Tris's POV:

It's been a year since I've been shot by David in the weapons lab.

It's been nine months since I've gotten out of a coma.

It's been eight months since I've been in that hospital bed.

It's been five months since Tobias, the love of my life, proposed.

It's been two months since our wonderful wedding.

And it's been one month since our beautiful honeymoon.

Everything has been wonderful. We've reenacted the faction system, but the people have a lot more say and control in our government, because nobody wants another civil war between the divergent and the Erudite. All the traitors have been put under truth serum for a trial before a jury, then if found guilty, they were executed.

Tobias and I train initiates, and we've made the initiation a lot less brutal, while still being tough, and getting the initiates to the physical, and mental strength to an acceptable point. Christina is a fashion designer, Zeke still works in the control room, and Shauna is a stay at home mom.

Zeke and Shauna welcomed their first child this February, and they're planning on having more. They have a little son, Uriahs, after Zeke's little brother, Uriah, who died after an explosion set off in the Bureau.

It's been a sad couple months however, since because of me getting shot in the stomach, legs, and chest, there was enough trauma to my body, that it didn't allow me to conceive. That news was probably the hardest news that both Tobias and I have ever experienced. It crushed us both, since really all we were doing during our honeymoon was trying and trying and trying. And everyday after, I would take two tests, and they would both end up negative. Then we would try, try, and try again. And it was negative again.

I haven't seen my friends since our honeymoon, since I've been wallowing in self pity on our couch, only interacting with Tobias, and that's only very rarely, since he's been holding me and being my rock since finding out I was infertile.

He only went out once since our honeymoon, and that was to get us some more food since we were running low on food. Thankfully, he didn't see any of our friends and none of our friends saw him.

I was sitting on the couch, waiting for Tobias to come back from the bathroom, when there was a knock on the door. I ignored it, but the knocking got more and more persistent. I waited for Tobias to come back from the bathroom, and when he did, he opened the door with a gun in his hand.

When he opened it, there was a medium sized box with an envelope lying on it. Tobias poked his head out the door, looking in all directions to see if he could find anyone who could have left the box there. He set down the box on the coffee table, and opened it.

Inside it, there were four books. I scooted from the corner of the couch to the edge, taking a closer look at the books. The book on the top was named Divergent and had flames, similar to the Dauntless flames on the cover. Tobias laid out the books on the coffee table so we could both look at the mysterious books.

The second book had a withering tree, its leaves blowing away in a circular motion, and was called Insurgent. And the third book had an ocean wave symbol that was called Allegiant. And finally, the fourth book, which was ironically called Four, had a sparking Ferris wheel on the cover. All the covers looked so different, yet it looked like they just belonged together.

When Tobias was done analyzing the books, he opened the envelope, and it was addressed to "Four" and "Tris."

Dear Four and Tris,

I hope this letter finds you well. You must be puzzled as to why I sent you, but I sent you them for good reason. You need to read, and so do your friends, about what happened during the Faction Civil War. Yes, you know what happened during the war from your own point of view, but everyone is going to learn how you, Tris, processed everything before and during the faction war. However, in these books, there is no future for you. In these books, Caleb didn't get to you in time, and you sadly died. Four, I know you're seething at this right now, but there's something else. The writer of these books, Veronica Roth, wrote these books in another world. In the other world, it's far in the past. Veronica released these books out to the public, because she's what we know as a "time traveler." She witnessed everything that happened during the war, and wrote these books to warn the past about what could happen if they follow what they initially want to do. You will have to read these books, with specific people. Christina, Zeke, Shauna, Caleb, and Peter. There is a twist though. Everyone who died in these books, will come alive, and will stay alive even after you finish the books. So, Uriah, Natalie, Andrew, Marlene, Lynn, Will, Al, and Tori will be alive.

Well, Uriah, Natalie, Andrew, Marlene, Lynn, Will, and Al will show up to the Dauntless compound tomorrow morning at 11 am. I would advise that you two go meet up with them, since some of them have never been to the Dauntless compound.

Anyways, after they arrive, you should start reading. After you finish reading I have a surprise for you two. So hurry up and read!

Thanks,

X

I'm in tears! My parents are alive! So is Will! I still feel bad for what I did to both Will and Al, so hopefully they will forgive me, or else I will be crushed.

I look at Tobias, then the clock behind him, and realize it's almost 9PM. We have to meet up with everyone at 11, and I think they're going to be entering from the "official" entrance, which technically is the net, but instead of jumping, we'll just take the stairs.

"Well, Tobias, I think we should head to bed, we have to meet up with everyone at 11, so we have to leave early," I say, grabbing his hand. He nodded, kissing my knuckles, and pulled me over to our bedroom.

"Hey, this also means that we have to see Christina and Zeke and everyone else. They'll probably have questions about where we've been. What should we say?" I ask, because honestly, I'm not really ready to tell Christina, and I doubt Tobias is ready to tell Zeke.

"Well, we can just say that we caught a bug during our honeymoon, and we've been recovering. Then once we're ready, we can tell them the actual truth," he said, pulling the blanket over the two of us, and locking his hands around my waist.

I nod, turning my head to kiss his bicep. "Goodnight," I mutter, sleep already pulling me under. He grunts in response, already dozing off.
