Test, after test, after test. That was 16 year old Eto's life. He was an orphan, parents died in a car crash when he was 2 and he didn't have any living family. So, the Yamamoto-Yoshinobu orphanage took him in. On the outside, it was a normal orphanage dedicated to raising the unwanted of society. However, on the inside, it was dedicated to experimenting on orphans to create artificial magus by implanting Magic Circuits into the children. Eto was no different. The Magus in charge of the Orphanage implanted 70 Magic Circuits inside Eto. However, unlike the other children of Eto's generation, Eto survived the procedure.
"Where are we going, Jikka-Sensei?" Eto asked the purple haired Magus pulling him along.
Jikka turned his head and smiled. "Something very important is approaching, Eto. And you will be our catalyst to achieve our goals."
Eto looked at his teacher with confusion, "What do you mean, Jikka-Sensei?"
"Do you know anything about the Holy Grail War, Eto?" Eto shaked his head and Jikka begin's his explanation.
"The Holy Grail War is a ritual amongst us Magus to compete for the Holy Grail, a magical cup that grants the winner one wish. Seven Magus or "Masters" summon Servants, Heroic Spirits brought forth as Familiars, to fight through an intense battle royale. Last one standing wins the cup. As we, the Yamamoto-Yoshinobu orphanage, are affiliated with the Church, we serve as Supervisors for the war, enforcing the rules of the war. We summon our servants before anyone else, the special Ruler class servant. Usually, we are not allowed to directly precipitate, however…"
Jikka reaches a pitch black door, "We have recently found a way to circumvent these rules."
Jikka turns around to face Eto. He kneels and places his hands on Eto's shoulders. "Will you be the next Overseer? Will you be the orphanage's hope and win the war for us?"
Eto gulps. This was a huge responsibility on his shoulders but… everyone was relying on him. "I'll do it."
Jikka smiles and pulls the door open, "Wonderful."
Well that's the prologue folks! I've decided on writing a fate syoc! I've written for a lot of syoc's but never one myself!
