"There is no one in hell, all the demons are here."
His tears mingled with the blood from his wounds, the sweat and the rain, he could hear his voice croaking, begging him, pleading him, begging him to turn to him, but he couldn't. Khan reached up to hold him by his rain-soaked shirt and in a softer tone again begged him to look at him. Boss's body relaxed, and he turned towards him, their eyes met, filling with dire memories; but what do they say that love is chaos, that intensity, evilness and violence is another way the damned manifests, chaos leaves deep wounds, love leaves scars that cannot be erased. And as a pitiful, wounded smile bloomed on Boss's lips there was the sound a guns makes when it fires.
Khan's eyes widened in disbelief as Boss' shirt became soaked with blood and fell into his arms, desperately shaking him in his arms, his trembling hands clutched his chest, as life slipped through his fingers, trying in vain to stop the bleeding. Boss stretched out one of his hands to reach for Khan's cheek, as he could not hide the fear that death brought, his face crumpled in tears as he tried to find a path to the air. Khan took his hand squeezing it tightly.
"Boss, Boss!, look at me Boss!" he said between cries shaking him, begging him not to close his eyes, he moved his head from side to side as he sank his face into his neck stifling a desperate cry.
The rain was falling while the handles of the clock did not stop moving, not even the time stopped for them, the blood ran mixing with the rain leaving a trail of memories on the tiles, Khan did not stop looking at his hands full of blood, he tried to remove it by rubbing them against his clothes, but it just kept soaking, he took his hands against his face hiding his sorrow.
The doors of the emergency room opened and closed, the red light flickered nearby, and Asai's fists pounding on Khan's chest blamin him resonated on the hospital“s hall. The guards separated them, Asai asked Khan to disappear, he had no business being there.
Khan frowned, while the tears did not stop falling, it was at that moment that the doctors came out of the emergency room crestfallen approaching Asai, Khan shook his head from side to side in disbelief, until he turned completely to leave that place running.
He ran in the rain, screaming, kicking and hitting himself, blaming himself, he had nothing left, he had absolutely nothing left, by the time he realized he had already arrived at the Boss residence, the one that his father had inherited before his death, the place where Khan's worst nightmares lived once.
He lay down on the bed from where his beloved chains hung, wrapped himself in the robe that once belonged to Boss, and there, soaked in blood and tears, he closed his eyes.
"We are but time walking into oblivion."
His eyes opened when the faint sunlight slipped through the curtains, he rinsed his eyes with his hands, until he felt the smell of blood, he focused his eyes looking at his hands with red stains, he sat on the bed dumbfounded and looking at himself realizing that his whole body was wrapped in red and from his mouth escaped his name Boss! memories of the night before came flooding back and with his chest tightening he ran to the bathroom and jumped into the shower, letting the water run over his body as he removed his blood soaked clothes.
His whole body trembled, going over like a movie the scene of Boss falling in his arms wounded, Kahn began to scrub his body with his hands and nails desperate for the blood stains to disappear to the point of generating wounds on practically his entire body. he fell to the edge of the shower while rocking his body back and forth, repeating at loud to himself that it had all been a dream, that Boss was not dead, that nothing of what he remembered was real.
The world with Boss was already a dark and cruel place, Kahn knew it, but he didn't know how cruel it could be and it was Boss who showed him, taught him that even in the midst of darkness monsters are beautiful, that there is also beauty in chaos, and that broken and twisted people are human beings just the same.
Asai entered the bathroom to find Kahn under the water of the shower with scratches and wounds all over his body. Asai nodded his head, two of his bodyguards approached to turn off the water and tuck him in, but Kahn reacted in a very violent way, his whole body was shaking and his eyes almost escaped from his orbits, Asai approached and held him by the shoulders, but Kahn was out of his mind, they had to sedate him to be able to transport him to the hospital.
Asai asked his bodyguards to take Kahn, while he stayed in the residence, Boss never took him to this residence, when he came out of the bathroom and observed the room, from the ceiling of the bed hung different chains, some thicker than others, pulleys that could be pulled, there were two tables in front of the bed and a broken mirror, he found blood stains all over the place and torture devices. He had heard from his brother's bodyguards that he was not considered a normal person, but cold and very cruel, but he never met that person, with him he was always warm and loving.
Maybe Boss wanted to protect him from knowing this dark side and now he was curious to know who his brother had been all this time, and the only person able to tell that story was Kahn.
"Find me, find me where the end begins, where in echoes echoes your world and mine."
