or simply Leo for short was watching his favorite sci-fi show, Space Heroes, but this time it was a prequel. Just as the next episode was about tk come to an end. The television just switch. "Hey, what gives-ah..." He turned to see a girl in a uniform of a kunoichi. "K-Karai!" He blushes, seemingly changes his mind ans sees Karai holding out the remote.
"Sorry, Leo. But my favorite show was on."
"No, no! It's fine. I mean, how come you came all this way to see it?" Asked Leo.
"My satellite dish had broke, but the lair has a good system to it." Leo did not want to miss the end of the episode, but doesn't mind Karai hanging around watching anything she had in mind.
"Anyway, what are we watching?"
"It's called War Amongst Clans. Based on a novel I read." Karai expalined. "It's about a kunoichi whose father was a yakuza leader ordered to eliminate her lover, who is the son of another yakuza clan. And was left with a choice to betray her fathe, or to join him."
"Really? Sounds interesting." Leo blushed. Then the movie came to the start with a title.
The scene starts with a kunoichi with long blonde hair and green eyes and donned in black ninja armor and katanas, her name is Yuzuki. While in a battle stance against a boy with brown hair and blue bandana and garb, also with swords, his name is Bushiko.
"When it comes to love, it also comes with a price."
The scene then came with rain. Both ninjas on the movie then charged at each other and slash their swords together.
"And I am willing to pay for it. For the love I can't have."
"It's not too late to join me, Yuzuki!"
"I'm sorry Bushiko, I can't! I have an obligation to my family and clan!"
Leo may have been a fan of Space Heroes, but War Amongst Clans took a whole new level of nostalgia. Then Michaelangelo, or rather Mikey, an orange anthropomorphic turtle with an orange mask passed by with pizza in his hands. "Hey, Leo! No Space Heroes today?" Mikey said chewing his pizza.
Then he notices Karai. "Oh, hey, Karai! What up?!" Just as the two were being captivated by the show on screen. Mikey began to see the similarities between the characters in the show and Leo and Karai.
"Man, talk about deja vu." Mikey said, now feeling captivated by the show. Seeing Leo blinking after memories kept flashing in his mind. Karai said nothijg as her eyes turned to him and then back to the screen.
"Why Yuzuki? After all this time?!"
"Consider this payback for trying to eliminate my father!"
"I had to. But if you want revenge, take it out on me, not my family."
"Aww, those two are made for each other!" Mikey cooed seeing the chemistry between two characters on the show.
"Do you think they're gonna start realizing that they didn't have to be enemies and mattered to each other more? Or are they gonna finish each other off for the sake of their clans?" Leo asked. Wanting to see what happens next.
"I don't know. Let's see how the series ends." Karai replied.
"Oh man, this is so you and Leo, Karai. I am watching the first episode already I like this drama." Mikey remarked. Only she didn't protest, instead she is at a loss for words. At least she didn't retaliate like how Raph does.
"That's actually episode 5." Karai corrected. Then Raph, a turtle with a red mask joins in, for once he was glad Leo wasn't watching Space Heroes at this time.
"No Space Heroes this time? What a relief." Raph said eating popcorn in his hand, until he felt the bowl empty. He blinked until he noticed the popcorn was gone. He knew he filled it up seconda ago. "What the-?" Raphael then heard Mikey eating the last bits of popcorn and realized he ate it all. "Mikey!" Raph shouted angrily and chased after his youngest brother. While Leo and Karai kept watching.
The next scene shows Bushiko being invited to meet Yuzuki on the top of the Power Tower of Tokyo for something sinister.
"The naginata of Tomoe Gozen?"
"Beautiful, isn't it. The greatest spearswoman in the history of the pre-modern Japan."
"What's the deal with the spear anyway?"
"You heard me, Bushiko."
"What?"
"We're going to steal it. Maybe get a fortune. Can you imagine how much we both can make?"
Raph was getting bored of the bittersweet scene of the drama and was waiting for a combat scene. "Ugh! How long before they get into battle, just fight already!" Raph threw his arms up as the three shushed him. "Shhh!"
"You're starting to annoy me."
Then the scene shows Yuzuki placing her hand on her blade before Bushiko gently takes her palm.
"Yuzuki, you don't have to do this."
"I know, that's what makes it fun!"
The two then clash swords. "Okay, that's better." Raph said while throwing one popcorn and then catches it with his mouth before chewing it.
"Whoa, they're really going to keep fighting each other, huh?" Leo asked.
"Until the clan wars end, who knows how it's going to end." Karai said. Then Leo looks at her hand. Then back to a screen and back again. He had a thought of touching her hand before he backed out on that. It was too awkward for him to think of holding her hand when he knew either she would retaliate, or it will be embarrassing for the both of them.
So he remained silent while continuing to watch the movie. Karai then glanced back.
"Leo, what are your thoughts?" Asked Karai.
"N-nothing. Just can't blame the nostalgia of the culture of refercences of Yakuza. Talk about good writing...yeah..." He blinked. So did Karai.
"Where's Donnie?" Asked Mikey.
"I asked him to fix the satellite dish." Karai replied.
Meanwhile, on top of the roof of Karai's current Foot Clan lair. Thought haunted by the memories of battling Shredder from time and again, Donatello, with a purple mask, was amplifying the satellite dish that was broken from a scuffle against a rival clan similar to the Foot Clan.
"A rival clan in New York? This is a while new level of a ruckus war. But on the plus side, the sky seems like a nice view up ahead." Donnie said to himself.
Suddenly, when looking up in the starry sky, he was mesmerized by the stars. Something sparkly blinged from above and Donnie was blinked for why that star. Then the star comes closer, and closer as he stared at it. Until it hits him on the head.
"Ow!" Donnie rubbed his head as he still feels the throbbing pain. "What the shell hit me on my head?!" Then he stopped to see something glowing beneath him. It was lavender-pink color blinking light as Donnie picks it up.
"Whoa, fascinating." He awed. Unbeknownst to him, he was being watched.
"Interesting. That prism isn't like the ones I have seen in the encyclopedias. But something about it is special." He chuckled.
"You may have won against Shredder and the Kraang. What annoys me more than ninjas, it's always teenagers. They cheer, they live and mess around. And it sickens me! The turtles were not the only nuisances of the planet. Those high school manics are also going to get what they deserve! They all will rue the day you pulverized me! Baxter Stockman!" Said a man holding up his binocular spying on Donnie while fantisizing a victory on what he can do with this prism.
"Hahahaha! Hahahahah! Ahhahahahah!" He laughed maniacally. Befire he was being shouted by a civilian in an apartment building. "Hey! Do you mind! I'm trying to get some sleep here!" The moment was ruined.

As for Baxter Stockman, not only he sets revenge on the Turtles. But he also wants revenge on every teenager in the world, having a not-so-happy high school life as a teenager himself as said in the Maze of Doom.
