"Good morning, pretty flower," Seth said.
As any other morning, Floretta got woken up by his cheerful voice followed by a kiss. She wrapped her arms around his neck and allowed him to pull her up to sit before opening her eyes.
"Good morning, gorgeous," she said.
She turned her head and her smile fell. Her phone was upside down again. She grabbed it and opened the gallery. Five new pictures of her sleeping had been taken during the night.
"If this is your way of pranking me, it's not funny," she said.
"I would never do that to you," he said.
"Look me in my eyes and swear you're not doing this to fuck with my head," she said.
He sighed and looked her directly in her emerald green eyes. He moved his hands up to push some of her long, medium brown hair behind her ears, and then placed his hands on her cheeks.
"I swear I'm not fucking with you. Like we agreed yesterday, I must be doing it in my sleep. Maybe you should hide your phone tonight without telling me where. I can't take pictures of you if I don't know where your phone is," he said.
She nodded, managed to force out a smile, and pecked his lips.
"I'm taking a shower," she said.
She stood in the shower and thought about it. One time of him sleepwalking and doing something so random and far out as picking up her phone and taking pictures of her could be explained by some fucked up dream. It happening two nights in a row sent it directly into creepy territory. She finished the shower and walked out in the kitchen to join him.
"What's on your mind?" He asked.
"Maybe we do have a ghost," she said.
"Maybe," he shrugged. "I'm not sure I believe in ghosts but we'll leave the option open for now."
He looked at the wall clock and quickly downed the rest of his coffee before standing up.
"Are you gonna be okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'm leaving in 15 minutes. I'll be fine. I'll see you later. I'm gonna cook moussaka tonight," she said.
"That sounds delicious," he said.
He leaned down and gave her a kiss.
"I'll see you later," he said.
Once he was out of the door, she picked up her phone and walked out to her car. She had a bad feeling about staying inside the house. Once safe out in her car, she called in sick to work. There was something she needed to do. She needed to know for sure if it was Seth or a ghost messing with her. She had to buy a camera and install it without telling him in case for some fucked up reason it was him messing with her on purpose.
